CheapDiscountSupplements.com review: Beware 42

I ordered some health and fitness supplements from a website called cheapdiscountsupplements.com. However as soon as i clicked "pay now" on their website my pc screen went blank and i did not receive any error or indeed any confirmation of the transaction. In fact their website claimed i had no orders outstanding and still had the items in the shopping trolley. Foolishly i repeated the order (i thought there was some technical error or a time out had occured) and guess what, the same thing happened, the screen went blank.

Immediately i tried to contact them by phone but only got a recorded message claiming all customer advisers were busy. I tried twenty or thirty times that day. I also sent a message through their website explaining i had mistakenly ordered twice and enquired if there was a problem with their website.
No reply was forthcoming.

I checked my bank balance transactions and the money had been debited twice. No sales invoice or confirmation was received.

I did some digging on google and my suspicions were confirmed. Numerous stories of orders not being fulfilled and scam and rip-off claims. Please do not use this company as you will lose your money.

I have never received the product ordered, i gave up after three months of trying, scammers is what they are, do not use.

No its not safe they still owe me, they will send you fakes if they can, and they show products as in stock when they are not.
and when you order it will be awaiting shipment then the excuses then your order will disappear. stay well away.

Oh what a load of ###! the bloke who runs this website is a con artist who has been doing this to people for years, well, MIKE DELVIN if thats his real name, ill be taking my complaint and every forum post and email you have sent me straight to police, you cant be allowed to keep getting away with this, people have to work f#@king hard for their money you ###!

After alot of redials to CDS number advertised on there website i decided to phone www.phonefromhere.com to see if it is a real extension and nobody was conveniently logged onto that location.

I have now contacted my bank although i did only order a few days ago after reading all of these reviews and the lack of bieng able to contact the company i will be using the chargeback that visa offer which is on my card. I advise anybody else to avoid this company due to the lack of bieng able to contact them!

I placed an order for £60.97 on some BSN supplements, which i know are very good. The order seemed to take ages to come and i couldnt get any contact from cheapdiscountsupplements. I then receieved an email saying the order was cancelled! I receieved no refund and no products.

I will be quite happy if you send me either a refund or some products.

They used to be good but its went downhill this year. If you paid on a Visa Debit card you can get your money back though the Visa 'Chargeback' scheme. There is no min or max value for this refund. Ask at your bank. Many staff will not know about it so ask for supervision if they dont. Trading standrads signposted me in this direction. The chargeback works the same way if you paid by credit card and the money comes from cheapdiscountsupplements.

Guys I am in the same mess as most of you. I ordered goods worth £65.23 few days ago but got suspicious because there was no email confirmation (which genuine websites do send). So I tried to get their phone number, which is not published on their website. I have emailed them for several times but there is no reply...I genuinely believe this website is a scam, and will report to MET e-crime unit and trading standards...plz do not order from these ###.

I ordered Animal Cuts and Super Pump from them on the 11th July and still have not received my order despite several email replies claiming that the goods were in-transit. I am not holding out much hope of receiving anything from them at all. Seems like an absolute scam!

I ordered Gaspari Plasmajet 30 days supply 2 weeks ago and haven't received the product.

I made an order from CheapDiscountSupplements.com at the end of May for more then £100 after my order went to ''awaiting shipment'' a week later I contacted them by email and never received a replie. I contacted my bank and they said I couldn't do anything as I payed by debit card (doh!). I then tried ringing the company but no joy, I was then about to send a letter to my banks HQ too see if they could actually do anything when my items arrived at my door 36 days later. Everything was there and all in a good expiry date, although this is still wrong that it took 36 days and their customer service is non existent I'm just happy that I got my products and didn't lose any money. Good luck everyone.

I have had the same problem. Orderd on the 7th of June and still waiting. They said if not here by today, e-mail them so I did but no reply. They are a SCAM! I went to my bank who said they can not do anything. Than I rang them up and said I would have to wait 30 days before they can do an investigation. So will have to wait a few more days to see what they can do for me. I wish I could get my hands on the ### who run that site and ### who rip people off!

I have had the exact same problem with this website as many others have had. However I recieved an email from cheap discount supplements this morning stating that they would be sending my product after a months delay. Has any one else been emailed by them?

i do honestly hope that this situation is sorted for you all as soon as possible, as i said im not here to defend a company im here to ensure that an individual that is no longer connected to this company is targeted at his home adress for matters he cannot assist with.

Complaints.com have been told to remove his home address "RME1" can do this him/her self and it would be appreciated rather than having to go through formal proveedings to remove that adress.

Once again i do hope you all receive your funds or goods that you are entitled too as a consumer.

