Chrysler purchased new tires and received unacceptably poor service

Purchased new tires (incl installation, balancing and alignment) on Oct 30, 2018 at Countryside in Essex Ontario. Reference Invoice number CCCS423600 and Vin # 2D4RN4DE0AR471503 dated Oct 30, 2018. Completed online quote for tires on Oct 15, spoke to service advisor Oct 15, who advised me tires would be ordered and he would call me when they are in.
After 2 weeks I called the service advisor, who told me that he had forgotten, the tires were in. I had scheduled other maintenance (transmission flush), but I cancelled this and scheduled only the tire change for the next day.
On Oct 30 I came to dealership for the new tire installation, balancing and alignment. I told the service advisor that a rim inside the vehicle was to be substituted for a rim on the vehicle.
After 3 hours the my vehicle was ready, but upon inspection, I noticed the rim inside the vehicle was not touched, so the service advisor had the vehicle brought back in to have the correct rim installed.
Once I finally received the vehicle I noticed the tires were very dirty - since when do we give a customer a dirty set of new tires?
At home, a few days later I detailed my tires and found tire glue all over the rims and "pits" in two of the rims - made from the tire change machine. The pits are new; they were not there the week prior when I detailed the vehicle.
This is pretty shoddy service. No followup from order date, cannot follow instructions in the dealership to substitute a rim, delivery of dirty product, sloppy work resulting in glue all over rims and damaged rims.
Signed,
Disgusted Former Chrysler Executive

I purchase a 2017 Ram 2500 I have only 30, 000 Miles on the Truck and all 4 tires is already bald I get my Regular service with tire rotation, and I can't understand, on 11/12/2018 I was by the shopping center parking lot where I parked for about 45 Min just as I am walking out the store I heard a loud pop, the valve on one of my back tire popped and let all the air out. I have to stay there for over 3 hours before I could get my tire change, because the jack that come's with the truck could never lift it.

I have a Chevy Avalanche when I both it the tires I get with the truck last for close to 60, 000 Miles. I believe for the cost of this truck $74, 000.00 you should get better equipped tires, I would like to know who could I make a complaint to, for getting better tires for my truck.

Thanks

Chrysler 2016 chrysler town and country

I was driving to Cedarburg, Wisconsin last Saturday, October 27, 2018, when the transmsssion starting slipping. I drove it (it barely made it) to the Chrysler Dealer.
They gave me a loaner car because I live near Chicago and it was a Saturday afternoon.
They called me yesterday and said the transmission needed to be rebuilt. Even though it is still under the factory warranty, I was quite disturbed that the transmission would fail at 46, 000 miles. I am concerned that after supposedly the car is repaired, how long that repair will last. I purchased my first Chrysler product in 1980, and have been purchasing them ever since. Even though I have the MaxCare Extended Unlimited Warranty, I'm still disturbed at how the reliability will be after I get the vehicle back.
Just want Chrysler to know of my concerns regarding the quality of their vehicles from now on.

Chrysler customer service questionable

I purchased a 2015 jeep wrangler from dodge rose city welland. I have had to take it back to the dealership 1. They sold the vehicle to me with a hard top and the rear defog did not work nor the wiper blade they were aware of this when the customer traded it in. I know this because I spoke to the previous owner They were going to charge me for it..but i pursued the matter and they fixed it at no cost to me. 2. I complained about there was a vibration in the engine when i came to a light or a complete stop and also the gear shift light would not come on. They said they would check it when i brought the vehicle in for the wiper blade. Of course they said they did not have time to look after the other issues so i have to book another appointment to do so. When I brought my vehicle back they said they would cover the diagnostic for the gear shift but not for the vibration i was told the was not covered under my warranty I purchased this vehicle on August 30 2018. I would also like to add when i went through the paperwork I did notice the safety on the vehicle was dated July 3 2018. I purchased the vehicle on August 30 2018. Is the safety valid for only 30 days? I would like to file a major complaint against this dealership. I would also wanted to get my vehicle checked for the vibration. I was told it could be the engine mounts.The manager really should go get retrained on his customer service skills he also has a bad habit on not returning calls. They got their money for the vehicle I guess that is all that matters.
A very disappointed customer

Chrysler customer service, poor service done to car

This issue has been going on when the vehicle for over a year now. I own a 2004 chrysler crossfire red in color and the vehicle has been shutting off since august 2017 and has been taken to metroplex chrysler in dallas tx on several occasions . I was charged over $1600 in november of 2017 for this issue and the issue is still not resolved and know i am being told that the place is owned by someone else and there is nothing that can be done by them. I am also being told that i need to pay an additional $800 in order to have the issue resolved that shouldve been resolved the first time around. When i call i never get an update and have to call multiple times and have been waiting 2 weeks for my vehicle. I am without my vehicle, on fixed income and still the issue hasnt been resolved. The car doesnt shut off on the freeway but if you go to a light or idle the car it will shut off and wont come back on for about 15 minutes. The oil leak was fixed but not this issue and the dealer was advised of this issue by my daughter. At this point i have no faith in chysler and feel that this issue has gotten out of hand and i feel like all thats going on is that i keep giving away money without the issue being fixed.

