Chadwicks Of Boston Sized themselves out of a customer

I am a small, but not petite, woman. Years ago, I could easily purchase things in my size (which was then called 6). In the meantime, sizeflation has taken over. I purchased a blazer last year in a 4 that is only a little large on me, but the ones I ordered this year in the same size are a good two inches wider and with less shaping. I'm still the same size, but I definitely won't be able to purchase from Chadwicks again. I'm debating whether to pay for alterations or ship them back. They would have been so nice, had they fit like they used to. Not to mention the lower quality fabric, the high shipping fees and slow shipping times... So sad. Given other people's problems with receiving refunds, I guess I'll have the keep the jackets, even if they don't fit.

Chadwicks Of Boston Back when I needed matching blazers, they had a couple

Back when I needed matching blazers, they had a couple in stock. I had ordered a couple one time but the shipping took a while. It wasn't a bad experience, I should have just ordered it earlier but still I wouldn't see it as a negative experience since I always got what I wanted. It fit me perfectly and I would buy from them again.

Chadwicks Of Boston Inconsistent Sizing and Poor Customer Service: My Experience with Chadwicks

So, I just got my order from Chadwicks and it's a bit of a mixed bag. The Ruched Waist Knit Midi Dress is a bit too big in the shoulders and too long in the waist. It's a shame because the dress is really cute and I was looking forward to wearing it. The Comfort Waist Pull-On Bootcut Jeans are a different story. They were a real struggle to get on because there's no give in the waist. Once I finally got them on, I realized they were too short in the rise and sat like hipster pants. Not what I was expecting at all. I thought they were supposed to sit just below the waist, but I guess not.

I tried to cancel the rest of my order, but it had already shipped. When I brought up the issue of inconsistent sizing, I was transferred to "head office". After waiting on hold for what felt like forever, I was connected to another support person who sounded like they were also from India. They weren't any more helpful than the first person I spoke with, which was really frustrating. I feel like I wasted a lot of time trying to sort this out.

What really gets me is that I had to pay for shipping to receive the items, and now I have to pay for shipping to send them back. It's like I spent $40 for nothing. I don't think I'll be shopping at Chadwick's again. It's just not worth the hassle.

Chadwicks Of Boston Chadwicks.com Review: A Nightmare Experience with Unhelpful Customer Service

I really wish I had read the reviews before I placed my order on Chadwicks.com. I ordered a coat on December 24, 2021, and was told it would arrive within 7 to 10 days. However, it's now late January and I still haven't received it. To make matters worse, there was a language barrier and my order ended up in another town with the wrong name and mailing address.

When I contacted customer service, I offered to pick up the order myself and requested compensation for the inconvenience. They insisted on overnighting the order instead, which I agreed to. However, when I got home from work the next day, the coat still hadn't arrived. I called customer service again and was told that the coat was on backorder until June! I was beyond frustrated and asked to speak to a supervisor.

The supervisor initially claimed that his supervisor was in a meeting, but I knew that wasn't true since I had called after hours. When I called back later that night, I was told that the coat was now in stock again and would arrive on Friday. However, I had had enough and asked to cancel the order and receive a refund.

Overall, my experience with Chadwicks.com has been a complete scam. I'm still waiting to see if I'll actually receive my refund, but I wouldn't recommend this website to anyone. The customer service was unhelpful and the whole process was a nightmare.

Chadwicks Of Boston Disappointed with Chadwick's: Poor Customer Service and Cancelled Order

I recently made a big purchase on Chadwicks.com, spending a whopping $600 on Christmas gifts for my loved ones. However, I was disappointed to find that I never received any updates on my order after placing it on December 5th. It wasn't until December 13th that I decided to check on my order status, only to find out that it had been cancelled without any notification from the company.

Frustrated, I called customer service to replace the cancelled order, but was informed that several items were now on back order. Despite being assured that the items in stock would arrive before Christmas, I was still worried. On December 20th, I checked my order status again and it was still "in process". I called customer service once more, and the representative I spoke with spoke to a supervisor on my behalf. They promised to send my order out overnight, and I was told that I would receive it by Wednesday at the latest.

