Not only do they call my home more than 5 times a day, the have called my landlord (using a reverse address locator), they have called my Fiance's work after one (ONE) phone call. Our cell phones were shut off. They would call our home phone, our cell phones, our landlords number (he is listed ~ same address) and now they have even added my elderly parents number.
We have sent them numerous emails to stop calling our cells (cost $), do not call my Fiance's work ~ she is not even on the loan and not to call the elderly parents. Spoke to over 30 agents who all say they will "update the account", "remove the number", "stop calling the landlord", more lies, more lies, more lies.

Yes, we do owe them our payments and with the current state, CHRYSLER SHOULD UNDERSTAND WHAT THEIR CUSTOMERS WHO LOST OR ARE LOSING THEIR JOBS ARE ENDURING. We cannot ask OUR goverment to BAIL US OUT!

I have contacted the California Consumer Affairs Department ~ file a complaint at www.cca.ca.gov, also the Attorney General of your state (for CA) [protected], then the Austin State Attorney General (if they are calling you from Rangers Texas) [protected]. Lastly if we submit enough complaints to the Federal Trade Commission at www.ftc.gov, they will take up a case against them.

Asking Chrysler to police themselves is useless. There like asking a theft to hold your purse. Use these other agencies to put a stop to them once and for all. If I find a reputable agency that can help folks like us with Chrysler Financial and our payments, I will post on this website

Then you could sue them. If you have asked them to stop calling, they should obey your request. I have just read an article that might be useful for you at https://www.lemberglaw.com/how-many-times-may-a-debt-collector-call-you/. Hope this helps and I hope you could get any solution for this problem ASAP.

YES YOU CAN MAKE YOUR GOVERNMENT PAY! Look up HJR-192 and Public Law Chap 10 48 48 Stat 112. Since they took the gold away in 1933 they had to give us a remedy!

This number has been calling me several times a day and even paging me on my cell phone. I don't even have an account through Chysler - It's pretty annoying.

I too have filed FTC complaints but, they will not act unless the number of complaints shows a pattern of conduct that is misleading or in violation of the law. I have recieved repeated calls regarding my payment being late. They call from day one that it is marked late until they recieve the payment. Problem is that the collection calls being recieved (I believe by 3rd party collection agencies working under the guise of the original creditor) by "Chrysler Financial" representatives is considered 1st party (original creditor) and are not subject to FDCPA regulations. I answer my phone and have my answering machine on when I am not available. I do not avoid any of their calls what so ever. I tell each representative the same thing; "when I recieve my disability check I will make my payments accordingly". Unfortunatly, all of their calls to me demanding payment today do not happen and they do not get paid any quicker by dunning me day in and day out. KEEP FILING FTC COMPLAINTS !
I just read yesterday that TD BANK has purchased CHRYSLER FINANCIAL here in the states and in CANADA. Looks like Chrysler is bailing again...

they will use any means necessary...the burden of proof is on the consumer. It is a sad state of affairs when Joe American has to fend off fraudulent claims with lawyers@ $400 hr. This Administration has fueled the financial fire by balancing their books and giving them means to pursue lost causes. This will continue for some time, and the working class can only stand so much. The American Revolution was started over a 20 cent tax per ton on tea! stay tuned working class! the Tea Party Movement will eventually circumvent greedy banks with fraudulent practices...time will tell...time will tell

I have been contacted by Chrsyler financial on many, many occassions and I do not owe them money. My husband was married 20 years ago and his ex-wife's sister used my husband's name as a family member or reference at some point. Chrysler continues to call my home asking if we can help contact my husband's ex-sister-in-law or her mother becasue she apparently owes them money. Now that we have informed them that we have not had contact with that family for 20 years, I would think that they would stop calling but it continues...

some person from Chrysler finical called me without identifying themselves or their company asking questions about who they said was a neighbor . i don't even know who it was they asked about after calling the number back to see who it was i told them not to call me about someone else again and she got ugly and told me they could call me anytime they wanted. geez makes you not want to ever buy a chrysler or deal with them. i going to send them a bill for a messenger service. still wondering how they got my number. seems like that's an invasion of privacy to call someone else about your business i have no loan with with them and have never done any type of business with them

Chrysler has done the same to us with calling family members, etc from getting numbers off our cell phone. I thought that was illegal! Who are they to call people that we didn't list on the loan papers then those people blame us. CRAZY!

I have a loan with Chrysler Financial and I have received calls from some very rude reps, but I talked to a lady by the name of Ms. Graves and she was a jewel. I began the call by yelling and cursing at her, to my surprised the sweetest most quite voice I ever heard asked if I wanted her to help me or did I want to continue to yell at her. It caught me off guard, she said the same thing that all of the other reps said, but it was now she said it. I will admit I wasn't making payments on time and I was avoiding the calls...so she told me that all I had to do was talk to them. I had gotten assistance from them before and I expected it again, I did the usual...refering to the bailout, and in that sweet voice she simply said that if everyone paid their bills there would be no need for the bailout, she then followed by saying we have helped you before and you are responsible for the contract you signed...I was so mad, but she was right! We are all mad that we receive calls, but we owe the money! For as many of us who are posting comments about the collections calls maybe there would not be need for the bailout if we all pay our car notes, I am so ashamed that so many people feel that just because the economy is bad we shouldn't have to pay for our cars. We have put the auto industry in turmoil because we go out and get these cars that we really can't afford! I will take responsibility for my own actions, but to make a long story short this young lady went to her bosses and got me approved for a 2mo ext, and I can honestly say that if I were her I wouldn't have helped me! She explained to me that if I would just talk to them the collection calls would stop, and there would be no need to call anyone except me! She also told me that if I set payments on the website I should call and advise them that the payment in online, she gave me so much info that I realize that alot of us don't take responsibility for our accounts. So FYI if you know you are going to be late call them, find out what they can do for you and lastly the car payment has to be made and if you can't make the payment be mad at yourself you signed the contract!

Thank you for posting this. My daughter and her husband just had their car repossessed last night. Chrysler!
They actually owed for the year $7, 000 but paid them $10, 000. We will follow up with the agencies that you have suggested.
