WARNING: Cinechest charged me without permission after free trial - SCAM ALERT
So, I tried out Cinechest for their 5-day free trial and it was pretty cool. I was able to watch a bunch of movies and TV shows without any issues. However, after the trial ended, they charged my credit card $49.95 without my permission! I was so mad because I never signed up for anything and they just took my money like a bunch of thieves. I've been trying to get in touch with them to get my money back, but they haven't responded to any of my messages. It's really frustrating and I don't recommend using this service. They're just a bunch of scammers trying to take your money.
Scam Alert: Cinechest Streaming Service Charges $49.99 Monthly Recurring Fee
So, I was looking for a new streaming service and came across Cinechest. They offered a free 5 day trial, which sounded great. But when I signed up, they asked for my credit card info, saying it was just to know which country I'm from. Next thing I know, I'm being charged $49.99! And get this, it's a monthly recurring charge! What a scam!
But it gets worse. When I tried to cancel the service, they charged me $1 and refused to give me a refund. Talk about shady business practices.
And don't even get me started on their movie selection. Most of them are old or unheard of. I mean, who wants to watch movies that no one's ever heard of?
Save yourself the trouble and avoid Cinechest at all costs. Trust me, it's not worth your time or money.

Trial scam
CineChest.com give a 5days trial to test the service but never talk about the fee after trail finishes. They charge automatically $49.99! I never saw a movie because all of them are really old maybe because they don't pay copyrights for them. Stay away!
Hi wanting to know why $69.95 have been taken out of my bank for this CineChest.com. I do not appreciate money being taken out of my bank unless I have authorised. What is this website and why is money being taken out? Please contact me on my email. myradaniels_9588@yahoo.com.au
Can I get a nz number for these clowns...please someone. $79 they took from me which is food from my babies mouths...please someone help!
I was also scammed by this website "cinechest.com". After seeing an advertisement on the internet about a better alternative to cable or satellite TV, I signed up for a free 5 day trial offer. I was led to believe that if I did not wish to continue after the initial 5 days, it would automatically cancel. When I reviewed the movies being offered I soon found out that they were all old and not anything like what was being advertised. I never did watch any of the movies during the 5 day trial offer. When a charge of $49.95 US showed up on my credit card I investigated and found out about this scam. My credit card company advised that the charge would be reversed and would be reported to their Fraud Department for further follow up.
i have received my bank statement and noticed an amount of 44.84€ has been taken out of my account something i know nothing about so i would like a refund asap as i have been scammed thankyou my contact details [protected] please contact me about this error thankyou
I have had money debited from my account for a service i do not use. I would like to know how to cancel my subscription to cinechest asap
Yes i have fallen into this as well, i sign up on the date then cancel it on the same day, and now I have been charge $49.95 US, I now have to cancel my credit card to stop them taking this off my credit card account. Why is there not someone out there removing this website from the internet.
I never subscribed to cinechest .com and I was charged 49$! I want my money back! This is really crooked!
I also got bitten by this site. I went for 5 day trial, but computer, when haywire and i could not cancel. So credit card was charge for a month service. I when to site today, after chatting and trying to convince a person call Myra. She said that membership was cancel and a refund was going to be issue in about fifteen days. But taken no chance, i call my credit card company and had it cancel. This way no new charges can be made.
I was charged four months of $50 in roll without noticing. that's $200 I can donate to Wikipedia. Their site only contains really old movies and I was told that my membership was valid until 17th of June, 2015 and I tried to look through the library hoping to find anything of interest. But NOTHING! Never heard of those. I vaguely recall searching for something old movie and ended up in the turmoil. And I do no recall receiving any emails after the trial period ended nor did I receive a receipt for the charges placed on my card either. I immediately phoned the number on the website and cancelled my subscription. What a costly lesson! I want in if there is a legal prosecution against the spam website!
i was shocked to find a $49.95 charge on my credit card bill this month for something called CineChest. I called the phone number shown on my bill and after a long tree of menu options I was finally able to talk to a rep and he cancelled my account (I hope they follow through). He told me I signed up for it 4 months ago and he told me the password I created. Sure enough it sounded like a password I would have created. I vaguely recall trying to find a certain Seinfeld episode at Project Free TV and think I was re-directed to CineChest from there. But I sure as hell don't remember giving them my credit card info or being aware I was donating $50 a month to them after a 5-day free trial. I do remember the Seinfeld episode never downloaded, the icon just spun for 15 minutes, and I gave up trying. Four months later and voila! I have given away $200 for absolutely nothing in return. The automated recording on their phone menu tree states repeatedly that no refunds are given. If there is ever a class action lawsuits against these crooks, I want in.
