Chrysler Financial has been asked to stop calling us 8-12 times every day starting at 8:01 am 7 days a week. I also asked supervisors to stop calling my wifes work, which is against the law if I request so.

They blame all the calls on a computer dialer. No one will accept responsibility. It does NOT MATTER if you are current or 60 days late, the law forbids this harassing tactics.

If anyone out there knows how to get this to stop pls. e0-mail us.

I have received calls because I am a reference from my daughter I will get a call every day insisting my daughter pay for her car payment. She is an adult I am not a co-signer or co-applicant. but I will get harressed every day sometime twice a day.. I have been told by Chysler representive they have the right call me I cannot stop if I want them to stop I can pay her car payment for her... Why would I want to do that it is not my debt. I am thinking of starting a class action law suit of Harassment for any REFERENCES... I am thinking maybe a couple of millions might get them to quit calling me... I have soke with GAyle Meyers.. she assures me I will not get any calls ( I guess it is for 2 day) then the calls start up again ...

Sorry...now I am a ding bat. I meant to say, I informed them that the loan was through Wyandotte Federal Credit Union, not Chrysler Financial. Why did they need an updated proof of insurance? Again, sorry for the error. At least I admit my mistakes, not Chrysler Financial. They are not helpful and just plain rude!

Forgot to mention...the paperwork to purchase the vehicle was forwarded to my husband in Louisiana (where he was working for 6 months), completed and returned to the Texas office. About 2 weeks later they left a very rude message on the answering maching regarding the paperwork. I called, and again was talked to very rudely by a cutomer representative. Suggested the paperwork went to the wrong department. Low and behold it was found in the wrong place, so guess what? It had to be re-done. They were a little nicer then. Soooo, approximately 6 months after we re-financed through the credit union, we were still receiving calls regarding a new proof of insurance. And you can imagine the nasty messages left for that. Finally I got a call when I was home, and I wasn't very nice to them. I informed that the loan was through Chrysler Financial, why did they need an updated proof of insurance? Ugh, oh, ok. Sensible comment don't you think. Never again!

Leased a truck through Chrysler Financial, purchased the vehicle at the end of the lease...through Chrysler Financial, and then re-financed through Wyandotte Federal Credit Union at a MUCH, MUCH lower interest rate. That was about 8 months ago. The credit union never received the title, and Chrysler Financial doesn't care. After numerous calls regarding the title, I fianlly contacted the dealership for help. I was informed that because the paperwork was done through the mail with the office in Texas, they couldn't help, but said to check with Secretary of State to see who was listed as the lienholder. Per Secretary of State, title shows US Bank as the lienholder! Clerk said Chrysler Financial missed a step, the one regarding the title! You would think that at least one customer service representative could have gone one step further and checked into this. NO! I was instructed to go to Secretary of State and get a duplicate title. Without a discharge of lien from US Bank, I can't do that. Going to make one more phone call tomorrow and then the next call will be to "Call For Action". I will never finance a vehicle through Chrysler Financial and spread the word to everyone I know. THEY ARE A JOKE!

Been out of work since February, unemployment insurance is exhausted, no one's hiring in my area. I would love to make my car payment so I can keep my vehicle to find work, unfortunately that will not be the case, they will repossess, I will file bankruptcy, and the taxpayers will bail them out. Such is life. I certainly hope you never have to face anything like this Balooga.

If you want them to quit calling, PAY YOUR CAR PAYMENT!

Its a pretty simple concept.

I contacted Chrysler Financial while I was on vacation and spoke to a woman who had a very thick accent and I had trouble understanding her and she apparentley had trouble understanding me! When I tried to give my account number over the phone, the female customer service representative incorrectly typed in my bank account number while I tried to have my money debited from my account to pay my car note. Well two days later, I get a call from Chrysler Financial saying I was 5 days past due on my account and they wanted to know when will I be sending in my payment! Nedless to say when I contacted customer service they said that it was not their problem and that I needed to be more responsible!

Having the same issues. Due to my lack of work I have been running 1 month behind for a while now and I have never been so harassed with phone calls before! 3- 7 times per day. Even when I do answer and tell them what is going on the calls continue the next day. I recommend you avoid this finance company at all costs!

Chrysler Financial what a joke. Due to uncontrollable circumstances I am behind on my car payment 2 payments. I have advised the collection department that within a week I will be caught up. They have called me everyday 2-3 times a day 7 days per week. Each time they call I tell them the same thing. They called my work twice even after I advised them not to, as a matter of fact the rep told me she will continue calling my work if she choosed to do so. They tell me it isnt good enough and they need the payment today via western union quick collect. I told them this is the situation and there is nothing that I could do so what would you like me to do. How about you come and pick the car up since you dont want to wait and I will go and rent a car and then you will sell my car and bill me for the balance and then I will file bankrupcy and you will never get another dime because you didnt want to wait a week to get full payment. The rep didnt say anything. I explained to them that I had a death in my family and that is why I was behind they didnt care they continued to talk ### on the phone. The automative system, yes that is probably a true fact I know this because I worked with an automative system before anything you are behind the dialer will continue to call until the account is brought current. I have decided not to answer my phone anymore as a matter of fact I saved the number so now I know when they are calling. Maybe if all of us get together and file a class action lawsuit for violating credit collection practice laws they will not do this to other people the thing is no one wants to do this so they will continue to harrasse people. Or maybe if everyone writes the CEO/President of Chrysler and maybe if he takes the time to listen to the collection calls he might change things. Here is his address:

Corporate Offices
Attn: Paul Knauss
Chrysler Financial
27777 Insker Rd
Farmington Hills, MI 48334

Yes I did some research. This guy sits up in his fancy office not knowing what is going on. There are laws and Chrysler financial is violating all of them.

I finally gave up and told them to take my car back... I was SICK of the calls too. I have been one payment behind since I baught the car... due to the way my pay days are and the due date on the loan, I asked them if they could move my due date on the loan from the 5th to the 15th, so it wouldn't be late EVERY month... they said they couldn't do it, so I told them "fine, expect it to be late every single month then." My payment was due on the 5th, and by the 6th at 4pm I would be getting phone calls... I have a record of my cell phone bill and on one day they actually called my phone 12 times, my co-signers phone 7 times, my work 4 times, and my co-signers work 6 times. Thats 30 times in ONE day. I called them and said "my fiance (co-signer) CANNOT recieve calls at work. You can call my phone 800 times a day if it makes you happy, but you CANNOT call my co-signers employer. They said they would take that number off of their list and everything seemed fine... until the next day, when he started getting calls at work AGAIN. I wish there was something we could do about this! It was horrible!

Not to mention, I voluntarily GAVE them back my car and they are STILL calling me!

And as far as the customer service goes... I had a guy (can't think of his name off the top of my head, but I do have it written down) say to me "well miss Thompson, Im sorry that you are broke and can't afford your car but thats not our problem." Talk about being professional...NOT.

I will NEVER work with this company AGAIN.

I am having the same phone calls and contacted josh trigsted at [protected]. It is a firm that deals with creditor harassment cases. I have just begun on this so I don't have any progress but he did say I had a good case to sue them. I have been 1 payment behind for 2-3 years and I'm 1 payment from paying my loan off and these phone calls started evryday 2- 5 times a day. good luck on yours.
