Chili's Grill & Bar a/c out

We just had dinner at Chilis in Manteca, CA. And it was absolutely an awful experience, the poor server was amazing under the conditions. Tonight it was 114 in Manteca so as a normal family you chose to go out because you don't want to heat your house up with cooking. We got to the manteca restaurant and the hostess stand and waiting area were cool, so no cause for concern. We sat down and noticed it was a little warm but continued to order, no one said anything, we just figured we were warm from outside. We ordered and actually change our orders because of the heat. Our poor server was sweating but we still sat there, it wasn't until the server from the table behind us moved 2 other tables because the air was out on that side, mind you until this moment no one told us any of this. I spent the whole dinner fanning my baby because I didn't want to overheat him. Not one manager came over to talk to us, we took our dessert to go because honestly we could bare to sit there another second. I sent my husband to sit with the kids in the car because it was cooler that the actual restaurant. When I asked to speak with a manager at the end, said "oh yeah sorry about that" so thank you chilis im glad I spent $100.00 to be miserable while eating tonight. Let me say I understand the A/C going out is not something that the staff or manager want, but a sign on the door or a warning from the host or a stop by the managers would have changed our decision to eat there tonight. I'm confused why we were not moved even after the manager saw us dancing our selfs all night they specifically Ava posed our table all night. It's not only unfair to paying customers, but for your staff that is working. Quiet frankly it's unacceptable service to make customers suffer during dinner. I did inform the manager afterwards that I would not sit customers there because it was disgusting.

Chili's Grill & Bar waitress

Me and my 5 friends have been waiting for atleast 2 hours and our waitress didnt even stop by to make sure we were okay. There was a big spill on the floor and noone cleaned it up! We ordered appetizers as soon as we sat down and it came 2 hours later. The people around us were waiting longer than us and it took them a very long time to get there food. We didnt get refills until we stopped her down.

Chili's Grill & Bar service

My family and I have been going to chilis in Tulare Ca 1-2 times a week for several years now and never had complaints until yesterday(8-26-17). We were seated and host forgot straws. Waiter shows up to table and prior to ordering I wrote a note to let waiter know it was my wife's birthday. He replies with " I don't care I really don't care, now if it was my birthday then that would be different and then I would care". We thought waiter was joking so we reminded him of straws and he goes along by saying, in a rude manner, well let's get your order and then I'll get you your straws. By now I see the look in my wife's face that she was very bothered by waiter/service. Chips and salsa normally is served while waiting for meal in which it didn't, it showed up with the meal. While finishing up our meal we were hoping staff would show up to sing happy birthday and serve my wife the chocolate cake that's given with ones birthday, it didn't happen. I had given the waiter the benefit of the doubt and was hoping he was joking around when he said he didn't care and this point I saw my wife was very hurt by the entire event/experience. I'd like to go on and on but I'll end this by saying, this event bothered my wife so bad that it brought her to tears and ruined the rest of the day. Please note we drive 30 min to eat at this restaurant but will never return due to this experience with waiter. If upper management ever hears or receives this complaint, I hope the matter gets addressed and corrected so for others who visit this location will not get treated the same by same individual.

Chili's Grill & Bar cold kingdom

The store in Milwaukee area, WI.
Every time we visit it, there's always cold there. I caught a cold last time. The food they bring is already cold. And each time we complain but no one cares. I don't know why other customers go there. Are they warm or what? No, I don't want to risk my health anymore and ask corporates to look into the matter and take needed actions.

Chili's Grill & Bar table games

Using your table computer just cost your server a generous tip. The table computer was already logged onto sports trivia when we sat down. Having played 2 games of trivia I was then shocked to find out that the games were not complimentary but cost 1 dollar each. That's an insane price for 45 seconds of being asked questions.

The waitress was completely indifferent to my outrage of being charged.

So my typical 20% tip on a 90 dollar bill was sacrificed because of your greed for a table game.

I will never come back to Chili's again.

Chili's Grill & Bar charged for a canceled order

I submitted a pick-up order online on Monday 7/10. I accidently sent the order to the wrong Chili's location (Glenmont, NY). I immediately called to cancel the order. The girl that answered the phone seemed rushed and didn't even ask for my name. I even said to her, don't you need my name to know what order to cancel? She took my name in a hurry and hung up. I then submitted the same order to the correct location and picked it up with no problem.

On Tuesday 7/11 I noticed my debit card had been charged twice. Surprise surprise, it seemed as though my order did not get canceled as I requested. I called the Glenmont Chili's and spoke with a manager who was very nice and seemed to be helpful. He informed me Chili's must go through a third party in order to get my card credited. The manager took my information and faxed the request that day. He told me it would 2-3 days for the credit to show up in my account.

