JPMorgan Chase bad treatment by them

I was late on my bill once in four years. I have been getting calls from [protected], and [protected] every day, twice a day, even on sundays, for the last two weeks now. On 9-26-12, at about 12:30pm, a woman from there called me who was nasty and talked so fast she wouldn’t let me get a word in edgewise. She asked me when I was going to make my next payment and tried to say that my statements from chase had been coming back to them undeliverable, which is not true, and a lie. I’ve gotten every statement chase has ever sent me. Then she’s asking me if my address was valid. Who does this woman think she is to talk to me like that and what’s it to her? Instead of harassing me, why not offer help to someone who can’t pay their bill because of financial difficulties after losing their job, like me? She never once asked if I needed counseling. I contacted jp morgan chase’s executive office in ny executive. [protected]@chase.com, and also deborah walden who is the vice president of card services, and of course I got no response from them. That’s terrible they let this company get away with harassing and treating people like they do.

I keep getting calls from them several times a day. Woman speaking foreign language would not identify who she was with, at least not that I could understand. Couldn't tell why they were calling.

call me 4 times a day or more everyday starting at 8 am - 9 pm answered it once and said hello then they hung up never answered after that every where i look they say its chase but i have never been associated with chase in any way im only 19 and have only had 1 bank account and not with them

JPMorgan Chase questionable billing practice

Chase Health Advance is very is payment terms are misleading and the website used to make payments is horrible. The website allows you to setup automatic payments to come out of your checking account each month. Sounds great, but no matter when you setup the account it takes 2 billing cycles to start. I setup a automatic payment 15 days prior to the due date and thought I was all set. Much to my suprise I was hit with at $25 dollar late charge on my next statement because the auto pay did not start. I called and their customer service is terriable. I had actually paid $2, 500 extra on my account before this happened, so I argued that my account had been paid ahead and I technically didn't not owe the minimum payment since I paid extra. They would only waive the $25 charge when I agreed to make 2 payments even though the next one wasn't due yet.
A few months later I had a problem where I cancelled the auto pay prior 3 days prior to the due date becuase I didn't have any funds left in the HSA account. They still tried to take it from that account and hit me with a $25 charge when it was returned. They would not refund that charge.
Website is very difficult to use.

JPMorgan Chase failure to release payment

JP Morgan Loss Draft dept in Florence SC [protected]
Our company did water damage mitigation work for a mortgage holder in 2011. We've been trying to obtain the endorsement of JP Morgan for our mitigation work in 2011. State Farm insurance has reissued three checks to Servpro & JP Morgan which have been sent to JP Morgan and have disappeared into a black hole. The JP employees lie about the status of the checks contradicting each other with requirements of the homeowner and Servpro. On 9/16/12 I was told the endorsed check was sent to the homeowner although his name was not on the check. Today the homeowner called me to let me know he did not receive the check but more paperwork to sign and return to Florence SC. Today I, Joe Barrett, the owner of Servpro of S Lancaster was disconnected three times by the JP Morgan call center in Florence, SC. They will not connect me with a supervisor so I am unable to deal with the situation.
This has been an ongoing situation for over 12 months. We are owed $4, 772.86 and JP Morgan continues to run the homeowner and Servpro in circles.

With the assistance of naca we negociated a modification in which according to naca chase mortgage would lock me into a 2% interest rate for the life of the loan. After the negociation
Came into agreement chase sent me an increasing interest rate form 2% ending in the next 5 years,
Tend at 6.5 % which to avoid forclosure I agreed as long as we can continue to negotiate the 2% interest for the life of the loan. Also on the negotiations was the fact of reducing the principal
Of the loan.In my neigborhood the same house is worth 150, 000. My loan amount with interest and penalties has risen to 378, 000.
I called chase and asked for assistance and they refered me to www.Natiionalmortgagesettlement.com were with their help endded up calling the florida attoney generals office and was advised to send this complaint.
I also called chase in regards to tropical store debbie during july 16 through july 21st were my house sustained water damage not covered by my homeownwers insurance. Chase placed me on a modetorioum solution which would allow me to use money for repairs to the home. The time frame given was 90 day's coming up oct 2nd 2012 and they want the 90 day mortgage amount due.
I am a sales consultant for hudson's furniture and as the economy roles affects my overall income.
I'm on a 100% commision pay structure. Before joining my current job I was earning twice as much as i'm earning today. My modificaton was based then on that past earning rate. Today it's difficult for me to meet those requiements and this is my home for 8 year's. I've battle 1 foreclosure and 2 modification's. The house is in excellent condition whit the now exception of floor damage due to the storm mentioned.
What i'm trying to resolve is the reduction of the principal with the assistance of naca and chase and your office as mediators. Chase said that I could not submit a claim to be included in the settlement claim signed in and about april 4th 2012. I was not included or given the opportunity to file and or be considered for this, and possibly be included for that pricipal reduction plan.

