My name is Sharina Washington, and until September 9, 2017 I was employed with Chipotle restaurant in La Plata, Maryland. I started my career with Chipotle in June 2015. During this time, I was promoted to Kitchen manager and prior to my termination, I performed duties as a Service manager. My time with chipotle was a pleasant and I enjoyed working with Management and staff. We were a team.

Prior to my selection as Kitchen Manager, I was required to test in certain areas of food preparation, gain knowledge of food temperatures, inventory, deployment charts, etc. and I was also given a Kitchen Manager book to complete. I trained with a Manager who reviewed my work after each chapter and initialed after meeting with me to discuss what I had learned in the chapter and/or if there was further training needed. There was also an on-line training as a qualifications requirement, I passed the necessary criteria to become a Kitchen Manager.

Because our site was short staffed, I was asked to assist in performing the duties as a Service Manager, I readily agreed to this and after a short time, discussed with Management my desire to become a Service Manager full time. Management agreed and I began to perform these duties full time with an increase in pay. There was no formal training for this position, I just moved from one position to another. I managed my staff with a courteous and professional attitude. The only reprimand that I have ever received from Chipotle was a 3-day suspension because of my attendance and that happened in 2015.

On September 9, 2017, I was called into the Managers office and told that I had failed an inspection and that I was being terminated for “Poor Performance.” There are a few things that concern me and I am hoping that you will be able to respond to my concerns. I am not asking that you reconsider and re-hire me, but I would like a detailed account of the documentation that shows my egregious work performance. I fear that this termination will hinder me from pursuing other employment in this field.

On the day in question the inspector was there to observe the operations and from my understanding, found quite a few areas where Chipotle failed. The one staff member who was observed performing her duties was non-compliant, but she was not terminated. I understand that she served food without gloves and was seen picking up food with her hands.

Some of the questions that I answered were incorrect, but I feel had I had proper Service Manager training, I would have been better prepared.

I feel that I was an asset to the Chipotle team and will miss the team spirit atmosphere that was shared amongst the Chipotle team. Again, my request is not to ask that you re-hire me, rather give me a better understanding as to why I was terminated. I spent three years with Chipotle and enjoyed working there, but I fear that this termination will stop me from applying for and being hired for other opportunities that may come my way.

Chipotle Mexican Grill extra charge without a warning.

I bought a carnitas burrito at the store of 3rd and pike in Seattle washington, the girl putting the ingredients asked me for guacsmole, I said yes, the she charged me $2.00 forit, I think she shoukd tell the customers there is an extra charge for it, when I question het about it, she replied, there is a sign on the front of the glass, turned around and ignored me, si nce wdoba do not chsrge for guacamole, I didn't know you guys do, very disappointed.

Chipotle Mexican Grill food temperature

I just got in from the Chipolte in South Plainfield, NJ where my wife and I purchased Burrito Bowls and Queso with chips. The Queso was very gritty and had no flavor. Our Burrito Bowls were very cold, every element was cold, not lukewarm cold. We assumed in the past it was because we ordered ahead, but in the 5 minutes it takes us to get home the food should not be cold. We find this to be unacceptable. Please contact me [protected]@gmail.com if I do not hear back from Chipolte I will contact the health inspector because this might be a health issue if food is not kept at proper temperatures.

Chipotle Mexican Grill service and food

Tonight we ordered 4 bowls half and half. I live 5 minutes away when we started to eat our food was ice cold! I don't mean a lil cold l mean freezing the container was cold itself! The rice was clumped together like it was in the refrigerator and not heated up! There might of been 5 pieces of meat! The chips were stale but my guacamole was good!The wait was un real the staff just did not care yes it was 9:30pm next time just lock the doors if you don't want to continue to work! I spent over $30 for food not edible we know you can't heat up sour cream and cheese! I will be calling the store about my complaint first thing tomorrow!

Chipotle Mexican Grill steak burrito bowl

I purchased a steak bowl for lunch today and found the steak to have a strong microwaved taste. As I continued eating the rice and beans were still on the crunchy side. It was very disappointing considering the price. I understand the need to try and cut costs wherever possible but warmed up steak and undercooked rice and beans is not the way to do it.

Chipotle Mexican Grill I am complaining about the whole store

This was my first experience at this location the line was ridiculously long. It took 15/20 min to get to the front of the line.The service was Extremely slow! the young lady putting the cheese n other stuff on was extremely rude and should not be in customer service.The cashier was pleasantly nice and was the highlight of the experience.The cook should be fired for the meat they provided there customers. I was highly upset and rated my food I could not believe the grade of meat received I felt like I needed to inform corporate about this because it was ridiculous.Called and spoke with a manger she said I could come back for a refund or a new order I will be getting a refund and never return.