On Friday 7/14 I did not see the credit yet, so I called and spoke with the same manager. He told me I would definitely have it by Monday 7/17.

On Wednesday 7/19 I still did not see the credit, so I called again and spoke with the same manager. He wasn't sure why I had not received it yet and told me he was going to look into it.

That manager contacted me on Friday 7/21. He apologized for the inconvenience and informed me he had faxed the request to the third party a second time and this time he would call to make sure it goes through.

On Tuesday 8/1 I called once again because I still did not receive the credit. The same manager apologized and said he had spoke with the third party and it should have been taken care of. He let me know he was going to submit the request for a third time and with my permission included my phone number in case the third party had to contact me if they needed more information.

Needless to say, I never did see that credit and I ended up having to go to my bank and dispute the charge that way.

This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. Either that manager has no idea what he is doing or the third party they use needs to be fired. I will not be doing business with any Chili's location anytime soon.

Chili's Grill & Bar the blue haired girl working togo

I ordered togo friday night and when I was waiting for my food I heard the girl that was waiting on me yelling then she comes over to the waiting area and is screaming into the kitchen telling someone to shut the [censor] up and they don't know [censor] as well as some other choice words. When I say screaming I mean she was yelling at the top of her lungs! I then hear some other girl say you have a guest in Togo correct yourself. I was shocked that this girl would conduct herself in this way then when someone tried to tell her someone is waiting in Togo she still continued to yell and then apologized to me as if I were supposed to excuse her manic behavior. When I left I thought on whether or not I should write and express how utterly disgusted I am with the behavior of this Chilis worker, ultimately I decided too because sadly this isn't the first time I've been here and heard this kind of language and behavior come from this employee. I hope something can be done about this I love this restaurant but this behavior should not be tolerated. I unfortunately didn't get her name but shes not hard to find in a crowd she has blue hair!

Chili's Grill & Bar my order was horrible.

I went to Chilis in Carson and waited 45 minutes for my food only to have it come out wrong. For example I ordered the Cajun Pasta and wanted Chicken & Shrimp and when it came out it was missing the shrimp. My son's pizza came out half burnt and his food went back?as well. My baby fell asleep waiting on his food because it took so long . He was really looking forward to eating his pizza. My friend ordered 1/2 order of Texas Cheese Fries with extra jalapeños, onions and it came out missing everything. She requested no bacon instead asked for chicken and the fries cane out with bacon. This was the worst service We have received. We are frequent visitors of this location this by far was one the worst experience. This visit definitely compromised Chilis ethics and has me reconsidering if I will ever come back. I am so disappointed and wanted to express my concern with your organization about this less than mediocre experience.

Chili's Grill & Bar food and drink changes

We use to go to the same chill's all the time, it's been a while. We were driving by and stopped in, same location as we use to go to. We orders a chicken fajita dinner and a steak dinner medium, also a draft beer and a margarita. The Margarita tasted like something was wrong. My wife reorder the best one they have on the menu. This one also tasted bad. We told may be the lime was bad. She said it was the mix they get complaints, some bartenders make it with out
the mix . They make their own mix with lime juice. When the food came the fajita wraps were in aluminum wrap. Heating this way maid them stick together. They didn't taste the same, also the steak was well done. Don't know if I will go back.

Chili's Grill & Bar food/portion size

I am a regular customer of Chilis, After tonight I don't plan on going back no time soon. Within 2 weeks I order my same dish, Cajun chicken pasta, since the 2 for $22 went up couple of dollars the portion is smaller, 15-20 noodles 1 grilled chicken tender sliced, tbe 2nd entree Classic bacon burger the fries was stale along with the Onion Rings appetizers, very disappointed

Love Chili's but there is not question the appetizers and entrees have shrunk but not the prices. Fortunately food quality still good at least in the restaurant I frequent. Just give the consumer a fair amount or keep quantity the same with a fair slight increase in price to maintain profit structure.

Chili's Grill & Bar poor service

On Sunday July 23rd my family of six was at the Chili's in Monroe, NC and there was sections we wanted to sit in but a waitress was not on duty. The one's that was on duty did not want to come take my family orders. That action from your rude waiters prompt my family to leave the establishment. The Monroe establishment lost my business because of the rudeness of your employees.