JPMorgan Chase identity theft and fraud

Chase Auto Finance used my online banking information without my consent. They setup recurring online transactions to debit my checking account. I disputed the transactions. Chase stated that they had the right to deduct automatically without notifying me or obtaining my authorization. In addition, Chase Auto Finance has filed derogatory information to the credit bureaus.

JPMorgan Chase payment not credit to account

I paid off my mortgage balance ($600 per the payoff statement) with an EFT payment before the time listed on the payoff statement. Then I never received another monthly statement from Chase. Several weeks later, I went in to Chase to check why the payoff and reconveyance documents were not received by me, I found out that Chase did not close my account even though it had a zero balance (according to the payoff statement). They continued to charge me interest on an previous higher balance making me now "owe" over $100, which had to paid in order to get the property reconveyed. The amount owed would have grown forever had I not contacted them about the reconveyance. They really couldn't explain why I was stuck paying the extra money--only that the account wasn't closed because my final payment was sent Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) instead of cashier's check--even though I had paid all that was owed. This is certainly unethical, but illegal?

I am having similar issues. I overpaid Chase and they continued charging me interest because I did not request a payoff. They never mailed me a statement either because of zero balance (I think). But I checked on-line and I have to go to the branch to pay them their interest. I will probably will not try to get my money back because I know that I will waste more time over the phone with them beside the hour long trying to fix this problem.

JPMorgan Chase soo limited in the time of make a paymt.

I have been in a difficult situation with Chase Auto Finance since the beginning.
Occur that I have a car loan with them and the methods of paymt of chase of soo limited at the time of make a paymt every month is every time more and more difficult and complicated why? because they doesn't accept debit/credit cards, I don't receive an invoice in my mail every month, they only use Western Union which is expensive and the other methods too. Please, guys you should find or improve any other way of easily pay. if not I'll be returning my car to the dealer even if my credit is hurt!

JPMorgan Chase I need fellow complaintants to make this damn bank pay for their incompetence

I have been in Mortgage hell with Chase (formally WAMU) for going on 6 years now. They double paid my taxes, totally screwed up my account and destroyed my credit. SIX years ! In a final attempt to save my home I applied for a Modification... 3 years ago! After monthly inquiries, sending the SAME information to them 6 times, never talking to the same person twice and me hounding them on a monthly basis for a decision on the modification I was finally told I was NOT approved because of 'numerous"reasons. I have a lawyer doing everything he can from keeping the Wolf at bay and stealing my house from me. In the meantime I have decided I am just TICKED enough to file a class action suit against these crooks! I know of three families just in a 6 block area that have the SAME bank doing the SAME thing to them. To file a class action we need at the minimum 10 complaintants! If you live in or near the Toledo, Ohio area and have been though a foreclosure or feel you too have been led on and ripped off by this bank please, PLEASE contact me via Email. If you have already lost your home to these crooks, again contact me via Email. I am NOT a lawyer! I am NOT trying to sell anything! I am NOT promising results! I need fellow complaintants to make this damn bank pay for their incompetence !

JPMorgan Chase modification fraud

I was laid off my job back in 2010, after falling 3 pmts short I called Chase to see if I could add my late pmts to the end of my note, now employed again with a better job.Chase said no an told me best option was to modify my loan, sounded great, hoping to modify my mortgage under HAMP, We were told by Geoff at chase bank to stop making any pmts until we are approved for modification. Only to be approved, make all my trial pmts then told they never received our final agreement signed. Absolutely absurd! We told them to send us the paper if they lost it an we would resign it an fax it over but no they said we have to reapply once again for modification an Geoff was taken off our case bc he never kept record of our calls, now we keep getting denied over an over again bc of #1. A final agreement chase says we opt out of LIE! #2. Our income didn't change. An other gibberish lies, we have been fighting Chase for two years. Plus while we thought we were in a modification Chase had us in foreclosure! We've been served papers, we've fought sheriff's sale dates all while in modification!
Jp Morgan's Chase unit drove us deeper into debt by prolonging the modification process through "gross ineptitude, " adding fees to my loan already in default and starting foreclosure while my modification was being negotiated. This whole thing has been a futile modification process that Chase had no real intention of honoring! Papers being lost or according to chase "never received" It's foreclosure abuse, lender abuse! An I will not lose my home when I can make monthly pmts an I never wanted a foreclosure. How did 3 months behind get me to 2 years behind bc of Chase banks "modification" its not fair an I want justice

