Circle K denied a roll of quarters

I shop regularly I bought 2 drinks candy etc shop there all the time 4 x a week my total today was 10.04 now since january I get rolls of quarters to do my laundry because I live in pelican perch park next store ! The gentleman running the register said we dont do that anymore cause we run out I said I shop here and live next store I dont need to spend my money here either do I this is wrong ! All because no one wants to go to the bank ! And there are hundreds here in the park we walk there!

Most businesses have limited amounts of money on hand. If they are running out of change on any given day, it would make sense to not give out change. Furthermore, you are wanting employees to waste their own personal gas to drive to a bank and stock up on change... Maybe once Circle K, the Convenience Store, becomes the First United Bank of Circle K, alongside the Seventh Eleventh National Bank, these locations will have armed Brinks Drivers deliver them hundreds of dollars of quarters a day for lazy, self centered people like you.

Circle K bad customer service

Ieon sep. 4, 2014 @630am I walked into the circle k in tucson az locates on mission and drexel. My plans were to buy a money order. However, I was unaware that money order purchase were only cash only. Well asked for the money order and the cashier who was an older lady I would have to say mid 30s. Informed me about the price and then clearly stated its cash only. I than looked at her and asked in a confused voice "why is that?" and she replied " thats why they call it a money order! Other wise it would be called a debt or credit card order!" now I dont know if you train your staff to answer like this. However, I found it very unprofessional. You know she could of explained it to me why ots done that way. I walked out. Of that store feeling like I did something wrong. I just hope this is address and explain why its important to answer customers questions in a more professional manner

I don't see that she did anything wrong... You asked a question that is common sense so she answered it in a way that she felt you would understand.
If someone asked me a question like that, I would have sounded like I was being sarcastic since I too would not have understood why you asked such an obviously answered question.

Circle K poor management

I worked for circle k for over a year as a manager. The market manager that is in place in this market is one of the most illiterate, uneducated, and back wood raised individuals I have ever met in my life. She will tell you not to hire more than 2 black people because if you have more they will " steal you blind, i've seen it before". She doesn't want you to hire people that don't have all their teeth, tattoos, or have their nails done because they are not hard workers. Her words not mine. I have see here drink at lunch and then get in the company car to go to another store. She will bend the rules to fit her and feels like she can say whatever she can and no one can say anything about it. This was one of the most stressful experiences I have ever had. I ended up in the hospital over this and my staff was more worried about me than she was. I don't totally blame the company but they have a huge problem that they are trying to hide. She is a horrible user, liar and in a position that she does not have the ability to do.

there is a circle k in ohio on corner of route 57 and 585 u know if that store needs a GOOD manager i'm the one i show them how its done and how to keep stocked and in stock and not to get rid of good selling items.thats that stores problem bad management nothing is kept in stock and it takes a month or more before its back in stock.who ever owns that store can not be making any money that way.u know how many people i seen walk out of that store mad because they have to go another 12 miles out of there way to get maybe one or 2 items?well i will tell u what either turn it into a straight gas station or shut it down because its sitting there wasting space for people who know how to run a business .no wait they have ran out of diesel fuel now what gas station runs out of diesel fuel.either the owners don't have money to buy more items to keep in stock or they simply don't know what the hell they're doing and have no business owning a business.

Circle K poor customer service and rudeness

At about 12:10 in Bushnell Florida at the circle k I walked in and the cashier there whom name is Crystal was very rude. I walked up to the counter to pay for the three drinks I had and she seem to be very angry about something. So as I was there no one was at the serving station of the food so I asked if she would get me some food and she replied "sure" in a nice tone. After fixing thwthe food she tried handing me the food by the food station and I asked her to bring it down to the counter because I was ready to cash out and she replied "You do know that you are suppose to carry your food down to the counter in an angry voice as if she was mad because I asked her to bring it down to the paying counter. So I replied, " OK well i'll ask corporate about that because That's part of customer service, " and she didn't reply. I experience poor customer service and rudeness and don't appreciate it because I'm in that store all the time and has never been treated like that by any of the fellow employees. I am employed at circle k. I dont know if people know how it feels to be on the other side of the counter. I can tell you its not all that great most of the time. Circle k employees are expected to do 12 things at same time. Short staffed stores, low pay and on top of that deal with very rude customers. Me personally ive been threatened to be beat up slapped shot etc... Just because i ask for an ID or a customers card has been declined or i refuse a sale of alcohol to a obvious intoxicated customer. I can say for myself i like to sevice customers with a positive additude, but with the conditions of the store how it is being ran or lack of, it is hard too. I just ask from ours customers for a little understanding. We are here to sevice you in your convience needs we just ask for respect and understanding.

