Chevrolet delayed servicing

I purchased chrome door handle accessories for my2018 colorado. The dealership could not install the handles, because they needed a special tool to be sent from gm. This was three weeks ago and their claim is that they have yet to receive the special tool to do the installation. I know our postal service is sometime slow, but three weeks. Please send the special tool needed to install my handle to the dealer at ourisman chevrolet in rockville, maryland. Thanks

Chevrolet sticker price?

I am the new owner of a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado Custom 4x4 1500. The truck itself is fine, as a matter of fact I love it! My major issue, is about a (UNJUSTIFIED) $200 up charge on the sticker of my truck. This charge that I speak of states that, I am being charged an EXTRA $200 for All-Terrain tires on my new truck. Well, after taking delivery of my truck, on Saturday, the 15th of Sept. 2018 I pointed out to my saleswoman that the tires on my truck, WERE NOT ALL-TEERAIN tires whatsoever! My oldest Son works at a place called discount tire, the 1st time he seen my new truck his comment was "Why do they put car tires, on a truck?" It doesn't take a genius to realize that the tires on my Silverado are P255/55R20 The "P" in the prefix of that tire size, stands for "Passenger Car" & to my knowledge, I do NOT know of a single "Passenger Car" that comes from the factory with All Terrain tires! The name of the tires on my truck are, GoodYear SR-A. I have already taken the liberty of asking Good Year tire Co. themselves. According to a representative of Good Year, the Good Year Wrangler SR-A with a "P" prefix is NOT classified as a " All-Terrain Tire"

It is really hard for me to understand WHY, there is $200 charge on the sticker price of this truck for tires! I can honestly understand that if there actually was some "All Terrain tires" but these tires on my Silverado are $90/ each tire, if I was to go purchase them my self. That alone is 1 of the cheapest tires on the market for a "20 inch" tire! I am not a mathematician by any means, but if you was to break that $200 charge divided by 4 tires, that an extra $50 per tire. If there is actually a person that works for GM, that claims that tire really is a "All-Terrain tire" then that person obviously missed class on the day that was covered!
Though this article is probably a waste of my time, I am still going to Persue this subject until something is done about it. My next post about this issue will be on Facebook. Then Twitter will follow that. If anyone there is wondering how to fix this? It's simple, get me the tires that belong on my truck! Something with enough of a tread pattern, that I won't get stuck in a puddle of mud!

Chevrolet myself we bought a chevy trax 2017

We bought this vechile traded in our chev cruise cause I got hurt and couldn't drive a standard and now this one the ax been fixed still doesn't work and tire pressure gage is on and we are paying 270 Ickes every two weeks for a vechile that doesn't work right trying to deal with chev dealer in st Stephen nb who said they fixed it it isn't fixed right I'm getting no where I need help I hope someone can help us ASAP cause if this keeps happening every time we buy a chev I will never ever buy a chev again hope to hear from someone ASAP thanks so much [protected] or [protected] ask for Michael yorke or Melissa merrill we are not impressed and hope to get this resolved or a new vechile with a lower payment thanks

Chevrolet 2104 chevrolet silverado

I bought my 2014 Chevy Silverado used in 2017. It had about 34000 miles on it. It now has 74583 miles. I noticed the other day that in my roof right above my front windshield the instinct started to flake off. I got closer to see if something had hit it and the was no sign of impact. And the vehicle had never been in a wreck. And the area of fishing keeps getting bigger each day. I took it to my paint and body shop and he said that he has seen quite a few white Chevy and gmc trucks eighth the same issue. So I am going a complaint because the instinct should not be coming off, much less on a 4 year old vehicle that I take very good care off. And I know GM had had many paint issues in the past. Im not ordering to have my roof fixed just to have it start in another area right after.

Chevrolet car damaged in “freak accident”

I was driving ny car on highway one headed out to white city when a wind drift caught the hood and it flew up and hit and smashed my windshield, causing me to have to stop and the vehicle behind me slammed on their breaks, and then that car collided with a semi. I have missed 2 days of work so far, as well as my child missing school. My insurance company has deemed it a freak accident and figure that because of the year of my car it will more than likley be totalled. Which for a single mom is devastating. I don't know what my next step is. Thanks

Chevrolet cost to replace hvac actuator door on 2012 camaro

I bought my Camaro new in 2/2012. This was the 2nd Camaro I had owned. No problems until November 2017 when I had no heat and no A/C. Took it to an auto garage and the guy told me he'd have to pull out the dash and take out the windshield to get to this part and replace it (the HVAC actuator door). The part was less than $400 but the labor was about 12 hours at $50 an hour and then they could not guarantee that the glass wouldn't break so they would be potentially another $250-$300. Bottom line is, I think this is horrible design to require the dash be removed and the front windshield? How idiotic are you people? It's going to cost me close to $2000 to repair this. Then I will have concerns about a rattling dash for the life of the car. I'm going to sell it and buy a Ford!

Chevrolet 2011 chevy malibu, passenger door could not open

On 11/14/17 the passenger door would not open from inside or outside the car. My wife had to climb over the seat to get out of the car. We were fortunate not to be in a accident where she could have been hurt or worst. I called the NTSB and listed the complaint(complaint number [protected])and also called GM. I saw this problem was noted many times on computer links. I took the car to Chevy Turnersville to find out what was wrong. They found that the front door lock actuator was bound and had to replace it . Since this was a safety issue and the part was defective I think I should be reimbursed the $372.74 I had to pay to have this problem resolved.

