Circle K employee disrespectful

I paid Natalie employer at 3971 Goodman rd $5 on pump number 7 around 4:30 p.m. and went to try go pump gas but my pump wasn't on. So I went back in store to tell her my pump wasn't on. By the the time I enter the store Natalie was walking back into the office. So I told the other 2 ladies I'm not sure of there names. But they had the line all the way from register to the door. So I went up to the counter and inform the 2 ladies that my pump not on and 1 of the ladies had bad attitudes telling me I didn't pay for any gas. So I asked her to rewind her cameras or go to the back and get Natalie. They told me no and I had to get to the end of the line and pay for gas. So I said no mam I have work to get to and you guys already in here holding people up in line. So one of the ladies told me "get the hell out or get at end of line or go to another store and get my gas" and I said I will leave after I get my money back then. And she started taking other people orders while I literally waited til there whole line was gone. So after all that Natalie came back out talked about my situation like she knew I paid 5 on my pump, so I go back outside to pump and the pump still wasn't on, I walked back in and asked " are you going to turn my pump on" that's when she asked me "did I pump my gas already" I said "no, can't you tell I haven't, the last person use the pump paid I think 35-75 before me on pump #7 and right before that she just had a mis understand with some else on pump #9 that someone prepaid $10 already before the lady that paid $15 on pump #9 and the lady that paid $10 came back to store and was in before me and she walk right up to counter in front of everyone and got taken care of. So the smaller employer went on ahead and told Natalie to put 5 on my pump. I told the other lady that had got argument with me, that "I will complain to corporate about her service she gave me". I went back to pump my gas and went back in store to get there names and they wouldn't come out the office.

Circle K service

on 5/11/17 at around 3:00-3:30pm I walked into the store located at 1600 N, Zaragosa in El Paso Texas. I paid for gas using change and as I was counting the change to assure I was giving your clerk the correct amount i noticed the clerk was making gestures and facial expressions to the customers behind me. The clerk seemed very inpatient and annoyed that I was paying with change and I myself am offended by the service that was provided by your clerk. It is offensive that a clerk would act like that let alone express it to the customers behind me. i felt humiliated and embarrassed to begin with and your clerk made that much more humiliating.

Circle K cashiers

Cashiers not moving the long line waiting to check out, talking to each other and extremely rude to costumer's, I don't have to buy gas there, I won't be talked to in a rude manner while trying to buy gas and lunch, the lines are to the back of the store, the workers are rude and just talking to each other, there is never hardly any food ready to buy this is a poor store

Circle K gilbert was extremely rude

Gilbert was a completely ignorant, incompetent, pathetic excuse of an employee. He ignored the line of customers waiting for service as he slowly unpacked something that most definitely should have been put on hold. When he finally got back to helping customers, he decided to give me cash back in coins, when I could clearly see plenty of cash in the drawer. When i requested I receive cash instead of coins, he said "I'm not trying to be a [censored], but I have to space my cash out for the night" as if there isn't more cash anywhere in the store! He argued with me for 5 minutes but would not accommodate my simple request. I've never been so angry at a gas station employee in my life! Never going to circle k again.

Circle K cashier had $0 change in drawer

I went into the Circle K 2721559 located at 10 N University Blvd Mobile, AL 36608 tonight to purchase 3 fountain drinks & when I attempted to pay cash, the cashier asked me if I wanted to wait on my change. I found it odd that at 8:54:40 PM she had zero coins for making change in her drawer. While it was only $.39, I found it odd & decided to pay via my debit card rather than have to wait 10 or more minutes for change. I'm not saying it was a scam to pocket lose change, but why would a cashier have no change in her drawer? The only thing I can think of was pocketing the change over the course of the night or by not having change, save time when reconciling the drawer at the end of her shift which she proclaimed was at 10 PM.

My order # 2722559 $2.37

I shop at this store several times a week & this was the first time I had ever experienced any issue.

Sincerely

Rick Smith

Circle K customer service

The store at 330 East Broadway road. The Cashier Debrah asked the man in front of me not to return to the store. He was trying to purchase a money order with his debit card, she told him he could not, he stated he previously bought one with his debit card. She told him if he had a problem with company policy not to return and to go elsewhere. This seems like bad customer service.