Your circle K worker Anika forgot to lock the doors when she went to the bathroom and had customers in line when she came out, she said " I locked the door and y'all [censored]es still came in, couldn't you read the sign" I got called dumb because I wanted a polar pop.

I live in cynthiana Ky and I'm tired of circle k not giving my wave cigarettes when i know I'm to get them and they say they can't do anything about it but they know that i was due for them each time and they just keep saying they don't know why it ain't working and even gave me a new card but still same issue! This was taken at 5:21 P.M. In Ramona California. These are two employees of Circle K and although the picture may be difficult to see at this time, they are both smoking cigarettes. My highest concern is where they are smoking next to a propane tank clearly labeled FLAMMABLE VAPORS NO SMOKING WITHIN 25' this is dangerous.

Amanda is one of the most rude workers I've ever been in contact with. She has a foul mouth and awful service. It seems she is always in a bad mood also scabs all over a hand tattoo just plain gross.

Went thru the car wash and a new location in hemet ca and it ripped my trailer hitch light completely off of my car and mangled my front licence plate.

At any car wash that is self service it is the drivers responsibility to make sure the car/truck rv etc will fit . Although it is a bad situation to be in their attorneys will argue that it is your fault. (It happened to me too at the same car wash your talking about) They told me to more less to" pound sand"

I live in Tucson AZ and around 630am I went into the circle k located on mission and Drexel Asking for a money order. I didn't know that money orders were cash only. So I go in ask the cashier for a money order. She states its cash only. I look at her with a confused voice asking "why is that?" She looks at me and replies "well that's why they call it a money order! If no not they would call it a debt or credit card order!" Now i don't know if you train your cashiers to have that kind of answer? But I think that the cashier should have explained why money orders are cash only in a more professional matter.

The Employee Named James Should not be allowed to work there. For one, the word "###" should not be used regardless of how many times you've seen me. I've told him this many times but he still uses foul words with me and I would very much like him to be removed from your store. If not however, Things Will escalate! "Not a threat mind you, just saying something might happen."

Circle K horrendous customer service

I had a problem at a local store with a rude & ignorant employee. I called the customer service phone line six times and never got a live person to answer the phone. I left four messages explaining that I had a problem with a local store, and requested a return phone call. 2 weeks later and I have yet to hear from anyone in the company.. The company's greeting when you call their voice mail is... That they "value their customers"... What a joke.

Circle K rude rasict dis - respectful employee spanish lady 25 26?

Rude employee female heavy set 24-27 always rude never cleans they do not check dates on food I have pulled two boxes dated slim off shelf as they were out dated by months and handed them to lady there is only one lady who is extremely rude I am not sure of her name never gives receipts I also believe she also pockets money
I walked in today and started to buy smokes and she told me I was not allowed in store until I spoke with the manager who also does bad a horrible job! The employee is racist, sexiest, does not clean please feel free to contact me! Ariel [protected] rude comments getting others employees in trouble for her drama worst customer service ever!

you never have the chips i want and almost every month there is a sign saying your soda stuff is out of order. thats the main reason i go there but i'm think of taking my money some were diffrent. plus you fired a employee i really liked and i really hate the guy who owns the place or who the manger is.

