JPMorgan Chase home mortgage

Do not use chase home finance for your next home mortgage or refinance. You are better off selecting any other mortgage company. You deserve better customer service that chase provides. I will never use chase for any of my financial matters and intend to tell anyone that will listen.

I live in the dfw area and i'm willing to provide names of specific loan officers so that you don't make the same mistake I did.

Please post this message to your wall or blog and tell anyone who will listen. Thank you

JPMorgan Chase buying euros

I went to a Chase Bank branch on the North side of Ft. Wayne, Indiana to purchase Euros for our upcoming trip to Germany. I was told by a teller that there would be a $5.00 service fee since I was not a member/customer of Chase Bank. Then I was told that I had to pay cash in U.S. dollars to purchase the Euros. Credit cards and checks on my local Credit Union would not be accepted. Since I did not have enough cash on hand, I left. Two weeks later, I returned to another Chase Bank branch on the Southwest side of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. I had $300 U.S. currency which I presented to the teller. She said that this amount would purchase $200 in Euros
plus the $5.00 service fee. I agreed and gave the teller my $300 U.S. I was told
that I had to pick up the Euros in person in either one or two business days. Upon returning home I checked the exchange rate and discovered that it was $1.30 U.S. equaled One Euro. Doing the math on my just completed purchase, I calculated that the rate used by Chase Bank was $1.49 U.S. equaled One Euro. I was not informed of the excessive extra fees being charged by Chase Bank for exchanging my U.S. dollars for Euros. I called the branch bank where I had just made the purchase to complain about the high extra fees and was told that this was the corporate rate charged by Chase Bank and that the branch could do nothing about
my complaint. I then called two other Chase branch banks...one in Indianapolis, IN and one in Muncie, IN and inquired as to how many Euros my $300 would purchase in Euros. The Indianapolis branch stated: 212 Euros and the Muncie branch quoted 220 Euros. Using the current exchange rate of $1.30 U.S. = one Euro, the 212 Eurose quoted by the Indianapolis branch was the most accurate
computation. I then called the Ft. Wayne branch again and told the banker about the quotes I had received at the other branches. He asked who I had talked with: was it a banker or a teller. I really didn't know in either case . His explanation was that the teller's have the exchange rate in their computers and would be able to quote the current exchange rate ( the rate which included the Chase Bank extra fees at it turned out ). I think that this distinction between a banker and a teller and their knowledge lever was absurd ! There was never any information given me regarding the true exchange rate charged by Chase Bank. The explanation given me regarding the other quotes I received was equally absurd. I suspect there will be no followup or communications from Chase Bank on this matter.

It is indeed frustrating, because unless a customer researches the exchange rate in advance, in particular the wholesale exchange rate (what banks charge each other for exchanging currency) vs. the retail exchange rate (what banks charge customers for the "privilege" of exchanging currency for them) it can be a huge shock. The terrible exchange rate that US banks charge customers when exchanging currency in advance of foreign travel can be equal to paying a $30-50 fee on the exchange! It's better to use an ATM in the country that you are visiting after you arrive in another country, then the exchange rate you get is typically about 1% over wholesale, plus a few dollars for using the ATM.

JPMorgan Chase wire transfer fee

I was charged $25 for a wire transfer – my first – and when I called to see if they would remove the fee they could not because they said it was a disclosed fee. It’s included in the terms of use – which everyone reads of course! – and also prior to the wire transfer it says you “may be charged a fee.” There is no transparency. I have been a Chase customer for more than 10 years. I’m moving my money to another bank. This $25 fee is ridiculous.

JPMorgan Chase identity theft

In January 2011 I was the victim on an assault and ID theft.

Four hours after the assault began Chase Visa recognized recognize apparent fraudulent activity occurring on my account and froze it; but not until $4200 was stolen. The crooks then went into my pocket and attacked my AmEx in the amount of $4800.

The next morning I was notified of the damages and I advised them that it was all fraudulent. I was advised to wait until the charges cleared on my account to lodge a dispute. They cleared and I lodge a dispute and filed a criminal complaint with the police. Three weeks later, while doing my corporate expense report, I discovered the AmEx fraud and I filed a dispute with them.

