Chili's Grill & Bar very poor service

Hello I eat at the chilies at Westfarms New Britain Connecticut address 590 Hartford Rd. and Route 71 store number 806 at lest once or twice a week. It is right near my job and go there every Friday. I decided to have my Father's Day lunch this Sunday, June 18, 2017 at 1:46 PM my server was a Jenny. In the beginning she seemed OK took Took our orders without a problem. But then after that we never saw her.had to ask other waiters or waitresses for refills finally when we did see her we asked for a to go container for the Suaces ( not guacamole )just sauce. And cheese.She told me it would be a $1.50 more. I said that I eat here once a week every day for the past seven years and was never told that and was always given a container or extra sauce without any issues. She then said well they're supposed to charge you. She was very defensive(raised her voice ). I then said I understand if this is for guacamole which it is not. I just thought you should know of the horrible service that we got from Jenny that made me and my family very uncomfortable. I will still go on my lunch on Friday's because there is a different waitress or waiters that are Pleasant and I never have had a problem with. I have people take me out for lunch for my work and they even commenting on how great this chilies locations. However if I get seated and Jenny is my waitress I will go to the Red Robin's down the street . I find it my responsibility to let you know that Jenny is in the wrong business and she is a horrible server and was not friendly or pleasant at all. Sincerely carl burns.

Chili's Portland #1025,
your waitress was rude and place our salad plates hard onto the table, she called me: Hey, we are out of corn, then I found a small black hair in my salad, when I call the young manager "Jerry" HE rolled his eyes to us, came over and said: "oh that piece of hair?" as if it was a regular thing in your restaurant?, I have been to your Chili's here in San Antonio and twice to the one in Portland, It was a late dinner but you should still have everything on the menu at any given time!
I have NEVER left a restaurant so disgusted, so sorry I bother to come into this one!
Since we are related in the restaurant business, we know a thing or two about customer service, staff members who care and those who don't. The two individuals we dealt with were not your biggest assets! Very Disappointed!

Chili's Grill & Bar uncleanliness

I had visit this restaurant April 2017 for dinner. When the host directed us to the seats it was dirty and nasty there was food still on the table and beverage spilled on the booth seats. When I called so an employee could rectified the situation someone came with a rag and wipe off the table I had to redirect them to wipe off the seats. Once we sat down the table still had food that was dried up on it. I then called for a Manager when I showed him he went and got a spray bottle and a rag and wipe the table. Once we sat down again my companion shows him all the dirt and the food that was lodge in between tiles that was on the table. He was very unresponsive about the whole situation. We sat and tried to enjoy dinner but every mouth of food I thought of the uncleanliness of the restaurant. I will never eat at that restaurant again and if I do go to any other chili restaurants if I see that kind of filth I would leave right away and won't look back.

Chili's Grill & Bar "unsatisfied customer"

Good morning,

I am a Hugh fan of chilli's for many many years, we ordered about 100.00 in appetizers and meals. I was very disappoint in the appetizers the big mouth on each triple dipper was a hamburger cut in half (really) and the org. chicken crispers were under cook.

Chili's Grill & Bar unsatisfied with the service and rude service

me and my family with our visitors from oversea decided to dine in at chilis restaurant came in and no one greeted us and we just stand there wait to be help. staff just keep walking in front of us it's like we don't exist. eventually my husband ask of the receptionist or staff to help us then they eventually show us where our table. waited again for a good amount of time to place order to our waiter. kids starting to get hungry husband starting to get upset with the service. just a very bad experience for us. i dont know if we still wanna go back to these establishment. seems worker there are not happy and welcoming to the customers. overall we did not enjoy our dining.
if we can get a full refund or return, but i dont have the receipt since we left right away after eating.

