JPMorgan Chase manager at dearborn heights, mi branch on van born rd.

My uncle had his account hacked and had fraudulent charges. He had it fixed and received a new debit card but couldn't access his online account. On August 2, 2018 my uncle came in to the 23150 Van Born Rd., Dearborn Heights, MI 48125 branch to have help with new debit card. The manager, Elisa did not know how to do help him with this. She told him in order for her to fix it he would have to go to Verizon Wireless and have a antivirus application added to his phone. He called me and let me talk to her and she told me the same thing, I am completely appalled at the fact that she would even say he needed an antivirus to fix this problem. I did tell her she was crazy and had no idea what she was talking about. Then she said that she just didn't "know how" to fix it and to call the online number. I then explained to her that I just recently set up a high school checking account for my son and they did all of the password changing at my Chase branch, and that she should be able to do the same. I am so disappointed to know that a Manager of a Chase bank does not know her job and was not willing to go the extra mile to help out a retired Veteran.

JPMorgan Chase fraudulent charges

Chase paid out, on my account, to FACEBK [protected] several times. As you may know by now, this is fraudulent activity not associated with anything FACEBOOK. I had NOTHING to do with these fraudulent charges. This is not new fraud. I googled it and I see chase customers have been having these fraudulent charges, and paid by account holders with Chase accounts going back to 2013.
My question is, since Chase is SO quick to charge exorbitant NSF fees for mistakes or oversights their checking account customers might make, why are they not OBLIGATED to pay the checking account holder of fraudulent activity when CHASE should have a filter that stops ALL FACEBK [protected] charges. Since they know this is fraud? It seems a VERY lucrative CASH COW to charge $34.00 per NSF, and yet, when CHASE makes a mistake, they are not held Financially accountable for reparations, to their account holders when they themselves make stupid mistakes?! Chase should pay, to each account holder on EACH charge that Chase takes from them and gives to strangers- $34.00 per transaction paid out. So, not only will they reimburse the charges, they will be held accountable for NOT HAVING PROPER SYSTEMS IN PLACE WHEN THIS IS AN ONGOING PROBLEM. Everyone- please go back to 2013 at least, and check your statements, and look for: FACEBK [protected] ...get YOUR money back and get reimbursed for this ongoing fraud.

JPMorgan Chase fraudulent charges

Someone hacked into my checking account. Charged over $150 in Apple/iTune charges. I reported them as soon as I saw them. Chase gave me a temporary refund as they investigated the charges. A week later they reversed the charges saying that I had previously made purchases in the past from Apple so they couldn't prove that they were not mine. I contacted Apple and they verified that they were not my charges. Sent me an email saying so. I sent that email to chases dispute department. After receiving that information from Apple that the charges were fraud, they still are denying me the refund. Now telling me that I didn't report the first fraudulent charge in time. I didn't notice the first charge until the other charges appeared. I have banked with Chase for YEARS. I have never had a problem until now and I am just DUMBFOUNDED that I have shown proof and they still refuse to refund me but yet have had no problem charging me hundreds of dollars of NSF FEES DUE TO THIS!

JPMorgan Chase checkings account

I opened a Checkings account at Chase because of their promo where they'd give you $150 for setting up direct deposit when opening an account. Also, they are compatible with virtually any virtual wallet or financial app in the market right now, and I like the convenience those things can bring. However, since I opened the account, I've had several overdraft charges that are simply ridiculous. While I have been advised they would occur anytime I hit a negative balance they would be charged, it is incredibly annoying. That never happened in my other checking account. If you don't have enough balance, the transaction is simply declined.

The first time the overdraft charges took place, I went to the bank and they refunded them for me. It was two charges of $34 dollars on June 4th, 2018. I went to their branch and had it refunded on June 8th. From that day on, I reversed all the automatic payments and subscription services I had back to my previous checking account, which NEVER charged me any overdraft fee and simply declined any transactions or automatic charges if there was not enough balance in my account to cover them.

The second time the overdraft charges happened were on June 11th, 12th and 18th. Like any other modern American citizen, it turns out I had more subscription services than I thought. I went there on June 22nd and they said this time they could only refund me for one of the charges.

Then I realized there was another charge on July 2nd and one on July 17th. Let me just advise that the one on July 2nd was for a $5 dollar Venmo transaction. Imagine being charge $34 dollars for simply having made a $5 dollar payment. Hell, you could've just declined that and I would've gone to Maverick and bought a mint and gotten $5 cash back. But no, Chase is not set up for that.