Circle K very rude employees and living near them

The circle k at 2352 n. Alvernon has hired some horrible employees. We live next to one that stabbed their dog and lied about it and verbally abuses their other dogs and child. I was told by a neighbor that the dog was stabbed by the ex convict boyfriend that lives with her miss gracy. She is very rude at her work and if this is the kind of people you hire to live in our communities thats a horrible shame. I want her transferred or out of my community period. Thats if you care about vets and the community that has to put up with this. They recruit

Circle K going against federal law

I was hired for 3 nights a week. The manager and district manager made sure that I knew before I was hired that it was Only for nights. I was very happy because that's what I wanted. I had just had a baby and am breast feeding. Federal law states that an employer who employes more than 50 employees must supply a mother with a sanitary and private area to pump when needed, which btw you can not do on day shift because of the high volume of customers. Well, a few weeks ago I hurt my back on the big cooler door. Finally 3 weeks later they take me to the doctors and all of a sudden I have been put on day shift, which I can't work. I was told by my manager, in front of the other employees during a meeting, that I either work days or find another job. When I was hired, they made such a big deal about how I had to work nights and I told them that was exactally what I wanted, now I am being put on days when they know I can't work or pump at work. Btw, I am being made to pump in a bathroom which is against federal law as well.

Circle K cashier swapping losing lottery tickets for winning ones.

Well this is the second time this has happend to me on the 3rd shift by the same guy.. The first time I gave him my tickets and he did some kind of exchange for less money than wat was won. I didnt think nothing of it due to me buying snack merchandise as well, thinking maybe what I bought took up the other money left in change.. Well today I went in with a five, and two dollar winning tickets. He than got one by one and to exchange one of the two tickets for a losing one. He did this by grabbing them to were his hand was hidden from my view to exchange the winning ticket and then made it seem as if I gave him a losing ticket. Thers should be nopenalties withheld to this guy.

Circle K boss yells at me and says I don't do my job

When any of my coworkers ask me to do something there rood about it, yell at me in front of customers. Mark was rood to a customer because he need it an exchange I asked f he didn't think that was rood . He got offended and told me dat if I didn't want to be on his team because I thought he was rood it's ###. I told him I would contact a store manager f he talked to me like that again! He said " I feel threaten Now don't get your feelings hurt "' . I couldn't pay for daycare on Sunday so I had to call in well my boss called me yelling at me this morning because he need it to know if I'm gonna be able to work this weekend! When I got to work this afternoon like always I ask what they need me to do I couldn't do it then coworker got mad at me and put her closed sigh up and said"" well you stay here and yelled that I don't do my job I told my boss and he yelled at me like if I was a little kid! I can't work with him please help me I don't want to quit I can't I just want to be able to work at an other store! I forgot to say that he even apologized because no one ever trained me they just assumed I new every thing.

Just wondering how the public feels about a manager posting stuff like this on facebook

I just dont understand... If you are poor and getting foodstamps.. Etc.. How can you just walk into your job and say I quit its not for me! I'm sure tour caseworker feels the same somedays and would like the info were to lazy to earn our living..

Lost a phone at circle k employer who I tried to get her name wouldn't give me it however the employer text from that phone that invaded the owners privacy I am the girlfriend of the owner phone ..as an employee she should of not text from it to use it yo contact me with whatever situation me and him are in Cruz we were fighting..

the management is bad to its employees then the employees do the same to the customers . its all a viscious cycle. i dont blame them because i have done quite a few beer heists in my time. its just an obnoxious place to bpatronize

Circle K manager harrasment and retaiiation

I worked for circle k for 3 months during that time it took everything in me not to quit. Things got really out of hand and I finally decided to call my managers boss. I told him of he issues I had and what was going on in that store. After doing so, things only got worst for me. The mgr. Began to retaliate against me. She change my schedule, she made threats about my job. She actually wrote me up for petty bull. I callled in sick with a mirgraine and she told me her boss said take a pill and come to work. She had no respect for herself or customers or other workers she discriminated against me as I was the only person there of a certain race and others were of the same race. She did not have a problem using profanity with employees and in front of customers. She ma know her job but she is not management material. It is time soomeone investigates this company and there actions since the bosses don't care. Discrimination and retailiation is against the law but the company does not seem.to.care. nothing hhas been done at this store and I have quit . I have tried to contact the mage. As well as her boss but can not get them to reply.