Chili's Grill & Bar food

I sent in a complaint about the quality & portion sizes of the food we received on mother's day at approximately 12pm, one on the kiosk in th restaurant when we were checking out, and one either that same day, or the next day onl8ne. I have never been contacted, or gotten any sort of response from Chili's restaurant. The food that i ordered, i order everytime i go there, and it was awful. The chicken cream cheese enchiladas were so hard that i couldn't even eat them, & the rice was green, completely different looking & tasting from every other time I've ordered the dish. I ordered adult size portions of the chicken crispers for my 2 boys, and the corn was overdone, the amount of fries that they received was so small, we could have gotten a better deal from McDonald's, or definitely Red Robin! At least you get unlimited fries there. Plus, they always get way more with there kids meals! I'm so upset. Plus, shouldn't they have gotten a choice of sides? They always did before w/ their kids meals, but th8s time they weren't offered any different sides, and since my kids hate corn, that was a total waste ofva side for them! Plus it was so overdone and mushy when i tasted it, nobody would have wanted to eat it. The fact that i was never even contacted by anyone says a lot to us about how much Chili's cares about their customer's satisfaction. I will say that the hostess and waitress were very nice. I have nothing bad to say about the service.

Chili's Grill & Bar manager on 6/7/2017

I was celebrating my birthday 6/7/2017 yesterday at chilis eagle pass, had to leave because the manager was so rude, he was checking on us constantly watching my table, making everyone feel so uncomfortable. He was constantly sending our waitress to tell us we couldnt order more drinks because we had to finish the one we had, while he was watching from a distance. At one point he said "what?" to one of my friends, and she responded that he was making us feel very uncomfortable! He made a face at our table and left...It was just very unpleasant we decided to leave to another restaurant!

Chili's Grill & Bar employees hanging in a bar booth

I stopped by my local Chili's on highway 290 and Spring Cypress in Cypress, TX for a quick bite to eat. The noise level of the employees was very loud. Their topic of conversation was unprofessional. My mother and I are in the bar area and there were about 6 employees all huddled up in a booth. We moved from the booth we were in because the noise was too loud. While there was only one server actually working (John) the rest were sitting back laughing and talking. The manager did not make them move or tell them to lower their voices. I found this to be unprofessional. It was very dirty but John was the only one who cleaned up.

Chili's Grill & Bar child of kitchen staff was allowed in cooking area

On Wednesday the 24th of May we were at the Chili's Grill & Bar in Tifton Georgia. It was around 2:00 p.m. We noticed a young child a toddler who was running back and forth in the kitchen area where they cooked. We observed an employee who was working holding the child while working. I don't know where management was because the staff was acting like it was party time for them. For the safety sake of the child I would have thought that should be forbidden. A short time later I noticed that the noisy staff had settled down and I don't know if manager had came in or what but it became the atmosphere of a different restaurant and the child and I am assuming the parent left the restaurant. This was not just a safety issue for the child but the health issues for the prepared food. I believe if a health inspector would have been their that restaurant would have been shut down. Also not to mention the risk of losing insurance and franchise.

Chili's Grill & Bar terrible and rude hostess

We can in after an elderly couple on Saturday night. The hostess told us it would be like two minutes while they wiped off boothes and didn't take our names. We waited and 4 other couples came in and the hostess took their names. About 5 minutes later the boothes were clean and she began to seat the other couples before us. When I said something to her she was rude and continued to seat the other couples. I have never seen such and disorganized restaurant and I left very pissed off.

