Chevron poor service

This occured just after 6:00 am: I was getting off the bus at josey and frankford and needed to execute a bowel movement with great urgency. I checked CVS and the doors were not open yet. The only open place was texaco, so i sprinted across the street and entered texaco and asked where the restroom was. I entered and executed my bowel movement. I must have eaten some bad food so i not only felt ill, but i had much trouble with execution and it took me much longer than normal. The employee knocked two times and once i had finished, i exited and the employee yelled at me for taking too long. He told me he didn't think i was executing a bowel movement and that i can't use the restroom that long. I told him that i was and not to be so disrespectful to customers. He continued to tell me he had other customers and was not understanding to my problems. I do not frequently visit, so i do not cause regular problems. I threatened to file a complaint and the man kept yelling at me. I told him that i cannot control my own bodily functions to the extent he wished i could and that i apologized for taking so long, and still the man was unsympathetic and rude. I threatened again to complain and he did not back down. I wish him to be reprimanded and explained how to conduct courtesy, understanding, and good customer service.

good morning, this morning around 7.00am-8.00am I went to the one of your station(in Ringwood, Christchurch road) to refuel my car and i had have only £10 in cash on me, because that what i want to spend, then when I started refuel, pump was going pretty fast but money clock was going very slow then I stopped at £5 I though there maybe something not right when I went to pay, salesperson told me that I have to pay £32 and then I was in shock and I ask why? then he told me that he forgot to switch something of, I have to say I'm so not happy, I didn't have enough money, and I was forced to use my card which I never do, I'm very disappointed because I was using this point few times a week, we have 2 cars but I dont thing we will be using your service any more.

I am writing to inform you that I was very upset the way the staff at the Texaco station in 1091 Greenford Road, also the manager was very unprofessional and anyone can see that from the way he is talking to the customer.
I went to fill up my car from my local petrol station. After I filled up diesel into my car than I paid to cashier and after 5 second I asked him to put my point into my Texaco point card but he refused to do that. I told to him nicely that I have just paid and I am entitled to get my point but he kept saying it’s too late. I asked him I need to see the manager so he called the manager Mr Diluxa. He came and before asking what the problem is, started to saying Mr Cashier is right and we cannot do anything. So I asked them to provide me with their name and sir name but again they refused to do that.

Mr Kamal is very rude and unapproachable person in the cashier position. Working on their own but unable to make a simple decision. Due to the poor quality of customer service I am taking my business elsewhere and I usually spend about £100 a week on fuel. This is not the first time. I feel that the staff do not want the business and will not put themselves out to help anyone.

I would like to add some issues with this petrol station: No gloves, no towels, air and water pump is most of the time not working.

I am disappointed because the service I have been receiving is unsatisfactory. I look forward to hearing from you regarding a problem. I hope to hear from you soon, if I do not hear from you I will be filing a complaint to a higher office.

Chevron late charges

Mail your payment through the USPS and if they are slow or lose it, you pay through the nose..The customer service department will only tell you that you were late and live with it..The late fee on my situation was larger than my purchase ! Cut up the card and mail it in to them...

Another Chevron gas card complaint: took my family on a trip from Northern CA to Los Angeles. Approx 350 miles each way. On the way back my Chevron card stopped working and I had to use my debit card to buy gas at a Chevron station along Interstate 5. When I got home there was a message from Chevron on my home phone stating that they had detected unusual gas card usage and had suspended the account. What? I took my family to Disneyland! I bought gas twice on friday, once on Saturday and twice on Sunday. No beer, no twinkies, just gas every couple hundred miles! When I called them the customer service person had the nerve to tell me that I should call them before taking a trip. Idiots and [censor]s! I've had a Chevron card for 15 years and never paid late. Ever. I closed the account. BP needs money these days, I'll start buying ARCO gas.

Chevron Credit card ie. GE Moneybank is another working man "rip off". I had a card with Chevron for over 13 years. i always paid the balance in full and on time. I received my bill on Wednesday April 28, 2010. It was due on Sunday May 2, 2010. The earliest i could schedule on line payment with my bank as usual was Monday May 3, 2010. Yes, i got a $39.99 late fee added to my next bill in May.