In March I was advised by Chase Visa that my dispute was being denied. They stated that the dispute is being denied on the grounds that they have my signatures and that anybody can file a police report. With those statements they accused me of being a felon.

The signatures are forgeries and with their actions they are siding with the certified felon, according to Google, and against a long and honest business relationship.

AmEx, on the other hand, has recognize obvious fraudulent activity and has back charged $4800. They are also prosecuting the criminal merchant.

Why are there such different outcomes? Before Chase Visa starts accusing honest citizens of felonies they should look at their own actions. They are projecting their felonious activities on to individuals that don't have the financial resources to defend their reputations.

My positions has been and will always be that I will not pay for fraudulent charges on my visa card.

I retained an attorney that will assist me in any actions that Chase Visa initiates against me. My attorney states that with a $10, 000 retainer he will sue them for violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act. He also advised me that they have very deep pockets and that it difficult to prevail in such a dispute and that I would be liable for their court cost.

JPMorgan Chase they steal your money then lie to you

Banks steal from you. Bit by bit, in the sneakiest of ways, they take your money. Chase Bank, my current and soon to be former bank, is notorious for this. One disgusting and tiresome trick so many banks use, and Chase is no exception, is to rearrange the order of your transactions causing your account to become overdrawn, an action which consequently and subsequently incurs unexpected overdraft fees. This next act of deceit happened to me before but I let it slide because I couldn't quite put my finger on what was wrong. This time I paid closer attention to details and realized what the b*****ds did... I stayed at a hotel with my family. The total cost for our stay was $111.48. An extra $16.72 was added on to this total by the hotel to cover any extra expenses or charges. This brought the grand total of our hotel stay to $128.20. On our drive to this hotel, we stopped at Domino's Pizza. I put in an order and noticed the amount was less than I should be paying. The incorrect amount charged was $23.36. The friendly employee recalculated, voided out the $23.36 and charged me the correct amount of $29.88. Now fast forward, vacation is over, I go home, check my online statement and see that the charge of $128.20 from the hotel is there and BOTH Domino's transactions are there. All these debits are reflected in my 'available balance'. I called the hotel right away. They said the extra charge of $16.72 would 'drop off' my bank account in a couple of days. I called Domino's Pizza. They said the incorrect amount of $23.36 would drop off my account in a couple of days. Note, the total 'overcharge' of $40.08 had been included in my 'available balance'; had been deducted from my account. On the second day after our return, I saw that both charges had indeed 'dropped off', but my available balance was the same. The $40.08 was not reimbursed, not added back to my balance. $40.08 had been removed from my account balance. When the extra charges 'dropped off', the $40.08 was not reinstated, not returned. In other words, the b*****ds kept it! I called Chase right away, fuming. The woman I spoke to acted as if she had no idea what I was talking about and insulted my intelligence further by informing me that "...There are no extra charges. The correct charge is right there on your statement. There ARE no extra charges." Ugh! I felt as if I were in an old TV episode of the Twilight Zone! I ended up hanging up on the woman out of sheer frustration!
I cannot WAIT to get as far away from Chase as I can. I'm headed to our local Credit Union. From what I understand, they, unlike banks, aren't disgustingly greedy and won't (knock on wood) steal my money!

I don't trust computers all that much lol even though I love using the internet...(obviously lol) It could have been a system error which can be hard to prove unfortunately. Also maybe another transaction came through that might have added up to that amount like gas which doesn't post right away a few things can take time to reflect on an account. I know that sounds far fetched, but a possibility. I am curious on how that occurred if you ever find out leave an update. :)

To be honest if that rep only has what SHE/HE see's on the screen from what you explained that item was pending and fell off the Rep cannot go back in time to see what you saw the moment that transaction was pending on the account. So when you explain your story to the rep of course the rep cannot see where the problem is nor can HE/SHE do anything if that is not what is on the screen at the time you call. The best thing you should have done was to walk into the branch have them look over your account with you. Even speak with a branch manager if need be I think this could have been resolved. Always try to put yourself in their shoes they cannot see all, what you see one day especially when it comes to pending items. Might not be the same the next day, cause the transaction always can change or fall off. :)

No never! They told me I was out of luck and it nearly destroyed my business. They were to busy making bad stock decisions and over charging on ATM fees! Chase should be ashamed of themselves for their "inaction" to help a legitimate and good customer! I did have to get a new account and all my auto debits were off and caused me huge time delays and constraints.