Chrysler 2007 grand cherokee

So my 07 Cherokee Laredo which is up to date with oil changes, tranny service, etc. Had had the ignition module die. I took it to my local Chrysler Jeep dealer/shop & they tell me the part has been discontinued & could take upwards of 8 months to replace! I have provided them with a used one from an auto wrecker that they are trying to make work, my issue is why? I saved & saved to buy this Jeep & maintain it properly now it's gonna cost me way too much to "LEGO!" It back together! This is unacceptable

Chrysler 2017. dodge journey

I'm disappointed that I'd purchased a vehicle and feel that I was overcharged and rush to sign paper work. On internet the price listed 18, 625. I called the sale person and asked was the vehicle still available for that price the sale person stated yes. The moment I said I like the vehicle they immediately start filling out the paperwork. While I'm waiting to see the sale person they came out with a booklet full of paperwork wanted me to sign papers. I was with telling the appraisal of my trade in. They added addition charges without my consent. They appraised my trade in and did not explained how much my car was worth. After reviewing the contract they gave me 500 for my trade in and charged me 19, 999 for the vehicle I questioned the internet price. All 4 team up persuasive me that I have to have an extended warrany which they added without my consent. My car was not wash inside and out. No gas. They paid a worker to put a few dollars in gas tank for me to test drive the vehicle. I phoned an attorney. I want to cancelled the extended warranty and also I want the internet price.

Chrysler 2009 dodge journey

I have a 2000 and 9 Dodge journey SX and I have been having trouble with the car for the last past year and a 1/2 with it not starting I have taken it to several different mechanics to try to figure out the problem and no one can figure this problem out because it doesn't read on any computer I have taken it to Dodge they replaced the battery and told me that it was the battery it's not the battery whatever this problem is it is draining the battery right after I got it back within 3 days the car wouldn't start again this is been a complaint not just from myself but from over a 1000 plus customers from your 2009 to your 2018th I believe that you guys need to fix this security issue before someone ends up getting hurt and then you have to recall all of these vehicles I am so fed up with this problem and I am out $7000 trying to get and figure out what the issue is with this vehicle so my complain is that your mechanics can not figure this out but tell me is A GPS issue my car doesn't have a GPS and it so I don't know where they're getting their information from I took my Dodge journey to Chrysler Dodge on Morse road in Columbus, OH 43229 and all they can tell me is it is a GPS issue had to let me authorized for them to have another hour to analyze this problem and I get this back saying that it is a GPS issue once again my car doesn't have A GPS so I really think Chrysler need to recall all these vehicles and figure out what the ireal ssue is security wise because that's what everyone is complaining that their cars won't start the batteries are completely dead were told to put it in neutral while you can't put it in neutral if your car is completely dead this is a real issue and Chrysler /Dodge I really hope you can figure this out before you get a huge lawsuit I am tired of it I am sick of it I will never purchase a nether Chrysler product as a long as I live

Chrysler complaint

Dear Sir/Madam,

Re: 2015 Dodge Caravan, Crew Plus, 2C4RDGDG3FR522700

In November 2014, we traded in our 2012 Dodge Caravan Crew for the above-mentioned Dodge Caravan Crew Plus. We purchased the vehicle from Oxford Dodge Chrysler in London, ON. We had no issues with our 2012 and were just looking for an upgrade and willing to pay the additional cost as we were sure the vehicle would be reliable based on our experience with our 2012 Dodge Caravan Crew. Knowing our Caravan would be our primary family vehicle and that your service contract enhances the resale value of the vehicle we agreed to purchase supplementary protection. Unfortunately, the vehicle has not been satisfactory and we are less than impressed to say the least, given the amount we have spent on this vehicle.

