Church's Chicken time management and service

I am currently in the Drive-Thru of a Church's Chicken on Redondo Beach in Gardena California I have been in this line for 20 minutes and I still have not gotten to the menu to place my order this line is only 5 cars in the drive thru and I'm still waiting to place my order. This is ridiculous! The waiting time here is always extensive. I am immobile to go inside so i have no choice but to wait at the drive through.

Church's Chicken not all of my order in the bag.

December 5, 2016, 6:50:02 PM Or#83, Store #10655
I know it is my job to double check my order before driving off, however, it would have been nice to have a complete order! Please ask the servers to make sure all items are included in the bag. I am not a complainer, however, this is the third and final time I have gotten home with missing items. Thank you. Willa

Every time I go in this particular Church's Chicken the manager is always in the back. She walk around showing no concern or gets in a hurry to wait on me and other customers. She's a dark skin lady with glasses the drive thru is ridiculous. Its not much in this little town to eat as it is. I'm a loyal customers to Church but if something isn't done about her I will stop going by. She be in the store talking about other employees with other coworkers that's not nice all. Why does she have her ear piece in at work ?

You went to the wrong one. Go to the White Castle/Church's in Roseville, MI (a short ride for you). Always excellent service and freshly fried chicken, unsurpassed, every time. Their fried okra is to die for.

Church's Chicken the lady working drive through

The lady working the drive-thou window in the Sand Springs Oklahoma store Church's. Was so rude and nasty how about four of her children up there who are in their teens. Her giving products to without letting them pay? The mother of these children that were acting unruly she was encouraging their behavior? She was trying to encourage her son to fight a young man outside the store? Just very unprofessional I even heard her say she's on a work release program? And she was screaming at the kid in the kitchen the cook calling him bad names the store just look very unprofessional because of her.

Church's Chicken poor customer service; closed drive thru early

Tonight, at 903 pm, on 8/17/2016, I went to Church's Chicken in Santa Fe, Texas to place a family order. I pulled up to the drive thru speaker waiting to place my order. I waited, and I waited, for approximately 7-10 minutes. I finally assumed that the drive thru speaker must not be working correctly again. (I had been there before once when the speaker did not work and noone bothered putting up a sign stating that the speaker was out, and another time when I was told that they were "out of chicken" until tomorrow!) I previously opted out of making any complaints whatsoever on these other, past incidents, however, tonight was beyond irritating. Therefore, I am now making a formal complaint in the hopes that this and any other such similar incidents are remedied. This is by far Customer Service at an all time low.

So, after sitting at the speaker awaiting to hear some voice, then assuming the speaker did not work, I pulled forward to the window and sat patiently for a few minutes. There was a girl inside sweeping, or perhaps mopping the restaurant section. She did not look up for a few minutes, then when she did, she returned her head down and continued cleaning up the floor. I then decided to honk my horn to get her attention, uncertain if there were any other workers present, as I did not see anyone else. I could hear music playing very loudly. I honked again and again. Finally the girl cleaning the floor said something to someone out of my view and someone finally came to the window. When the woman opened the window, I politely asked if the speaker was out again and explained that i had been sitting out there waiting on service for the past 10 or more minutes. Her response is what really set me off. She said, "Oh, I turned it off because we will be closing soon." I looked at the clock in the car that said 923pm, looked at the store hours sticker on the window that said they closed at 930pm, looked at the clock in the car again, and stated that it wasn't 930pm yet, and that I had been sitting there for a while already. I was not about to get into a verbal confrontation and/or argument over this, so I simply asked what food they still had remaining. She told me what they had, which was only legs, thighs, mashed potatoes, and mac-n-cheese. And with my order I would also get a 1/2 gallon of sweet tea. I said, "fine, plz just give me whatever you have left." I paid, got my food, and left.

Church's Chicken has always been one of my favorite chicken places to eat, however, this one in Santa Fe, Texas is rediculous when it comes to running a business. What sort of restaurant (specifically a chicken place) runs out of thier specialty food, in the middle of the day, mind you. I understand that sometimes food trucks and beverage companies get behind schedule as well, but shouldn't there be enough of a supply (frozen or otherwise) to run a business, to accommodate for such incidents?!? And if they do run out of thier ONLY meat, should they not go ahead and close for the day, with an apology on the doors and windows and drive thru speaker? What is the point of being open if there is no food to cook and serve? Would it be too difficult to take a piece of paper and tape it to the drive thru speaker simply stating that the speaker is temporarily out of service, please pull forward to the window to place your order. Is courtesy just asking too much these days?