WHEREAS, CEO‘s from the major banks received large bonuses while in the midst of one of the worst recessions in American history2; and
WHEREAS, JP Morgan Chase has reportedly overcharged deployed military service persons on their home mortgages and evicted a dozen military families3; and
WHEREAS, smaller banks, community banks and credit unions with only 11% of the share of bank assets are responsible for over half of small business loans (56%) compared to the largest 20 banks who have 57% of the share of bank assets and only 18% of loans to small business4; and

Background Information on the Resolution on Banking:
1 These major banks and financial institutions received over $245 billion in bailout funds with the largest banks (Bank of America, Citigroup, JP Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs & Morgan Stanley) receiving a large portion of the bailout, each receiving between $10 billion to $50 billion. (ProPublica, The State of the Bailout: Bailout Scorecard, March 14, 2011)
2 (Wall Street Journal, Banks Set for Record Pay, 1/14/2010 and Study by Wall Street Journal)
3 (The Huffington Post, JPMorgan Chase Wrongly Forecloses On Military Families, Posted 1/18/2011; Video from NBC News)
4 (Source: FDIC 3rd Quarter 2009)
Here are some key findings from a report done by the National People‘s Action and the Public Accountability Initiative:
 This year Bank of America is receiving an income tax refund of $666 million for 2010, according to its annual report filed in late February 2011. This is following a $3.5 billion refund reported in 2009. Bank of America's federal income tax benefit this year is roughly two times the Obama administration's proposed cuts to the Community Development Block Grant program ($299 million).
 Six banks — Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley together paid income tax at an approximate rate of 11% of their pre-tax US earnings in 2009 and 2010. Had they paid at 35%, what they are legally mandated to pay, the federal government would have received an additional $13 billion in tax revenue. This would cover more than two years of salaries for the 132, 000 teacher jobs lost since the economic crisis began in 2008.
 Wells Fargo reportedly received a $4 billion federal income tax refund on $18 billion in pre-tax income in 2009, and paid 7.5% of its pre-tax income of $19 billion in 2010 in federal taxes. Its net federal income tax benefit for 2009 and 2010 combined, $2.5 billion, is equal to the Obama administration's proposed cuts of 50% to the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program.
 Banks use a variety of mechanisms to avoid corporate income taxes, including offshore tax shelters. 50% of the six banks' 1871 foreign subsidiaries are incorporated in jurisdictions that have been identified as offshore tax havens, such as the Cayman Islands.
 Bank of America operates 371 tax-sheltered subsidiaries, more than any other big bank studied, and 204 subsidiaries in the Cayman Islands alone, according to its latest regulatory filings. 75% of Goldman Sachs's foreign subsidiaries are incorporated in offshore tax havens.
 The banks' private banking arms also protect the wealth of rich clients from taxation through offshore investment strategies. Bank of America's wealth management arm encourages clients to register their yachts in foreign jurisdictions for tax reasons.
 Closing special tax loopholes on the financial sector and implementing sensible revenue-raising initiatives such as the Financial Speculation Tax could generate over $150 billion in federal tax revenue each year.

JPMorgan Chase repeated calls to non-borrowers

I received about 20 calls from "Chase Auto Loans" regarding an autoo loan by my former wife from whom I have been divorced since 1998. I ahve filed a class action alwsuite in federal court in Phailadelphioa agaisnt J.P. Mrgan Chase Bank, N.A., Chase Auto Finance Corp and their collection agenct, Accounts Receivable Maintenance, Inc. ("ARM") regarding their vailation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the RICO for unlawful conspiracy through wire fraud to falsely identify ARM as "Chase Auto loans" and to call non-borrowers repeatedly in order to cause them to contact the Chase borrower and pressure them to pay their Chae auto loan in order to stop the calls to the non-borrowers. I would be interested in hearing from persons experiencing the same type problem.