I called Customer service at Chevron and the represenative, who could not speak very good english, submitted a request to waive the late fee. Of course, the request was denied.

This infuriated me. There's nothing else one can do but pay the damn thing, never do business with Cheveron again, and tell everyone i know, and a lot of others i do not know.

Chevron unfair late charges/refusal to credit despite my offer forr automatic payment to avoid this in future

Re unfair late-fee charges. I have been a Chevron card holder since 1964.I pay my bills in full on time but have found recently that even 7-10 days is not enough mailing time. Other people I know have the same problem.
GE Money Bank who handle their card has refused my request for reconsideration of a small credit despite my offering to go on auto pay to avoid this problem in the future. consequently I am accruing interest charges every month despite my timely payment of current charges.
I am tired of banks nickle and diming and feel that customers like me should be treated with respect--so I will fight for it rather than caancel my card.
If anyone knows how best to do this please post on this site.

I live in Smithers, BC and the gas here is $106.9...63 kms east of here at New Hazelton, BC the gas price is .95 cents a litre...can you please tell me why we are being gouged at the pumps when the price of gas just dropped to its lowest today. The price of gas in Prince George is 77.9. Something is wrong with this picture...I hope you can rectify this asap.

Chevron ge money bank - late posting payment

I mailed credit card payments to five companies on 10/30/09. All posted by 11/5/09, except for the Chevron/Texaco credit card now handled by GE Money Bank, which took 12 days to post my payment. I know that company profits are down from last year, but to DELAY posting of payments to collect a $15.00 late fee is unconscionable.
I had my credit card with Chevron for 34 years and this is a frustrating new experience. After calling to complain and receiving only excuses, I told them to cancel the account and that I would never knowingly use their products again. I also will never pay that $15.00 late fee no matter what!
People beware, this is a new scam of delaying the posting of payments that creditors may now be employing to plump up their falling profits!

Chevron rip off

This station takes the cake! Just newly remodeled, it was my fill up stop. I had stopped in to buy water, ciggaretts and a two candy bars. I watched as the attendant waved the candy bars twice each, while looking at monitor he said that its not registering. I walked out thinking that was a little much for what I had just purchased so I went back in to ask for a recipt. He looked upset and proceeded to print it up for me while I was still holding items in my hands. Attendant took a look and handed recipt to me, I than showed him he had over charged me two extra candy bars. He appologised refuned the money and I left.

Tonight I stopped in for gas and ciggaretts, Gas $60. plus ciggaretts $9.58 Tax $.84 total $70.42. Swiped my AMEX and walked out to pump, Gas stopped at $59.71 I walked in and asked whats going? its only .29 cents but thats not the issue. It seems like you and this gas station has a habbit of overcharging people. He replies its a fee, I reply that I've never been charged a fee and it isnt stated anywhere. He prints a recipt showing 70.13 not 70.42 which I had signed forearlier! No Refund! I called my AMEX and they comfirmed the charge of $70.43 and attendant printed me a recipt indicating it was actually only 70.13 lie! I tooked the copys and attached. Next Stop CDFA(CAL WEIGHT & MESURES) & CHEVRON Complaint dept.
My concern is Leasure World, an elderly comunity that will be taken advantage of unfair business practice. (my mother lives there!)

Yes it is Fraud. There are so many fraudulant job offers, Beware if they want you to give them your banking info so they can pay you upfront before you embark on your new job. Instead youve gave them info to steal right out of your bank account. The same happened to us. Exact same email There is another that asked you to get your Pertroleum Cert for 750.00 thru this company that looks real with a real phone number, but the people are fake and take your money. When you get an offer like this, don't click on the link they provide, GOOGLE the company's real web site.

Chevron deliberately slow payment processing

Chevron deliberately refuses to process payments in a timely manner, and if you pay with the online system, even if you get confirmation, your payment may be deleted. You can tell them you have confirmation and be willing to provide it but you are out of luck.

Per their people, the only way to guarantee timely processing of a payment is to use their phone system and pay an extra fee. Even sending in a check, they can't promise they won't sit on it and let it rack up late fees.