Chili's Grill & Bar everything kahala chilis

my husband and I are from New York but we come to Honolulu often and we went to Kahala Mall Chilis last month. I have been here many times and every time I have been there something goes wrong . We love the food here that's why we keep going . This time was the worst, I ordered a quesadilla explosion salad and my husband ordered the guacamole burger first his burger wasn't cooked enough and the quesadillas were cold and hard and the lettuce was wilted and brown it just looked unappetizing and gross and it took forever to come the only thing that was good was the server she was very pleasant and friendly . I felt bad for the server cuz I know it's not their fault . Manager comes out (which took forever by the way )and apologizes about it telling us they bringing us fresh meals. So they did and again took awhile which made me think they aren't taking it seriously. honestly it was a bit better but I could tell they just warmed up the same quesadillas and put some more new lettuce on the old one . I didn't say anything I just let it be because I was tired and I didn't want to go through the hasssle again .Why I'm mentioning this much later is I was talking with a friend and they mentioned there horrible experience at. Chilis they had on their recent trip . But it really did bother me and that's why I felt the need to come on here .Something needs to change obviously and management needs to take this stuff seriously instead of talking a big game because honestly the managers don't seem genuine and I can tell everyone there is so overworked and it's understaffed it's sad. I have worked as a waitress for a restaurant when I was younger so I know . So my advice is to upper management is to treat your staff right and with respect, take the time to train them properly too so this doesn't happen and also don't cheat your customers by being phony and all talk .

Chili's Grill & Bar food was hard and silverware was so dirty with dried up food on it

I come there often but today was terrible when the food came out the potatoes soup was cold, I didn't want to complain when tried to eat the silverware was so dirty had dried up food on it. I called waitress and showed him ask for more by then soup was even colder. It was two of us and her spoon was nasty as well. Got my food it was so hard u can hit the wall with it kept tell waitress he did say sorry but I still had to pay

Chili's Grill & Bar service/bartender

ON 5/8/17 my daughter, son and I stopped to have a drink before my daughter and I got our flight back to PA. We sat at the bar; and as soon as we told the bartender (Kayla) that we were only having a drink, she made a smart comment "Is anyone ordering food today?" We had our first drink; and she totally ignored us, not asking if we wanted another. The bar was not even busy! She walked past us several times and could see that our drinks were empty. I did notice her on her cell phone. I finally had to call her over to ask for another round of drinks. She was rude, unprofessional and very unfriendly and acted as though we were bothering her. I have been a waitress and I currently work as a service provider. My feeling is, if you don't like your job, then get out of it! This girl may very well have been having a bad day; but, honestly, my daughter and I were leaving my son, who serves in the Navy; and the last thing we needed was an attitude! I honestly normally do not complain about service, but this was some of the worst ever! Working with the public is not easy; however, she needs to learn to put a smile on her face and pay attention to her customers. Maybe she thought that because we were just having a drink that we were not important enough to check on us.

Our bill was over $50 and this bartender could have gotten herself a nice tip. She got something, but not what she could have gotten.

Chili's Grill & Bar waitress

A group of us had went to the Chili's in Panama City Beach Florida on May 5th 2017, an the waitress Brandy, was very slow, made us wait over 30 minutes for our food, an she kept saying she was bringing us refills of our drinks but again, we had to wait over 30 minutes for them also.. she seemed annoyed when we also asked for napkins an dipping sauces etc.
Also when cleaning the table next to us, the man cleaning it wiped the food on the table onto the floor, which i found very disgusting so not only was there food on the floor now we have to be careful not to walk an or slip on the food.. For a very popular restaurant i was very upset with the service an the cleaning that they did on the tables..

Chili's Grill & Bar bad wine

This was at dfw airport, chili's store id #dfwchi02, on 4/26/17, my survey code on the receipt was 9440. My server was kelundra, who seemed quite distracted with all the guests she was serving. I ordered dinner with a glass of altitude project cabernet wine. I asked the server to check with the bar on when the bottle had been opened and told her the wine was bad. I couldn't drink it. She didn't get back to me at all and charged me in full for $12.75. Since I was traveling, didn't have time to do anything about it — I travel frequently and dine at chili's in airports quite often.