Unfortunately, the package never arrived. When I called to complain, I was lied to for the third time. I was extremely disappointed with the poor customer service I received from Chadwick's, especially since I was a VIP customer. No one representing the company even tried to assist me, and now I have no Christmas gifts for my loved ones since it's too late to order from anyone else.

Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with Chadwick's. It's a shame that such a reputable company would treat their customers so poorly. I have since cancelled my order and removed myself from any further communications from the company. I hope that Chadwick's takes steps to improve their customer service in the future, so that no one else has to go through what I did.

Chadwicks Of Boston Chadwicks' Disappointing Customer Service: Refusal to Honor Merchandise Credit

I've been shopping at Chadwicks for as long as I can remember, but my recent experience has left me feeling disappointed. I placed an order and received it twice, but not at the same time. I didn't return the extra order within their return guidelines, so they gave me a merchandise credit. I wasn't happy about this because it was their mistake in the first place, and I had to pay to ship it back. The credit was for $110.21, and this happened in the spring of 2019.

I tried to use my credit earlier this year, but I learned that Chadwicks was closed. I was disappointed but understood that businesses can close for various reasons. However, when I tried to use my credit recently, they refused to honor it. They claimed that they couldn't find any record of my previous order, even though I have an email with the order number, my name, billing address, shipping address, and phone number. None of these details have changed in the past 15 years, but they conveniently can't find anything in their system.

I'm frustrated that I'm out $110.21 because of their mistake, and they won't honor my credit. I've been a loyal customer for years, but I won't be doing business with them again. It's disappointing that they can't take responsibility for their mistake and honor their commitment to their customers.

Chadwicks Of Boston Chadwicks.com Review: Late Delivery, Wrong Item, and Poor Customer Service

I recently made a purchase on Chadwicks.com for my wife's Christmas gifts. I was excited to find four products that were listed as available on their website on 12/12/2020. However, my excitement was short-lived when I received an email on 12/14/2020 stating that all four items were now on back order.

To make matters worse, when I received the package on 12/19, it was supposed to be a pair of large tall leggings, but instead, I received a size 14 tweed skirt that was four sizes too large for my wife. She is 5'-10" and wears a size 10 bottom, so this skirt was completely useless. Not only was it the wrong size, but the quality was also terrible.

I immediately called Chadwicks to report the issue, and they agreed to overnight me a new set of leggings. However, they informed me that the other items were now on back order until February. To make matters worse, while I was on the call, they informed me that the items that were listed as available on their website were now not available at all!

They did offer to refund the first charge for the wrong item and shipping, but they said they would only send the other items in February or March if they become available. This was extremely disappointing, as my wife was looking forward to receiving these items for Christmas.

Despite my disappointment, I was willing to give Chadwicks another chance if they had offered a 50% refund on the late products. However, they refused to do so, and we have decided not to use Chadwicks again.

In these difficult times of Covid, I feel blessed to be working and healthy. However, companies like Chadwicks that treat their customers poorly do not deserve to exist. It is unacceptable to short customers on their Christmas gifts, especially during a pandemic.

To make matters worse, what they claimed to have shipped as black leggings turned out to be a tweed skirt! Just look at the picture! Overall, I would not recommend Chadwicks to anyone looking for reliable and timely service.

Chadwicks Of Boston Chadwicks Clothing Review: Disappointing Sizing and Lackluster Styles

I gotta say, I used to be a big fan of Chadwicks back in the day. I mean, I still have some of their slouchy crewneck tunic sweaters from the 80s that are still holding up, even though they're faded and starting to unravel. Nowadays, it seems like clothes just don't last as long as they used to, you know what I mean?

