CF Moto CFMoto UForce 1000 Clutch problems

I have a new Uforce 1000 that is almost dangerous to back up dew to clutch problems. This is a common problem and is well documented. My biggest problem lies with the dealership. (Koster Equipment Franklin NC) They know that this is a problem so what they have done is buy an aftermarket clutch kit and will sell it to you for double what you can buy it online for and also add 90 dollars an hour to install it.

Desired outcome: Install a clutch kit and make my side by side safe again.

I recently bought a cfmoto 1000 ad well and it is unsafe and not pleasurable to ride at low speed. By reading all reviews I found the cheap clutch kit from the factor is the problem. However trying to work with the dealer who knew of this problem and never advised when I purchased. Couldn’t test drive in a small parking lot with other business in it as well/unsafe. They advised after speaking with cfmoto warranty they are aware of the complaint and should drive 100-200 miles for all part to breakin. Mine has 102. No luck there either. It is not warranty problem. However the also claim some throttle cpu adjustment in the future is come out soon. I’m stuck with a payment and something that you really can’t ride. Going speak with an attorney soon. See what happens. Oh by the way dealership Tristatemotorsports Ashland Kentucky. Beware buyers!

CF Moto 2022 Adventura 650 entertainment buttons held on with double sided tape

I just bought the bike and it has less than 100 miles. I went to adjust the dash items using the buttons on the housing by the left mirror. The housing came off and inside the housing was double sided tape. I cannot believe that something like that is happening with quality. There is nothing to attach the housing( clamps or brackets)

I have ordered the new 800NK and I am worried if the quality starts like this on something new. I have 18 bikes in my garage and this is the first time I have seen something that is so inferior.

I hope that this was defect from the set up and not the build quality of the company

Desired outcome: I want the bike fixed. I have electrical tape holding it on the handle bars. You are just entering this market and cannot afford to have quality issues

CF Moto ATV

I purchased a new CF Moto ATV May 20th 2023.Noticed the first time we rode it something was wrong with steering so the first day I had off from work I took it back to West side Honda in Evansville Indiana which was a week later. They have had a brand new 4 wheeler tomorrow will he a month and CFMOTO keeps giving us the run around about fixing it. We are paying on a 4 wheeler that we can't ride like I said we only had it for a week . I'm very disappointed with this company I would not recommend them.

Desired outcome: Would love for you to replace for same thing or our money back.

CF Moto CF moto U 800

I purchased a uforce 800 in 2021 from long shore cycle center in Florence / muscle shoals Alabama . I really loved my uforce and garage kept it. Serviced it according to manual. An oil leak developed at 300 miles use. That’s 300 miles in 1 year so you know I wasn’t riding it very hard.

Took it to long shore cycle center to perform the work. It turned out to be the main seal leaking. We were advised by long shore to to ask for a new engine instead of just a seal repair “because the unit was still so new.

The warranty company agreed to this and cf moto shipped a new engine a couple weeks later I got a call that cf moto shipped “the wrong engine” and they were waiting to make it right. Well after having my u800 at longshore for going on 8 weeks I went down there to talk In person.

Now I’m really not happy.

According to longshore it would probably take 2 plus months to get a new engine from cf moto. So now we’re back to getting a seal replacement.

Well I just paid this unit off, it has only 300 miles on it and it will have an entire engine rebuild. I’m really not happy with that. And it will have only taken 9-10 weeks to do it.

Desired outcome: I would like to see CF moto stand behind their product. I paid for a new u800 that’s what I want a new u800 not a rebuilt u800.

CF Moto cforce 500s 2019. peeps module

EPS just went out my atv only has249 miles none off road it should not go out faulty parts if you ask me. Should be recalled could have been in accident because of it. I think it is part of the recall that is now on going. I paid a lot of money for this machine for it to be going out with so few miles I am older and need this to plow driveway. I would expect it to last longer than this. I was told it will cost 900.00 for parts not to mention labor and travel to get to dealer it hasn't even got first 300.00 oil change so dissatisfied and disappointed we are on fixed income this is a hardship

Desired outcome: Replace part for free

CF Moto 400 ATV

We brought our new 400 atvs in April of this year. The first machine cluster went out and that spend 1 month in the shop till they could get parts and had to cancel our trip. Now the other machine is in shop for almost a month now for a rear seal. They are still waiting on parts for that from warranty. But yet I can go onto your website and have one to me in two days. Wow talk about someone pissed off. I have to make payments on these machines and I can't even use them. I had to cancel trips and loss my deposit because of this. Now I have plans for the 15th and I might have to cancel as well this is unacceptable. My machine is at County Sports in Wisconsin Rapids. I just checked on Saturday and warranty still have not sent the part. How would you feel losing money and having to pay for something you can't even use.

CF Moto U Force 1000

Shifting problem. I'm unable to shift the UTV if it's idling around 1300rpm. I was told by the dealer that this is a problem with the 2019 U Force 1000. But if the vehicle is slowly rolling and at 1300rpm it should shift. I use the UTV for plowing and cannot shift when rolling. My wife cannot shift the UTV when idling and I spent a half hour trying to shift into park after backing into my shed. Very disappointed as this was supposed to be fun as well as a work horse. Help!