Chili's Grill & Bar the manager and the hostess

I would like to make complaint of the Stonehill/Pflugerville restaurant. This establishment is so unprofessional. The hostess girl was tall /dark skin/brown hair & on Friday night working 07-21-2017 was so unbelievable unprofessional laughing and I watched them be so very rude to a couple of girls not acknowledging them when she came in to get on waiting list and when she did was so very rude. She knew that girl was in front of her and ignored her. She had picked the clip board up and stepped out a little and actually purposely bumped into the girl never saying sorry/nothing. The young lady had to ask the hostess if she was going to help her. she actually said said to her, Oh you need help.
Like are you freaking kidding me. What do you think folks need when they enter to eat/to be put on ist/ to be seated.
I watched once they were seated and they asked for manager and I was so appalled at the manager and how he handled it like their complaint was a waste of his time. I continued to watch and he allowed this girl to walk by and laugh/mock these 2 girls. When they finished eating and they were leaving. The hostess made it a point to say in a taunting way. Have a nice day, but it was realy uncalled for and the hostess knew she was being ugly and smart ellick.
This is so unacceptable. I hate to say this because I know everyone needs work and Im all about gods way, but the hostess needs to be fired, not only that, the manager at the least should be trained or released as well or maybe moved to allow this to never happen again.
This is not good for the stonehill/ chili's establishment and the upper management need to do a drop in surprise visit like maybe a under cover boss and actually see hands on how your establishment is being ran so unprofessional. I will say to you that I so wanted to speak up for those girls, but I didn't. I hope this complaint finds its way to the right person and something is truly done here. I love Chili's & this upset me to watch this happen and ruined my dinner and just think what it did to those 2 girls that were only there to be seated and eat and enjoy their selves. I wish I would have got their names at least, but I didn't speak up.

Chili's Grill & Bar wait time

Waited for 1 hour and a half to get to be seated? the manager, Andrea? that was seated us was RUDE. the lady that was checking us in had to tell the manager that we have been there for a long time then she waited longer to clean off the table I told her that I will clean the table off myself if we could sit down and eat had to make her clean us a table. I had to go up there for time just to get my food and came back raw no exceptions I want money back there's no sense in this if if I need to put it on social media I will nobody should have to do with food like that for y'all people to do that the customers are son sent her to I've never seen him for my life and I will never be back I'm requesting my money back in them manager should be fired for putting food out there like that

Chili's Grill & Bar insufficient information on the website

Ridiculous!. I placed a to go order for my dessert in chili's and came home. Then I realized that they didn't warm it up. I don't have a microwave at my house to warm it up too. When I called the restraunt they were being rude and that wasn't their policy. We don't know their policies unless it is mentioned on the website. There was nothing mentioned saying that we don't serve hot for to-go's.

Chili's Grill & Bar change in menu to remove health options and calories

I was pleased when Chili's started offering healthier options. I know that it was the previous US administration that made restaurants and the food industry provide beneficial information to customers. I am deeply saddened that the new administration removed that requirement. But even more saddened that Chili's reprinted all their menus to put customers in the dark as to what they are eating and the calories. My location told me they sold more Margarita Chicken when that information was on the menu. This tells me people WANT to know and make healthy choices. But, Chilis decided to remove this important information. Chilis am boycotting all Chili's restaurants until the calories are put back on the menu. I hope that other customers will do the same.

Chili's Grill & Bar price of cocktails at jax fl airport

Bought a Platinum Presidente Marguarita at the Chill's within Jax airport and when the bill arrived (there was no prices) I was shocked to find I'd been charged $16.99 for this cocktail. I queried it with our server who said it was 'airport prices'. If this was true, how come my dinner was the same price as my local Chilli's?

This is insane and for me, if this is how it works with Chilli's I'm done; will not patronize another. If you are going to hammer the drink prices, at least have the decency to have a note on the menu.

The food was great and the servers efficient and polite but no one likes to feel they've had their eyes poked out. Shame on you Chilli's.