At first I thought this would be "good" because it would motivate me to make sure I'd always spend within my means and keep a "cushion" of at least $100 in my checking account to prevent that from happening. But transitioning has done more harm than good now. I have had this account for hardly 3 months, and I've been charged $248 in overdraft fees. Does that make up for the $150 they give you when opening the account? Certainly no. Am I happy they have refunded a total of $102 from the two times I complained? I guess.

But today upon calling them a third time in regards to the charges, they said there was absolutely nothing they could do. I will not be happy until I get refunded $146, which is the amount that has been taken from me in overdraft charges simply due to
Chase's inability to decline services when there's no balance to cover them. How can they not refund that?

Am I expected to compulsively check my account every two minutes to see my balance? Am I expected to be paranoid about every single subscription service I have to potentially cause me ridiculous overdraft charges? Is it that hard for a bank to simply decline a charge if there isn't enough to cover it?

I never had that issue with my University of Utah Federal Credit Union account. I am just waiting for a PayPal transaction to be credited into my Chase Checkings account now before I get it closed.

JPMorgan Chase customer service

After being the victim of a phishing scam and losing $4000 thru Chase QuickPay via Zelle I have been filing reports with every agency possible. Needing my transaction history I went into local Concord Branch and dealt with Michelle Ngyuen. I have never had such horrible treatment. She acted like it was too much for her to even listen to an explanation of the situation. She was rude and I honestly was shocked. I will be closing my account and going to a smaller family recommended credit union.

JPMorgan Chase checking account

My boyfriend has a company account & made a deposit yesterday & today the money still wasn't there. He was told they couldn't verify the money was in the clients bank (a lie cause the clients bank told us they never got a call from them). Chase told him that he would have to wait 8 more days to touch the money. The client gave us another check so we drove to Blanchard to cash it & asked about the deposit of the other check & we were told Chase had already withdrew the money from the clients account. When you call Chase they have every excuse in the world except the answer as to why we can't use the money. This us the worst bank I have ever dealt with in my entire life

JPMorgan Chase chase bank worst customer service.

I've been currently getting charge overdraft fees even for being 2 min Lates, there the worst when it comes to Customer satisfaction or service I finally had enough and close my back back account. If we live in Arizona why can't Chase go base our time when it comes to closing the day, it would just makes sence. I believe it's a way for them to steal from there Customers they make so much on overdraft fees. There should be a law against it. I would always make sure I

JPMorgan Chase checking

No matter what recently I always get charged a NSF. Even if they have to resubmit a charge that cleared up to seven days ago. Chase will back the charge out, say it is a pending charge hold my deposits and charge me. I fought to get several of them removed when they say it was a courtesy and they will no longer offer that to me. It NOT a courtesy, it's a habitual practice of the giving me fees, its costing me money. It's like I'm on a list for fees no matter what...

JPMorgan Chase statements

Chase charged me $222 for statement copies. This was obviously done in error. I requested the copies and was told step by step what to do to get the payee information. I was also told the same thing at the local branch. The system calculated 37 copies of statements and charged me $6.00 per. I would never request sooo many copies knowing that I would get charged such large amount. All i was is to cancel
This request and to refund the account and the representative and manager told me no. This is unfair and misleading. I need help to get this mather situated.

JPMorgan Chase freeze on my only checking account

Approximately june 18, 2018 i had a strange deposit in my account through a zelle account. I went to my nearest local chase and they froze my account and to this day june 29 i still cannot access my account. I do not know how this was placed on my account. I have been online a lot due to trying to land a real job and my email and phone number is out there everywhere, i had nothing to do with this and am quite distraught over it as i have no other way to pay my bills and i am on disability. How can this be legal for a bank to do? i have enough money in my account to pay my bills they should separate the 2 amounts and free up my account. My rent and car payment are going to be due soon and as of today i called chase and they told me it was still frozen and was to stay that way until they hear something from the other party whose account it was or wait until aug 03..I will be dead by then.