Chase had our family car repossesed today ...Big mistake on my part for even thinking of entering into a binding contract with this company...Even showed the lady my proof of payment...No wonder they are collapsing...going to make sure our president gets an e-mail on this also...We wouldn't want losers like this in business...also tried to set up automatic payment plan, this guy Mike(condescending SOB) was belittling me...so let's see this company crumble...

Chase Auto hired a company to come reposes my car. I had no problem with that my problem is the company they hired destroyed my yard and septic system by driving through my yard. I understand they have a right to their property but they DO NOT have the right to destroy your property in the process. I have filed charges against the repo company and when i called Chase to inform them of what happened they were very RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL! They did not even check out the company they hired because the person sent to my home was not bonded and when the police ran his record he was on probation. So that makes me wonder what all kinds of people are they sending on our property. Do not I repeat Do not ever use Chase Auto! Another question why do we as taxpayers keep giving them bailout money? They are defiantly not here for the consumer.

I want to joi a class action against Chase Auto! A year ago they repoed our SUV. To date the SUV is still in our name and the TAG is missing! Chase claims the SUV was damaged and had hi miles our records show that it was taken 2 months prior to Chase documentation. They also sold it for less then a grand, yet the loan is for over 7 grand. No way is this SUV worth only a grand! We were told to wait for the hardship program and we were not offered this program, Chase just took the Auto! They need to be sued that will but a end to their Fraud and illegal business practices! Also Chase never sent us a notice to pay balance on SUV..so we couldnt even save it..and Chase would not let us sell it!

JPMorgan Chase unauthorized electronic withdrawal

I had a business checking account with Chase Bank that I recently closed. The reason I closed it is because they allowed a company to withdraw a thousand dollars from my account without even asking my approval. This company went and withdrew my funds not only once, but twice. When I realized this occurred I questioned Chase and asked them to please stop the payment. The manager at the Chase bank told me that the money had already been removed that day and there was nothing they could do on my behalf. I then asked the manager how this company could just electronically withdraw money from my account without my authorization and he wasn't sure how this occurred. I personally feel what Chase Bank is allowing happen is against the law. They should keep monitor if companies are trying to remove large amounts of money from a person's account. I am very upset with Chase and hope to pursue a lawsuit against them.

JPMorgan Chase chase just wants yourmoney, not your business

I have a FHA loan at 6.25% and have been waiting for the NEW FHA Streamline Refi so I could get a lower APR. I have made all of my payments and have never been late. I contacted Chase because they have my checking, savings, and business accounts. They said that the refi would be easy and that I qualify. All I had to do was to give them $398 which I would recieve back when the loan closes. I waited and waited for weeks, I was told that my loan was sent to underwriters. Hum, the new FHA Streamline does NOT require an underwriter nor do they require a credit check, ratios, etc. Chase processed my loan like it was a convencial loan as well as stated that I did not have enough money in my account to cover closing costs. Really, I had over $10, 000 sitting in my checking account. Chase took my money with NO intent of refinancing my existing loan. There loan process is a scam where they just rip people off, taking their money and running. All I want is my money back. Dont refi with Chase, you will be turned down and your money will be gone. I am in the process of filing multiple complaints. This is an illegal practice that needs to be stopped!

JPMorgan Chase beware of big banks

BEWARE of BIG Banks! Chase bank in particular. If you pay extra to pay down your mortgage. They will apply it to future interest payments and not your PRINCIPAL. In fact they charged the same exact amount in interest x2 on the same day and put the paltry amount left on the principal. This happened several time and I didn’t notice. My interest if paid for 6 months but not the extra on principal. This means that the interest amount also does not go down. WATCH out BIG BANK will fleece ;you any way they can. There computer is not programed to question, just keeping prepaying interest which only an idiot would do and not the principal.