Chevrolet failure of engine balance chain and fuel pump

Chevrolet knew of this problem as described in Document # 4821148 which was sent to dealers.
GM knew as early as July 1913 the condition existed, as they sent out a letter to owners on that date, however I did not receive this letter advising of probable failure.
Now I find out that my vehicles balance chain is failing and the dealer advises
me they won't cover it because GM or Chevy put a limit of 120, 000 miles and I have 133, 000 miles.
My complaint is, GM knew of this weak system and it's probable failure,
however decided to "wait and see" with applying a mileage limit to a known
condition.

Chevrolet too many car repair issue that are costly

I purchased a 2011Cchevy Cruse in 2013 it ran fine for a year. In 2014 every thing started to break down on this vehicle. I had the thermostat replace. the engine work and the the transmission, the radiator worked on and know the engine overheating sensor is now on. This repairs are costing me about 2000 everything I bring the car to the shop. Which I feel is unfair to buy a car that does not work but for a minute and the something else breaks down. I taken my car into Mark Chevrolet wayne, mi so may time it is terrible to pay for a car you fix on every couple of months.

Chevrolet unethical behaviour

I purchased a 2015 Buick Enclave from Champion Chevrolet, Buick, GMC in Lagrange Kentucky on July 26, 2017. While I have no problems with the vehicle but in the process of my purchase I found that there was no owners manual with this car. The car is also missing a insert panel that covers the trailer hitch in the rear of vehicle, part # [protected]. This was not noticed by me until I got home with the car. I had been told by a salesman that this part was removed so the dealership could take pictures to show people that there is in fact a trailer hitch on this car. I drove from Cleveland Tennessee to Lagrange Kentucky (320 miles) to purchase this certified vehicle. I was told the day of the sale that this manual would be sent to me and also ask them to locate this part as well. When I waited three weeks before calling them I did talk to the sales manager and he said that he thought that I would already have received this manual and he said I will check with the parts dept. And call me back in 15 minutes. That has been over a month ago and I have not been able to reach this individual as they will not return my calls. A very poor way to operate a business.
If I have to purchase these items I am in over $100.00

Chevrolet new vehicle-worthless service, sales and dealership i've came across

I purchased a 2010 Chevy equinox from Chevrolet of Wooster five months ago. Within the first couple hours of signing the papers my boyfriend found the exhaust leak along with other things he thought to be an issue. He demanded we return the dirty uncleaned piece of junk I had just purchased which I'm embarrassed to admit, but felt as if I were brain washed into a good deal along with a worry free and safe vehicle. I went directly back to Chevy Of Wooster and they refused to take it back! Just 2 hours later! Somehow I was convinced by the sales manager I would be well taken care of so I didn't take it any further. The next week I took it in to their service dept to have the vehicle cleaned up and detailed as a dealership would typically do in advance along with the safety inspection and then also for the exhaust leak repair. It was returned to them three more times for the same problem with exhaust until they finally got it right and replaced the exhaust under the 30 day warranty. They had kept the car so long that my temporary tags expired and I had to drive home illegally because they would not give me another temporary tag. Now, only a few months later I broke down on the road and cannot drive my car. Come to find out the transmission has gone out and it has not even reached 100, 000 miles. I thought maybe due to all of the trouble I've had since the purchase of this vehicle I called the general manager of the dealership who basically said he couldn't help me even though I purchased it five months ago and have already had a repair and now a major issue since the transition has gone out. I was then forced to have a local mechanic look at it who quoted me $3500 to replace this transmission with a rebuilt one he also told me there were codes on this vehicle referring to the issue with the transmission that would have been found by the dealership and I was never told. I also found out that between 2008 and 2011 these makes and models we're having transmission failures and they still refuse to do anything about it. I think that is terrible service when it comes to a purchase so big and when you rely on this to get to work each day and transport your child! I can definitely say if I sold something that was already a piece of garbage to someone and I was guilty of knowing there were major issues I certainly would do something to help especially being only five months from the purchase date. I have made as many people aware of Chevrolet of Wooster that I can. I hope this gets back to them and they feel like a bunch of ### because they have poor customer service, poor business, inconsiderate lying uncaring ###. They are out for the money without any care as to what they have done to their customers. It's so sad I started with my salesman, moved on to the sales manager who was "there for me anytime" to the GM of the dealership who couldn't have cared less. So it's up to me to make a monthly car payment figure out how to get to work each day while trying to figure out how to replace the transmission.

Chevrolet poor rotors and pads

Hello. My name it tammy oswald and I own a 2011 chevrolet avalanche. Original/only owner. It's rotors and pads are shot with only 14k miles on it. That is over a $400 repair bill for a vehicle with only 14k miles on it? Seems very unreasonable. The vin # is 3gntkee3xbg154163. Chevrolet 2008 chevy silverado

I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado. The truck has been garage kept and taken very good care of. I have had a crack in the dash by the passenger airbag for sometime. Now there is a large crack, about 8 inches, in the dash above the stereo. It just came from no where. There is many reports of this happening in the 07-13 trucks and suv's and there has been no recall. I have read about GM giving assistance in the cost of replacement due to this issue. Yet on my vehicle I'm told nothing can be done. As stated, there has been many many reports of this issue and I am highly dissappointed, especially due to the cost of these vehicles. It's definitely enough to make me think twice before buying another GM product.