JPMorgan Chase wrong closing date

Nicole Sapp of Chase Bank set a closing date of 4-3-11 for a home refinancing loan. My son took off work to drive me to Plano, Tx, which is an hour drive from my home in Sherman, Tx. Supposed closing was supposed to be at 10:00 am at Superior Abstract in Plano. 5 min. before we arrived, I received a call from Damien of Chase Bank in Mckinney stating that closing would NOT occur that day, but the next day. Basically, I closed 2 days later at Sherman Title Co. in Sherman, Tx., where I live. Should have been set up there at the beginning. I was even left a msg. from Nicole Sapp the evening before to confirm closing time/date. When we confronted Damien with Chase's error, he quickly agreed that we should be compensated for my son's taking off work & gas for unwarranted trip. There should have been a 24 hr. nottfication of closing delay.
I contacted Customer Serv. when no contact was made to me by either Damien or Nicole Sapp. Cust. serv. Kelly Hicks then, over a period of WEEKS called me promising compensation, apologies, etc., etc. She said everyone (?) agreed that compensation should be made. I feel this was just a stalling procedure by Chase to once again cheat its customers! If I had only did research on Chase at the beginning (been w/them over 3 yrs.), I would have NEVER done business with them. AND, I will announce to everyone what a cheat they are, and get away from them as soon as I possibly can!
Thank for listening,
Bonnie Short

JPMorgan Chase dishonoring previously resolved debt with washington mutual

Chase is trying to collect on a 5 year old debt that I had with Washington Mutual. At the time, I was a victim of a scam, Washington Mutual's representatives told me that if I filed a police report, I would not be held responsible but then they turned around and decided that I should pay. At that time, I sent the collections agency a letter, disputing the charge. The dispute was accepted because they never bothered me again. Now, 5 years later Chase wants to collect and they hired thugs, ER Solutions, to harass the money out of me. I explained all this to the ER solutions rep and he told me that I don't want to pay based on my beliefs and that the bottom line is that I owe this money. He was so rude and I felt like he wasn't even trying to reason with me, instead, he tried to make me feel like and illogical idiot. I'm sorry, but I believe a logical argument works with points and counterpoints. He only had one point and no counterpoints. He just kept repeating the same thing and telling me that he didn't want to go back and forth. He probably did not want to engage in a back and forth argument because he could not, because I was right. He also told me that it was my word against Washington Mutual's! I could not believe it! Now I see what kind of company Chase and ERS are. They want to make money any way the can. They have no honor or principles. I truly hope Chase and ERS go out of business!

JPMorgan Chase equity accelerator

Upon finding my checking balance lower than it should have been, I discovered that Equity Accelerator had taken an unscheduled withdrawal from my banking account. I called Chase, my mortgage owner, because all my bank withdrawals have their name on them. They transferred me to Equity Accelerator, who talked in circles, trying to obfuscate the issue as much as they possibly could. The reasons they gave for the unscheduled withdrawal sounded weak to me. Apparently, someone got behind on the escrow payments--them or Chase, I don't know. I wasn't impressed with Chase either, who lets them collect in their name but refuses any responsibility for their actions. Very convenient.

JPMorgan Chase incompetence & fee gouging

I was very happy with WAMU, and when they were taken over by Chase Bank I hoped for the best. Haven't gotten it. Nothing but problems due to their incompetent computer systems, restrictive policies, and argumentative telephone Customer Support. Most recent event happened today, and I'm still steaming. While reconciling my savings account I found a $3.00 Extra Withdrawal Fee. I called Customer Support. They asked me to verify my address, and I gave it to them. They responded with "That is not correct". Long story short on THIS incompetence is I moved 9 months before and immediately changed my bank address online, and never had a problem with prior calls for support until now. It turned out the old address was still on file but had NO ACCOUNTS ASSIGNED TO IT, all 5 of my accounts were properly assigned to my current address BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DATA WAS OUT OF DATE (even though there was no problem LAST MONTH when I called to have them correct yet another problem and the statement address was correct). Had to answer a bunch of security questions to verify my account. Forced them to DELETE the erroneous address. THEN we finally got to my problem. You're allowed 4 withdrawals before a fee is charged. I had one, but they pointed out 2 TRANSFERS TO CHECKING which are NOW considered to be "withdrawals" even though the money is still in the bank. I pointed out that was only 3 withdrawals. The rep said "but there's a more recent withdrawal". I pointed out that there was a withdrawal one day AFTER the statement period, therefore it should not be counted and, if it were, it would STILL BE within the 4 withdrawal limit. The rep begrudgingly reversed the bogus charge with a $3.00 credit. I pointed out to him that Chase has the most incompetent Information Technology department I've ever dealt with. I will be closing all 5 of my accounts at the earliest possible opportunity. THIS IS THE MOST INCOMPETENT BANK ON PLANET EARTH!

