Children's Place online orders and in store pick-up

Hello,
I have a few problems. First off, I've bought plenty of items for years. It's very shocking that I'm having so many problems with my recent purchases. I do have photos to show too as well. I bought a jacket online and to be picked up at the store (San Marcos location). I ordered it at 8am on November 15 and waited till about afternoon to receive any emails about it. NOTHING! I called the store the next day at 11:40am to see what's going on. The girl told me, that they cancelled my order since they didn't have it. I asked about any emails about it and she said that the manager said " It's not her problem or issue on me getting emails". That's totally rude and for a manager to tell a customer that. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Surprising, I receive a email at 11:43 stating that they cancelled my order! It's very sad I had to call and ask for item. If I didn't I would be still be waiting. My order was #[protected].

Children's Place did not receive items I ordered or a refund its been two weeks

I placed an order and 5 of the items were missing from my order when I received it. I have sent several emails as well as made several phone calls and not one of the customer service associates or anybody from the "escalation" team can provide any assistance other than " Ma'am we have sent this over to our warehouse to see if the items have been shipped yet and it could take up to ten days to find out". Nope wrong answer guys. NOBODY can transfer me nor can they get someone in management on the phone. I just need my 5 items shipped over night delivery ( It's possible it does exist ) and someone that works for them can make it happen. I do not recommend this place for ANYTHING. They haven't even offered me a refund or any kind of compensation for there screw up that still hasn't been fixed

Children's Place exchange policy

My son was given 7 items as a gift. The items were graphic T-shirt's and sweat pants in size 3t. Unfortunately the gift did not come with a gift receipt. When I went to the store to an attempted to exchange the items for size I was told that because they no longer carry the items I was unable to exchange them. I was told that I could not get anything other than what was purchased and that nothing else could be done in this matter. I am now stuck with $65 in merchandise that my son can not fit.

Children's Place store in north dartmouth ma

The store clerk who worked tonight (Sat 10/21) was very rude. I left the line to check to see if they had an item that was located alongside the register in the size I needed but my mom and daughter remained in line with the item I was purchasing. I was literally gone about 45 seconds but when I got back and waited for the woman to finish ahead of me the sales clerk said she was taking the people behind me
because I " was bouncing around". I never lost my spot because my mom and daughter remained in line and I was gone for less than a minute and back before I was up next. That was so rude and completely unprofessional. The people behind me had gotten in line way after Me and they had several items where I had only one. I put my item back as I could no longer purchase anything from this store and will tell everyone I know to avoid this store also. That woman needs proper customer service training .

That is not all my stupid idiotic mother and daughter said that I was gone for more than 45 seconds, that it was at last five minutes. Even if that is the case they had no right letting that idiot behind me go ahead, and since I was first, she should have stopped the transaction and went with my ONE item. I had to hit my daughter and make her cry by not buying her the birthday gift I promised her.

Children's Place customer service

Throw the whole Children's Place Company Away...this store needs to get customer service reps via the phone that actually understand English communication...just because you can speak English does not mean that you thoroughly understand the language. Likewise, staff in the store are also terrible and give out false information all of the time...they fabricate about holding items and then they are miraculously not there after traveling 40 minutes to get to it and let me not get started on use of rewards...if you use them and need to return an item consider them lost (the store will not refund the value). Staff at most cp stores take returns so personal and even seek ways to avoid making returns. Long story short, I am done with this place. I am paying off my computer credit card, using my rewards and never patronizing them again. Do better cp. Your customer service reps are really pitiful!

Children's Place online return policy

Not fair for people buying stuff from online. People buying stuff from online gets about 35 days because it's 45 days from a order date while buying from local stores get 45 days. Why there is a difference?

Children's Place take about 2 - 4 days to ship item and takes another 7 days to get delivered. Online shoppers lose about 15 days .

They should have return policy from the date of delivered because sometime parcel gets lost and it's fair for those online shoppers.

Children's Place about safety

I went to your store last nigth with my twins age of 4 we was walking trough the store when one of my babies hit her head with the corner of the table that you used for folding clotes .one of you associate put all this table in the middle of the entry it is not safety so my babie start to cry and your associate never asking to me if my babie was ok or if i need something or said im sorry bc was her fault to have this tables there she was disrespected person and of course i puched all this tables to the corner i was so mad i can believe you have this kind of perso. working there they dont care about safety or about customers i never will go to this store again and thanks god my babie is ok i almost call the police but i didnt bc my babie was scarie about this place . please give a good
training or choose your people better .