To date, some of the issues include:

• The front passenger tire kept balding. We were told nothing was wrong but we were given a new tire, free of cost and the issue never occurred again (2017);

• The seal on the side automatic doors has fallen numerous times and the dealership has since used silicone to glue it up in hopes that it will stay (2018);

• The transmission lines were all leaking and they had to be replaced (2018);

• The air conditioning has stopped working and it stopped working on one of the hottest days of the year. When we took it to the garage we were not advised of any fees prior to work being done and when we picked it up we were told we had to pay for the inspection even though we were ensured at the time of sale of the van (when we purchased the GOLD PLUS PLAN warranty) that items like this would be covered, it was the best plan out there is what we were told up to and including:

o Air conditioning
o Engine cooling and fuel
o Front suspension
o Rear suspension
o Instrumentation
o Electrical
o Brakes.
We paid the fee and asked if the repair to the air conditioning and the fee for inspection would be covered through the warranty and we were laughed at and the garage stated, "it is a three-year-old vehicle with 100, 000kms on it, why would it be covered?" I reminded them of the gold plan warranty and we were told we still had to pay for the inspection and would be refunded if it was covered. Dye was placed in the air conditioning unit and we were told to come back in a week to see if they could find out where the leak was. We don't have time to be going back and forth to the garage, we work full time and have two small kids (2018);

• The black centre part of the gear shifter broke off and in speaking with two other Dodge Caravan owners they have experienced the same thing (2018);

• The navigation / radio system has started to shut down and re-start or not re-start at all and just stay black. This is quite inconvenient when you are out on a Sunday drive in the country with your family and have no idea where you are (2018);

• The key fobs (both) stopped working after a year and a half. The dealership said they work fine and when we leave the dealership the next day they don't work again. We paid extra for the benefits of remote start and automatic doors and the fobs don't work (2016/2017);

As I am sure you can appreciate, one relies heavily on their vehicle and with two small kids, having a reliable vehicle is very important to us. I feel like the van we have has been riddled with problems and causing us inconvenience to continuously take it in to the dealership to be fixed.
We currently owe $29, 915.45 on our van. Had there been a minor issue here or an issue there, I wouldn't be writing this letter as we do acknowledge that it has 100, 000kms and minor repairs would be needed, but a van is a family vehicle and we bought it knowing that it was going to be our primary vehicle and lots of kms would be put on it and we were assured it was the number one selling minivan and we had nothing to worry about! It is our family vehicle and we go EVERYWHERE in that van.

We would like to just hand the keys over to the van and have the amount we currently owe, wiped clean. My request may seem over the top but at this point, we are honestly exhausted from battling this out with the dealership and appalled at the number of issues a three-year-old $45, 000.00 vehicle has had.

I look forward to settling this matter amicably. I recognize what the importance of good customer satisfaction represents and can appreciate that suitable conciliation and arbitration be taken in handling my concerns adequately. If, however, the matter is not satisfactorily resolved by November 30, 2018, I will consider taking further action to resolve the complaint including but not limited to going to Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan ("CAMVAP"), Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council ("OMVIC"), consulting legal counsel and going to the media. I would like to continue an ongoing relationship with Chrysler in the future and request that my present conviction be assessed to demonstrate that it this not indicative of the service you provide.

Best regards,

Melissa Laframboise

Chrysler 2010 chrysler sebring

I have owned this Sebring since 2015. This car has had problems since the moment I brought it home. I paid about $12, 000, and financed it for 6 years, luckily I decided to aggressively pay this off. This car had about another $8, 000 put into it in the last 3 years. Never in my life have I had more trouble, and I have owned 10 cars including a Chrysler Sebring 2004. Some of this money was maintence but most of it was money no one puts into cars, like for instance a used motor which lasted me all of 9, 000 miles, not even a full year and now I need head gasket. I was always one for only purchasing American, but my girlfriend has talked me into Foreign after this lemon. I am now anti Chrysler, sorry American workers, Toyota and Subaru have a good reputation. I wont even donate this to cars for kids, I think it should die in a hold somewhere, where noone hears from it again. And I'll tell you this, good luck to the person who gets any part from this, it wont last before you drive it off your auto mechanic.

Chrysler 2006 chrysler 300 c hemi not cranking/engine not working

I bought a 2006 Chrysler 300C Hemi Class in 2009. VIN 2C3LA63H36H106952. My car is immaculate. I drive my 300 primarily on weekends and maintenance it regularly. I was on my way to church today, October 21, 2018 and stopped by the Kroger at Poplar and Cleveland to drop on my sick mother's prescriptions. I pulled up and parked the car and got out. When I got back in the car, the car would not crank and has not cranked since. I have never had major problems with car. My car has only 77, 062 miles and it is a 2006. It is in top condition. I had to have the vehicle towed. National Autow came to the scene and before loading the car, we attempted to crank it again. My car would still not crank. There is no reason why the car should not be working except for manufacturer default; hence, I am filing a claim to Chrysler Corporation requesting that you all pay for repair of manufacturer defects that occurred and get my car back up and running. I trust that you will find that any malfunctions are the responsibility of Chrysler's manufacturing.