JPMorgan Chase foreclosure

I fell behind on my mortgage, then I was accepted for a Federal Modification...2 times. I have been given the run around for over 2 years now. I made my 2 Federal Modification payments on time; all of a sudden Chase returned me checks. When I called them I was given a different answer every time I called, and I called at least 2 times a week. I was even told "Everything will be fine Jodi". Now they have again put me in foreclosure because of personal tax leins, these leins were on my record all along. I am working on them; they are personally attached to me, not my property. I am really really upset, can anyone offer me any help. I have improved my credit and have worked diligently to get rid of these personal tax leins. I am a wreck.

Good afternoon Jodi,

While I hope you received the help you needed and deserved to fight Chase to beat them at their own awful game, I am also sad to report that there are many others that are in your position seeking assistance and experiencing similar feelings of "being a wreck" many years later. For that reason, I am answering both current and past complaint and help posts to provide much needed information to others facing foreclosure and deceptive collection practices.

You have rights and you need to assert your rights by way of constant pressure on the lender or servicer coupled with a strategic approach to enforcing Dodd-Frank, RESPA and FDCPA violations. Believe it or not, I have helped many distressed or "wrecked" homeowners in your situation to get through the BS and on to financial freedom. Begin by asserting your rights:

1. You have the right to appeal any modification decisions that were made on your file but you generally must do so within 30 days from the time of the denial

2. You have the right to reapply for modification at any time in the event your financial situation changes and the lender or servicer must provide you with options to assist you based on your current situation

3. You have the right to hold Chase accountable for modifying (or not modifying) your loan because they took part in the National Mortgage Settlement where they have agreed to be held accountable for robo-signing and mortgage servicing wrongdoings

4. You have the right to challenge the debt and your servicer or lender must answer the challenge to your satisfaction before they proceed with collection of the debt to include foreclosure

A good rule of thumb is that if you believe that they are violations on your file, there most likely are so trust your intuition. Additionally, contact END Consulting to discuss your situation at no cost to you to uncover what options exist for you moving forward and we also provide links to all the regulatory agencies and client resources needed to assert your rights. I do not take on any clients that I believe I can help as we ere of the honest and ethical side of the fence always. JPMorgan Chase forbearance

My loan was previously sereviced by Citi when I was granted a forbearance to skip one payment and repay a certain amount during the course of one year for damage due to hurricane Ike in 2009. Before I was able to repay Citi according to Forbeearance agreement, Chase began servicing my loan. Per agreement with Citi, I repaid a monthly additional amount along with my current payment during the course of one year. Chase put all the additional payments in a suspense fund and have since eaten away some of the additional payment for late charges and fees. According to agreement, we are not supposed to incur any late charges or adverse credit reports as a result of this forbearance as long as we comply with the agreement. After numerous phone calls, faxes, and letters, Chase has yet to credit our account for the repayment amount and has been accruing late charges and fees on the account. Chase has not recognized the forbearance even though they have copies of it sent from us. Because Chase has not recognized the forbearance, they applied the current payment to the skipped payment; thus, every payment after that for the last 2 yrs has been registering as late. Chase refuses to correct this error. We have spoken with people in numerous departments. It seems that the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. However, Chase continues to be inundating us with harassing phone calls on a daily basis. Help us get out of this dilemma! Make Chase pay.