Chipotle Mexican Grill southfield michigan on telegraph rd

I was in line for 10 mins at this Chipotle. While my bowl was on the food ordering area we were waiting for lettuce. It took the workers more than 5 mins while my food was just sitting there. While 5 different workers reached over my bowl getting other people's. I ask for a new bowl because I would like it hit the worker dramatically threw my bowl out and said go back to the beginning of the line. Another worker made me a different bowl. I talked with the manager afterward saying that is unsanitary having my bowl sit there for 5 mins with people hovering and reaching over it. I also mentioned the bad customer service. All he said was, I am sorry and thank you for your comments.

I enjoy chipotle but this was the worst experience I had. I spend a good amount of money here and should not be treated with poor costumer service. Please get in touch with me and I hope we can solve this in a productive way. I will be happy to talk.

Chipotle Mexican Grill burrito

I come into the palm desert location all the time and i always get the usual steak burrito, but this time it was a smaller portion than usual. So i questioned the lady, asking if i could get more, i was willing to pay extra but she didn’t even answer me. I love your food, but i just wanted to make sure you’re aware of this. Chipotle Mexican Grill mishandle service

Chipotle Mexican Grill on 54th St & 3rd Ave, New York, NY

Not a very pleasant experience. Unfortunately, the event happened with the Manager Dora. I think this facility needs to be retrained starting with her. My order was to go, towards the end of my order when I was ready to pay. I informed the cashier that my order was to go as I had mentioned to the starter. I paid, asked for a shopping bag for my order for I had a stroller. The cashier asked me to move a side while a lid was coming. Meanwhile my food was left opened, crossing hands for other orders $ other customers has paid and minutes later I asked what's going on with my order, Cashier states "Just waiting on the lid" Finally manager Dora say" You need a lid" Comes back seals my food throws me my order across the counter, takes the shopping bag I request those in another order which is the customer behind throws her the shopping with the food. The rest of my other order is still sitting on the other side. I had to basically bag my own stuff, I apologize to the customer behind me for me crossing over to pack up my remaining order. No apologies after the fact until I said something. Dora the manager very dry about the situation. I walked home for I leave up the block. I was not satisfy with my order, I know myself was not able to eat my food for it was exposed for a while. I returned requesting my meal to be redone or to reimburse me. Dora was willing to do so, but with a very distasteful manner.
I do not wish to be compensate, all I want is for this facility to be retrained on ethics and principals in regards to customer service. Without customers, your facilities would not succeed.

Chipotle Mexican Grill poor customer service

I went to Chipotle on 9/24/17 at 97 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, MA. I go to this location quite often and have usually had good service there. They often run out of fajita veggies and whenever that happens to me I usually get a freebie bag of chips. Today, when I went, they had run out of fajitas (it was around 3pm) and I do the usual and ask for the free bag of chips since they ran out of something that is on the menu. He told they don't do this type of compensation, and when I said I always get a free chip at this location when they run out of a menu item, he went and asked another employee. Now, this employee began yelling at me from the grill station he was working at, acting like my question was completely absurd. It's one thing to calmly come up to me explain that they were not going to allow it this time around, but to yell at a customer across the room in front of a whole line of people is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I have given a lot of business to this location and am a frequent customer and have never been treated so poorly. I would like to be compensated for being treated poorly- a coupon for a discounted or free burrito would be most appreciated. But, I also am worried about this specific franchise. I think that it may be a maladaptive environment for the other employees that work here because he was also treating fellow employees extremely poorly and yelling at them as well. If I see this employee again I will get his name or take a photo of him send an attachment of his picture. Someone who is so unprofessional towards customers and co-workers needs to be reprimanded for his aggressive verbal behavior towards both his customers and fellow employees in a professional setting. Chipotle Mexican Grill bad food and service

I'm a fan of chipotle restaurant but I must say the Chipotle Restaurant at 9141 Alaking Ct Suite 1 Capitol HeightsMD 20743 is by far the worst most unkept, rude workers and unacceptable food. I live just around the corner and have continued to patronize this place after seeing new managers rotate assuming it will get better. I spent spent$26.13 on 09/23/[protected]@1:21pm service by Noelia on two bowls a steak and chicken bowl, side of guacamole surprisingly fresh this time get home both bags of chips stale which they had to know and a large Queso that taste like a combination of sour and old cheese. This is utterly ridiculous in such a nice area and perfect location off the beltway to get this type of bad service and food. There is a Chipotle coming up in Forestville mall less than 10mins from me and one in Woodmore which is 20mins from me, I say this to say if this location doesn't get it together they will loose plenty of customers.

Chipotle Mexican Grill burrito bowl

I live in Orlando, I went to a Chipotle near my work and wanted to try the new queso and had to wait 20 minutes to get my order. The cashier was very friendly and offered me a buy one get one free coupon which I appreciated. I went in to a different Chipotle today to use said coupon to surprise my boyfriend with lunch. As we are eating our lunch I found a long, dark hair in my burrito bowl. This made my boyfriend and I lose our appetites. We frequent Chipotle but are starting to lose faith in your chain. I think a refund is in order as we would like to continue going to your restaurant however these bad experiences are leaving a bad taste in our mouths.

