Children's Place dangerous practice of staples in shopping bags

Today 4/7/19 while shopping at The Children's Place outlet in Canutillo, Texas my daughter cut her hand with some sharp staples the shopping bag had. I notified the sales associate my daughter had cut herself with the staples and she didn't say anything. When asking the sale associate what the purpose of the staples where in the shopping bags all she said was "that's how we get all of our bags" Please note the bags full of staples are very dangerous. I would recommend for corporate to investigate the need of the staples and provide a better explanation compared to the one provided by the associate. Cutting yourself with sharp items can lead to some serious infections. I don't understand the need of staples specially in a store that is dedicated to children. Overall it was a Terrible experience at the store. Attached are pictures of the staples in the shopping bag.

Children's Place employee

Went into CP in Spotsy mall and while I'm looking around I see one of the managers yelling at a customer. I don't know if this is allowed by the corporation but that is very rude and unexceptable for a manager. Her name is Lauren as I have found out but she has a very bad attitude and should not be a manager. I certainly will not be going there anymore or even recommending it for any of my friends. That is just so uncalled for to yell at someone who is just asking for help. I am very displeased with how you could hire someone who is so rude to customers. I worked as a waitress and if anyone was ever rude to a customer we would be in trouble, no one spoke tho her about her actions and that just shows they don't run a tight ship in that store.

Children's Place cancelation of order?

I recently did a order on 3/20/19 to take advantage of the 60% promo going on. Please be mindful I made 2 previous order 2 days before, without no problems. However my much larger order 61 items and over $300 gets canceled and got no resolution nor try to compensate anything. A lot of the stuff I putting in the cart were becoming Sold out. What am I going to do now?

Children's Place terrible treatment in the store in fredericton, nb canada

Store Manager did not know enough to let me know there was a second change room when I was clearly waiting in excess of 15 minutes for my daughter to get into a changeroom that was occupied. I do not shop in the baby section and was unaware of the second change room. The Store Manager indicated she was quite busy with about 10 people in the store and yet she looked directly at me when I was waiting with clothes in my hand beside a change room for my daughter to have access. She did not know to mention there is another change room.
Further when I let her know this I was quite irritated by having been given the run around with my $10 off coupon which was in my email and my electronic device had lost power. The cashier clearly saw the coupon earlier when I asked her if it was good to use this time and se read it and said yes as long as I met the minimum purchase requirement. The cashier could not do anything unless she saw the coupon and scanned my phone. I asked for a place in the store to charge my phone and she showed me an electrical outlet.
The Store Manager saw I was changing the electrical device, came over and I expressed my dissatifaction. She stated 'I have to get you out of here' and took the clothes I had in my hand away from me and marched to the cash.
Then I told her the cashier should have a work around for the $10 off coupon and the Store Manager stated only I can authorize discounts as I am the Manager. I explained to her the cashier should be able to ask the Manager for authorization of a work around!
Clearly the customer service is lacking in this store and common sense courtesy in dealing with customers.

Children's Place coupon

I had a coupon and tried to enter and it said that it would be applied after check out. I checked out and it did not take the 10$ off. This issues needs to be exculated becasue this happened to me twice. I will keep trying to contact someone becuse I either need to be refunded the 10$ or have it taken off my last purchase. I contacted their customer service and was told" the children's place offers promotional webcode discounts to be applied by our customers at the time of order placement. Coupons and webcodes offering discounts on your entire purchase cannot be applied toward previously placed orders or prior purchases. Once an order is processed through our order system, we are unable to apply an additional discount to the order.' thats it. When this does not address my complaint in the least. It's just a standard reply they sed to everyone.

Children's Place order disappeared

I placed an order with children's place on black friday nov 23, 2018 for $148.00 and received both children's place confirmation and paypal payment confirmation. I was expecting my order before christmas.

On dec 22 the order was still not received. When I called children's place I was informed my order was still "processing". I had to rush out and by new christmas presents at the local mall.

By jan 14 I still had not received any items. I called children's place again, was on hold for over 30 min. Then I was informed they had no record of my order ever being placed, nothing under paypal, nothing under my email or phone number.

I asked what I should do, and they told me to replace the order... But they refused to honor the original sale price I paid on nov 23, 2018... My "new" order for the exact same items would cost $296.00.

The customer call center is located in freaking guatemala, central america! And the person on the phone could barely speak any english and had no clue how to proceed.

This is the crappy customer "no service" you can expect from children's place and globalization in general as all of these idiotic companies move their call centers overseas to third world countries.

I refuse to shop at children's place ever again. With service like this children's place will go bankrupt like sears and good riddance!