So your child (not a baby, they are 4 years old) walked into a table and this is the fault of the store how? They didn't push that table into the child. How is it any different than if your child had walked into a display? It wasn't the store's fault, it was simply an accident.

Children's Place order went to wrong address

Order # [protected] was placed 9/19/18 for the amount of $57.32. My previous order was sent to my new home but after that the shipping address defaulted back to an old one. Instead of coming to fresno ca it went to Stockton ca. I have no way of getting back out there and no way to retrieve my package ordered for my children. I spome with a rep who ended up hanging up on me. She only told me the package was delivered but nothing could be done ao im basically out of the money. This is extremely disappointing as i order and shop with this brand for years. I as a customer have been let down and will choose future wise to shop elsewhere. I hope that in the future your company can treat customers a little better when it comes to good customer service.

Children's Place unicorn pink sweater

I just bought a sweater for my daughter and she wore it once and it has a big hole at the bottom in the front. This is unacceptable when I buy new clothes and this happens. I feel like something should happen to help me with this issue. This company is supposed to have good quality clothes because you pay enough. Holes after one time shouldn't happen.

Children's Place service

On September 22, 2017 around 12ish pm, me and my son were in the store shopping for a birthday gift. We were accompanied by my 2 sister in laws as they werr shopping as well. When we walked in no one greeted us, We were at the strore looking at the deals they had. But we didnt find what we were looking for so we decided to head out. On our way out i noticed that there was a rounder EMPTY and just in the middle of all clothing racks. It was a rounder with a big heavy wood where the price tags go on. As we were walking out, my son decided to hang off it as he was walking out and the whole rounder with the heavy wood on top fell on him causing him to hit the floor. When he fell he hit another wood shelf that had head bands and purses i belive. And then all of a sudden the rounder came down and fell on his face. One of my sister in laws tried to prevent from the rounder from falling on him (since we were just right next to him) but she wasn't fast enough. After i picked up my son he was bleeding so much. His nose looked like it had fractured. NO EMPLOYEES ran to come help or ask if we were ok. It was very unprofesseional from their part. My sister in law yelled we need napkins and one of the employees called synthia, ran and brought us napkims to wipe my sons blood. The other employee called lily just stood there pointing to the back for paper. She took no accident report or asked if my son was ok. She literally just stood there ringing up a client, didnt bother to see if we were ok or need anything. I absolutely dont think there should be an Empty rounders that are pretty flimsy in the middle of the store as any other kid could literally bump into it and it could fall on someone. I ran to to the hospital to find that my son had a head injury and nose fracture. Im VERY upset how unprofessional your stores team players work. To my understanding, when there is an accident it is the employees job to check if the costumer is ok and if we need anything and take an injury report. Everytime im in atorethe employess lily looks very miserable working and doesnt offer to help or greet. I am a loyal costumer who has spent so much money reportedly of times for over 7 years. But with the costumer service that store has at the moment, i feel like i need to start looking somewhere else. Thanks for your time.

Children's Place order cancellations

I have placed a total of 3 orders online just this week alone and each and every one of them have been cancelled for no apparent reason whatsoever. I have been a regular customer up until now and had not had any issues, so this is odd. I have spent upwards of 30 minutes on hold for customer service, only to get a rep who speaks poor English and has has zero understanding of how to help me. I have also emailed customer service twice and am not getting any response on this issue. Furthermore, I spent nearly $200 in store and received Place Cash (which is a joke by the way) which I have used towards all 3 of these orders and am now not receiving credit for after the cancellations.

Maybe these people have lots of money and don't need customers such as myself but I think it is a shame that no one even has the decency to respond or try to resolve the issues of loyal customers.

We have had a $1, 000, 90-item order made with the Children's Place credit card CANCELLED TWICE over three days. The first order cancelled on Saturday. We called on Sunday after the Saturday cancellation. Customer Service said that only someone in the Verification - Loss Prevention Department can tell the/us what triggered the cancellation and that it would take 24-48 h and that they would get back to us. This is Thursday and we have been struggling for days to find out why the first order cancelled.
Since they did not tell us not to order until they called us back, we reentered all 90 items. They cancelled that order on Tuesday. We have been on the phone for three days (about 20 h on the phone) and are now up to Corporate Customer Care. They also can't get directly to the Verification - Loss Prevention Department. They are telling us that we will have to enter the 90 items a THIRD time!