Santa Fe is not a big town, and that particular day, amongst other issues/complaints from other people on other days, have been gossiped about in this town. Word of mouth in a small town is by far the best way to win or lose business. I have worked in the restaurant business for many years. I went from hostessing to becoming an executive administrator in a high class restaurant. I do understand that things happen that are beyond our control that inevitably delay business and/or cause problems. I remember I had this one boss that when the food delivery trucks didn't show up on time (due to flooding, which is noone's fault), he sent one of our cooks to the grocery store to purchase a list of supplies. He had me type up a sign at the door, apologizing for the inconvenience, and explaining the situation and that for the day, our customers would be limited to what they would be able to order. No offense taken if they felt the need to take their business elsewhere. That is good business etiquette. Tonights issues at Church's Chicken is just plain laziness and over zealousy to get the restaurant closed for the night. I am empathetic to those that work long hours and only make minimum wage, or slightly higher. It makes it very difficult to appreciate your job when you feel under appreciated and under valued. However, this is the job that these people have chosen to have and/or keep, and should therefore do their very best to be the best that they can. A restaurant, or any business for that matter, cannot and will not ever survive with poor customer service, a lack of product, and an insufficient amount of ethicity. I firmly believe that this particular business has been around all these years because it did/does have all these things. However, if more locations run business such as this one, Church's will not be around too much longer.

I do not know the names of the two females working there tonight, but as a long time successful business chain, I felt that I should address my problem with this evenings event. I am not so disappointed that I will never return to this particular location again, however, I am disappointed enough that it will be a good while. I hope that someone addresses this issue immediately. In no way do I believe these girls should be fired, however, some good customer service training and a reprimand should suffice. Thank you for taking the time to read this complaint, and thanks in advance for addressing and fixing this problem.

9:23, and they close at 9:30...what exactly do you think you were going to order? Why do people insist on going to food places right before closing then complain that they did not get what they wanted to eat?

Church's Chicken chicken was old and tainted and not fit to eat

08/16/2016
12:00 Noon Central time.
Northside Drive Location
Jackson, MS 39213
I purchased a large box of chicken with Okra and Mashed Potatoes as sides. upon arriving back at my job to have my lunch, I bit into the thigh of the chicken and couldn't help but to smell the odor. The meat of the chicken we brown, this should be white meat. This is the third time I have purchased chicken at lunch time and the meat was tainted. I thought that by this being lunch time the chicken would be fresh.
07/9/16
Churches Chicken Location at Hwy 18, I purchased the family pack with two sides and a large drink. This chicken is old and tainted. I called and reported this and never heard back from them. This occurs often, there is no need for you all to serve old chicken. I use to patronize your business often and bragged on the quality of your food. But you all need to go and inspect these locations. There are a lot of people dissatisfied with the service. I always praise your chicken to others especially out of town guest. I would like to for them to replace my order with the best chicken in the house.

Church's Chicken overcharging me and failure to give a refund

On 08-06-2016 at 4:25PM, I walked into the Churchs Chicken located on 4600 Sycamore School Road in Fort Worth, TX 76133 to place an order. It was for a ten-piece, mixed, spicey, to go order. I was told the order would be $10.89. I was asked to pay and attempted to swipe my card. There was something obstructing me doing this so the cashier asked for my card to swipe my purchase. After this was done, I asked for my debit card to be returned to me. The cashier #1, station id 11, handed me back my card. I asked her for my receipt. She told me that they do not give a receipt and that I would have to wait until my order was filled and I would get my receipt then. After this, I sat down in the dining area. After about 7 minutes I walked back up to the order station to get my order since I had noticed that there appeared to be large batches of regular and spicey already fried. The same cashier told me that it would be $12.34 and I could have my order. I then gave to her a $20. bill to pay for my order. I received change from my $20. After this, I left town to go to neighboring Dallas to visit my family. When I returned back to Fort Worth, I reviewed my Churchs receipt from Saturday, 8-6-2016 and realized that my card had been debited for $11.90. I need my $12.34 refunded to me along with the .12 cents since I paid this in cash and was overcharged on my debit card.

Church's Chicken white meat meal

I went to Church's chicken today because I wanted their fish meal. My boss wanted a two piece white meat meal. They don't have it and the woman at the counter didn't even try to be helpful. Because of this, I will go elsewhere next time I want fish. Church's has lost my business. It is unbelievable that a chicken place does not offer a 2 piece white meat meal; it is beyond ridiculous.

No chicken place that I ever ate at has a two piece white meal. It is usually a two piece dark, or you can get a breast instead and pay extra for the other piece. However, i just looked up their menu online and nowhere on it does it offer a white meat meal, so being told they do not offer it is not a bad thing. Just ask if you can pay extra for the white meat.