Anyway, I recently ordered some stuff from Chadwicks and I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed. The sizing was all off and I had to return a bunch of stuff. They did offer free return shipping for mistakes or damages, but anything else was like 6 or 7 bucks to send back. And let me tell you, their sizing charts are not helpful at all. I had the same problem with Metrostyle and their skinny jeans. What's up with that?

But I will say, a few years ago Chadwicks started to step up their game. They started offering some really cute sweaters and cardigans with embellishments, and they went back to using cotton instead of those weird ramie or acrylic blends. But then the prices went up and it became harder to find promo codes. And don't even get me started on the fact that they got rid of the outlet site and LaRedoute (although apparently LaRedoute is back now, so that's something).

I still get the Chadwicks catalog and check it out every now and then, but honestly, their stuff has been pretty boring lately. I really hope they can turn things around and start paying attention to customer feedback. It's always sad to see an older company fade away when they could just make a few changes and keep up with the times.

Chadwicks Of Boston Deceptive Trade Practices at Chadwicks: A Warning to All Shoppers

Yo, listen up! I gotta tell ya, don't even think about buying from Chadwicks. I've been a loyal customer for like 15 years and always loved their stuff. But now they're saying they're back better than ever, but that's a bunch of baloney. I ordered these pink corduroy pants, even though they jacked up their prices like crazy, added a $1 Covid surcharge (like seriously, what is that even for?), and then on top of all that, charged me way too much for shipping. So what should have been a $44.99 purchase ended up costing me a whopping $61.54. But I was willing to put up with all that just because I really wanted those pants (still haven't gotten them yet though, ugh).

But then, during checkout, they tried to pull a fast one on me. They offered me this VIP Club thing, and I thought it was just gonna be some cool offers or something. So I clicked yes, but then I found out that I had been tricked into a $14.95 per month membership (with a trial period) where I can buy from other companies with a teeny tiny cash back percentage and $10 off shipping rebates or free shipping - but I'm sure there's a catch to all that. And like, why would I even need that when I can just buy directly from those other companies (like Target, where I can buy online without any fees and pick up my stuff at the store)?

I mean, seriously, has Chadwicks sunk so low that they have to trick their customers into these bogus memberships? They don't even tell you upfront what it's all about. I'm thinking about filing a complaint with the Attorney General of Texas for deceptive trade practices. So yeah, don't waste your time or money with Chadwicks.

Chadwicks Of Boston Disappointing Customer Service and Shipping Costs from Chadwicks

I gotta say, I was pretty bummed when I stumbled upon Chadwicks after I had already made an order elsewhere. As a tall woman, it can be a real struggle to find pants that fit just right. But I decided to give them a shot and ordered two pairs of tall pants, three dress shirts, and a pair of shorts.

Now, let me tell you, I was over the moon about the dress shirts and shorts. They fit like a glove and looked amazing. But when I opened up the package with my pants, I was pretty disappointed to find that they had sent me two regular length pants instead of the tall ones I had ordered. I mean, come on, how hard is it to get an order right?

So I called up their customer service line and was bounced around to three different reps before finally being told to email customer service. I was pretty frustrated by this point, but I followed their instructions and sent an email. And then...nothing. No response. So I sent another email. Still nothing.

Honestly, I'm not sure I want to order from Chadwicks again if this is how they handle customer service. I left my contact information twice and still haven't heard back from anyone. So until they can prove otherwise, they get a big fat zero for customer service. I mean, I have to give them a rating out of 5, so I guess it's a one just because I got some nice dress shirts and shorts out of the deal.

And to make matters worse, the shipping cost was just ridiculous. And to top it all off, they shipped it to the wrong location and I had to send it back and have it reshipped. And tracking the package was a nightmare. I told the first rep I talked to about this and all she could do was apologize and agree that other customers had complained about the shipping cost. Like, thanks for nothing?

Chadwicks, listen up. I need either some TALL pants or a refund for the regular ones you sent me. And if there's some kind of glitch in your system that's defaulting to regular length, you need to fix it ASAP. It just seems fishy that both pairs of pants were wrong, you know? So call me, email me, do something to fix this mess.