Children's Place place cash

so i ordered uniform clothes for my daughter in July. Many of those items were between $5 and $10. I spend over $100 and signed up for emails and text messages. I received $50 in place cash. Today is the first day that those coupons can be used. The most absurd thing is that I CAN NOT USE THEM. They hiked the prices of their merchandise up to about $20 (for the items i was looking at) which is at least double if not triple the prices I originally paid! So The Children's Place say they have a sale going on to use these coupons but how is paying more than I previously paid before a sale?
example: a shirt i purchased was 9.08 and is now on the site listed as 18.71 and is also marked as 25% making it $24.95. HOW OUTRAGEOUS!
They give out these coupons and make everyone wait until now (for me its been 6 weeks) to used them after they have hiked all of their prices up. These place cash coupons DO NOT SAVE YOU MONEY! Their offer is a SCAM! I waited 6 weeks to be ripped off! WHAT A JOKE THIS PLACE IS! DO NOT SPEND MONEY HERE! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!

Children's Place closed credit card for no reason

After being a Children's Place cardholder for over 5 years, I found out today that they closed my account on 9/7/18 because they somehow didn't have my physical address in their system - only my mailing address. Funny how they had it on my NY&Co card though. I found out my account was closed by going to Credit Karma, but I do not understand why they'd do this after I just purchased some items from them for my son on 9/3/18. I called them at [protected] & Angie told me that I would have to REAPPLY for a new CP account because they could not reopen it. I asked for her supervisor, and she transferred me to the very rude and unprofessional, Andrea. She kept telling me "I am not too for sure" about each question I asked her and then she got an attitude when that response could not pacify me. I wanted to know why a customer's account would be closed when they had my physical address in their system for YEARS as well as my PO BOX address, yet they never closed my account. They didn't mail me anything nor did they email me anything. They simply closed my account. That's ok. It just proves that all these bad reviews are correct, and I will NEVER shop at Children's Place again. They can close my other account too if they'd like. They need some training in ethics and customer service because they are truly lacking. I wanted to send a complaint letter to their HQ office, but Andrea told me I'd have to send it to their generic customer service PO BOX. Not happening. I will just complain on every site I can about them. Stay away from this bank!

Children's Place return of a faulty product

I purchased 2 head bands on Aug 10th 2018 for my daughter. I also purchased a set of 3 chockers my daughter wanted on Aug 9th 2018. This stuff was purchased for when she started school this year. She only wanted one of the chockers, but they didnt sell it seperatly so I purchased the 3 pack for her. She wore the one chocker she wanted ONE time and it broke. She wore the cat ears headband to school ONE time. The headband is wrapped in a string. She came home from school with the headbands string coming off of it. This should not happen after ONE use for any item. I am wanting to return these items. I have the original reciept for both items. I went to the store with the items and the reciepts and was told by the manager that they can not return these items even though I had the reciepts and it was within 45 days of purchase for both items because when they sold the items to me they were in good shape. A defualty item happens. It looks good, but when the customer gets the item home it then shows the issues. The issue here being that whatever they used to keep the string on wasnt enough or they missed putting something on to hold the string on more. And thr chocker the clasp came off so whatever they used to keep that on wasnt on enough. It happens, but this isnt my fault and since i have the reciept and I am within the 45 days I just want my money back and they take the items back. The store wont help and I tried coorportar and it directs you to customer service. When customer service answered I asked if thry can help me with a store purchase and they said yes. I told her what happened and then she said I cant help you. She said the store needs to help you. I said they wont. She said sorry. I asled for anoyher coorporate number and she said we cant give put that information. She said you have to find out that information yourself. I have never heard if a company that cant give out a coorporate number. This company seems to be hiding because I called the store also and they told me they can only give me he customer service number. Seems odd that they can only give me a number to someone that cant help and the store wont help so who do I contact? I guess I am left with calling my local news stations and news papers since the store and customer service dont want to help and the company wants to hide. I am guessing they know their items are defaulty and cheap and this is an issue and so that is why the coorporate number cant be given out so they can hide from dealing with these issues. I will be postong to facebook also and contacting local news tv stations and news papers. Guess this is also why alot of these stores are starting to close. People dont realize the customers are what keep your stores in bussiness and when you do this stuff enough people will stop shopping at your stores which means you will start closing stores and eventually go out if business. You are already closong stores and based on your reviews guessing going out of business isnt that far from happening. This is a good reason why...you are loosing customers because of things like this and you dont want to fix it.