Circle K Clerk harassment

This past weekend, my husband and I went into the kangaroo express at 301 Providence blvd in Clarksville tn. We brought some groceries to the counter & the clerk advised rudely that we should have just gone to the grocery store to buy our items. We apprehensively had to explain that kangaroo express was the closest store, as we took a walk there. After very aggressively scanning our items, we tried to pay with EBT. The clerk scoffed, rolled her eyes then very loudly asked us why we didn't tell her it was EBT in the first place. And that now she had to "re-ring everything just because we didn't tell her." The clerk threw her arms up in displeasure that she has to do extra work.

Instead of taking care of us, she advised that now we will have to wait until she took care of the other customers. Which she decided to have a conversation with all the other people in line, with no sense of urgency for the inconvenience.

Finally, she re-rang all of our items, very very slowly, way slower than the first time she checked us out. In agitation, all I could do is laugh because I could not believe what disrespect & lack of customer service the clerk was displaying. The customers behind us (who we later found out were friends of the clerk), decided to start harassing us in line, saying we were being disrespectful by laughing. We tried to explain the situation but felt that the situation was escalating the more we tried to explain ourselves.

We put in the wrong pin number & the card declined, the clerk and her friends proceeded to "ooooooh" and laugh at the fact that the sale was declined after waiting all that time. We were extremely embarrassed and disrespected by the conduct of your employee because she was clearly encouraging this behavior. We put the correct pin in swore to never do business there again.

We attempted to give the store a second chance, as long as there was a different clerk to serve us. After we noticed that it was the same lady, we decided not to go in. While walking away, the clerks friends came outside of the store and started yelling, saying that we were not allowed there. Which was fine BC the of how we have been previously treated.

At the grocery store today, the clerk and her 2 nieces approached us asking if we were "the ones that were being rude to their aunt. " and to avoid confrontation in public, we just walked away.

This is going to be an ongoing issue and we are continually being harassed by the clerk and her family anytime we walk past that grocery store. I want to go and talk to the GM so badly, but fear that there will be an escalated situation that will ultimately involve the police.

Why do you keep an employee like that?
Why do my husband and I have to put up with walking to a further store BC were being harassed by an employee of your company & their family & friends?
Why isn't there anything being done About this?

I've called & left multiple messages for corporate but have yet to get a response. I will be posting & reviewing negatively on this location until someone contacts me & tells me what will be done about the situation, becuase at this point, its my observation that your company hires bullies to tend their stores with no reprecussion for their actions. My phone number, if anyone cares... [protected]

The employee is an African american, older woman with very short hair. Rudest employee ever. No company should hire her if she is interacting with the public. Hiring her is a great way to lose business to loyal and respectable customers.

Circle K I am just in complete shock

Tammy MUnguiaTammy MUnguia, Woods Of Brushy Creek

I am shaken to the core today at what I just witnessed at the Circle K in my neighborhood ( Corner of Cornerwood and 620). Store had about 7 people in it. I was second in line to this Hispanic man who was trying to pay $50 for his $16 purchase the man at counter said sorry I don't have change. I said let me go to my car and see if I have change. I forgot my wallet. He said thanks for checking so his friend put all his stuff and he said I'll pay for him too and the little Guy behind counter said he still doesn't have change for you. So they left. I said I can't believe it's afternoon and you don't have $20 in your register. He said oh I don't but don't want his money he's Mexican. I said what did you say. He said Mexicans are dirtiest people on earth. I said I am so offended by what you just said my husband and kids are Mexicans and he said well sorry they are dirtiest people and I don't want their money. I am just Shook to the CORE. My heart hurts. #wanthimfired #noroomforhate #hemakesmesick

It reminds me of the old Bonanza episode where the eastern Asian guy is trying to buy stuff for his son's birthday party, and they did have it in stock, but wouldn't sell it to him because of his ethnicity. Of course, that scene took place in the 1800s.

It didn't go well. When I got there I described the whole event in detail and he said "I don't really like that", not sure what that means. And then he acted like it was more of an inconvenience than anything and he asked "do y'all know anyone that needs a job?" Because not having to work extra shifts is more important to him than firing a racist employee? And then he said "well I can't make a decision on the spot". So overall I'm not sure he's going to do anything about it but I told him I will not quit until action is taken and that man is no longer working there. I will give them until Wednesday

I'm curious if the person who said that was the same [censored] who wouldn't help me with their fuel rewards thing. I was trying to pay at the pump using the new fuel rewards account I had just set up and the electronic system was screwing up. I went inside to ask the guy at the counter and he said "well you must have done it wrong." I said "no, I'm fairly certain I followed the steps on the screen." And he said "well if it didn't work then you didn't do it right." I said "well would you please come outside and help me?" So he grumbled under his breath and followed me out to my car and looked at the pump. He did exactly what I did and got the same error. Then he said "well it's supposed to work so you must have pushed the wrong buttons and now it doesn't work" and he WALKED OFF as I was still trying to talk to him.
I'm not Hispanic but have been mistaken for it, so I'm curious now if it really was the same guy. Or you know, maybe he hates Asians too, cuz he's a racist punk [censored].