I'm not sure how Chadwick's is still in business! I am so frustrated with the whole shopping experience. I ordered a petite coat for my 94-year-old godmother almost 30 days ago, but I still haven't received it. I got an email saying that my order was received and being processed, but I haven't heard anything since then. I called customer service to check on the shipping status, but the representative told me that there was a problem with my credit card and that's why my order wasn't processed. I don't understand why they didn't tell me this when I placed the order. I gave them my credit card information again, and the representative said that I would get an email with updated shipping information soon. But two more weeks went by, and I still hadn't heard anything. I called customer service again, and this time the representative told me that they had no record of my order on file. I couldn't believe it! I had the order confirmation email right in front of me. How could they not have a record of my order? I asked to speak to a supervisor, but the representative told me that they were in a meeting and would call me back in an hour. I was so frustrated! I just wanted to give them my business and spend my hard-earned money, but they didn't seem to care. I would not recommend ordering from this company. It's not worth the headache and frustration. We should only support companies that truly care about their customers.

Chadwicks Of Boston This business should be rated a "0" star - SO BAD!

I don't know how Chadwick's is still in business! So incredibly frustrated with the entire shopping experience. Placed an order for a petite coat (from the limited assortment available) almost 30 days ago for my 94 year old godmother. Got a confirmation email that my order was received and being processed. After several weeks of no updates regarding shipping status, called customer service and the rep. Informed me "there was a problem with my credit card" and that is why my order was not processed. Now you would think if that was truly the case the customer would be alerted immediately when the order was first placed (like is standard with all other retailers). No retailer would ever process an order with a problematic credit card! So, I knew this was just a stall tactic. But given how hard it was to find a petite size coat and knowing with COVID there will inevitably be some shipping delays - I decided to give this company the benefit of the doubt. I provided the rep. With the same credit card information again and once reconfirmed she stated I would get an email with updated shipping information shortly. Two more weeks go by. No email, no updates, nothing! I call customer service back again (has now been 30 days since I placed my order) and give her my order # to check on shipping status and she says "we have no record of this order on file." WHAT?! I am staring at the order confirmation email (record) on my computer screen (that Chadwick's sent to me). How can they have no record on file?! Now I know this business is a scam. I ask to speak to her supervisor. She puts me on hold and when she comes back she says "the supervisors are in a meeting right now and will call me back in an hour." WHAT?! Here you have on the line, an incredibly frustrated/disappointed customer, who is trying to give you business and spend their hard earned money with your company, and you don't even have time to speak with them about this botched order?! To whoever is reading this review, save yourself the headache and frustration. DO NOT ORDER from this company ever! We should only reward companies that truly care about their customers with our business.

Chadwicks Of Boston Disappointing Customer Service Experience at Chadwick's: A Review

I've been shopping at Chadwick's for more than 20 years now, and I have to say that I've had a pretty good experience overall. However, recently my wife and I ran into a bit of an issue that left us feeling pretty frustrated. We had a simple problem that we thought could have been resolved with a little bit of customer service, but unfortunately, the representative we spoke with (Amy) was having a bad day and wasn't very helpful.

After our conversation with Amy, we decided to cancel our account with Chadwick's and we've sworn off shopping there altogether. It's a shame, really, because we've had so many good experiences with the store in the past. But when it comes down to it, customer service is everything, and if a company can't provide that, then what's the point?

If you're thinking about shopping at Chadwick's or opening a credit account with them, I would highly recommend that you think twice. There are plenty of other stores out there that offer similar products and better customer service. Don't waste your time and money on a company that doesn't value its customers.

Overall, I have to say that I'm pretty disappointed with my recent experience at Chadwick's. I hope that they can improve their customer service in the future, but until then, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Chadwicks used to be a great place to shop for clothes, but lately, the quality of their clothing has gone downhill. I recently ordered a pair of pants that were labeled as straight leg, but when they arrived, they were clearly wide leg boot cut. When I tried to return them, I was told that I would have to pay the return shipping cost, which was $13.80, even though I received the wrong item. I was very upset about this and felt like I was being taken advantage of.