JPMorgan Chase unexceptable customer service

Since the later part of may, I have been trying to obtain an answer from the branch manager in a request to if it was all possible to grant giving my parent's the remaining balance from their checking account that was closed by chase themselves by recieving it at the branch bank in phoenix instead of sending it off in the mail and therefore taking up to a month before recieving their funds. I stressed that they needed those funds to live on for the month of april and if not recieved soon that damages would accure such as it did by cancelations of insurance, disconnections, late fee's, penalties, no money for medications that they take to just live. No gasoline to transport one to dialysis treatments. It was needed desparately.
Well I never recieved an answer from her until I had made a complaint to the 1-800 number and mentioned that the bank in question must have many manager's because there was an interest in people who worked in saying they held that title. That person did give me an answer to having my parents recieving their money there. His reply was oh, i've thought about it and since chase has been loosing money lately I feel its in the best interest and at my discression not to fill that request. I can not do that, i'm sorry for the inconvience... Quoted one person posing as the manager that day. Now when I finally spoke with the real manager who's name is sandra sas she stated but we just can't do that there is no money in an account to do so. That was from the very lips of the real branch manager. (that last sentence) I do not have the equipment or access to find out about where and how much and when the balance of the account or check will be. You can call customer service that's the same thing I would have to do so you would find out what I would find out. Look I said to her, its to late to have a check cut here today, but you are the branch manager and there is an amount of 4, 212.00 that belongs to my parent's that was once recieved in this bank and now its nowhere to be found at this moment. You better find there money and let me know how much, where it is, what state it was mailed from, how long will it take and I want to know today. The check finally came after alot of struggling the whole month for them. I have never experienced such an ordeal as this, I mean this elderly couple should have been granted there funds as soon as that account was closed. There was so much hardache and stress that it put my father in the emergency room and admitted. They have to other account's with chase a equity line loan and a credit card. I am not paying the late fee's on these. And actually chase has charged them so many penalty fee's during their recent financial struggle this year that that's what got them in a deeper whole they could never get out off which resulted in the decision of closing there checking account. And causing even more duress. Chase employess of that bank you are a pathetic, non-qualified group of people and your service performance and skills are unsatisfactory. If your superiors would actually have viewed your performance to this situation you all would have been given a pink slip. Hey, I 'm giving away one or two free packages of rubber's this week, in front of the bank there. I'm going to have a sign saying, you might want one of these before you go inside, ya know just for protection. ! My last words is sandra and your crew in phoenix, you havent' heard the last my slashing about this, " i'm super serial"!

JPMorgan Chase enhancement services

I recently put in a claim to Chase under the Chase Purchase Protection benefit. This was declined because I used a $25 gift card toward the purchase and Chase claims somewhere in its ridiculous fine print that the entire purchase charge needs to be covered by the credit card. I did not request full reimbursement, only the amount charged on the card. Nonetheless, they disqualified this benefit. Just another loophole. I have been a customer of Chase for over 30 years and apparently they would rather lose a valuable customer than cover a $200 claim. Shame Shame Shame!

JPMorgan Chase we the people bail out jpmorgan but will they bail out the customer???