Would like the cost of the wine refunded

Chili's Grill & Bar bar server

On saturday april 22nd my wife and I went to chilis to eat... We were waiting to be seated and kept getting stared at by the bar waitress... After being seated directly behind the hostess podium this same bar waitress walked up to the podium and whispered something to the hostess... The hostess turned around (Within 3 feet of our table) and stared at the back of my wife and stared at me a couple times as they whispered to each other... After bar waitress left I asked the hostess if something was wrong... She stated that the bar waitress said that " I should not have seated u two because we were a problem... Funny cuz we haven't been to chilis in years... I was astonished... Turns out, after asking around, the bar waitress was someone who was fired from our church preschool for coming to work intoxicated, repeatedly. Was this a vendetta, how awkward. So just wanting to have dinner, this woman (Kimberly dickerson) decides she's going to harass us. Why us?... Don't even know what to say or do, my wife and I were stunned... Feeling so uncomfortable, we just got up and left... I bet if they had done a good background on kimberly they wouldn't have lost us as a customer. I should have asked for the manager, just wanted to eat soon, but not there.. What a shame...

it took 30+ min to get our food, I had ordered the buffalo chicken salad without blue cheese and pico on the side, after the 30 min wait I received a salad with blue cheese, informed the waiter and he took It back and then when my salad came back out the server had no idea what table it belonged to so she was asking around and of course I received a soggy salad with a mountain of lettuce that looked like they combined it with the salad that got sent back, my daughters pizza was burnt but after waiting for so long she was starving and had to eat it, server was not attentive we had to request refills, I normally go to the chilis in Montclair which I love but I was close to the colonies and thought I would try it, worst mistake ever. I won't be returning to this one.

Chili's Grill & Bar loud music in the restaurant

On April 3, 2017, we ate lunch at the Chilis at the River Pointe location in Englewood, Colorado. The music in the restaurant was excessively loud. In the past, when the music was this loud we would asked the manager if he could turn it down a little and, he would graciously lower the volume. This time we were told that the manager said that the music could not be turned down. The music was so loud that the waitress was even having to bend down low toward the table to hear what we were saying. First, since the restaurant opened, we have eaten there frequently. Also, due to the location of the restaurant and the location of our business, we often take groups of 10 or more to this location. Be assured, I am not a complaining customer. Nor, am I seeking any refund, returns, etc. But, until the "Rock Concert" is toned down in the restaurant, we will not be back. It is impossible to have a normal conversation with those we are eating with when the volume of the music is this loud.

Chili's Grill & Bar food

On the evening on March 3, around 6:30pm my husband and I went to your restaurant in Asheboro, NC. We live in Asheboro and have been at this Chili's many times in five years. Last evening was incredibly disappointing and I would like to request a refund of my $43.75.
We didn't request a receipt but I am attaching a photo of my bank account that shows the cost from Chili's.
First, we were led to a booth in the bar that had a large hole in the seat with the stuffing coming out. I asked the hostess for another table. She led us to a different booth in the main dining room.
Second, we placed our drink order with the waitress, two craft beers from the local brewery. The bar server brought the wrong beer. We waited for that to be corrected. WE ordered the chips and salsa and were never asked if we needed a refill.
Third, I ordered the Santa Fe Crisper Chicken Salad with avocados. When the salad came the avocados were brown, streaked brown with gray spots. I said to my husband that I would have trashed this avocado at home and moved the four pieces to the side. The worse piece was hidden under too much dressing. I asked the waitress to bring another avocado -- and she did -- same brown and gray, disgusting. There were lettuce pieces that were not just wilted but rotten, soggy and decaying. I really don't enjoy picking through my salad to see what is edible and what is not.
Our waitress was a nice young lady -- but the food was disgusting. This franchaise has been going down hill for the last few months. You really need to send a quality assurance team in. I am sure that you don't want this type of food being served.

Chili's Grill & Bar policy preventing pushing tables together

Today I visited a Chili's, what I thought was a family-friendly establishment, but to my surprise and dismay, my group was not able to sit at the same table together as we were not allowed to push two tables together due to what we were told is a new policy preventing such action. This is very negative change as this particular establishment did not have tables that could seat more than 6 people. What if a family has five kids? What about a group of friends? Either the restaurant should have larger tables or should change the policy.