Me and my husband both have Chevron credit cards and we get charged late fees all the time, mail 5 days early, 7 days early it doesn't matter. We were long time customers of Chevron, but no longer. We just shredded our cards and paying our last bills, unless of course we get another late fee. We are fed up!

We own a multi million dollar development corp and after 15years, recently TERMINATED our relationship with Chevron. They TRULY are scam artists, and frankly, I am amazed that their arrogance has not yet materialized into fraudulent misconduct and gross misrepresentation. A class action suit will inevitably happen. We are an A+ rated company, making payments the day we receive them from all our vendors. Chevron DELIBERATELY sends out statements where it is not mathematically possible for payments to be processed prior to a late fee occurring. By the time you receive the statement, write the check, and account for mail transit time...guess what?...its late! When questioned, the billing dept offered a 10 cent gas credit per gallon, which again is a scam; they know by your records what your average usage is and again, it is mathematically impossible to recoup your late fee amount unless you bought hundreds more gallons of gas. Everyone needs to start boycotting these ridiculous companies that think they can bully, and steal, and cheat from us hard working citizens. Do America a favor and CANCEL YOUR CHEVRON CARD TODAY. Buy gas on a credit card that earns you 2% back on your purchases and DON"T BUY GAS FROM CHEVRON.

Chevron failure for pump to cut off

Just filled up at the Chevron on I10 in Van Horn, Golf course exit. My husband was filing up the car and let go to cut off the pump(#7). The gas continued to flow for an additional 1.5 to 2 gallons. The gasoline ended up all over him and the street.

He went in to ask for assistance. The women behind the cash register showed no concern no sense of urgency. Very casually said ok I'll tell someone with no action nor concern for the customer. Continued to stand around and gossip about the customers, openly and loudly.

Problems
1) customer is wet with gasoline, forced to air dry in an enclosed car for am additional 7-8 hours, with family members exposed to the fumes.
2) environmental impact
3) overcharged for gasoline spilled
4) failure to stop the situation from reoccuring to the next customer

This happened to me in Dalhgren Virginia. I can't remember the station but it is on Rt. 301 next to the Burger King. My experience was exactly the same. Quite often I put the gas hose on automatic and this was the first time, the cut off switch did not work. I too got wet with gas, etc. I went it to complain and got no sympathy or redress. The manager was not there. When I got to my destination, I called and I stopped by on my way back to Maryland. Still no luck. Unfortunately, I eventually forgot about it but since then I am very careful not to let that happen to me again.

Chevron awful customer service

Woodys Chevron stations in Kingman AZ has the worst customer service managers and owner I have ever had the misfortune of trying to talk to about a problem with the receipts at the pumps. I use a card at the pump so I can pump and go, every time I go there I am delayed because there is no receipt tape in the machine. This is a problem that the owner and managers don't care about! Also the owner is in the habit of hiring convicted felons, so much for customer service!I and many others in Kingman will not be buying our gas there in the future.

After running some errands today I went in to the Chevron on the corner of Coulter Street & I-40 to get a pack of cigarettes & and Monster energy drink.
When I approached the counter the clerk didn't say hello so I said, "Um, yeah, I'd like this (Energy Drink) & Berkeley Red Shorts please." At the end of my sentence the clerk's cell phone started ringing, he didn't say "excuse me" or anything, he looked at it for a moment, answered it, and started talking. After about one minute I was still trying to be polite, I said "Sir, do you have Berkeley's?". I already knew they did, I was just trying to get his attention. He simply looked at me for a moment and turned around, continuing his conversation. Finally, after about two or three more minutes, I got mad enough that I grabbed my keys off the counter and left the store without saying anything.
I understand people get busy, but I've worked in customer service almost all my life and first of all, you don't answer your cell at a register unless it is business & even in THAT case you politely say to the customer, "I'm sorry sir, this is for business, do you mind if I ring you up while I take it?"
I'm not the type of person to complain like this, I've only done it one other time in my life. I didn't get the guys name I was so hot, all I know is, he was (I believe) an Eastern Indian fellow with a thick accent.
I also do not believe 'the customer is always right', but customer service like this is the type that makes people:
#1) never want to enter a particular place of business again...which I will not!
#2) go to site's like this and complain, which on this one, I'm going to hit them all, INCLUDING Chevron's main website!