Why does'nt anyone care about anything anymore, seriously, this is horrible. Concerned citizen d. [protected]@yahoo.Com

JPMorgan Chase chase fraud and they won't refund my money

On May 11, 2018 the cellular data on my phone was shut off while I was at work in California. I went home after a meeting and realized I had an e-mail from Chase bank that said my debit card was hooked up to my apple pay. Then, I checked my bank account and realized that someone had charged $5, 493 at the Apple Store on 5th Avenue in New York, to my debit card. I immediately called Chase bank and said I didn't do this. They told me to file a claim. I then went to Verizon and learned that my phone number was ported out to a T-Mobile pre-paid phone.
Events of that day:
• At 13:48 someone called Verizon and knew pin number and account number
• By 14:15 my phone was shut off
• I received an e-mail at 3: 15 (Pacific time) that my debit card was added to Apple Pay (my Apple Pay was already hooked up to my Chase credit card, so there would be NO reason for me to make the switch)
• Then this appeared on my bank statement: Card Purchase With Pin 05/11 Apple Store #R095 767 New York NY Card 8035
• Chase called my phone number to verify the charge—and the person who ported out my number said it was me and so Chase decided the purchase was valid.
Then, I did the following:
• Filed a police Report on May 11
• Sent in a claim to Chase on May 12
• Filled out a form on identity theft report on the Federal Trade Commission
• Had my office manager write me a note stating I was at work on May 11 in California when the charge occurred—I sent this to Chase
• I called the Apple Store on 5th Avenue in New York and they refused to let me speak to a manager.
• Had my work write a note verifying I was in California at a meeting when the charge took place
Now, Chase says the only way I can have my money back is if Verizon writes a letter that says my number was ported out. Which Verizon will not do, because they are not going to admit to any fault in writing.
Chase continues to deny my claim and they refuse to look at any evidence. They refuse to call my work and verify that I was in California when the charge took place. The employees at the Verizon and T-Mobile in my town have the knowledge to tell Verizon what happened, but according to company policy they are not allowed to put it in writing. However, they said IF Chase would call them, they could tell them what happened over the phone.
How can we be sure our money is safe in the banks? The public needs to know that Chase bank is difficult to deal with and their money is NOT safe.

JPMorgan Chase complaint regarding an atm machine that malfunctioned at 600 n meacham rd schaumburg il branch

Dear Manager,

I would like to file a complaint and/or an incident report regarding one of your ATM machines that malfunctioned at your 600 N Meacham Rd Schaumburg, IL, branch earlier, June 15, 2018, 2:52pm.

I was trying to withdraw $800 from that branch's drive by ATM machine using my Keybank IDES debit card, but it didn't dispense the cash. THe machine started counting money (as I was hearing it) then it stopped and then eventually said this machine cannot dispense cash. Then it printed out a receipt saying "Sequence #xxxxx, Term ID xxxxxxxx. After printing that receipt, the machine said that it cannot dispense cash.

So I put back my keybank card to check if it has been deducted, and it already deducted.

So i went inside the branch to complain to the manager and eventaully I got to the VP of the branch, [removed] and he said that he can't do anything because it's not a chase debit card. He was nice and he stayed with me while talking to Keybank call center agent to try to file a dispute.

But the fact of the matter is, your atm malfunctioned and I don't have money to pay for my bills now. And unfortunately, according to keybank it takes 7-10 business days because they're also going to contact chase. Yes, i filed the dispute but how can i meet my financial obligations?

Your atm malfunctioned. And it's sad that the VP of the branch cannot even contact the person handling the Atm machines and file a complaint or an incident and see what can be done with this situation.

You have cameras there in your branch. You have an IT system to check what happened. But nothing was offered by the VP of the branch.

This was my 2nd time to withdraw in this branch using this Keybank card; first time was successful, first time was a few weeks ago).

Please offer a resolution on this or speed up the communication with Keybank for the dispute. Maybe Chase can call them to clarify and so chase can give my money back. According to keybank, it's your atm that was at fault. I believe it is.

Please call me at [removed] or email at [protected]@gmail.com.

I do have an existing account at Chase.