Tammy M. Thank you for posting what you witnessed, as well as the neighbor who was standing behind you and witnessed this Circle K employee's racist and discriminatory behavior and language. I feel so bad for the customer who was just try to buy something for himself and was treated this way. It also sounds like other customers have had negative experiences with perhaps this same employee. I'm also shocked but not surprised that this employee is so emboldened as to express his racist attitudes so openly. But I also pleased by the number of people who have commented condemning this type of behavior. And Tammy M, thanks for pursuing your complaint up the management chain. My hope is that they will do the appropriate thing so that no other customer's have to be treated so disrespectfully. If management does NOT do the right thing by listening to and correcting this type of behavior on the part of their employees, then by all means take your business elsewhere...I would. And make sure that local management and corporate knows that you will expose what happened to a customer and their failure to take the appropriate action. There are plenty of folks looking for employment...keeping this one on their payroll will be a poor reflection of how much they value their customers.
Thanked!

I bought gas there pretty much exclusively but today I switched to 7/11. My husband did the same. If they fire that employee in the next day or two then I'll go back. If they don't then they lost my business entirely. Some have argued it's not the owner or manager's fault but it is absolutely their responsibility to train employees and make sure customers are welcomed and safe. Their employees represent their brand. I'm glad to see most of my neighbors won't tolerate racism like that.
Thanked!

IGNORANCE... simple as that! It affects all races and ethnicities. Very sad. It's almost a disease.

I don't shop there, but I am following this conversation. For those of you who are speaking up against this evil, I thank you. I am appalled at the behavior that has been encouraged and normalized by the current President. The actions taken by this administration and the things said and done against non-whites, the disabled, POWs, women, non-Christians, and more are creating ill will around the world against the U.S. And in this country, like-minded people are emboldened by their leader who encourages and promotes hate. It is so sad to see such hateful actions taking place against children, women, and others. I pray that something good will come from all this hate. And to see good people rallying against this hate means that evil will not triumph here. Thank you.

Call the manager, I had a slip and fall in the store one day when the guy had left ice and water on the floor after filling the cooler and he was so rude and acted like it was my fault for not seeing it. A man that helped me up chewed his butt left and right but thankfully I was ok but i called and reported him. Maybe if more people speak up they will get rid of rude people when they realize we are all connected and not going to shop there.

@donna... I don't think the people Tammy is talking about are Trump supporters. Take a peek in there and you will know.
But I do get where you're coming from.

@cesar, my point is the blatant racial hatred, such as this man calling Mexicans "dirty" and refusing to serve them is an attitude that we are seeing throughout the country, whether that person supports Trump or not, Our President demonstrates this very behavior. The leader of our country should be bringing all people together and should condemn prejudice and hatred. He's not. And "the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." (Edmund Burke)

Not really sure what Cesar's comment meant? Not really sure why people want to keep bringing up Trump. I voted for Trump and I don't approve of what Tammy saw happen. Most people, no matter who they voted for, dont approve of that employee's behavior. No reason to bring up politics and divisiveness. Good grief. Tammy, thank you for reporting and trying to get this bad behavior stopped. It would be so much easier to do nothing, but you are going the extra mile to keep it from happening again.

It's not about politics. It's about normalizing this kind of behavior, as demonstrated and encouraged by someone who should be doing the exact opposite. His first words were to condemn Mexicans, except for some who "might be good people." That's not politics. That's just racism. And now some people think it's okay to behave the same way. The guy at the Shell Station is just one example.

I'm going to guess that this guy has been a racist most of his life and no one or no administration is to blame for his actions.
This is my normal stop for gas. I very rarely go in. I will move on over to HEB until I hear that this has been handled satisfactorily.

As a frequent customer, I called and talked to the manager. I think his name is Matt. He said that he was going to be talking to his boss to determine how this situation would be handled. I didn't get the impression that he condoned the behavior. I actually got the impression that he wasn't sure what to do or that he had limits on what he could do about it. I'm sure there is a process for termination, though Texas is an at-will state. I also think he might have a staffing issue. Still, there is no excuse for this behavior and there should be a zero tolerance policy when it comes to racism and discrimination (even for those making minimum wage as the racist sympathizer pointed out earlier).
Thank

Shannon Anderson, Meadows Of Brushy Creek·39m ago
I was surprised that the management, whether at the store or corporate, didn't have zero tolerance for this simply on the grounds that the guy is turning away business/money? Add in racist behavior and it's a no brainer. Big corporations are all about making money.