I tried to explain the situation to the customer service representative, but they were not very helpful. They told me that I would have to pay the return shipping cost no matter what, and that there was nothing they could do about it. I was very frustrated and felt like I was getting nowhere.

Finally, I decided to take matters into my own hands and threatened to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They told me that I could donate the pants to charity, which was a nice gesture, but I still felt like it was not worth the hassle.

Chadwicks Of Boston Disappointing Experience with Chadwick's: Poor Customer Service and Lack of Ethics

So, I decided to give Chadwick's a try and placed an order on their website. I was excited to receive my package and eagerly waited for it to arrive. On 8 March 2019, I received an email from Chadwick's stating that my order had shipped. However, as of today, I still haven't received it.

I was disappointed and frustrated, so I decided to contact their customer service. To my dismay, they were not very helpful. They told me that they couldn't issue a refund without a claim number from the shipper. I was confused and didn't understand why I needed a claim number. I reached out to the shipper, and they informed me that they couldn't give me a claim number because Chadwick's did not insure the package. I was shocked and couldn't believe what I was hearing.

I paid $12.00 for shipping and handling, and I couldn't understand what Chadwick's did with that money. It was unclear to me, and I felt like I was being scammed. I wish I had read all the negative reviews about their lack of ethics before placing my order.

Chadwicks Of Boston Unhappy with Chadwicks VIP Program and Customer Service

I am not happy with my experience with Chadwicks. I was enrolled in their VIP program without my consent and they have been charging my bank account for two months. I have sent them two messages asking them to stop, but I have not received any response. This is not honest from Chadwicks and I am very disappointed.

However, after many attempts, I was finally able to talk to them today. They promised to unsubscribe me from the VIP program and refund my money. It was a hard task, but I am glad that they finally resolved the issue.

Overall, my experience with Chadwicks was not great. Their customer service was terrible and I was enrolled in a program without my consent. However, they did eventually resolve the issue and I appreciate that. I hope they can improve their customer service in the future.

Chadwicks Of Boston Terrible Customer Service Experience with Chadwicks Website Order

So, I ordered this blazer from Chadwicks website like 10 days ago. They sent me an email saying I would get more info within 24 hours, but I didn't get nothing. So, I called them this morning and they said their system was down and someone would call me back. But nobody called me back, so I called them again like 5 hours later. And guess what? Their system was still down! I asked for a supervisor, but they didn't give me one. I asked if there was any other way to check my order, but they said no. I mean, does their whole company crumble when their system is down or what? They couldn't even tell me when the system would be up again. And both times I called, I had to spell my last name like a million times. It's not even that hard! I even asked if they were going out of business, but they said no. But it sure feels like it, you know?

Chadwicks Of Boston Chadwicks: Terrible Service and Endless Hassle for Tall Sizes

I gotta say, I keep coming back to Chadwicks because they got the tall sizes I need, but dang if they don't make it hard for me every time. I always gotta call and make sure my credit card is good to go, and then they tell me it'll be 7-10 business days before I get my stuff. But hold up, when I ordered everything was in stock, so what's the deal? It's like they're playing games with me or something.

And then, of course, my order never shows up. So I call back and they make me verify my card AGAIN. By this point, I'm ready to lose my mind. I mean, come on, can't they get it right the first time? And then they tell me my stuff is out of stock and I gotta wait for months on backorder. Like, seriously? I don't have time for that.

I swear, every time I call, I can hear them typing away, probably making notes about how I'm a crazy person or something. And all they ever say is "I'm sorry." Yeah, right. You're not sorry at all. If you were sorry, you wouldn't be putting me through all this crap just to give you my money.

Honestly, their service is just plain awful. I feel like I'm begging them to take my money, and that's just not right. They need to get their act together and start treating their customers better.

Chadwicks Of Boston Chadwick's Review: Frumpy Clothes for Older Women, Not for Trendy Fashionistas

Chadwick's used to be a go-to for cute outfits, but nowadays it seems like they only cater to older women who want to look frumpy. The clothes lack any shape and every dress looks like a bag on the model. It's hard to find anything that stops above the knee and the colors are mostly pastel and sherbet, with very little black. As someone who isn't ready to dress like a frumpy soccer mom or old religious zealot, I wouldn't recommend Chadwick's if you want to look hot and stylish. If you're like me and want to show off your figure in the latest trends, black is your go-to hue, and you want to feel confident when you go out with your friends or hit the gym, then Chadwick's isn't the place for you. However, if you're a matron looking for conservative clothing, then this catalog might be right up your alley.

Chadwicks Of Boston Chadwicks Review: Struggling to Get Refund and Frustrated with Customer Service

I've been trying to get my refund from Chadwicks for a long time now, but it's been a real struggle. I returned some items back in March 2011, and I still haven't received my refund of $114.21. I've called them several times, and each time I was told that my items were being shipped or that my check was in the mail. But after calling back four times, I was finally told that my order got lost when they converted over to a new system.

I was really frustrated by this point, so I decided to contact the Mass Attorney Generals Office and the Better Business Bureau of Mass Bay to add my complaint to the list of customers who are struggling to get resolution. It's really disappointing that a company like Chadwicks can keep my money and cry broke, yet continue to send out catalogs.

To make matters worse, I found out in mid-July that the company is going through bankruptcy proceedings, which means I'll have to wait an additional 45-60 days before they can get back to me. It's really frustrating to have to wait so long for something that should have been resolved a long time ago.

Despite all of this, I was surprised to receive another catalog from Chadwicks last week. It's really sad that they can keep sending out catalogs while they're struggling to resolve customer complaints.

If you're thinking about ordering from Chadwicks, I would strongly advise against it. Save yourself the frustration and find another company to order from.

Chadwicks Of Boston Clothes

I ordered 700.00 worth of business casual clothes on 11/13/21. Received an email stating order has been received and would receive an email once order was completed. I have called 5x since yesterday. Was on hold yesterday for a total of 45 mins with no answer and today spoke with I believe the same woman all 3x and she said she couldn't find the order. The last time the woman acted like she couldn't hear me. I woke with lawyers so I am filing a complaint with better business bureau and he is going to contact the states attorney office to see if this is a recurring problem. My credit card has the charge pending so I have put a freeze on that but I just want the order cancelled and can't reach anyone to do that.

Desired outcome: Cancel order and cancel payment

Chadwicks of Boston is charging me $14.95 monthly for something I know nothing about and didn't sign up for. How do I stop this scam. What happened to this one time reputable company. I will NEVER order from them again. I will get the word out to my family and friends also. This is stealing. I am also reporting to the Better Business Bureau. I can't believe what companies are getting by with today. If it comes to it I will cancel my credit card they are taking the money from. Beware this isn't the Chadwicks of Boston of old.

Chadwicks Of Boston Stay away!

Please, make your prices and costs for shipping a little lower and you will get more customers than you have now.
At the first time, I didn't notice such a high rate of return and shipping and didn't want to cancel the order because I desperately needed those pants. But to say that I lost a lot of money is like to say nothing. Of course, I will never order from them again. It's very expensive for no reason. I can't say that the quality of the received pants is worth this money I spent.
Reading their policies I also noticed that the returning is not a free option. And even if it's their fault, they will win anyway. Very convenient. But no, thank you. I don't want to be taken advantage of.

Chadwicks Of Boston Chadwicks is a fraud business!

From my personal experience I can say that don't trust a company which does not accept PayPal! Chadwicks is a good example of such a company. In my opinion that's absolutely ridiculous, especially in our time. Millions of people buy things online and we all know that there are numerous scammers out there and we also know that PayPal is the safest way to buy online!
And a company which doesn't accept payments via PayPal automatically reveals its true scam nature! I took a risk and ordered from Chadwicks and that was the biggest mistake I've ever made! I lost my money and did not receive my order. Please beware and avoid Chadwicks, this is a fraud business!

