Cherokee Cabin Rentals / Customer disrespect

We (my brother and mom) and myself reserved a cabin (Slippery Rock) on March 18th for 7 nights. We were very upset upon arrival to find that the roads to get to the cabin were very steep and not paved. We had a Nissan Altima and we had to take running jumps to try to get to our cabin, not one but two times just to get to cabin and the same getting out. Then to get onto main road to go to town, we would continuously bottom out. Our car was smoking and the undercarriage I am sure is damaged. We left the cabin early in our stay, on the 22nd. We went ahead and headed to Pigeon Forge. We were tired of being confined to the cabin as we did not want to fight the roads to get in and out and damage our car further, not to mention the nearest town was 45 minutes away and the only restaurants were Hardees and McDonalds. There was absolutely nothing to do, and we were in the middle of nowhere. Upon leaving that morning, I placed a call to the office personal to please call me regarding a two night refund (due to lack of communication regarding the roads), no one called me until March 27th. I was then informed the owner would call me regarding the refund request. I waited until March 31st and began calling them again due to no return phone call. Finally on April 6th, when I called and yet again receive their answering machine, I explained I was going to call Better Business Bureau and Chamber of Commerce and the lady in the office immediately picked up. (Why she did not answer phone is strange, great customer service huh?), she then preceded to tell me the owner was out of town on business (no one could tell me this between the 31st and the 6th?, again great customer service. She said the owner would be getting in touch with me. I again waited till the following Monday evening to see if he would call on Monday upon arriving back in town. When I arrived home on the 10th of April (Monday), again I found no return phone call and started calling. No return call until today April 14th. The guy in the office stated the owner would be calling me (probably within the next two months with their track record), and he was not the friendliest person. This company has continuously showed how disrespectful their are to customers. Usually companies would try to make it right with thier customers so they get good reviews. I have never seen a company tell you on their voice recordings to leave a message and they will get back with you and I would go a week or two weeks at a time and they would not call me back. Also, I would call at different times between 8am and 8pm, and they would never answer their phone, are they ever there? Just wanting to let you know about this company and hopefully future customers will also know as to not waste their time going there. We definetly will never be back.