At 8:05 a.m. on 7-27-11 I attempted to buy gas here with a new credit card that I'd been using for several days. The cashier asked me 3 times how much gas I wanted to purchase, and 3 times I gave him the answer. Then he told me "That's not a credit card!" and asked me if I had a PIN. I said no, since it wasn't a debit card, and I showed him that it said both "Visa" and "debit" on it and I began to get frustrated, but before I could run another debit card through instead, he began shouting at me--loudly!--that I had no reason to get upset! I then walked out without saying anything else and without making my intended purchase, whereupon he shouted after me, "###!" Another customer was standing inside, wondering what was going on. I went back inside to ask his name since he wasn't wearing a name badge. He wouldn't give his name and began shouting even louder, saying "Get the hell out of here!" Whew! I then drove to a Valero gas station, and paid without a single comment or incident with my that's-not-a-credit-card credit card. Unbelievable. This Chevron cashier is too stupid and too rude to be working anywhere. I pulled into the station to get a lottery ticket. There was a sign on the out side of the building that read lottery would be on (today) Wednesday November 19th. I went inside and the same sign was in the cashier window. I asked the cashier for a lottery ticket and he responded with "it's not on". I suggested he should change his sign. He said it will be on later today(this was already noon). I said he should change his sign to later today then. He responded with "You got a problem sir cause I'll kick your ###". I told him that I would drop-kick his little ### if he tried it. I then left.
I do not know if this is what your company would concider propper guest servive, but I wouldn't. I am the general manager of a corporate store also(different company]. I just thought I should write becaus I have 2 very good friends that work for your corporate headquarters in Houston.

charged late fees--payment was late due to Post Office? paid late fee and interest--payment of these late again, why? billed for new late fees and interest for late payment of late fees and interest. attempted to close account after approx 20 years of being an excellent customer---received an answer of regret that account was closed and an invitation to re open account with the late fees still on my old account. many telephone calls to billing center complaining about the fees and interest---still receiving bill that grows due to late fees and interest on the already late fees and interest. will not pay on something that i do not owe as no one at chevron will listen to my complaint.

about two days ago i pumped gas at the gas station next to my workplace, 3 miles later my car started running weird.
i took it to the dealership and they changed the fuel injectors, It was
surprising to me that after running the car for about 1 mile.. the same problem happened again. that's when the mechanic checked the gas! it was very bad looking gas! i complained at the gas station but they cared less!

I was forced to resign from Retail business unit of Chevron, Thailand after I wrote a complaint letter about my supervisor made a decision non-comply to the company's compliance. After the company set up a team to investigate, I was punished for poor leadership. It is very funny. 6 months before I was forced to resign, the management team gave me good performance score (2+). Per company policy, they have to consider from my performance and behavior. How could a person change their behavior within 6 months. After I asked about the witnesses's names, they claimed that it couldn't be revealed. I don't see this in US courts - Can't reveal the witnesses.

During the time I talked to my supervisor directly, but after he knew I filed a complaint letter. He doesn't have guts to come talk to me. And of course his boss who back him up because they have personal relationship, got to stand up and talked to me. Is this Chevron's way, RBU head dealed with a business consulatant? Pity for Chevron headquarter. Try to deploy "people leadership", LPS. I am telling your people now that your policy or strategies when deply in developing countries are another standard. Really waste company's money.

The most ridiculous I found from this case was that they forced me to resign and yet gave me money of 4 times of my salary which they called "special money". If I really was at fault, why gave me the money. I belief that they are afraid that they might get sue in court. Anyway it's good for me. I am able to start my new life in the US now.

Having been a customer for over 30 years and many dollars I believe there is a move towards people that do not carry a balance on their Chevron/Texaco cards. This recently became apparent when all of sudden I couldn't use the quick card swipe on the pump and it would say "cannot auth" "please see cashier".

So I end up calling these miscreants, first getting someone in India which is always a good time. He says we thought they were fraudulent charges on you card. I say " As in?" he doesn't answer. I say I have the card with me and have been using it as I normally do. He says "Okey dokey" "everything should be ok now". I go to get gas the next day on my motorcycle, same thing happens different station 40 miles from the first one.