Children's Place shirts

So I walked into the children's place at the mall of NH on 9/5/18 and it's like 1:30pm I'm with my husband and it was a really slow day at the mall as the kids are back to school now so there was no need for us to see this section the way we saw it. Anyway we walk in and head to the graphic tees as we are looking for shirts for all of our girls to match in. When we walk and see a massive pile of unorganized clothes! I was livid as the girl who was working was doing absolutely nothing but sitting on her phone and this mess wasn't being taking care of and I needed shirts. I was so frustrated I walked away and she didn't even consider looking my way the time I was in the store to see if she can help me with something!

Children's Place return policy

The company doesn't honor its written return/exchange policy.

Incident: My mother, who lives in Texas, purchased school uniforms for my children at The Children's Plan and gave them to me as a gift when she visited me in Chicago. When I received them, I had my children try them on. The regular sizes at The Children's Place no longer fit my son. So I ordered husky sizes for him instead Order number [protected] and [protected]. Once I received the orders for the husky sizes and confirmed that they fit my son, I planned on exchanging the regular size 12's that didn't fit for the husky size 12's that did fit. I live downtown Chicago and there are no longer any stores in the downtown area. So I searched for the nearest store locations and while doing so noticed the low customer ratings that related to stores not accepting returns/exchanges. So before I drove out to the suburbs I wanted to confirm my exchanges would be made without incidence and contacted their customer service department. I was told that even though their return policy states that exchanges could be made for the same item/color in a different size without a receipt, my items could not be exchanged since I didn't have the receipt and husky sizes weren't sold in the stores. Their return policy doesn't state that the stores will only honor returns for regular sized children and if your child wears a husky size, the return/exchange will not be allowed. I would have expected them to return my unworn, regular-sized items with tags attached for a merchandise credit and then use that merchandise credit to place an online order for the correct size.

Well, it does state it in their policy... husky items are not dealt in stores so how would you expect them to exchange it for an item they dont have? And since you cant to exchanges via mail (as mentioned in their policy), in this case they do follow their policy...

Children's Place cancellation of orders

I was appoved for a credit line up to 500. I have placed 5 orders in which they have all have been cancelled. I have spoken to several agents and they guarantee to fix the error on their system. They state that the shipping addresss and mailing address are different. After speaking to them aand the bank the address match for both billing and shipping. Children's Place online shopping

I ordered 6 shirts online on sale i got each one for 3.75. The shirts im guessing run small on size and did not fit. I went into the store to exchange them for a size bigger, turns out they have none, not in store and not online. Moral is why sale colors of shirt that later are going to be removed. Im very upset because now i have to pay cash upfront at another store! Next time dont sell those colors at all! Im never going to purchase from childrens place again its only been dissapointments.

Children's Place service

I'm finally working he nerve to contact children's place. I honestly wanted to walk away and never come back, but I don't want others to be treated this way as I did. I was in Jackson TN Mall on tax free weekend and I was waiting in line with my 4 kidsfor over 30 minuets! Yes I was patient because everything was on sale, I not once complained. I get to the register finally and my card wouldn't read. I know my whole check was on there, for a fact. Continued not to read. I asked can you please enter the number. They refused and got the manager and she then refused. I believe it was because they had a line but I'm still a paying customer and waited just as long as them. I'm very disappointed. I then went to crazy 8 and my card worked just fine!

Children's Place customer service

I purchased two kid uniform shorts, but accidentally lost the receipt. The shorts did not fit my nephew who I bought them for. The shorts have all the tags intact. I tried to exchange them today, at the Children's place at the Rio Grande Valley Premium outlets in Mercedes, Tx. Before getting in line I looked to see if the same shorts were in the store but a bigger size. They had no shorts. After standing in line for about 10 minutes or so, I get to the register and explain my situation. The cashier then asks the manager( I'm assuming she was the manager) what she would do. The manager immediately told her "no, we can't return it cause she doesn't have the receipt". She told her she doesn't have it in her email. I told her they didn't send it to my email because they gave me a paper receipt. But I checked anyway. I asked if I could at least get store credit, she said no the manager, knodded her head No. I am very disappointed, first of all with the service provided and now I am stuck with two brand new shorts that will not fit anyone here in my household.

Should have kept the receipt... seems like they were following their policy ( which is found everywhere, even on their site with bold letters saying returns with no receipt can not be issued)...