Chrysler chrysler 200s

I purchase my 2015 Chrysler 200s from Joe Basil Chevy in Buffalo, NY on Transit Road in September 2016. My car is at the shop and has been there and a Chrysler jeep shop down the road. My car produces and awful and unbearable smell when parking or breaking even when you just turn it on. I have suffered alot of migraines because of this car. No one can find what is wrong which leads me to believe this car is faulty. I am being told to pretty much deal with the smell or trade it in, eat the difference you and maybe the banks will give u another loan even though you have to carry over 8000 that is still owed. I think this is wrong and Chrysler should cover th additional fee due to a faulty vehicle no one can fix. The car does show any codes just for the record. I looking for this to be made right. Please

Chrysler chrysler limited 200 1c3cccabxfn734571

I purchased a Chrysler Limited 200 in Nov. of 2017 from Toyota Land, Chrysler Jeep Dealership in Springfield NJ. The car has been back to the shop near monthly for repetitive problems. I experienced problems at the Springfield, NJ dealership with the mechanics who refused to look at the problems with the car. The car comes to a stop automatically while driving. This is extremely dangerous to myself and others on the road. In June the Summit, NJ Chrysler Dealership looked into the matter with the car after getting in touch with Your Customer Service Department. A new engine was put in the car in August 2018. In October of 2018, the car broke down again and needed to be towed back to the Summit NJ Dealership. I called the customer service number multiple times and it took a week to receive a response from your company. My car is currently still sitting in the Summit, NJ Dealership Location and I am asking for representation in this matter at an escalated level.

I was sold a precertified used car (# years old) which clearly was not precertified properly or at all at the dealership before selling it to me. The air conditioner in the car is broken, the entire electrical system failed and needed to be reset once, the engine failed on multiple occasions and now the car is inoperable and a danger to the road once more. I purchased the car with 77, 000 miles and the only excuse I get from your dealership and representatives is the car has a lot of miles on it. This is not a lot of miles for a car. My last car, a Toyota Corolla was over 10 years old and had a little over 300, 000 miles on it before changing cars to The Chrysler. I would appreciate it, if the arbitrator or someone in Corporate Headquarters would get involved to resolve this matter. Once again, I am unable to get through your telephone system to speak to a live operator.

Chrysler 200 chrysler neon

My neon's coolent and transmission fluid mixed, resulting in me having to replace my rad in June. Just not my transmission has failed due to that incendent. This is a fault in the cars mechanics. This has been reported in all of the other neons of this year and yet there is nothing that's been done about this. The repairs are far to expensive to do and I would really appreciate if dodge would do something about this. I have already put nearly $2500 in work on this car after it's inital purchase. And now for a rebuild transmission I am looking at a minimum of $3500 which goes way past what the car is worth
But I am already $4000 deep into this car and don't really know if I can just give it up for a fault on dodge.

Chrysler dodge heater core

Dodge and Chrysler vehicles with multiple issues with heat/heater core needing service/replacement. Cost falling on consumer. Heat blows hot and cold on different sides and often coolant leaks into vehicle. I have had my car (2012 Dodge Avenger) serviced 3x for this issue and my wife's Chrysler 200 (same car) at least 1x.
This is a manufacturer issue. Obviously faulty replacement parts are being included as well. Now I have the issue again and can not get into dealership until 11/30/18 for review.

Chrysler emergency brake engagement cover breaking and slicing my thumb

While disengaging the emergency brake the cover snapped off and sliced my thumb. Lucky enough I was able to get the emergency cable released as I still had to return home. This should not happen. Went to dealer and they said well it's just plastic. Waiting for the part. First time in all my years that this has ever happened. Cheap parts. Lucky for me I did not need stitches in my thumb.

Chrysler 2013 chrysler 200 limited no passenger side heat

I have a 2013 Chrysler 200 limited with a 3.6l VTT engine. I have no heat on passenger side and am hearing this is a common problem. I think the time has come for a recall to help us with repair costs. It's coming from the additive you put into your antifreeze for pinhole leaks in the radiator during manufacturing. I love this car and have always enjoyed Dodge Chrysler vehicles. But this is unacceptable guys. Dont cause so many people to no longer consider buying your vehicles because you didn't at least contribute to our repair costs. There are lots of complaints online and throughout the history of this model vehicle. Do better we deserve better