Regards,
[removed]

JPMorgan Chase ach deposit

I have a 401 (k) where I took out a loan for $5, 000 and directed an ach direct deposit into my chase bank checking account. I had inadvertently transposed a digit of my chase bank checking account number. I realized this error on the second day of the ach deposit since my checking account had not been credited. After alerting chase bank of the error I was assured not to worry because the funds were placed on hold in another person's checking account and the problem would be resolved as soon as they get an indemnity letter from the originator, which was principal financial. After asking principal financial for the indemnity letter that chase wanted, I was told that it wasn't necessary as long as the money was returned to the sender. A week had gone by and I still had not received my $5, 000.in the meanwhile, principal and their bank, wells fargo, had sent the indemnity letter to chase bank to redirect the $5, 000 to the correct account number. After confirming that the indemnity letter was sent as requested by chase bank, I called chase bank to find out when I could get my $5, 000 they placed on hold into my checking account. I was quite shocked to find out that chase released my $5, 000 into another chase bank customer's checking account and there was nothing they can do to retrieve my money because that person had withdrawn the $5, 000. The only suggestion the manager at my chase bank branch told was to file a complaint with the better business bureau. I asked for the person's name and address of where my money went, but they said that information is confidential. I filed a police report and they would not even reveal the chase bank customer's name to the police. I'm at a dead end as to how I can retrieve the $5, 000 from the wrongful owner who I do not know. Chase bank has abandoned any responsibility or concern about my situation. To make matters worse, I have been making loan payments for almost 4 months for money I never received!
Avoid chase bank / jp morgan chase like the plague!

JPMorgan Chase charging me insufficient funds fee after I repaid the amount owed

On my account ending in 9562 Chase has ripped me off in the month of June 2018. I made charges for Uber, Family Dollar and Home Depot on the 13th of June I transferred money from one of my other accounts, I have 3 Direct Deposit accounts because my kids get SSI and paid everything except for Home Depot which left me in the negative for $60 which I was fine with and knew I would get an insufficient funds fee for that charge. But when I checked the Chase app the following morning I received insufficient funds fees for Family Dollar and Uber. I immediately called and got a bs story about Uber and Family Dollar posted after Home Depot so my money covered Home Depot and half of Family Dollar and so I caught the fees for what it didn't cover. Then days later I went to the Supermarket and accidentally used that same card and caught a $68.70 Charge and quickly transferred funds to cover within a couple of hours and then I checked the App today and seen yet another insufficient funds fee for something I repaid and was told I couldn't get that reversed because the computer wouldn't allow it because I hit the maximum of two reversals in 12 months. I been with Chase since 2006 are you serious?!

JPMorgan Chase fraud refund

First of all I've been a Chase customer for over 20 years if you include my time with Washington Mutual. At the beginning of May I checked my checking account and noticed that it was about a $1, 000 less than it should have been especially after a pay day. So I checked my bank account and noticed an ACH PayPal account withdrawal to a merchant called Dresslily for $969. That made me go back and do a question on my checking account for any other ACH withdrawals. Turns out that I had 13 transactions to the same merchant since December! What the heck is going on right?

So...I contacted PayPal and found out that somebody by the name of David Pineda was linking his PayPal account to my checking account and draining my funds. I put in. Claim with PayPal and Chase. Fast forward to today June 14, 2018. I get an email from Chase stating that they completed their investigation and that the contacted the merchant and determined the transactions to be leigitimate? The funny thing is that they contacted the merchant, not Paypal. PayPal told me that Chase NEVER sent them any fraud documents to reverse the charges. Chase also temporarily refunded me $454 and said that they will be taking that back now that they have closed the claim?

Wow I am absolutely appalled. 1) I have no idea who this David Pineda guy is and Chase is saying that the purchases were authorized? You have got to be kidding me. Also the customer service reps were extremely rude when I told them that they contacted the merchant when they should have contacted PayPal. Chase is definitely not a company that I want to be associated with any longer. It's safe that they don't fight for their clients. And it doesn't even seem like they support Veterans either! It's time to switch over to USAA!

JPMorgan Chase credit card payments

My main account number is [protected]. I have other accounts and I have a Southwest Visa card. I charge items on the Visa card for different companies I own. This month there are two charges to be paid by those companies. One is for about $600 (Visionworks, if you are looking) and the other is for about $3000 (PG&E). The latter charge is incurred each month for utilities for a building I own, and I pay it each month by transferring from the building's LLC account to the credit card. Here is the problem. The $3, 000 obligation from the LLC which owns the building exceeds the total owed on the credit card. Your web site won't allow me to transfer more than the balance due on the card. That is new. There was no such problem last month or earlier. I called Customer Service--waste of time. I pointed out to the agent that I can mail a check and you will accept it. What else can you do with it? She gave me no help. I'd like Mr. Dimon to be advised that your bank has now begun to refuse payment from customers, forcing me to use other credit cards. I will be putting this month's PG&E bill on Amex. Amex thanks you. Southwest and Visa not so much. Clifford Herbstman [protected]@gmail.com
