Circle K gas not received due to severed - still charged $63.99

Hello,
I stopped at this gas station about a month and a half ago to get gas and the pump had a severed fuel-line that wasn't roped off. I started pumping gas normally and became concerned when the pump didn't auto-shut-off at the $30 mark (I drive a Scion xD and it usually takes about $30-$40 to fill from completely empty). I disengaged the pump and the pump continued to "pump" the gas. I became concerned that gas was going to leak everywhere, so I ran inside and informed the attendant who told me "the line was just severed, I haven't had a chance to rope it off so just remove the nozzle". I ran back outside and removed the nozzle and he was correct; no gas leaked anywhere. I checked my gas level (pictured below) and confirmed that no gas made it into my tank. At this point, the charge made it all the way up to $63.99 for gas that I didn't receive. I went back inside to get a refund/use a different pump, but the attendant informed me that "only the manager can perform pump refunds". I told the attendant that I lived in Northern California (about 6 hours away), and he said to call back on the following Monday and the manager would refund me; no problem. I called back per his instructions, and the manager told me that he was aware of the severed gas line, but that Circle K and Exxon Mobil did not allow him to make refunds over the phone. He informed me to call around/dispute the charge with my bank (which I did), when my bank told me that the merchant must refund me the amount. I called the manager again to tell him this, and he gave me another contact to call (Exxon mobile). Exxon mobile told me that they only supply the gas, and that Circle K or the manager must perform the refund. I called the manager back, again, and told him my findings. He told me that he would call Circle K and process the refund (1 week ago), but still hasn't done so.

Essentially, I've been chasing phone numbers for about a month, and have had no luck. The branch manager refuses to process a refund over the phone. I really need a refund because I was charged $63.99 and didn't receive what I paid for (my tank can't even hold that amount).

I hope you all can find a solution, because this is my last option before I have to file a police report with this station.

Circle K customer service

I just went into a Cirlce K gas station to pick up a few things and the lady that was working was on her cell phone the entire time! It took her 3 minutes to even acknowledge that I was even in the store. (This was at 10:30pm) I was the only one in the store. She never talked to me during the process and I had to repeat myself several times to tell her what I would like behind the counter. She didn't have a name badge on but she was African American with short hair and skinny. Very very unprofessional and I will not be returning with that type of service. This circle k is located in Lima Ohio on the corner of west and bower rd.

Circle K poor treatment of employees

I was working on circle K from last 3 months and i was doing well suddenly without and prior notice and without and major complaint my manager fired me now i'm job less so my question is for circle k that k is that is this your polices regarding your employees and just think how i'm gonna cover up my expenses without job

Circle K Not honoring advertised price

Coke twelve packs are at two for 7.99. They charged me 8.99 and treated me rudely when I pointed out the discrepancy. This is unacceptable. I've been a customer at that exact circle k for several years and this is just ridiculous. If you can't advertise and honor the correct price, It's fraudulent deception. Plain and simple. Customer service is usually better than that behavior today. The gray haired senior employee was a total jerk. The girl at the register was obviously not experienced or even pleasant. What's up circle k?

Circle K general manager

Monday my husband pumped $250 diesel in his company semi. He buys between $500 and $1000 per month. He gets 3 copies of his receipt and has his fuel log stamped with the store stamp. On Monday the cashier refused to stamp his log and the manager Sara refused and then told my husband not to come back to the store. We live in Edgewater and have purchased alot of fuel from this store and cannot understand why the suddenly won't stamp his log and then tell him not to come back. He wants to know why they wouldn't stamp and if he is allowed to purchase fuel at this store

Circle K employee

My husband went in the store to purchase my cigarettes, her doors not smoke. Hey is 43 yrs old and i am 42 years old. She checked his ID and it had just expired a few days prior on his birthday. She would not sell them to him. So he came out and told me, so i went in to purchase my own cigarettes. She was very rude and said i know you are with him so i can't set them to you either. I asked her why not, she said its 3rd party. I said maam, i am the one he came in for, so no there not and my id is not expired and I'm 42 years old. She still refused. This was at 730pm at the scottsburg Indiana circleK. Very poor customer service especially when im 3 times the sales limit. I will not do business here again and will make a post on social media.

Circle K customer service

I am a regular customer at my local circle k. At least I was. I purchased my smokeless tobacco and the sales clerk put it in a bag, I paid then left. Unknowing until the next morning she gave me the wrong product . That afternoon I went In thinking I could just exchange. Now I know that her mistake just cost me $40 because once alcohol or tobacco leave the store it's your policy to do no returns. That's fine. I won't return for anything either. No gas. No drinks. No tobacco. No lottery. All of which me and my family are there weekly to get. And I will make sure and tell everyone I know that Walmart is right up the street and they should go there .

Circle K every circle k

I stopped going to Circle K when QT opened up,
there service is 100 times better.
They just opened a new Large Circle K near my home and its a little easier to get in and out.
I thought I would give it a try.
When I walked in there was one employee standing outside the door smoking a cigarette .
A line with 6 people in it one cashier, a manager a another employee stand near the counter talking about the storm the night before.
At QT they would have jumped to the counter to help.
Not at Circle K.
If I was the owner of Circle K I would go into a QT and see how its done.
I will not be back.

Circle K manager

Have told management over and over again that employee has defamed my name and business six individuals have come to me and told me that she has told them that I have sexually assaulted her 6 years ago if true you would think I would be in prison but it is not management has told her to stop speaking of this while on company time I recorded her the other day telling a customer that story also this employee Shirley Mitchell has been observed standing by the dumpster exchanging Monies 4 a baggie look to me as a drug deal management has been told of this nothing has been done Shirley Mitchell 1 month ago overdosed on heroin went to the hospital and was at work the next day management has been told of this nothing has been done hence why I am contacting you I spend over $1, 700 a month at one Circle K store $600 in Lottery at $20 a day $600 in gas at $20 a day 100 and 2 dollars in Circle K Polar Pop cups two packs of cigarettes at $5.01 each at $10.02 per day comes to $300 in a month milk every evening at $3.49 per gallon for 30 days comes to $105 if not resolved I will speak negatively of the store I have reported to the Better Business Bureau Yelp and Google the negative response of the store

Circle K I was yelled at by one of your customer service representatives.

I went into the store to buy cigarettes and an energy drink. I wasn't paying attention to the transaction and didn't realize you were no longer running a special on the drinks I purchased and it seemed like the coupon I had for the cigarettes didn't scan. I asked to return the drinks and re ring in the cigarette sue, the customer service representative became very angry with me and threw the correct change at me. I am not one who usually finds myself in conflict with cashier (this is the first time in my life) and she told me to never change me back. I have never been so rudely treated.

Circle K brian assistant manager #137 in nahunta ga 31553

So my wife and many wemon I know also including my mom have complained about this individual sexually harassing them, I've complained to manager and nothing has changed. He says things like *hey cutie you can take your wedding ring off and nobody will know* etc. It's very annoying for me as a husband that my wife and friends are harrased at this store, and I've been told he does it to every female that goes in the store. He works at the big circle k and the small circle k. [protected]@hotmail.com is my email if you would like to know more, thank you very much. Store number I believe is #137. I do not want this man fired I just want his attention brought to the disgusting thing he does and it makes wemon feel very uncomfortable to go into your stores. Thank you. Circle K the manager @4375 spring mountain. las vegas nv.89103

I am a regular paying customer and buy gas among a lot of other items i like going to this 1 because it is right around the corner from my apt. and i go a little bit further to go to circle k when green valley grocery is a 2 min.walk from my apt. and the manager is got to be the rudest unkind. Person i have ever came acrossed.she is not a people person non friendly. Non helpful.for example, i asked her "do you have oil for cars here?" She said "your in this store enough you should know this store inside and out"How she became a manager in a customer service invironment. Is a good quistion.she's driving customers away.All the other workers are kind smile and enjoy there jobs.i won't go there when she is there.Something needs to be done.

Circle K bought moldy sandwich

I bought a ham and turkey sandwich from one of the stores on 7/31/18 and when I opened the package it smelled absolutely horrible. Like really really old, stale bread. I took the sandwich out of the package and opened it up and there was mo;d in the sandwich! So gross! I had to throw it away. Thats $4 in the trash. Im super disappointed that this location stocks moldy food

Circle K clerk "jessica"

Honey, it's shark week between 5am-possibly 3pm at the circle K (Kangaroo Express and Subway) on Rt. 9 Little River, SC. If she was a shark, you could swim away fast and survive, no bites, unmaimed, but this young lady "Jessica" wants you to know she is unfriendly. We live in that kind of world people, nobody has to be nice, act right, be polite or mannerly...it's sharkfest everywhere...but to exercise those chompers at your job because that's how you're gonna let the world know how miserable you are is not gonna be tolerated by most. Endangers the whole store by creating hostility and attracts the big crazy sharks.. frantic feeding frenzy scene. She's not a great white or even great...but if she doesn't like people, she shouldn't be in customer service. Stoneface expression (to let you know), loud aggressive tone( to let you know), sarcastic, angry, unhelpful ( to let you know again and again), etc., etc. I don't like writing reviews(maybe 1 or 2 in my life)..it's not even worth it to me. But it's worth it for you out there...there are 100 other stores up the road...This time it's personal (JAWS). Only in the way that my visit today reminded me again not to go to this store during these hours. She's just hangin out in this lagoon waiting to attack. It's a stupid waste of time to act this way. It lets everbody ( including corporate..hi there!)know you can and are going to act this way because this company (and life, your family, friends, next job serving the public)lets you act like a disturbed ball of emotions in public. You are 1 in a long line of bad Miss, I'm just warning the general audience about the store you swim in. I had time. You're welcome everybody. I serve the public for long hours every day too...just like we all do. Just do it with a little grace people...I know some don't deserve it...grace means excusing it because it doesn't have to affect your day negatively. And, in the end, you don't just look cool being neverminding it...you are cool. People act terrible because they are or want your attention or both. I don't have time, do you? They have time, they make time to act badly. We're surrounded by sharks. They say you should stay still and be calm and they go away. I see it on Discovery, it's true. Thrash around and get unwanted attention. Ok, here it is.

Circle K cleanliness of store and no product

I was there at 1:45 to get a unsweetened tea and again no product as last time I was in there.. they had a sign no restrooms clogged up. Water was all over the front area where the soda and coffee area is.. black carpet rug in front was soaking wet .. no wet sign out.. cups weren't filled.. my sandal was soaked when I left the store.. told the clerk when I walked out she said I know but I can't get back there to do anything I'm the only one here... seriously corporate you only have 1 employee trying to do everything... shame on you! You've lost a lot of business at this location at 1522 east McCord in Centralia Illinois people are going to Casey's.

Circle K employee taking off during working hours without clocking out and leaving busy store with long line and only one employee

on the 4th of July employee patrisha aka sunshine was working with employee Henry 2nd shift. at around 8:00 pm when store is at its busiest time of day. employee patrisha started closing down her register . and did not properly drop money nor do necessary paper work for closing down register . left any peppers on counter grabbed only her cell phone and purse and told employee she will be back. that she had to go pick up another employee that lives with her a few blocks away, and works at the same store . as there became a longer line she just left . she did not clock out knowing this was 4th of july time and a half pay . this was at 8:20 pm ... customers had now become angrier not only cuz of long line but because patrisha ignored her duties and walked out the door as if doing without a care in the world . "a customer stated"! another customer stated that patrisha was outside front of store talking and laughing on her cell phone... patrisha returned to work at 9:08 pm. 48 minutes later she walked in went straight to register and begone to close down tak. then after she closed tak. employee liz opened up register for night shift . as i was finally able to close down my register so that employee Henry can now finish up with work duties that would have bin done if employee patrisha had not left store. by this time it was now around 9:40 pm. employee Henry closed register took paper work to office then continued to go outside to remove garbage from containers at pumps. as in doing so he can see inside store wear Liz and patrisha were sitting around talking and laughing on company time. when they saw me returning they begin to work. I then saw patrisha taking large trash can to dumpster lifting up into dump then returning back inside. by this time Henry had clocked out and was leaving store. reason for mentioning Trisha lifting trash can is because patrisha had bin missing work Manny different times conning in with doctors excuses each and every time . stating she has excuse from her doc. that she can not lift no more than 10lb. not to mention each and every doc. excuse she brings to work all seem to be printed from same printer and paper . with different excuses at different date and times. some are hospital and some are doctors office. but all the same paper type and printer.

Circle K employee treatment

I worked at the Cornelius NC store up till 07/24/2018 over 2 years. I enjoyed the company till I had to transfer to a store where other assistant managers had no respect for me as an assistant. They treat employees with disrespect and customers.
This store makes the whole company look bad I will never tell anyone to apply at that store. I just hope they are talked and taught to treat people equally. I really did enjoy my time at the poplar tent store in NC.

Circle K - the.25 cent mug refill

The sign says .25 cent refills up to 44 oz Mug refills. What are the rules do you have to buy a specific circle k cup or can u bring in any mug up to 44 oz and get the polar pop for 25 cents. I have brought my own mug in which is not close to 44 oz to some circle k stores and I get the promotion and other circle k stores don't give me the promotion. Can you please clarify this for me

Circle K customer service is horrible

I went into your store that your company took over from Valero. It's Tuesday 24 July 2018 at 7:30 PM and both of your clerks were talking on the phone while there was a line going to the back of the store. Neither one giving a damn about the customers. When I finally got to the register a lady by the name of Eugenia, not positive on the spelling, was the rudest and most unprofessional person I've ever met. Insulted me and called people names, racist. Because your company would employ someone like this I will never do business with your company again. A real shame because I was an assistant manager some years ago with Circle K and we were proud of our customer service and professionalism. I guess your company doesn't give a damn anymore.

Circle K an employee's actions towards another employee and myself on my visit 7/22/2018

My name is tommy mcguire and i was in circle k located at 1700 s. Dixie fwy. New smyrna beach, florida around 9:53 pm getting gas and went inside to buy a few other things. I stood waiting to be taken care of for a while looking at the lottery. An employee "brittany" (she was wearing a cast) was standing behind the register talking to some guy who was sitting there chatting it up. I guess it was her boyfriend or husband way too friendly with each other. Very unprofessional for an employee to have someone there while on the clock. She was too busy to take care of me as a customer so i decided to leave after she ignored me.
There was another employee there changing the trash out in the front; i couldn't make out her name at that time but it stared with an "e". I am not sure what this employees "brittany" problem was tonight but she walked right up to the other employee and got in her face running her mouth to her. I could tell that it really upset this other employee but the other employee didn't lose her cool at all or say anything out of the way. I can tell that it upset her because she had tears in her eyes.
Only thing she said was that she was going to talk to the manager about it in the morning. I heard the employee in the cast tell the guy sitting there talking to her that she doesn't have to do anything and she can make her do it all. To me this is wrong of any employee to do or say this. I am a regional manager myself and if i ever heard or saw one of my employees speak to or treat another employee or person like that i would fire them without thinking twice.
Shortly after i left i called the at 10:03 store phone [protected] and the employee "brittany" answered the phone. I simply asked for for her to give my number to the manager and also to give me corporate phone number she hung up on me. I was shocked and livid ! so i called back and asked why she hung up on me and she stated that i was being hostile... All because i explained to her how i was ignored there and how i wanted corporate to know how she treated the other employee and she informed me that if i have a problem to come back in there to that store. Me calling asking for corporate number is not me being hostile at all. The more i thought about it i went on into the store again and gave my contact information to the other employee and asked her to give it to the manager when she saw them next. She apologized to me multiple times for what all happened and it wasn't her place to but she did anyway. The other employees name is elizabeth and she told me that she there to help her get her stuff done because brittany's arm was broke. I explained to her that i was proud of her to keep her cool when she got in her face and she told me that i have a child to raise and that she loved her job and didn't want to lose it. After talking to her for a couple minutes i told her to keep my contact information as well so if anything happens and she gets in trouble for brittany's actions then she will have a witness to take legal actions.
As a regional manager myself and as a customer at circle k i am hoping that you resolve this problem because your employee "brittany" is rude, lazy, very unprofessional. She also makes it impossible for your other employee to do their jobs. She made your other employee "elizabeth" job a hostile work environment which if this doesn't get resolved this could turn into a civil matter for your company.