Now yes I admit I'm getting a little pissed at this point. Call them again get a young lady that got offended when I say I'm really tired of this sh...t I hope you can understand how frustrating this is. She doesn't so I ask for a supervisor. Some real winner comes on the line and says "if you let me explain" I said sure, you can explain because right about now I'm ready to cancel my two cards since I have no loyalty to any one gas brand.

He starts in on the well we felt that there were fradulent charges in the last 2 weeks on your card. I say as in what kind? He says we don't give out that information" OK now my Irish temper has had enough, I pretty much told him to cancel my cards immediately and to not have such a nice day. I usually don't get mad at these people because I know they are just robots doing the corporate bidding but that was the last straw. "We can't tell you what charges we feel are fraud? WTH knid of bs is that.

Then it dawned on me. In the entire time we've had gas cards, this is pre ATM cards mind you we've always paid the balance every month religiously. I'm of the opinion that they want people like us to cancel the card because other then the initial purchase they make no further money. I'm waiting to see a class action suit down the road s I'm very suspicious.

Check out the only gas station I been to that charges an extra 10 cents per gallon if you pay with a credit card even if the credit card is issue by their own company.

I MADE A DEBIT CARD PURCHASE (PAID AT THE PUMP) FOR GAS ON NOVEMBER 1, 2008 IN THE AMOUNT OF $39.50. AND ITS A GOOD THING I KEEP TRACK OF MY BALANCE IN MY ACCOUNT BECAUSE I WAS CHARGED $75.00 FOR THE GAS INSTEAD! I WILL BE DISPUTING THIS WITH MY BANK AND GETTING A FULL REFUND! WHAT A WAY FOR THE GAS STATION TO RIP PEOPLE OFF ! HOW MANY OTHER CUSTOMERS THAT DIDN'T KNOW THEY DID THIS HAVE THEY TAKEN MONEY FROM? I WILL NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH CHEVRON AGAIN!

Keeping in mind that the gas pumps shut off when you reach $100.00, at the Chevron gas station at 3400 N. MacCarthur Blvd. in Tracy Ca., we were able to put 25 gals. of gas into a 20 gal. tank.
At 14:31:31 hr., on 21Mar11, I pumped gas into my 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe until the pump stopped at $100.00 worth of gasoline. My vehicle only holds 20 gallons and I was not on dead empty as I was able to drive on the lot. At your request, I can e-mail you a PDF of the receipt but, the following is information gleaned from the receipt.

Almost ALL fuel stations do this. Not just Chevron. Most of the time when you use a debit card at the pump a charge is held against it for a few days. That money will be put back. Most pumps display a sign that explains this (I've seen it 90+% of the time) and to get around it is to pay inside. It's not just you and it's not just Chevron.

Chevron false advertising

I heard an advertisement on the radio that "participating Chevrons" were having a sale on 99 cent coffee. I went in to my local Chevron and asked if they were a "participating" Chevron, and they said they were, but that their computer systems hadn't been updated yet with the new sale price, so charged me $1.63 for coffee, instead of 99 cents. I know it's only 64 cents, but it's the principle of it all. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT is unacceptable. Run the ad a day later then, if your computers aren't working yet!

Chevron late fee scheme

Chevron Texaco credit card service have been charging $5.00 for reporting fee for business accounts, which means they send statements by mail.
I complained to them what kind of credit card company charges for the statement, they told me to receive the statements by email, and then they wouldn't charge.
Also they changed the billing cycle by 2 weeks and maximized the late fee revenue recently.
The late fee is on the current balance which includes the new charges. Think of late fee charged on the new charge. It is absurd.
On the top of that, if you pay partial payment, it is not counted as payment in calculating new balance in applying late fee for the next period.
If you have $300.00 due on 8/1, $400.00 due by 8/15, if you miss 8/1 payment, the late fee is based on 400 + 300 = $700.00.
If you make partial payment of $500.00 on 8/16, new charge due on 8/30 is $200.00, and miss the due date 8/30 again, the late fee is based on 300 + 400 + 200 = $900.00. They don't count the payment of 500.00 for ending balance in applying late fee.
By the second time, the percentage they apply to get late fee increases up to 9% since the history shows multiple late fees.
If you talk to customer services, they will keep saying it is the terms and condition, and offer 10 cents per gallon credit instead of waving late fees. Also they will say, we need to pay full amount, otherwise they will consider the customer is not capable of pay the bills.
To get more credit, you just have to buy more chevron gas.