I agree 100%. Circle K does not care about its employees. They will use you up and spit you out. You have to kiss butt to get anywhere. I had an excellent manager and worked at Circle K for about 4 years. They wanted me to be assistant manager but only offered a .25 an hour raise for all the headaches. It was not worth it for me. I quit and never regretted it. I had one manager who would not answer her phone on the weekend and when she hired young people she would make comments like " I need to bring some clowns in to entertain them." I told her many times that if my relief did not show up on Sat and Sun that I would lock the store and leave. I got robbed and fired one time and was told that the video showed the person had a weapon rolled up in newspaper, but I was fired for not protecting the store's property. I did fight it and won my job back.

Circle K robberies

These places get robbed easily. Why don't they install those windows for the night associates so they can keep the doors looked so no one comes inside. One on Coursey Blvd. just got robbed Jan. 1st. This is a very simple solution and may save lives of someone just trying to work and make a living. It could also save the company a lawsuit. Please install these windows. to better protect these people. Not to mention they have on person on sift at night. That's just crazy and unsafe.

Circle K rude

I go used to this Circle K often because of convenience but 99% of the time I go there the clerks either have a friend there chatting them up or are on the phone and refuse to say a word to the customers. This is the case with all but two of the employees. One, I believe, is named Ashley and I think she is the manager and the other is a redhead who recently started. All of the other employees are rude and ignore the customers. I now avoid this store.

In addition: hand your money to the clerk don't throw or "sit " it on the counter..now that's RUDE! Everyone do not play lottery so if you do KNOW what you are playing. And if you don't then educate yourself before going to ANY gas station to play..don't assume that the clerk knows all about lottery..because most don't!

It's funny how people jus spend their everyday whining about how they were treated.. There is soo much more to whine about in the world than a freakin gas station. Food for thought for you whiners to make your experience much easier. Respect is earned! If you go in with a nasty attitude nine times out of ten that's what you shall receive. I was born in 1977 and back the then customers were always right..that is NOT the case in 2013. People it is NOT our job to look to see what pump number you are on..It's YOURS! If you smoke cigarettes quit ### if the price go up..we don't want to hear it..in the end you are still going to pay for it. Technology is of today and the future..and sometimes they malfunction so suck it up! We deal with hundreds of customers a day and 75% of CUSTOMERS come in belittling clerks. I personally see it off and on the clock. And complaining is doing absolutely nothing...do you know how many call corporate call centers Especially Gas stations and food industries? They listen to you whine and move right on. Regardless if you go thru those doors or not they are STILL operating a business. Happy Whining!😜

Circle K hiring

I had put in an application, probably three weeks ago? I went in, submitted my background test and took the personal store test. I passed both, very well seeing i had a spotless record. They never called me, when ever I went in to talk to the manager or called, they said we aren't hiring right now.. So i repeatedly gave him my phone number and asked him to call the an opening opened up.. I found out today that he hired someone (same day they put in their application) without even giving me and interview when everything for my application had been processed WEEKS ago. How is that even fair? I have been without a job for seven months. I'm barely making it. I have to depend on the government for my food. I couldn't even get an interview. Wow. My respect for circle k.. totally gone. I'm done and I'm telling everyone I know not to go there.

I was just told that it is corporate policy to not hire anyone who had previously worked for them! Why on earth not?
I worked about a year for them in 92-93 and then again for some time after they became Stax, same location and yet despite the interviewer on Saturday telling me she would see nothing wrong with hiring me, seemed to have been doing a sad job of lying right to me when she said she didn't know that was their policy.
It might have not been a whole lot, but they will see no more of my money anymore.