On 18 Feb 2011, I received a call from a lady by the name of Leslie from the Kennesaw, Ga Chase Auto Finance Office letting me know that I was at the end of my contract with Chase Auto Finance and I needed to pay a balloon payment of $2500.00 which was still left against my contract and they needed it by 28 Feb 2011 or they would need to take action to pick the truck . I couldn't believe my ears. I questioned the lady and explained that I didn't have that type of funds on hand and would need to make arrangements to pay this debt. She said that this was not possible and since I had serveral late fees applied throughout the years of financing the truck that she would look at a way to maybe knock off some of the late fees . I explained that my payments had been coming through a military/civilian federal allotment and this was not my fault that they were not pulling the payment on time. This was due to there error. She explained that since this process wasn't working for me I should have stopped the payment process and continued sending the payment through western union as I was doing prior but at times I was on travel or something would come up so I elected to send through allotment with there approval, plus the western usion was costing me an additioanl $35.00 each time I would send. My payroll office whic is the DOD Defense Finance Accounting Office pulled all records and faxed a copy to the allotment payments to the Auto Finance office and they told me that this process just wasn't working. They had not posted serveral of the payments at one time and had to complete an audit after reviewing they sent me a ltter telling me they had found five unposted payments and next time ensure my name was on the payments which was allotments, this I didn't understand or had I ever heard of throughout my career of sending an allotment to a business.
I contacted the manager (Mr. Topp) with the complaint of requesting the $2500.00 and he asurred me that this was real. I explained the delimma and he told explained that I was at the end of my contract and needed to closeout my account with Chase by paying the account in full of $2500.00. However, Sept 2009, I had attempted to restore my home and purchase new furniture since I was doing fairly well with my bills, so I have aquired furniture bills and two general loans. Then in 2011, the month of August through November 2011 I was in and out the hospital due to sickness (phenomonia/pancreatis). Since I now reside in Georgia as a civilian with the military and no immediate family members you find yourself trusting people that pretend to be your friend and family, I was so sick I needed someone to help me unable to drive and take care of myself I trusted my neighbors who ended up stealing my cash of $1200.00 which I had withdraw to pay bills. I had made a police report but the officer told me cash was not proveable and in the state of mind that I was in I may have given it to them unknowly. However, I had all evidence of this lost including my bank withdrawal slip and my household insurance for a lost where they only reimbursed me $200.00 This lost of funds caused me to double over in my bills for the month of December and I was forced to make further arrangements for other future bills. I had over $100.00 in medication monthly that I was required. So in Febuary I thought there was a possibility that I would see the light with my bills when Leslie called from Chase Finance telling me of the contract closeout. This meant that I had to go further in debt to produce $2500.00 that I couldn't see. When calling Mr. Topp he allowed me to make arrangements that was acceptable to him to pay a payment of $866.00 the first two weeks and another $433.00 the next week. Spending this type of money that was a part of my monthly bills meant that I had to let a few bills go. I sent Chase bank through Western Union a total of $1299.00 in March 2011. Then 1 April 2011 I received another call from Ms. Leslie again saying that I needed to make further arrangements because my debt was raising to $1965.00. I called Mr. Topp again, he expalined that he needed a full payment of $1300.00 now for the three deferred payments I had requested throughout the auto loan, again I explained that I would be homeless because I had other bills besides him. he then agreed to split the payment in half $650.00 one payday and another $650.00 this coming pay period. I just couldn't see paying this amount out of my payroll and maintaining a household, I would be homeless. My grandchildren would go hungry. I have nothing. I can't even eat, gas is high and I live on the outside of town. How will I get to work ? however, I needed to pay them to keep the truck. This will mean I will have to let bills go, my bill collectors are already calling my home, job. I am embarrassed. They don't want to hear this delimma, they are calling me. My light bill is coming and we will be in the dark, I can't even pay my light bill. I have three grandchildren . Who can just pay $1300.00 out of there pay check without other bills following. I have never heard of anything like this. They are saying I am at the end of your contract. I am not leasing my car, I only purchased a 2003 Honda Element in year 2004 or 2005 through 2011. I have paid all of this money and now I am looking at losing it and I have come to the end all I owe is $1300.00 and no other arrangements can be made. Chase Auto Finance has no mercy. How am I to pay my other bills. I lay in fear that they will reposess my car any day because I can't pay a lump sum of $1300 or $650 as agreed. I have fallin behind and don't want to file bankrupty nor do I need bill collectors calling me day and night. My creditors gave me a second chance by allowing me to open the accounts. We the Government/tax payors just bailed GPMorgan out of debt and they are a rip off, we had mercy for them but they have nomercy on there customers. This truck has been a living nightmare since the purchase. There customer service is rude and threatens you and speaks to you like a child with no since what-so-ever. They think that every person has other alternatives to get money but I have late fees that they have applied on my credit report from there errors as well as going deeper in the hole without paying my creditors who have took a chance and allowed me credit to start over after my separation in marriage. I was looking forward to the day I no longer had to pay them. I'm not trying to not pay I just need smaller payment plan that is affordable to me. I will never ever want to purchase another car from no lender after Chase.