Chili's Grill & Bar manager behaviour

Good day Chili's team.
Had a couple of months ago the first ever negative reaction from one of your management team member. I had been a loyal customer forever, and you guys have no doubt the best wings, and love them because they are great, and they always the same recipe.
I been in the Restaurant business for over 30 years, and I know a little about what you can do as manager and what you cannot do, unfortunately what your Manager did, was one of the absolutes do not do list.
We showed up to your store on 6949S. Semoran Blvd in Orlando, we do not live on that side of town, but we had just purchased a car, and kind of a celebration mode, I was dying for some great wings (and by the way, I have passed the Chili's wings tradition to my 26 year son and my 5 year old grandson, which we had some last night) but the day it was just me and my wife, and we ordered some wings and a cheeseburger to share, the server which shame on me do not remember her name, she was outstanding! When we got the wings, which they came at a great timing, my wife noticed that they were only wingettes, I eat one before my wife said something, (the thing is, as much as my wife loves wings, she CAN NOT eat wingettes, only drumsticks, so I told nay wife that's not a problem, I called the server, explained that my wife only eats drumsticks, If she could make the order half and half, she very professional said, no problem, I'll take care of this in no time, two minutes later, your Manager, Sheri Trombley, said: sorry, but you eat a couple already, and they come like that, we DO NOT CONTROL OF HOW THE WINGS COME OUT, I was in shock of what I had just heard, I even in a polite way explained the situation again, making sure that Sheri could understand, that the order like that, my wife wool not be able to eat wings, she insisted that the order came like that, I did not want to argue with her at that moment, I just said, just take them back, and bring me the check for the beverages that we had, (hoping and giving a last chance to rectified her few mistakes that she had made in just a few minutes) but she did not do it.
Took home a bad flavor, but you know what I did not do, bad mouth your Restaurant, never told anybody about it, I have a great respect for your organization.
Thank you for accepting my complaint, you run a great organization to have one person ruin a loyal customer of over 30 years for probably a bad day that she was having.

Chili's Grill & Bar rude person at host

I flew into Love Field in Dallas, TX Saturday night from Seattle, WA. Our plane left Seattle at 3:00 PM WA time; we arrived in Dallas at 9:00 PM. NO supper! So we were looking for a place to eat before our 10:25 PM connecting flight to Austin, TX. As we made our way from our arrival gate to our departure gate on the other end of the concourse, we stopped at each restaurant all along the way and found them closed or closing. ONLY Ebony the manager at COOL River was kind enough to explain that regularly airports close restaurants that are not near the last gates of the evening. She suggested Chili's since it was exactly the last restaurant prior to our departure gate.

We hurried down there only to find a guy in a shirt and tie (my assumption was management, but he could have been the host) on his cell phone. He barely looked up to say "closed". I told him the situation and he just said "sorry" and went back to his phone. I told him that I'd been told the policy was to keep a restaurant open near the last departure gate of the evening. He just said "sorry" again and went back to his phone. Not even "I'm sorry"...just "sorry" like we were not even there!

We ended up going back to Cool River and had a beer and we got a gold sandwich from Jason's Deli. So we didn't starve.

I've spent a lifetime teaching marketing and customer service in Texas high schools, and this guy was the epitome of rude, disinterested, and unconcerned. I've eaten at this Chili's and others ever since it opened. Not again.

Chili's Grill & Bar service/management

My co workers and I frequent the chili's on 436 by Full sail university. We started calling our order in ahead of time because even though they are not busy when we go at 2pm our food Always takes too long and we do not have enough time to eat without rushing. Today I called in an order for 4 people at 1:57pm, my party arrived at 2:05pm and alerted them, that we called in our order. At 1:30pm we asked to talk to a Manager. The managers name was Brianne, she came out and said she is the one that took our order on the phone and the reason that we didn't have our food was because it sat in the window so long because we were late. I explained that we ordered at 1:57pm and had been there since 2:05 and it was now 2:30 so how did it sit in the window that long when we had been here? She said she didn't know we were there, we explained that we told the person at the front and our waitress that we called our order in ahead of time. She said that she was sorry but that the food wasn't ready because she had pulled the food out of the window since we weren't there and she had to remake it. Even though we were there. So I asked her to please put everything in to go boxes since we no longer had to time to eat our food without rushing again. She said ok, than I asked if she was going to do anything for the inconvenience and she said rudely I can give a free mini dessert if you want... For four people that are paying separate? That is crazy! Than when our food came out we all took our food out of the one bag she gave us for four separate orders. One persons was wrong and two of us didn't have the condiments we requested so we had to wait again. We asked for the mayo and asked for the manager again for the order being wrong, the order had onions on it and the person was not able to eat onions due to an allergy. When I told her that there was onions on the order she said sorry about that and walked away with a major attitude. Never offered to fix it or replace it or comp it or anything just walked away. Than we had to ask for our mayo again after waiting another 5 minutes. The person with the wrong order took the onions off but still got sick from eating the food that had onions all over it. This was an awful experience! So bad that we will NEVER go to that location again on our lunch break, and we work right next to your location. Not only that, but we were going to order more food to go for others at work and we never did since our food took so long we decided it wasn't worth waiting for and being late again. Considering how slow that location is EVERY TIME we go there there is no reason for this type of service. chilies is one of my favorite restaurants and I am so disappointed that I can longer go there on my lunch break since this location is so poorly run. You should look into a change in management the lady who was there was rude and nasty and has no business being a retail restaurant manager! I have been a manger and trainer of sales and customer services reps and she would no longer be working for me with her attitude!
