The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

Filed a complaint with Child Protective Services in reference to my son who nis 4yrs old.Caseworker Eric Krocka has not done proper follow-up and has shown blatant disregard for my child's safety. There was a Docter's report sent to CPS with concerns from Dr was reported wtih no follow-up nor wasw anyone interviewed. The case worker was told that the mark on his neck was done by him witj a string and there is no way it could have happened by him. The Doctor indicated the same but no follow-up was done. My son indicated he was put under a bed and jerked by his feet and his neck caught on to the railing and cut his neck. I told this to tge caseworker and the fir thing he asked was if it was an accident or was it abuse. No concern for the child or the untruth that was told to him about the incident. My child needs someone to plz help in this investigation as his health and well being is not being considered and the caseworker has already made up his mind that there is no abuse going on as he didnt initially see any marks on the child. Will be seeing a child Psychologist today at 2PM. The initial doctor is Dr Candace Siegel with kelsey Seybold on Gemini St in Houston, Texas. The Dr. today is in Houston, Texas as well. No follow up by CPS at all aqnd a child welfare is at hand. He has been abused by his 2 older brothers with are 15 and 13 years of age and also is grandmother. Which was indicated by him to the Doctor...Please Help! Will send photos

I forgot to add that the doctor that made the referral that he was referring to, spoke to me directly via phone and expressed no concerns of abuse or neglect, but made the referral at Mr. ' insistance. She said that the injury was consistent with the explanation given to her, that he was trying to make a necklace out of shoestring and his cousin pulled the string, leaving a burn mark of sorts. This explanation is the same explanation that he provided CPS, as well as many other people. I only mention the person that made the referral because it was announced in the court hearing regarding custody of the child. At the time the referral came in that the child was pulled from under the bed by his brother, I was no longer allowed to investigate the case due to Mr. , however, the case was closed by CPS professionals after all evidence was evaluated.

My name is Eric Krocka, the above named investigator. I cannot speak to the comments concerning made regarding Mr. mental state or aggression, although, as public record, you can see that Mr. has been charged for assault in the past, but the details of those charges are unknown to me. I am confident in my investigation and assessment of this case regarding this child. The child, along with the mother, four other children in the home, a maternal grandmother, and Mr. himself have presented the explanation for the injury to the child as an accident. The above mentioned explanation that he was yanked from under the bed by his feet was only provided after the child had spent weeks with the father while he was withholding him from the mother. The mark on the child's neck was exactly parallel with the ground. Had the child been pulled from under the bed, by his feet, and a wire that was hanging down happened to catch him on the neck, the scratch would have way more than likely been perpendicular with the ground(if child was standing up). Nonetheless, if this was actually the explanation for the injury, it was not a result of abuse or neglect. At the time this information was presented, I was no longer allowed to investigate the case at Mr. insistance. The case was reviewed by my direct supervisor, as well as my program director(my bosses boss), and possibly beyond. If that was not enough, another case was called in prior to my investigation after the father withheld the child again from the mother, and that investigation was also closed with no indication of abuse or neglect. The father has simply continued to register complaints with the agency, although these matters have been reviewed by many CPS employees with significant investigative experience. I myself have been with the agency for almost 4 years and my integrity has never been challenged.
I only write this as I feel as just as much as Mr. has the right to speak his mind, I have also have the same right. Mr. motivation i cannot speak to, but if it is for general concern for his son, and not an attempt to win custody of his child(and therefore avoid support payments), then I do not blame him. I will not question his love for his son. It was clear at the time when I saw his son in his presence, it was clear that the child was happy. However, I saw his son in the care of his mother as well and saw the same happiness. Although withholding a child from his mother does not fit the criteria of abuse or neglect, I am sure that it can be said that there certainly may be a potential for some sort of emotional damage. The mother has successfully raised four teenage children without abusive or neglective concerns, and not to say that life circumstances couldn't propel a parent into that nature, but there has been no indication in the last three months that that is the case. The mother, although distraught and going through a tough time, has presented herself as appropriate, cooperative and concerned. The mother has been consistent in her demeanor, and maybe it could all be an act, that does not appear to be the case.
I hope all that read this can take an objective approach to all comments without knowing all details. I wish more could be shared but there must be confidentiality in these matters, although Mr. seems to disagree, by posting on national websites. I have been accused of having biases in this case, even to suggest that I must have liked the mother(i am a boy, she is a girl, and the other investigator was also a boy, so I wonder what would have happened if the investigator was a girl), but i can assure you that my only bias was for the well being of the child.

I am his mother and his father, has a chemical imbalance and an anger management problem. There has never been nor will there ever be any abuse to my baby boy, by anyone. If there is a case of abuse it is at the hands of his father who is currently living with his girlfriend Denise Carter and child while still married and to show just how low this man an woman are she was a friend to current wife. This is shameful and is a liar.