Chipotle Mexican Grill guacamole

Went to a Chipotle at 10:50 am in Oakville Canada when it says they opened at 10:45am to be served bad guacamole. I asked for the fresh guacamole being made and he said oh what I'm serving is fresh. No it wasn't it tasted awful and it was runny and brown when we looked at it and asked for the fresh being made. So he lied and served us day old gross tasting guacamole when the customer ask if it was fresh. He said he made it dismorning lying. Just rude when it's expensive to its throw away. It was last sat on opening store #2815

Chipotle Mexican Grill food

I went in and I ordered my food for to go and when I went home to eat my bowl I bit in a huge avacado seed and I just got my wisdoms teeth out a couple of days ago and now the pain I had of my wisdom teeth removal came back and I'm very upset. I just want you guys to know because this isn't even the first time that this has happened to me one time I actually found the peel of the avacado in my meal and this only happens when I order the guac on my meal. If I'm paying extra for guacamole it would be nice to not continuously have problems that comes along with it. I don't mean to be coming at you guys in a rude way but this is the second time this has happened to me in the same exact location and I just want to let you guys know because I don't think I will be coming to chipotle anytime soon if this does not chnage soon.

Chipotle Mexican Grill customer service/ staff

The staff does not wear name Tags. They have Horrible attitude. I Asked a question and got stared at, eyes rolled, and a Rude no as she pointed to the sour cream when I asked if they had vegan cheese or vegan sour cream. This my first time here. This particular employee mumbles miserably so her words are intelligible and gets visibly angry when every person asked her to repeat herself.

Chipotle Mexican Grill customer service

Hi,

On Tuesday September 19, my girlfriend and I stopped for lunch at Chipotle #993 on Secor Rd and Central Ave. in Toledo Oh. We ordered two steak bowls and two drinks. The new addition of queso has added a lot of new excitement to the menu, and a lot of stress to the employees and customers. First off, my girlfriend was neglected at the front of the line due to an online order, we were then split up due to the completion of that online order. This should not occur, the in-store customers should always take priority at the front line. Secondly, the fajitas were out of stock, not a huge deal but something to note. Thirdly, multiple workers were complaining while making our food, asking "what time is it?" and saying "I can't wait till I get off." These complaints made us feel uncomfortable. Lastly, due to the delays our food received while being prepped, by the time we sat down in store, the rice and steak were mildly warm, and that's an overstatement. Overall, I usually have a great experience at Chipotle and I love the food, but this time was very bad, and I will not be returning to that same Chipotle for quite a while.

Chipotle Mexican Grill terrible service

I had bought a bowl with a kids meal, afterwards I felt rushed just as the cashier probably did to he seemed new, and I understood. I asked for a bOwl with the hot sauce on the side and also some sour cream, it I still got hot sauce on my food that I was sharing with my 5 year old. When I was charged I didn't get an extra bag for the kids meal plate. At home I notice I didn't have the things I asked for on the side so I had to drive back again to get those things . I had a long day I didn't want to spend it driving around for food twice!

Chipotle Mexican Grill food/service in general

Friday night our family placed an online order. The restaurant was fine with taking my payment in full online when they didn't have most of my order in the restaurant. Why don't they take items off the menu when they don't have them or shut their online ordering down when items are out of stock. No black beans, no salsa, no steak, no corn, ridiculous! They called to tell me they were out of these items, but hung up on me when I answered the phone. I called the number back and found out it was indeed chipotle and spoke with Zoria and she told me they couldn't cancel my order and that I had to google corporate's phone number to get my money back because she didn't have their number either. Then Edwin got on the phone claiming to be a supervisor and told me he couldn't cancel the order either. He did apologize for all of the runaround, but he couldn't believe I was told I had to look up the phone number for Corporate to get my money back. So I asked him for his Manager's name and phone number and he told me it was Mark Reyes, but he said he didn't have Mark's phone number, only his email. Could someone at Chipotle find a pay phone and call me because apparently no one has a phone there! Very disappointed loyal customer. Would really appreciate my money back ASAP!

Chipotle Mexican Grill service

This afternoon my family and I we went to eat as always at this chipotle, and my daughter does not like to get her salsa inside her tacos so she asks for it on the side and so its always the same cashier that tries to charge us each time for the salsas on the side. I understand if i was a person that asks for 2-3 salsas on the side besides the ones inside my food, but thats why she doesnt ask for it inside but on the side. All the other locations never charge me and this one does. Its very uncomfortable that every single time they try charging me. I love the food but i think that at this location i will never go back. It makes me feel like im getting more than we are suppose to which I am not. This Happened at 3701 W. Northwest Hwy, Bu Dallas Tx 75220.

Chipotle Mexican Grill service in food area...

We were rushed through entirely too fast...the server didnt appear to be listening to what we were saying as pertained to how we wanted our food prepared. An inadequate amount of food was offered. The serving area seemed a little chaotic...as in no one really appeared to know what exactly needed done ... and what quantities were appropriate. Also the tiny water cups were inadequate.
