Dear CEO,
My name is Titus Lucas and I am one of your partners. When my business joined your partner program it was under an impression that you were a reputable business. However, since I have set up www.knightict.com I continue to be set with staff that do not understand my organisations aims nor care for the fact that we are here as a business.

I have repeatedly asked for help on items required in order to begin the business and setup our store front so we can start to make a profit for the social agenda that I once communicated with senior executives. Though our idea is new and unique I have found your staff almost unresponsive with a mind-set to discourage the idea although we have good backing from high net worth individuals and public organisations globally.

When I approached your business, it was with business in mind and I did not ask for any concessions as Knight ICT’s business model supports our charitable aims as well as our aim to make a profit. Today staff ask that I drop a hard copy of a business plan when we have sent a digital copy; I really do not want to meet your personnel for lunch unless necessary nor do I need staff dictating to me. Moreover, your staff are asking that I change our business structure in order to meet your distributors needs so that they can provide credit facilities, credit I add that my stakeholders and I do not require.

Lately, your business mentioned that we can get paid for subscribers that would like to try out your services and I was told to just include the link. But since then the page as change that reflects nothing of the sort this is whilst the distributor continues to quiz me about the matter as if he was non-aware of the promotion. But there continues to be a pressurised selling approach for me to pass on our various business contacts to you, which I am reluctant to do as I am sure sales as well as any profits will not be passed on to Knight ICT though we have spent a lot of money preparing for your business and getting our partners ready. This really seems unprofessional and I am sorry but I deeply feel discouraged because of the personnel that is currently working with Knight ICT. Can you or someone senior intervene in resolving this matter. I look forward to hearing from you.

A year ago I purchased ZoneAlarm Pro 7 online and have been using it since. A few weeks ago I got a subscription expiration popup. The next day I clicked on "Renew" which took me to their subscription renewal website. I put in all the pertinent information but the page kept returning with a message saying my license had expired. (Duh, no kidding).

I contacted support and they only stated that I would also have to purchase a new license because my old license had expired.

So I popped the question to them, "Do I have to purchase the software AND a subcription fee every year?" Over the next 8 to 10 days I got 3 more emails from them, but none of them answered the question.

I finally got snitty with them and told them it was a pretty simple "Yes or No" answer and asked them to explain.

They wrote back telling me that if you don't renew your license (not your subscription mind you) every year, then the license goes away and you have to pay an extra $10.00 for a new software license!

I told them that this was a total rip-off, especially since I had only just got a subscription notice.

I told them in capital letters; Feel free to pass this information on to your upper management "YOU HAVE LOST ANOTHER CUSTOMER!

It seems to me that this type thing should be illegal. I already know it's immoral. There was nothing saying that I had to re-purchase the software, nor was there anything saying you had to renew your license every year. The only thing I saw was you have to renew your subscription for updates every year, which I already knew about.

I don't even know what the procedure is or how it is even accomplished. There's nothing in the software that tells you, and I've been all through ZoneAlarm to configure it.