I was charged $75 on a $73.19 charge for a late fee. I made my payment on time through Bill Pay but the payment was rejected due to my Bank sending it to the wrong address. I talked with Customer Service and got the payment made but I was upset about the Late Fee so I decided to cancel the card. I was transferred to Customer Retention and they agreed to remove the Late Fee to keep my business. Guess what? Yep, the Late Fee stayed on the account and now I have an additional Late Fee on the Late Fee! Customer Service shows no notes of them agreeing to take off the fee. I asked them why would I only pay the $73.19 and not the $75 Late Fee when I spoke with Customer Service? Common sense right? No reasonable response. I demanded to speak to a Supervisor. I am now waiting for the phone call. Let's see what happens. Total crooks!

Chevron are criminals!
I paid my card on Friday the 9th about 2PM PST. Got confirmation code. Received my statement with a 75$ late fee and showing they posted it on Monday the 12th. Due date was the 11th. Called them up to complain and they said in order to get posting on the 9th I had to do it before 12PM PST as they do not process payments after that time nor over the weekends. So they posted one day after the due date and hit me with a HUGE late fee. The First I heard of this policy and they said it all in the billing statement print...like anyone reads the small print. I spoke to a supervisor and she offered .10C off each gallon I bought for 2 months. That was so generous...NOT! Plus I have been with them over 20 years. No customer loyalty as Chevron!

Can't believe they can get away with this so I will report them to BBB and wherever else I can. With today's technology they should of posted the day I paid it! RIP OFF

I see this has been going on for a while. We have been a customer for years and never had encountered these "late" charges or interest until this past year. When I called Chevron, it was "explained" to me how we were making a payment late (always by one or two days). When I asked how this can be possible EVERY single month, even though I was making my payments the same day I was receiving the statement, I was told that the mail was delaying the statement from getting to me by 5-6 days. Then my payment was delayed by mail another 6 days or so, and by the time it is recorded in the computer, it is late. I can't believe that my payment to this one vendor is taking this long every single month. I do believe their billing practices to be questionable at best. J. Escajeda - Fontana, CA

I have found the same thing on my bills. Had the account since January and didn't even realize they were assessing $83.99 in "fees" to my $180-220 gas bill every month. That amounts to about a 560% annual interest rate. SCAM! How are these guys in business still. I wish I had the time to fight this battle as this is truly a Crooked business. I was charged 39.00 late fee 2.00 interest for being one day late... My balance was $101.33
which as I mentioned was only one day late. never had been late for over 10 years with chevron. Yes I said 41% late charge on a 101.33 balance, For on month... Is this fair ?

Recently, I had a similar experience with Chevron. Chevron arbitrarily changed my on line bill pay payment due date. I was traveling abroad when they made the change. Because they changed the due date, my payment was 5 days late. A charge of $29.00 was added to my bill. The Indians and Philipinos we spoke to had no interest in helping us. Each time we called Chevron we would reach a "Philipino", Indian or whomever! They can barely speak English and seem insulted when I suggested they go to school and learn how to speak English that is understandable. I even told one "Indian" to tell Chevron executives to go screw themselves. She thanked me for the compliment! Out sourcing is such a pain in the you know what! Prior to this unfortunate scam, we had been customers in good standing with Chevron for 46 years. We no longer do any business whatsoever with Chevron. With Chevron's depressed annual net income ($19 billion was up 81% from its 2009 earnings of $10.5 billion.) I guess they needed my $29.00 to remain solvent! What a scam! Of course, Chevron could care less if they have me as a customer. They are only interested in ripping off their customers. When I called Chevron I was told that it was my problem not Chevron's. Chevron needs another valid class action lawsuit in order to protect consumers.