I think a lot of these gas stations are franchises and independently owned. It would not surprise me if this guy was a relative of the owner. It might explain his brazen attitude. He thinks he owns the place. Or maybe be really owns the place. It certainly doesn't excuse his behavior.

Circle K employee working at 8:30 p.m., on 5-8-18

I was trying to access the fountain machine to get my mountain dew voltage, and the short ugly black pygmy who works day shift stood in the way with a huge bag of trash looking lost. Then, when I tried to fill my cup with soda, it kept spewing air from the nozzle. I tried cycling it a couple of times to clear it up and the little [censored] cussed me out for wasting soda! She has no business at all working in customer service anywhere ever! You lost a long time customer today thanks to that worthless [censored]. They just built a new raceway down the street. I'll go there from now on. And so will everyone else I come into contact with!

Circle K itunes cards

I stop in this store multiple times weekly. It's 845 Robert Smalls Pkwy, Port Royal, SC. 2 times this week I stopped in as usual to purchase my usual 2 25 dollar iTunes cards. I was told that the employees did not know how to activate the cards. I am finding my self wondering how Circle k really wants peoples business or just wants people to buy items they know about. So I spent 100 dollars this week at Walmart which after 12 hrs on my feet last place I want to go is the back of Walmart to get 2 cards. How many other people have been turned away and how much money or business do you care about losing? Have s great day ty

Circle K fountain soda

False advertising on the store and gas truck sitting outside store. Tried to address my concerns to the cashier but he was too busy texting. When I asked for a manager he said "no manager on duty" and continued to text during my transaction. I Get soda every day on the way to work, first time I was asked if I wanted my receipt. I took my receipt due to the fact I was overcharged with no price adjustment.

Circle K scam/ fraud to earn more

I booked a small truck for 4 hours, which includes 50 km travel and costs 559 SEK.
I gave the vehicle back 30 mins late, i was expecting to pay more for that but the guy said now I have to pay for entire day's rent which is another 501 SEK and I can not use the vehicle anymore as it is booked by another customer. How can you charge me for one whole day and not even let me use the vehicle. So you are earning twice the amount from one vehicle on the same day. This completely wrong and scam behavior from Circle K. If anyone know what should I do next, Please let me know.

Circle K customer service

I was at one of your stores earlier today, and the two employees were talking loudly, and not paying the customers any attention. When I paid for my items, the guy behind the counter tried to hand me my receipt. I proceeded to tell him that I did not need it, and he then slammed it on the counter loudly, and made a remark that nobody ever wanted a receipt, and it was a was a waste of his time. There was several customers in the store, as well as children. He was a heavier African American, with a beard, and big hair. I stop at this particular store every morning to get my coffee, and tobacco. The store is located on Quacco Rd, in Savannah Georgia. Thank you. Josh Finley

Circle K workers pay

My granddaughter works at one of your stores in Seymour, IN. She says she worked 42.75 hours a week or two ago, and she was only paid for 14. Can you explain this to me. I am the cosigner on her student loans which she cannot pay because you don't pay her. What is the problem? Her name is Chelsea L. Wooton. I got a text saying my text is too short and may not be answered. What kink of answer is that, and what kind of company are you? I need to know why you are not paying her the hours she is due. And, I have no problem going to the Better Business Bureau!

