They have charged $12.95 a month out of my checking account for the past two months. I DON'T WANT A CREDIT REPORT SERVICE! Just looked into free credit report to see what was entailed, and all of the sudden they are taking out money every month. Don't need it..don't want it. How do we get rid of them?

I found a charge as well. I called [protected] and I spoke to a living person. He said I signed up for a one month "free" trial but I did not. He was friendly and cancelled it. I guess i'll have to wait until next month to see if the charges stop.

I'm trying to cancel myself. Went to their website and it will not open. This is totally missed up for a company not to comply and still get money out of customers accounts...this needs to stop

I signed up for freecreditreport.com in November 2007. I called on December 5th to cancel this. I was told it would be cancelled, and I wouldn't be charged anymore. Well, a few weeks ago, my husband asked me if I knew what this charge was that was coming out of our bank account. I said I didn't know...After a little research, I found out what "CIC triple advantage" was. I called freecreditreport today and they told me they had no record of me calling, and they can't credit me for these past 4 months. This is a scam, and I have spread the word to all my friends not to use this company!

make sure you cancel your bank card or it will never stop and also they can sell your card number to somebody else. my bank told me this. they got me for $14.95 this morning. you can go to your bank and file a dispute claim form and your bank will investigate this and you possobly get your money credited back to you

the same thing just happened to me. i just noticed a charge of $14.95 on my statement today. i called and they said i didn't cancel free trial in time. I just had my bank card stopped immediately. bank says they would probably sell card number to other crooked places like this one. these people need to be stopped

I totally agree, I started seeing a charge of 14.95 from CIC CE Credit Report about three months ago, I have been searching the for website that this was set up thru and just got off the phone with them This is such a scam, I beleived that I was receiving my free credit report as offfered by the goverment once a year for free. The operator told me they are not affiliated with this program but they are with Experian Credit, I wanted my membership that I did not aurthorize canceled and I wanted to refund on the funds taken from me with out my permission they informed me that this is all disclosed on the website and they can not give refunds. I think everyone should get together and sue these people this is so unfair, I told them I would be contacting the better business bur if I see this charge again.

I'm so upset. This is the third month they have taken 12.95 from my account. Thanks for the number I'm trying to cancel now, this is so wrong. A total scam! By the way the # is [protected], but I've been on hold for ever! Good luck.

I feel there should be a class action suit against this company to get the money back. I wish I knew where to actually start when filing a class action suit against a company.

I have been billed 12.95 for 6 months for for the service. I understood that it was a free trial credit report, then I noticed it was being charged to my credit card. I called the Credit Card company and they connected me to the CICTriple Advantage Co. I told them I wanted to cancel, and I wanted nothing more to do with their company. I got billed again this past month which si the 6th month, I had notified them in November, and I got an email saying their last charge would be December 31st, 2007. So they got $ 77 from me for nothing but what I thought was a free credit report. Something should be done so that they cannot do this to people. I am on a limited income so every dollar is important to me. Please try to do something to stop this problem.
Thanks,

These charges are due to the "membership fee". Be careful when you do the free credit report becuase if you do not call to cancel your account in the first 30 days of signing up for your "free" credit report you are going to be charged $14.95 a month, without them billing you! They claim it is on the first page of the credit report page. Be careful! Go to freecreditreport.com, get the contact number, and cancel your account ASAP!

These guys are crooks! How can they get away with this garbage? Can you imagine if you're overdrawn because of these guys? Will the bank refund you overdraft charges? No! Will the company give you a refund? Not without fighting tooth and nail. These guys need to be stopped and removed from the internet. Who knows what they are doing with our credit.

I took a look at my "free" credit report and then started getting charges on my debit card. I can't find any way to get rid of the charges or find out what benefits I am supposed to be getting for my $12.95 per month. Does anyone know the website address?

Thank you for the number. I called and cancelled. Just so others know they will try to convince you that since you already payed for the month that you should just use the services they provide. I think i said "No thank you, i would just like to cancel now" six or seven times during that phone call. Good luck to the rest of you.

This is the most ridiculous scam I have ever experienced. I had to receive a credit report because of identity theft and never new that I was getting into this. I had to google to see what triple advatange was. The first link that came up was this one...what does that have to say about freecreditreport.com? I think that if I signed up for something I would know what I was paying for. The things people do to take your money is absolutely insane.

I was just checking my account and of course balance was not what it suppose to be so I just thought that the bank just added wrong (not) becuase it was saying that I had less but wasnt showing what was took out so I call the bank and they tell me that there was 12.95 took for a credit report and what was so bad I havent even gotten a report so yes these folks got the wrong one I want my money back and if they take anymore money Im going to slap a suit on them, Ive read some of the comments that you all say that they say when you call them well Im calling them tomorrow and they best not tell me that they are going to keep taking my money.

I also got ripped off on a 30 day trial at www.freecreditreport.com. We called and cancelled before the 30 days and got charged anyway. I called and complained they said we had NOT called to cancel and that they would be charging us anyway. PERIOD!

The US Attorney General needs to intervene with this company!

If you want your money back you need to call them and tell them about the situation. Of course you must remember that you will be talking to an idiot. I told the girl that I was wondering why I was charged for services I did not receive. I said I had got no email, phone call, or posted mail informing me of expiration, access or billing. Call this number

[protected]. Save your self and get your money back. Make sure to tell all your friend s and family.

Hope this helps!