Well, I ended up cancelling my account. It got so bad that Chevron was'nt even putting "late fee" on my invoice. They were just slipping an extra $39.00 a month on to the invoice for several months. I caught on when I actually totaled my receipts to what the invoice had. Guess what? I had a $39.00 late fee for several months. I even mail my payment in return receipt. They would receive the payment as much as 5 days before it was due yet some how it was'nt being credited to my account until 1 day late. Just long enough for them to get that extra $39.00. I figure they got over $200.00 out of me last year in bogus late fees. Customer service? They are nothing but a bunch of ignorant jokers who argue and state it's all in my contract. So I wrote Chevron a letter with my cut up cards and told them they knew what they could do with them. I would love to see a class action lawsuit against these idiots!

How can a company charge a late fee on a balance that doesn't exist yet!?! I was 2 hours late paying our bill, and they charged us a late fee based on a balance of over $1500...but we have a $1000 limit. I didn't pay the late fee, and they charged me a late fee on a balance of $1300...even though we only had charges of $300 for the month.

CHEVRON/TEXACO WONT ANY MORE OF MY BUSINESS(NOT THAT THEY CARE).I ALSO HAVE USED A BP CARD FOR YEARS AND NEVER EVEN HAD TO CALL THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE.I CANT HELP BUT WONDER IF THE COMPANY EXECUTIVES KNEW HOW MUCH BUSINESS "GE CREDIT"WAS COSTING THEM IN LOST BUSINESS AT THE PUMPS, IN ORDER TO FEED THEIR LATE FEE SCAMS. Chevron extreamly rude emplyee

Dear Sirs.
On Friday, August 21 2009 at 3:11 pm, I was coming home from my Father in laws funeral. it had been a long a painful week for me and my family.
I stopped in at this station ([protected]) Being I was on my 2007 Harley FLHT I was stopping for gas every 100-150 miles on this trip. I had told my credit card company (Visa) that I would be on a trip and making many fuel stops, but after a week of these stops, the card company stopped authorizing at the pump and was requiring me to do this inside.
I am ok with that, But I wanted to use my air miles card, not cash to buy my fuel. I had limited funds for this trip, and I wanted to track my mileage as well.
I went in and asked your employee (Ian) If he could turn the pump on, he said he could not, then I would have to run a 20.00 charge on my card first then he would then run the correct amount and return the 20 to my card.
I have had this done in the past, and I end up being charged for both the gas and the 20, and it turns into a big fight.
I was not willing to do this, at other Chevron stations on this trip I had offered a 20.00 bill as a deposit to turn on the pump, then finished the sale with my card.
As at the other Chevron stations I had stopped at, he said that would be fine, and took the 20, and turned on the pump for me.

Up to this point all was going as it had, I pumped in 3.279 gallons of supreme, and went in to finish the sale, this is when Mr Ian became quite belligerent with me, and shovel the change at me telling me he would not run my card and to take my change.
I asked him to please run this on my card as I wanted to save my cash for the trip, he said he was not authorized to do so and would not.
I was quite take back by his rude demeanor, and took my change from him, and I told him I would be sending this letter of complaint about his rude and unexceptionable behavior.
He then because agitated and told me to get on my bike and never come back.
I said, I beg your pardon, he then repeated that I was to leave and never come back.

I have been a loyal customer of, and at times worked for Chevron stations over the last 35 years, I feel I was treated like an unwanted bumb.
As a ASE master tech, I have always told my customers to use Chevron as there first choice for gas.

But I guess as your employee said, If I am not welcome, then I will never set foot in another Chevron station ever again, or a Texico for that matter(I know you own them also)
And i will make sure all my customers start going to Unical If this is your attitude you except in the way you treat your loyal customers.

I know I never treat my customers this way, and I surely do not want a company I send them to to treat my customers in this way..

I have waited until now to write this as I was quite upset over this and I wanted the time to calm down before writing this to you.
I normal am a nice a pleasant person, but I feel that your employee's behavior should cost him his job.

I know if he worked for me he would be fired.

I stopped at the Chevron gas station in Moorpark to top off the tank and run my truck through the car-wash. Everything was going smoothly until the car-was stopped in the middle of the
service displaying an error msg:
