Purchased Champion windows for the whole house in 1999. Had similar bad experience with the installation. Damaged the siding and interior wood work. Would not fix the problem for months. Withheld half of the payment until work was done. Work never done correctly.
Now one of the windows needs a simple less than $10 part-but they will not sell me the part. They insist they have to send a rep out. That of course will mean a service charge and a labor charge-$100 for a $10 part. Interesting warranty-of no use-can get it done cheaper and better without the warranty. Buyer Beware.

We have had many windows fail. It took Champion at least 8 trips to get the measurements correct and installed to fix their poor quality product. Since that time we have had more windows fail - rather that fighting with Champion and putting up with their incompetence, I am going to replace the windows with windows from another manufacturer. Their reported "Life Time" warranty is a joke.

I have been running in this Champion circle as you call it, for 8 years now and I have never worried about running into any of my neighbors, Champion customers, or friends that I have offered Champion products. As with all companies that do remodelling work, you are replacing something old with something new, and sometimes things don't go perfectly. We work hard to satisfy that minimal occurence.

Considering the fact that nationally Champion installs over 140, 000 homes a year, I would take the number of complaints on this site with a grain of salt. To see the same complainers cruising the site and attacking the company with vigor is indicative of one individual with a bone to pick. That would be you maskzman. Get on with your life. By the way, Cardinal is the correct spelling.

I will give you one concession, Champion is second to an insurance restoration group called Belfor. They aren't really remodellors as much as a construction group that does insurance restoration. Here's their own description. ...
As a leading restoration company we offer you a full service: all services relating to restoration from a single source. In cases of damage, this guarantees short distances, efficient work, and thus time and cost savings for all those involved.

BELFOR is quickly on the scene, wherever you are. With more than 170 locations in over 27 countries, we are always close at hand. Some 3, 200 BELFOR staff take good care that nobody must go without the best possible restoration solutions. Regardless of the nature of the damage.

So actually, when it comes to home remodelling, Champion is indeed #1 and that leaves you still pathetic.

The problem JOB you have to know the facts from any fiction. Your not able to ackowlage the truth if it slap your up side your head. Just wake up and smell the coffee, I don't have to build any portfolio or try to make Champion look bad because you guys do a super job of that on your own. Your ole act is one in the same and your always trying to delect any negitive postings to them being a competitor with some inferior products. Your just another rat on the Champion wheel running around in circles. Here one more NEW FLASH for you JOB, the Champion products are not SUPERIOR and Champion is not the largest remodeler.

Acknowlage this - Doesn't Champion use Cardnal Glass Co with Low E 3 coatings?

maskzman, we wish Champion had someone monitor the site, then pursue your real identity to expose you as a lousy competitior, with an inferior product, who is trying to build a false portfolio of negatives to make Champion look bad. It's funny how you can't spell and neither can the people who are supposedly complaining. Of course, as a proud employee of Champion Windows, I am always going to monitor this site and dispute any lies. If you ever do get the facts right, I will acknowledge that.

I have Champion Windows and Have had a few warranty issues come up( all the fault of my neighbors) Champion did not charge at first, fixed every thing that happened...once i called for the fifth time they asked for a $53 trip charge to cover the gas for the service tech, , , , just as the salesman told us they would ...I am working with my neighbor to pay it...its there child who keeps putting a ball through our window ...wonderful company and they live up to everything the sales guy told us ... I read through all the crap on here and have to think that some people are just a pain in everyone's tail no mater what happens, , , , I think Champion is a wonderfully straight forward company. Worth Every Dime !