Circle K bad treatment to employees

Circle k sucks they don't care about their employees at all. I was having an incident with a dm that was treating everyone like ### so I went to the regional operations manager and they flipped the whole thing on me and said I was the bad one. That dm tried to write me up and I have never been written up in the 4 years i've been with the company so I refused it. We had a sit down and they couldn't care less what I had to say since that particular dm had been with the company for 20 years or so... Now I got transferred to the south side locations which I requested and got after they made me stay in the district I asked to get out of and at this store the store manager screamed at me for something his favorite person he transferred with him didn't do. He was yelling at me and put his hands in my face and when I told him to take his hands outta my face he told me "he could do what ever her wanted to do". Now weeks later another incident occurred he is constantly picking at me for dumb things. He tries to say company policy is this and that but then takes the ucp donation money and puts it in the register and takes home beer... I bet that aint company policy. I'm tired of this ### ### company and if it was for me having trouble in this economy finding another job I would have been out the door. Someone has to do something about poor treatment to employees at circle k.

The problem is they don't care at all when it comes to employee concerns. When it comes to a customer, they hound you like tomorrow. I worked for Circle K for two years and counting. I've dealt with unfair treatment, verbal abuse, harrassment, and descrimination. Those are all big words to say against a company but when you got your facts straight and experienced it first hand you still can't win. It's byfar the WORST company I've ever worked for. I'm only working there till something better comes along then my manager is gonna get the f*** FU on the day I leave the company.

Circle K terrible to employes

the employes at circle k get treated like dogs. They do not pay well and if you want a raise don't expect more than a 15cent raise. the company wont pay for uniform shirts, they wont even give their employes a fountain soda that costs 75 cents . they make them work everyday of the year all year most holidays are payed normal wage as well as sundays. hours their are spread out thin and most employes are made to work alone during busy times of the day without any support they must run an entire store by themselves. they are subjected to unfair mystery shops. the people that are head of the corporate offices are bumbling idiots who don't know their ### from their elbow. employes may not have an over time. and on top of that the benefits are absolutely terrible. in my opinion the people who run corporate are terrible people as well as terrible managers who care nothing for their employes. they demand everything from them but never show them anything in return.

Circle K hostile work enviroment

Its so many things about Circle K, For one they do not care about their workers.Ive been there for five years plus I help run some of their high volume stores. I tried to go with the flow but I'm steady being put down walk over and I've done had enough, don't know one deserve to be treated that way. My boss recently quit and market manager was demoted for what reason I don't know but they bring in a market manager so hung up on her power that she abuses the leverage (Micro-Manager) is what she called. She brags about how she started at 3rd shift and promoted to store manager in 3 months (Impossible unless). Its a lot of favoritism in this company either you with the program or you get kick off the program or harassed to you quit. one thing I'm not is a quit-er. The new market manager told me that i wasn't worthy or even qualified to be a MIT (Manager in Training), even tho I've been there for five years plus I've trained store managers and help run good stores with great audits beside that they hire people of the street for that position. Since my boss left the store they given me hell really never took the time out to know me just judging me off of whatever and I'm a good employee never stole anything do what I'm told and still get bad end of a situation, why ? what did I do to get this type of treatment? We had a meeting and I was signal out . This lady had the nerves to ask me to quit and i said I'm not a quit-er after this convo things change my hours change, threatened to be fired more double standards which its okay for this person to do it but if I do it I'm fired, Even denied my right to go to the Doctor about my Pink eye. I called four hours before my shift and said I would bring a Doctor excuses and that wasn't enough was told if i didn't show up I would be fired, ( so unethical), then sent to another store and got suspended for at first a 80 dollar shortage which was the store manager fault because he shut the shift down wrong but money come back next day so now suspended cause I've went to work 3rd shift doing the store manager a favor and cleaned this nasty store up I've mean walls, restrooms, garbage cans outside, inside face and front, stocked all supplies, and mop several times in a very hot store, I admit I was tired, sleepy and hot and I fail to do the cooler, now this was my first time working over night at this store so I didn't know I was supposed to do the cooler and leave the doors open while I'm in a cooler (very dangerous at 3.00 in the mourning), but like I said they don't care about the lives of their employees. What do you do when you steady being push to the wall. I might get fired for writing this so I'm going to keep a copy of it and get EEOC involved for harassment and creating a hostile work environment .