Circle K customer service and damage of property

I went to the Circle K on 5/3 / 2018 at 11:18 am. The address is 8496 Blanding Boulevard Jacksonville Florida 32244. I went there to drop off my fiance to his employer for work. While waiting I went inside to purchase two drinks on register 2. I then stepped aside to get items out of my wallet to purchase cigarettes. I then went back to the clerk which I believe is the store manager and I asked her about different prices of cigarettes. She rudely said I don't know. I want to purchase a pack of cigarettes I handed her my ID and she bent and cracked the bottom of my ID and said we do not accept damaged IDs. The bottom part of my ID above the strip had a crack but not all the way through the ID and not all the way along the bottom portion of the ID. As she was bending the bottom portion of my ID I was asking her why are you breaking my ID. She said it's already broken I can accept this it is invalid. At that point I was very upset and I said it why are you breaking my ID she said it's already broken. She then told me to have a nice day and I said will you have a bad day. I went outside to my car at the pump as I was waiting on my fiance's boss to put gas in my car for dropping him off. After a couple of minutes the clerk came outside and told me that there's no loitering on her property. She said I need to leave need to leave.I then told her I'm waiting on someone to purchase gas for my car. I asked her again why did she break my ID she said she did not break my ID it was already broken. She started saying rude things to me as I did back. My fiancee kindly broke up the argument. My gas light was on when I got to the gas station. My fiancees boss gave the money for gas to me. I did not purchase the gas there. i was affraid she was calling the police. I dont know why she would. I didnt do or say anything to harm her. She started the agumement. I didnt feel welcome when I first walked in the store. She embarrassed and upset me sadly. Im not sure if she was a manager or not . I know she is a black female with curly hair. I feel as though she targeted me. *Circle k 2726299*

Circle K I am complaining because they are very rude and unprofessional in this particular store

I've also watched many of the employees give away free items that people did not pay for. They also purposely did not ring up certain items when people were at the register. The manager is rude and should have a better tone when speaking to customers. They never have the right things out. Such as lids or straws for your sodas. Some employees do others hair in the store during late hours also.

Circle K kicked of property while waiting to cash in lottery tickets to get gas after buying items

I visited your store in Orange Park Florida at the corner of Youngerman Circle and Blanding Boulevard on May 2nd 2018 at approximately for 12 to 4:30 a.m. I was very low on fuel and had$40 in lottery cards that was unable to be cashed in until 6 a.m. A light-skinned African-American woman Fox 26 foot roughly 200 to 250 lb; who I assumed to be the manager of the store because she was not wearing any of the uniforms standard by Circle K but yet a nice button-up shirt with a name tag which position unfortunately where I could not see the name it, approached my vehicle where am I expecting wife and I we're having a conversation about my upcoming visit to the VA and in ways to deal with my PTSD I pulled over at this location because I have stopped here many of times before and it is along my route to the VA on this morning I was having an attack in which I was having trouble breathing and was not in the right State of Mind to be driving because of this I let my gas get extremely low and had been informed my been riding with my gas light on for several miles. The lady came out once and said that we could not be lording we just advised on the situation and then agreed to spend our last few bucks to obtain some snacks which included in a chocolate milk and a couple bananas to help with the cravings of my female partner. Within 30 minutes the lady returns and point to the sign saying no lordering we were going to go back in and purchase another item for a dollar seeing as how I was the last one we had to wait for 6 for the cash in of the tickets to obtain gas to finish our journey to the VA we were then told that we needed to leave or law enforcement will be called upon leaving we were merely trying to go 50 yards across the street to a competitors gas station to wait there to catch our tickets in and obtain a fuel am I pregnant why and I to have to push the car across the busy intersection. Would have Halls me the most is that the excuse she gave was that corporate had live feeds and had kept contacting her about why the vehicle was parked outside the store for 45 minutes. Even though we had purchased items and had spoke with the lady inside about the situation. It is very disturbing how the attendant / manager on duty would treat a wounded service vet and a pregnant female who is a regular patron of the store I have seen the workers give coffee and cups of water to homeless vagrants whom they say hang out around there all the time and they have to run off; be allowed to stay for many hours and bum money from patrons like myself or my wife whom pay everyday for your services. But when paying customer are truly in need and are just merely waiting for a short time to pay once again for your services are ran off even though they're having a panic attack cause from service conditions that extent from time overseas at War Ergo PTSD. I contacted the VA to let them know that I would not be able to make my appointment do to my car completely running out of fuel intern which cause my fuel pump to run dry and become inoperable. I did not realize this until after obtaining $5 from a good citizen at your competitors gas station when they saw me and my wife pushing the car across through a busy intersection. The VA then advised for me to contact Circle K's corporate office so I am doing just that. I will be meeting with the new stations as well this morning May 2nd 2018 to discuss the treatment and let other patrons know the treatment in which we received from your store at Youngerman Circle and Blanding Boulevard. This convenient / gas station is conveniently located less than 300 yards from 295 in Jacksonville Florida which is home to several military installations one being the closest NSA Jax and Mayport Naval Station along with several Coast Guard stations and along with a submarine installation point being made up of a tremendous amount of servicemen and women that I believe will not take kindly to my treatment as servicemen and women are brothers and sisters Forge from combat and/or training they go through. I would definitely recommend staying away from this gas station / convenience store as it is not convenient at all.
