1 NC, United States Review updated:

I got a pop-up window stating that my computer was infected, and it locked up. I purchased this antivirus software because it looked totally legitimate. Not only did I get charged $69.95 for software that never installed on my computer, but I continue to have problems opening programs now. I've started the dispute process with my bank, but have no idea how to fix whatever got triggered!

Unfortunately, my company is also called Eurosoft and recently we have begun to receive phone calls from individuals who have had a similar experience to the one described above. In some cases, they were given our telephone number by their bank or credit card company after they called to complain about the charges on their accounts.

Please be aware: Eurosoft, Inc. in Cary, NC, is NOT in any way, associated with this scam or the company perpetrating it. We do not receive any payments to our accounts as a result of the charges incurred by the victims of this scam nor are we responsible for the software or viruses that were installed on your computers.

If your bank or CC company gives you our number: 919 -468 - XXXX, please inform them that they should try a little harder than a simple Google search. We can not help you uninstall the virus/software or help you recover your payment.

We regret that you have become the victim of online fraud and we wish you the best of luck in recovering your money and restoring you computer's functionality.
