Boy are you people stupid. I have just spent the last 3 years with Champion lying to my customers about pricing. Do not believe any of the SALE prices or discounts. They are all fake. It doesn't matter if it is 30%, 40% or even 50% off. All they do is mark up the original retail price to give you the discount. Do not buy anything that night. Just call back the next day and ask for an additional discount. If the rep says no then speak with the manager. He will give you a discount. Also, this is just an average window and way overpriced. You can find a better window at many other places at a much lower price. Do not be fooled by the factory discounts!

Yeah there a RIP-OFF and a bunch of con-artists.

Champions whole sale pitch is to geared into putting fears into its customers about them doing business with any other window contractor when it is Champion the customers need to watch our for. Champion has been ripping off the people for way to long and they need to be exposed for it.

Champion just prays upon an uneducated window, door, sunroom buyers and you had already done some of your research which is bad for the poor old Champion sales rep.
Anyone should be able to find a good local straight forward window contractor which can offer them as good or better vinyl window for half of what Champions dieing Shawn so called sale price. They start out at a way over inflated book price and want to see how high they can get you up too and it is an ole used car sales tactic from way back and won't change because of the high profit margins they get on there windows.

Champion does teach these sales tactics to there sales organization and the drill it into them and if you don't believe in it they can't work for Champion and they go though sales staff like water because its bunch of BS. Champion also teaches how to apply the sales pressure gracefully "buy it now" because if they don't do that they know if the customer has time to do any product or price research they are not going to be purchasing anything from Champion. The really good salespeople might even do what they call a "commercial close" and tell you how you might be able to hop up on a big commercial project they got going so you can get there lower pricing but the key is you have to act right now. Believe me Champion gets no big commercial project at all.

Champion started out about 2K per window in your case and they are out of there minds and that is when you should stop there sales pitch right then and there and just kicked them out of your house for disrespecting your intelligence. They know that most people are just to nice to show them the door and tell then to get the hell out like they deserve. When he started to do his work sheet and they used those way over inflated pricing on it, That is by design. Its called "pealing you off the ceiling" then they want to show you a way you can afford them and that is a old tin men aluminum siding sales tactics which Champion used from the used car industry.

For an average size vinyl window that is less then 110 united inches in size you should have to give any more the 400-500 per window on a average window installation with the very same glass package that Champion is offering you. By the way Champion so called "exclusive comfort 365 glass" isn't exclusive to Champion as they say it is. It is made by Cardinal Glass Company as Champion doesn't manufacturer any glass products as the same for there Sunrooms glass. Your arched top window is going to cost a little bit more then a standard double hung window but its not going to double in price.

I also wouldn't purchase any vinyl window with the color bond on its exterior. Its just paint over the white or tan color vinyl window and if it gets chipped your going to see the original color under the painted surface and after a longer period of time its going to look like crap. I would suggest looking at "aluminum clad window" which would be a much more durable window if you wanted a colored exterior and Marvin window make one under Marvin's "Integrity" brand name which is a fiberglass interior and aluminum exterior window which is the best of both worlds when it comes to window materials but then you back up to Champion price range but with a much better window product.

Anyone would be crazy to any business with any of the Champion locations across the country. Just do your research and you be the judge.

I just had champion come by tonight. For 10 double hung and 3 circle top he quoted me $25k with no options except the color bond on the outside. Then he offered 30% off...then another 5% if I would sign tonight. I still said no and then he offered another 13%. I then told him I would think about it and he was writing up the quote and had forgotten two windows. So it ended up about $14, 500. I had a quote for full frame Marvin Ultimate Double Hung installed for less than that. I also had a comparable quote from another vinyl company for much less than half that price, and their installs looked better. I was really upset with the price after sitting through a 3 hour presentation. Even if the end price was good I still would not buy from them because of the used car salesmen tactics. Pass.

The only people who go to a complaint site to brag about how great a company, is most likely the salesman or manager of said company. It's pathetic and ridiculous

The consumer needs to beware that they can purchase products at a much lower prices without having to play the Champion windows, doors, siding and patio rooms sales games. I'm talking about the Champion that is based in Cini, OH

OK all of you Champion people. Let me ask you a question. What is the lowest book price for a standard white color vinyl replacement window that Champion sales? That plan and simple enough for you isn't it? I know your forbidding to answer so I will. The answer is $1, 240.00 for a small DH or a slider window that is under 83 UI. That price is without any other additional options like, grids, full screens, any other charges like trip charges, dump fees, additional labor charges etc that is added on top of that inflated Champion book price. WOW now that is really high mark up by any ones standards.

If any so Champion rep played his "Monty Hall" act and cuts his asking prices by a whopping 50% that lowest priced Champion window would cost you at least
$ 620.00 and its most likely is going to be somewhere between $800.00 - $1000.00 per window after all discounts have been applied. A consumer should be able to get an equal too or better quality product for about half of what Champion is trying to sell its products for. If your looking for a any type of door or siding products then just forget about Champion.

If a Champion rep has to sells windows at the "PAR" price or 50% off of the Champion book price then the only one that is losing money is the poor ole salesman?
Champion MFG really isn't losing anything. Its just the rep for Champion that is taking it in the hip pockets and Champion MFG still is making real bank on its the highly over rated and highly inflated priced products.

On the other hand If the salesperson is successful is selling the Champion products over the par price then the sales rep and Champion split the profits on a 30-50% increasing scale and between themselves. So do you think that a Champion rep has a incentive to pad any book price then your wrong. Yes they do pad the book price. The sales management and reps are just rewarded for selling over that par price otherwise the reps gets 5% of the par price sold. I had one of the Champions most successful sales reps tell me how he gets his overage and screws his customers. He went onto say that said the customer doesn't have a clue and how that was a good thing that Champion doesn't post it pricing or he would be screwed.

Ask any Champion rep how much is the lowest priced window and watch the Champion rep craw like a craw fish. They won't give you a straight up pricing answer. Champion is is set up so its sales reps can set up its customers for the BIG LICK. Have a great day...

Champion reps puts on a great dog and pony show demo with a lot of smoke and mirrors. They will offer a buy two get one free offer, then a 30%- 40% offer, then a dieing swain effort might be 50% off with a couple hunderd to boot for putting its yard sign up. Just too much used car sales tactic if you ask me. They start out with a really high book price then started applying those deep discounts and trying to close each step. The whole thing is just a slick willy sales job and is flawed when they started out by peeling you off the ceilings with a very inflated retail price. Are you for real, its NO DEAL even with those deep discounts. There are a lot of great products on the market today and most all other contractors do not have to play those type of sales games with its customers. Why does Champion stoop to those levels to sell its products? Buyers beware of these games and are you going to be the next sucker that takes it up the short. Good luck with that stuff Champion

Hummm just because you can't sell or believe in a product that is Superior to most in the industry why do you feel you have to get on here and show your stupidity? Go to Anderson by renewal or Applleby or any other High end window company and they are selling windows for $1200 to $2000 a window and then say you get a better window and a lower price, , , , the fact that you feel that way shows why you aren't working for Champion any more., , Champion pays sales rep less then most companies and installers more then most because they realize ware the rubber meets the road, , , just a shame you couldn't figure that out in your own mind.