JPMorgan Chase loan modificatin

My 78 yr old mom recently had a pacemaker inserted due to arrythmia and anxiety poblems. I am disabled, and have suffered a myriad of health issues in the past ffew years. My mom and i live in the home and severl years ago we requested a loan modification.
It took three (3) years for chase to complete the mod and they increased the monthly mortgage amount from $1020.00 to upwards of $1, 300.00 This after having us on a $750.00 trial amount and a $825.00 for up to sixteen (16) months. We explained that it would be a terrible hardship for us and they put us at risk of losing our home of thirteen (13) years. Chase also insisted that we pay taxes on the property even though the Stafford County Virginia Treasurers office spoke with chase reps and sent documentation verifying that we are exempt from paying taxes on the property. We went over this issue for sevral precious months with chase asking us to resumit docs. Finally they informed us that the mod was incorrect and they put taxes in inadvertently but they asked us to sign and send form back so she could change info and write a new mod. Ater three yrs chase decided that we should pay $1, 1097monthly. Chase refused to listen to use regarding all the errors and the increase afer three years of trying to get lower payment amount. They told us in the beginning that if we paid the $750.00 without missing we would not pay much more than that monthly...we never missed a payment, , , so they increased our payment amount with
the same challenge do not miss payment and your mod should be in this range give or take ten dollars according to our limited income. We were dumbfounded...they made us pay $1, 197.00 and told us we could try again next year. Well mid-May 2012 we applied and we told to download forms we sent everything (by fax) we called and were told they rec'd all paperwork and we;d be assigned a caseworker. Beginning of June no response from caseworker, we called never spoke with her, We wee told that they downloaded paperwork was illegibe and they would send package by fedex. From that time until today we have not rec;d the paperwork from Chase we've been tod on sveral occasions that we should receive it in two days after speaking with mod office. We;ve gone through the financial application with the reps and the homeowners hotline rep. and we were told we are eligible for home affordable and 2.0 percent loan. Today we ere contacted by Michelle in collections who tried to help, she sent me to Michelle Hall in loan modification office, who told me paperwork was sent to our address twice May and June. Then she completely shifted gears and said we had two(2 ) mods in two (2) yrs we asked her when she said we had one in March 2010, but would not tell us when we supposedly had the other...also she would not tell us how much momey we were supposed to pay monthly. she would not provide a phone number so we coud speak with someone, and was very rude and defensive...tried t tell her she was mistaken and our file was a shambles due to all the errors, but she gave my 78 year old mom an addres to write down and told her she needed to request her file info in writing, , , saying this could take up to several months.
PLEASE IF THERE IS SOMEONE OUT THERE WHO CAN HELP WE WOULD APPRECIATE IT MY MOM HAD TEN CHILDREN AND IS A RETIRED TEACHER FOR MENTALLY CHALLENGED INDIVIDUALS. I AM NOW DISABLED BUT WORKED AS A HUMAN RESOURCE CONSULTANT FOR THE STATE OF VIRGINIA. WE LIVE ON A FIXED INCOME BUT WANT TO KEEP OUR HOME OF THIRTEEN YEARS.

JPMorgan Chase fraud in refinancing

I am contacting your regarding fraudulent activities under the HARP program by Chase Bank. I have a mortgage with Chase and was approached by them in January to refinance under the HARP program. I was told over the phone that the loan would be easy and a non-income verification loan. I explained to the chase representative at that time that I just moved back to my house in Northern AZ, that was a rental, in November of 2011, but would welcome a break on interest rate through refinancing. I submitted the processing fee of $395.00. From January til now, I have been harrassed by Chase via email and telephone, and have spent many hours trying to get my loan processed. On June 27, 2012, I received a letter from Chase notifying me that my loan was denied, sighting length of employment as reason for denial. I explained to the Chase representative at our initial contact that I just moved from another state, so, of course I have obtained new employment. through a new employer. I have been employed in my field of Nursing for 15 years now. I am currently under contract for a very lucrative assignment in my field in Northern AZ. I have been treated badly by Chase bank. The representatives of Chase knew my situation at the beginning, and should have advised me from the beginning that I would have difficulty obtaining my loan due to the move. Instead they took my application fee and kept me from refinancing for 6 months. They are engaging in fraudulent business practices, and are taking money for services they clearly must have been aware that they would be unable to provide. Please help me to seek justice, and truth in lending for all people doing business with Chase.

Chase has lied to me from the very beginning of the /harp program that I would qualify for. .I lost my home that my husband built for me and my 9 children just before he died..chase ruined mine credit..I am still struggling with renting different homes..I Want justice to what happened here..I begged chase not to foreclose my ho.me since they screwed me over...please someone talk to me and let me know what legal actions I can take to correct this terrible mess..no banks won't give me a chance for a new mortgage !