Children's Place Returns / exchange policy

I am an early christmas shopper and so I started shipping for my daughter in october. On october 15th, I purchased $315.00 worth of clothes on my children's place credit card. Big mistake! I realized shortly after that half of the clothes were too big for my daughter (she's 2). I was unaware of the return/exchange policy. So when I went to return everything on december 17th, the girl told me that it was too late to return my items.
I called customer service and spoke to someone who would not help me in anyway.

I called a few days later (january) and spoke a representative, then another representative, then a manager. Nobody would help
Me make my exchange! I only wanted to exchange my items for different sizes but all the items were not available. They would not help me! They kept saying i'm stuck with those items unless I want to exchange them for the exact thing, different size. How could that be when almost every item
Purpchased was sold out from christmas.

And now to find out that those purchased items from november 1, 2018 to november 30th have until january 16th to make their returns. I'm soooooooooooooo utterly disappointed in thai company. I have spent so much money there over the years. I have spread the word and so many people I know are disgusted as well. I will never step foot in that store again. The manager offered me a credit of $40
To spend in the store. I said no thank you and told him I was finished with this store and extremely disappointed.

Children's Place billed for items that I never received

I placed an order from The Childrens Place on December 9th. I used the My Place credit card .. Half the items I ordered were canceled without me being notified, 3 items went to the wrong address (I was not aware until I called UPS), and I'm still being billed for them! On top of that I received my order a few days before Christmas. Calling is pointless because it's hard to get through. I have never seen anything more PATHETIC in my life. I will NEVER order anything again!

Children's Place jandelyn jene corbin

To whom it may concern,
The children's place in town east mall in wichita, ks had the most horrible customer service. Jandelyn jene corbin (the store manager) was the rudest, most apathetic manager i've ever met.

To start, I came in with place cash to redeem. I had a ton of questions on pricing (because a lot of the sale signs weren't ringing up as displayed) and had asked the associate brooke for a breakdown on what was accurately marked and what was not. As brooke was helping me get clarification on what was on sale and what was not, jandelyn rudely interrupts by shouting over to us that the store is being "flipped" and pricing hasn't all been updated since she started from the back of the store. That's absolutely fine. I continued on with my transaction. I had no idea we couldn't use $10 off $40 coupons with place cash so I had her scan one. As soon as she scans it she says I couldn't use the place cash. When she told me this, I asked if there's any way to void the transaction and just use place cash. She proceeds by stating no because it will void my coupon and I will not be able to use it again. Wow. She clearly knew what my intentions were and had still scanned my coupons to void them out.. She then proceeded to bluntly advise me of how it's just within policy that they can't do anything about the coupons being voided. No empathy whatsoever. Worse experience ever. She continues throughout the whole transaction to bash me on why she couldn't assist and then hands me a general customer care number when I asked for the district manager number.

Children's Place employees

January 2nd 2019 i walked in CP in Florence SC and the employees don't even acknowledge the customers at all, they never asked if we needed help or anything. 2 girls at the register not doing anything but talking. Heavy set girl taking her precious sweet time to ring up one freaking item and doing it as if she has an attitude like wtf. Why are you working! So me and my family just walked out and didn't purchased anything.

Children's Place returning christmas gift

Today my mom tried to return Pajamas to the Red Deer location in Alberta, Canada.
My mom purchased the PJ's for my daughter for a Christmas gift in November and when we bought them we asked if we can return after Christmas if they didn't fit as they were a Christmas gift. We were told we had until January 4th or 9th to return I can't remember exact date.
Today when she went in they wouldn't let her return the PJ's as it was longer than 45 days. We would love to exchange for bigger size but they don't have any left and there's nothing online either. My daughter and my mom left the store VERY UPSET as they should be because at this time of year it should be extended like we were told. This is very frustrating as we wouldn't have purchased the PJ's from your store if we couldn't return or exchange them and now my daughter is without a Christmas gift from Grandma.

Children's Place children's place gift card

Hello Sir/Madam,
I have 2 gifts cards which were deactivated. I had called 2 months back and was told by customer service that they activated both cards and shipped it to my residence. I have not yet received the cards.
I tried to follow up again yesterday but every time the call was getting disconnected after 30 min wait. I was on call for 3 hrs and folks were also not able to help me out.

Please help and provide me the update on these 2 cards. Let me know if you need any more details

Children's Place hoodies/sweater

I made an online purchase around last Monday. Half of my order arrives tomorrow but the other half shows it has not been processed yet. I need the other part of my order . It is for my nephews Christmas gift. I leave out of the Country to visit them on Saturday early morning. I live about and hour and a half away from one of your stores thats is why I order online and I have never had an issue at all! I am irritated at the fact that I tried your customer service number and it was no help at all. I need those 2 items by Friday. I have no time to shop for other gifts. I need to know asap what is going to happen.