That is the correct regsistered office which letters should be sent and any legal proceedings in accordance with the company act 1985.

the company registration number is SC339629.

refunds cannot be obtained via banks etc unless you paid by a credit card - i paid by switch and so have notified trading standards in glasgow and will be serving legal proceedings against Muscular Development Ltd at the R/O office address for breach of contact and the sales of goods act 1979.

there are numerous complaints about CDS failing to send orders out and ignoring customer complaints.

Trading standards are also making enquiries as to why they have removed their telephone number from the website.

Something needs to be done about this company!

I have also just been scammed by this website/person, I ordered at the beginning of May and have still not received my goods.

Please note that I have done some research and found that this website is hosted by the Company rackSpace on one of their servers which the website owner rents.

If you email abuse@rackspace.co.uk and complain to them that the website cheapdiscountsupplements.com is hosted on one of their servers and is a scam, they will be able to remove the website.

There run by Muscular development that adress if you look it up is a registered adress of an account firm, the related adress to Chris Kenneley is his home address and should have never been posterd on such a board, court action can and will be taken against complaints.com to remove this if they do not do so as they have already been approached regarding this.

im not here to defend CDS i understand and agree that you are entitled to take action against them however i am here to prevent personal information from resulting in attacks all be it through letters to the incorrect person.

im sure you can see that despite your problems with a company an individuals information especially that of a person who has no ties to Cheap Discount Supplements any longer should suffer by having his home adress posted.

regarding refunds if you contact your banks/credit card providers you can and will get your money back this is a right as a consumer that you have and will result in a refund regardless of id the company issues this or not your banks will take the money from them.

so once again kindly refrain from posting personal information on individuals you have only partial information regarding, breach of privacy is not acceptable for any individual.

Well, prehaps if cheap discount supplements were fullfilling customer orders and not messing us about then no one would even need to post here about them!

Cheap Discount supplements are not run by Sport and Supplements ltd please check your company registration details before posting things like this.

also its against the T&C to post any home adresses of an individual on such a board when relating to a company.

Hi people soo wish id read this before ordering but a well you live and learn i wont be doing it again, luckly i ordered using a visa debit and the bank will issue a credit to my acconut if i do not revice the goods withing 30 days.

I have now got trading standards involved in glasgow. they have received numerous complaints about this lot already - and amazingly they have spoken with them too. so i would urge everyone to contact T/S as they seem to be able to get more joy than an individual.

Have same problem with them - ordered £150 worth of supplements back on 28th April and still not received the goods or any response to the 7 or so emails I have sent (for both a response and refund!). Have rung them almost every day but nobody ever answers - bunch of thieving cowboys!

same here ordered animal pak and pump 3 weeks ago, their phone number does not work and now they have taken it down. I have sent a message on facebook for an explaination, If i dont get a reply i think ppl should start alerting other "fans" on his facebook of this scam in addition to calling up consumer direct on [protected]. i think they are investigating this matter but the more ppl ring up the better.

i had same problem a few months ago, ordered around £150 worth of stuff that never arrived. They eventually gave me a tracking number for royal mail which didn't exist in royal mails system and the order was too big to go royal mail anyway!
They also tried telling me that royal mail tried to deliver but nobody was home, i work from home so i knew that wasn't true. Looks like they're telling other people the same story, people then ask for a refund which they may or may not give but if they do its minus the postage.
I contacted trading standards but it looks like they've done nothing about it as the "company" is still running, luckily i paid on credit card though so they got my money back for me.

I ordered some stuff from Cheapdiscountsupplements. I had an e-mail to say it was shipped on 9/5/10...nothing received yet. I have made repeated phone calls and sent e-mails each day. I had an e-mail from them on 21/5/10 to say they were looking into it. Have not heard anything else. have now been in contact with trading Standards in Glasgow and they are dealing with it. They really are the worse suppliers ever. I ordered supplements nearly 2 months ago, took over 4 weeks for them to send anything out. So no probs, until i opened the packing and realised it was out of date. They are currently refusing to pay the costs of returning their out of date product, its their mistake and they want me to pay the costs of postage. No way am i throwing good money after bad at them.

Might be an idea to post some of these issues on facebook so they finally sit up and take note!

I ordered On Whey from them, due to many delays Emails exchanged, I canceled the order only for half of the goods to arrive some six weeks late, I'm now trying to get the balance of my order, don't use them.

I ordered 60 quids worth from these ###. Their website doesn't have any record of the sale. They don't answer the phone or reply to emails. proper *****. Worst of all, because i used my debit card the bank don't want to know. They've got the cheek to flaunt their wares on facebook as well. Something has to be done!