JPMorgan Chase hippa law violations

We had an account at Chase our personal banker told people we knew, we had bad credit. I sent a formal letter, called and have not heard anything back. We have not applied for any credit and feel that chase and the personal banker have violated the hippa law. and has yet to fix the issue!

This local branch called usa liar, when told them we didn't approve charges that were charged. They also, approved charges that we did not authorize. we did not approve over draft. they allowed charges to our account when the money was not there.

Really Zzonk? HIPAA Privacy Rule covers health and medical information, not financial information. I'm not saying the bank did the right thing, I actually don't have an opinion on that since the context of the bank giving out info is not stated by the OP, but any such disclosure is NOT covered by HIPAA.

JPMorgan Chase they never sent documentation

I purchased Chase car payment assurance so I would be covered in the event of losing my job. When I called to take advantage of the benefit, I was advised that my insurance payment never covered involuntary unemployment, only disability...which was not as much as a concern to me. I think they "switched" the policy and lied to me. They never sent documentation...only took a payment every month...I should have asked for documentation beforehand...If you take out any assurances from Chase...be sure to get and SAVE all documentation of the assurance...

JPMorgan Chase bullying tactics

This complaint consists of a few parts. Today, for the third time, a man came to my house to try and collect my mortgage payment. I am 2 months behind. When I told the man I did not want to reveal details of my mortgage agreement to a stranger, he became abusive, tried to force his way into my home, and then blocked my driveway with his truck and would not leave, shouting that he would be back when he finally did leave. Today is Sunday and Chase is closed and I cannot speak to anyone there. I have asked them not to trespass before and not to send abusive individuals to my home to terrorize me and my daughter. I have spoken with their representatives too many times to count, letting them know that we are slowly making progress in catching up the two months and will continue to do so. They call here about 10 times a day, even though I have asked them repeatedly not to. Each person either does not record that they spoke to me or pretends they don't know what is going on so that I need to start from the beginning. Additionally, I have sent in 3 packages for MHA and HARP. They rejected the first for no reason and I had to start over, then even though I gave them the UPS tracking for the next two, they pretend they never received them and tell me to start over again. I have had to request the paperwork 3 times before they will even send me out a package...and now I have given up as they deny receiving them, even when UPS tracking shows they arrived at Chase. I find these business practices unethical, and in the case of the trespasser, probably illegal. I have his license plate number and am considering calling the police to report today's incident, unless I receive in writing from chase that noone else will come to my home, and that the new Re-fi package I received yesterday (court ordered by the attorney general) will not also go missing if I turn it in. It costs me money to make all of the photocopies, etc. I want them to stop calling me as well.

JPMorgan Chase re-finance loan rejected due to low appraisel

Applied for a re-finance loan in 2011 to get a better rate and cash out some equity. Was told by the chase rep all requirements were met and the last step was to get an appraisal. the appraiser came and in < 10 minutes was finished. He did not ask any questions nor listen to me as I tried to explain and show him all the outside and inside improvements that had been made since 2007. All these improvements were between 2009 and 2011, but most were in 2010 and 2011. I applied for, and was approved for a re-finance loan in 2007 to get a better rate then the original loan rate. I was shocked to find that he appraised the property at 112k. I have documents from the 2007 loan that stated that the market value of this property was 200k. Prior to the appraisal, I checked other property values in this lake front sub-division as well, as my own using online and realtor information. There is not one piece of property in this sub-division that you could purchase for 112k. Not even undeveloped lake front property. So with that appraisal the loan was rejected. I asked the chase rep how could this be a fair appraisal, she sided with the appraiser. When I looked at the appraisal documents, this property was not compared to any property near here nor with the same size, number of bedrooms, amenities, etc. Using the 2007 re-finance papers and the 2011 appraisal documents this house shrank by 1000 or more sq ft. Chase refused my request for another appraisal. Just to show you how Chase did this purposely I checked my current credit report. There is an entry for the original loan, and the 20011 loan request, but the 2007 loan entry had been deleted. This would have shown what they thought the property was worth in the 2007 loan request.

Has Chase done this to anyone else? Has anyone successfully sued or otherwise got some re-course from Chase? If so how. This is an example of where these corporations are to 'big to fail', and to 'big to fight' .

JPMorgan Chase - poor customer service

Bad service means bad business at this particular Chase branch. Came to cash $35 check around 3:30pm on 6/4/2012 and here it is what happened: Waited in a line to be served by the next available teller who doesn't have a name tag. Later I found out her name is NATALY. She was very arrogant, no eye contact...basically action speaks louder than words for...