Children's Place customer service

Hello. My name is DeShonnia Cooley. I am writing because I feel utterly embarrassed and humiliated by the way I was treated at your outlet store in Smithfield, NC on December 15, 2018.
Let me first start with how we were treated upon walking in: My cousin and I drove from Kinston to Smithfield to do some Christmas shopping. We were asking if the sales online would be honored in the store and the lady was confused about whether it would be, going back and forth between no and yes and finally to she did not know and we would have to ask a manager. So we went over to the woman she pointed to who was folding clothes. As we were asking her questions, she NEVER gave us eye contact or even stopped what she was doing to give any interest in the conversation. A young man by the name of Chris, another Manager who had also been folding and putting away clothes, actually stopped what he was doing to assist us and did so gladly.
Still continuing to shop, I walked past these metal things by the window and one ripped my pants and cut my leg. At first my cousin and the three workers standing around chuckled however, my cousin and two of the workers stopped laughing once they realized the metal actually cut into my skin, while the other employee continued to laugh.
I went to the bathroom to access the damage and told my cousin, who was still standing near the female Manager, that I had indeed been cut and was bleeding and no one, other than my cousin, asked if I was ok or needed anything or even acknowledged that it had happened at all. I was not offered so much as a bandage or antibacterial cream just in case.
Still feeling bothered by the whole thing, I explained to Chris what happened and even told him about the girl continuing to laugh even after she saw that I had been cut. I went on to tell him that he may want to do something about it so that no child or someone with less patience than I, went through the same thing. He immediately covered the edges.
I took pictures of the metal, the tare in my pants and the cut on my leg in hopes that I could send it. The hole may not be huge, nor the cut bad enough that I need stitches however, no one, especially one spending money for a service, should ever be treated that way.
(I tried to attach all of the photos however, I am getting a message that they are too big. If you will give me another way of sending them I will try that as well.)

Children's Place did receive promotion going on $20 for every $20 you spent

I when to children's place in gurnee mills in Illinois and they had the promotion for every $20 you spent you get $20 in cash money I see other cashier giving all customers who spent more then $20 when it was my turn to pay I spend $72 but like the cashier was so rude to me he just gave me my receipt and call the next customer without even saying thank you or giving me the promotion money he didn't even look at me. I'm very disappointed of Childrens place in gurnee mills.

Children's Place online order

I placed an order online on 11/26. I received 1 item in that order and the rest didn't make it through processing for UPS apparently. These were gifts for my children. Now I'm stuck a week out before Christmas and have to look elsewhere for these items. A refund to me is unacceptable as I bought these items on a sale and now they are more money and the fact that some items are no longer avaialable at this point. I shouldn't have to loose out on money because of incapable and incompetent service that is provided by this company. They stated they would give me a refund but after reading through this board it looks like corporate needs to clean house and start fresh with how they're working this business. I will never purchase another item from this place and I will be sitting and waiting for them to go under due to horrible service. I will try everything in my power to get this complaint to corporate.

Children's Place credit card payment overdraft from checking account

I am a newer customer to TCP line of credit. I have made payments each month since opening my card account in September 2018. The first week on December I received an automated call saying I had missed a payment and to avoid issues I needed to pay 41.xx on the phone. So I did. Confirmation # 330717. I didn't think anything else about it until I checked my bank account 12/5 and my account was overstaffed due to a Comenity payment of $246.xx which had been my entire TCP balance. The automated system didn't draft the $41.xx that had been authorized and confirmed but my entire card balance which left my checking account in the negative. I called TCP customer service number and s/w Tad, employee#4379. He showed the problem and advised would have a refund of $223.61 placed in my checking account then and fkr me to email a bank statement showing the overdraft fee of $32.00 so TCP could refund that amount as well. After this call I went to TCP credit card website and viewed my statement and payments and found that I hadn't missed any payments and should have never even received an automated call requesting payment. I called TCP customer service again, speaking with Donita. She advised would refund the $27.00 late fee, which is showing a credit on TCP for the amount but my checking account is still in the negative. Because of the mistake, I haven't had any money for six days and counting. I have never been late and I even paid after being told I was late when I wasn't, only to have the wrong amount be taken and now I am left with no money. I have a daughter and this has been a very terrible situation for us. I am extremely upset to check my bank account today finding it is still negative because of this mistake by your company. Children's Place tall rider boot for girls

I purchased a BG Tall Rider Tan Youth 4 boot for my daughter on blackfriday 2018. The quality is very very bad and the lather is ripping of in just 10 days since purchased. I wated to speak to customer care many times but it is always busy. I need a replacement of the item. I have the original receipt. Hope children place quality team listening me.