Chadwicks Of Boston Scam

Do not order anything from websites which don't accept PayPal! I regret I bought from Chadwicks even though they did not accept PayPal, but I found something I really liked on their website and price was also nice so I decided to give it a try.
My order did not show up, they refused to cancel it and there was no way to get my money back. I have no idea what to do and where to seek help. All I can do is warn others about this terrible site!

Chadwicks Of Boston Shipped Stained Merchandise. No credit for shipping out & return.

Chadwicks shipped merchandise with sewing machine oil on it front and back and damage to the lace. They refuse to refund the shipping portion for sending the damaged item and the shipping it cost to return it using their prescribed label. Poor quality control. Do not buy from this company. You risk losing money. It is not a convenience and the majority of their products appear to be NOT made in the USA, but this is also not disclosed in their catalogues.

The entire line is damaged. They knew about it before the ship date. That is why they should eat the shipping.

Companies are not supposed to ship DAMAGED merchandise. If they do that and it's clear that it's a problem with the entire line, which they did indicate in my communications with them, that they should eat the shipping for the intentional inconvenience to the customer.

Chadwicks Of Boston Refund credit for 117.96

Order# c000494008, dated 8-9-2011; returned merchandise on [protected]; chadwicks received on [protected]. I called on [protected], spoke with Christopher, he explained the sale to distinstic apperal, showing a credit due to me for $117.96. Spoke with ms. Aviance on 12.20.11, on [protected] spoke with ms. Maehand, she transferred to ms. Aviance, she said credit at warehouse for $117.96 and a merchandise credit would sent out in 7-10 business days, by march 25th. Never received this credit. I called back on 4-1-2012 spoke with ms. Lakisha, she also stated warehouse credit would be sent only in 5 nusiness 5 days for $117.96, should have it by 4-9-2012, never received my credit. Can you help me get my warehouse credit issued?

Peter, Lane Bryant is the store that sells fat clothes. I've had issues with Chadwicks and Metrostyle too. i just spoke with a nice manager named Dana and she calmly told me I would be getting a credit on my account in 3-5 business days. Let's see what happens this time. Otherwise I am closing my accounts with these idiots and never doing business with them again!

Chadwicks Of Boston No refund on returned items

I ordered $221.94 worth of merchandise on Sep 14, 2011. On 9/29 all but one item was returned and received at their dock (delivery confirmation). I never heard anything back and on Dec 3 and 9 made phone calls to find out what credit holdup was. Same runaround as others have reported. Told reorganization going on, please be patient. I receive every month sale catalogs. When you request an item on sale it's no longer available. I asked the customer service representative do you have back orders, I was told no. Why send out the catalogs and you don't have the items? This is false advertisement. I was told by the representative the catalogs are printed six months in advance. This is ridiculous.

Chadwicks Of Boston Tracking Orders

I recently placed an order with Metro Style. Upon receipt of my order (missing an item), I attempted to contact them by phone. For two days I have been on hold (calls x 5) for more than 20 minutes only to be disconnected. You cannot get thru to this company - even by email. I then contacted Metro's sister company Chadwicks - only to get the identical voice recordings and the same scenario. I would not order anything from either of them as it is clear that something is not right. When I googled "parent company for Metro Style and Chadwicks" I saw where a company named Boston Apparel Group apparently owned both companies and according to the article in the Taunton Daily Gazette - July 2011, Boston Apparel is in a bankruptcy limbo as another company (Women's Apparel Group, LLC) under its umbrella have filed for Chapter 7. I called again today and still cannot get thru nor can I get a response via email. I would not even chance placing an order with these guys.

This seems to be the opening of Pandora's Box -- save yourself the headache. I'm sure there are other reputable catalog companies you can tap!