Church's Chicken chicken wings

Around 5:30 on June 13 I went to the Church's on 19th Street near Park Lake Drive in Waco. I ordered the boneless chicken wings and mashed potatoes at the drive thru. After I got through the drive thru I decided to go back through and get more chicken wings because I was very hungry. Now I had 9 wings. I pulled over in the parking lot and started eating. The wings were bite-sized so I just was popping them in my mouth and eating them. I noticed they tasted funny and were to chewy but I kept eating because I was so hungry. Finally on the last wing I decided to bite it in half and take a look. The chicken meat was raw! I had eaten 8 and 1/2 raw chicken wings. I took the last wing into the store and showed it to the workers. One worker calmly said to the other - "You didn't set the timer right". Then they continued helping the other customers and filling orders. I stood there for a minute to see if they were going to offer my money back, but I couldn't stand there long because I'm disabled. The workers didn't speak to me any more so I went to me car and waited there a couple of minutes. They never came out so I left then.

Church's Chicken fried chicken wrong orders

Used to love Churches Chicken but they stopped selling the so called white meat. I love the dark juicy parts like the leg and thigh. But my wife likes the wing and the breast most of all. But lately when we order white meat and then open the bag or box when we get all legs and thighs like for a ten pieces order with split fives of Dark and white. We get five thighs and five legs. So either the parts have change categories in name, or the manager is one that says to his help "I pay you minimum wage so do as I say not as the buyer orders " or he uses his own children who are getting back at him for some reason by ruining his sales. It can't that the reason is dummies at the service counter don't know what a chicken part is but they only know what a "chicken strip" is and gets confused when an order comes in for dark and or white meat. Well now it's churches before it was KFC, and once was Popeye's. I wonder what they have in common? We now go to the Grocer store where there is older people like ourselves who now chicken parts " an art that is disappearing"

Church's Chicken behavior

On Sunday after 5:00 pm I went and bought a 9 piece chicken meal. There was a lot of people in line and I saw that the manager who is a tall bald man was rude to them because he was yelling at them and I noticed that they were nervous and intimidated. He should not be disrespectful to the employees. He needs to know how to treat people because it seems that he thinks he can do whatever he wants.

Church's Chicken behavior and food service

Last sunday I went around 1:30 and purchased a 2 piece combo with mash potatoes. I did not receive a spoon and any napkins with my order. Also the manager who is a tall bald man was yelling at the employees. He was raging and it looked like he was going to one of the employees. There is no need for the manager to be yelling at them that way it is against the law.

Church's Chicken food service

Last friday I went around 7:00 pm and ordered 10 wings and mash potatoes and I took more than 20 minutes to receive my order. I noticed that there was not enough workers. They should get more workers to provide better service because there is a requirement for the amount of employees that should be working. The workers were also in a hurry when they were preparing orders.

Church's Chicken not enough workers

Yesterday around 12:30 I went and bought a meal of 4 tenders with fries and I took 20 minutes to receive my order. I noticed that there was a little bit of employees one person cooking, one person packing and a tall bald man. The bald man had a bad attitude and was disrespectful because he was yelling at the workers which is uncalled for. There should be more workers available in order to distribute the orders quicker especially when there are a lot of customers. Also when I got home and opened the bag, there wasn't any sauce for my tenders.

Church's Chicken church's chicken chiefland, florida

Today [protected]) @ or about 2:15pm, I (Bernard Gray) purchased a 4 piece tenders and fries from the churchs store in Chiefland, Florida. While eating my food after leaving, I discovered chewing gum (chewed) in the inside bottom of my food box. I turned around to present this issue to the store manager. I went in and asked a employee for the head manager. Then some short manager employee lady showed up and I began to discuss the matter with her. She quickly began to say no one was chewing gum in her store and she knew that. I stated that you can't possibly account for every second every employee does in this organization because I wasn't chewing gum and it's in my food. She she stated that I could have a fresh box of chicken but no refund. I told her I don't want a refund, I just wanted my money back. She began to get loud, began using profanity, and screaming get the f*** out of my store. I told her I was a playing customer and I wasn't going anywhere until I got my money back. She kept using profanity and by this time I'm yelling and screaming at her. Then I guess the main manager walks up and another employee whispers something in his ear and he quietly gives me my money back. This type of treatment to customers (especially African Americans in a superior White little town) should not be tolerated. We are paying customers that pay our money for service based upon the Churchs Chicken brand name with the promise of offering customer the best satisfied fair service. Is that how you guys conduct business. So many customers witness this issue and left due to the nature of the situation. Chiefland, Florida needs to be investigated for how they conduct their day to day operations...as a whole.