Desired outcome: Smooth shifting at any rpm

CF Moto zforce 950 sport

Cfmoto is aware of this issue and refuse to do a recall. They are using plastic weight sliders in the clutch and they will end up melting even as soon as 300km. They will blame tire size of any mortification you do but the truth of the matter they should not be using plastic in a high heat clutch. My machine has only 700km and 2 of my buddies are having the same issue at only 300km with factory tires. They blamed the belt getting dirty. This is a serious matter. They should do a recall on all cfmotos that use these plastic sliders that hold the weights in the clutch. This could potentially cause harm even possible death if someone is driving when the lockup occurs. I was going 50km on a road and it almost caused me to crash. Cfmoto head office does not appear to be doing anything to help everyone. they wait until you have an issue and decide on a case by case to approve or reject the repair. I would like everyone that currently drives a Cfomot zforce 800, 1000, 950 sport to start a class action suit.

Desired outcome: Cfmoto must replace clutch with a better one that does not use plastic sliders that can melt.

CF Moto CF Moto 550

We purchased this vehicle from MP Racing - 52 Ctra de Alcazar Industrial Manzanres 13200 Manzanares and imported to Spain on 24th Oct 2020 in kit form (photos were supplied), and presumably assembled by the importer. It was ordered on 1st September 2010 with a delivery date of 8th Oct 2020, but eventually delivered to us on 30th Oct 2020.

We have numerous problems with this vehicle.

The importers refuse to accept any responsibility for any of these problems.

They say if we deliver the vehicle to a service agent of their choosing, at our expense, they will attend to the problems. We have already paid an extortionate €650 to have it delivered to us in a van.

The problems are as follows:

1 The vehicle was delivered without a windshield (the advert clearly shows a windshield on the web site agriman.es who it was ordered through). This makes the vehicle unusable in rain.

2 The vehicle has EXTREMELY heavy steering, in all gears. The user guide claims to have "user assist" steering - there is no indication of this.

3 The gearbox cannot be removed from "park" position.

4 The Steering appears to "lock-up" in the reverse position and needs to select a forward gear to "free" it.

5 The user guide claims a minimum radius of 4750 mm and the tested turning circle is 10 Metres - this makes the vehicle unusable for the purchased purpose which was for use with a harrow in our horse corrals.

6 The engine cuts-out at speeds of 30 km an hour. This is in 2 wheel drive. It has not yet been used in 4 wheel drive.

I have emailed with the above information 5 different CF Moto representatives, non of which responded. 3 European ones - [protected]@cfmoto.com ; [protected]@cfmoto.com ; [protected]@cfmoto.com
Their media and after sales - [protected]@cfmoto.com ; [protected]@cfmoto.com

Desired outcome: All issues are fixed under guarantee.

CF Moto Fraud by cf moto thane

I had made full payment towards cf moto 650 mt to hridisha dream bike on 19th march 2020 on the assurance that bike will be delivered to me within few days. After not receiving the bike for many months and not getting any favourable response from the dealer finally on 10th june 2020 I told the manager mr chetan thale to cancell my booking and refund me the amount. Today its 26th september and I am still struggling to get my amount back. I have even complained to cf moto india but they told me that I will have to sort out the issue with the dealer itself. Cf moto india does not take any responsibility of amounts collected by their dealers.

CF Moto atv 400x cforce / service / parts and quality

ATV Model: Cforce 400x
Year: 2017
Purchased: 5/5/2017
VIN: CELDSZ29G6005030

Since purchasing from your dealer in NZ (Amuri motorcycles Ltd.) who imported from Australia from Mojo Motorcycles, I have had nothing but trouble with the function, support, spares and service from the dealer and your distributor. This has lead to a court tribunal in NZ which has taken over 2 years to resolve and in that time my warranty for this ATV is now void, with no remedy on at least fixing or repair. I was not informed of any issues with this vehicle on purchase, only in court was I told by your distributor that there had been issues with the brakes and oil pressure in the crank case which could of been resolved but wasn't.
I have had multiple issues with this ATV and the last was is the starter motor and electrical problems. This has now been left with me to resolve; with no service or understanding from your distributor or dealer mentioned above.

If this is how you value and treat your customers then this is completely insane and you have no responsibility and are void of any feeling.

CF Moto cfmoto cforce 500, atv leaked oil into clutch housing, low availability of parts in newfoundland & labrador, canada

I bought my bike from Rugged Terrain in Marystown, Newfoundland, Canada in May of 2015. It only had a little over 300 kilometers on it when I encountered my first problem during the winter of [protected]. It seemed like the belt was slipping. I took it to Clarenville Car Care, which is a CFMOTO dealer 30 minutes from home in July of 2017 to see if they could figure out the problem. They checked it out and noticed that there was oil inside the clutch housing which was coming from the primary clutch seal. They ordered another seal which took about three weeks to show up and installed it. I went for a ride a week or so after I got it back and only made it about 10 kilometers before the bike started smoking and shut down. I arranged to have it taken to Rugged Terrain to get them to check it out. They investigated and noticed the seal was gone again which leaked oil into the clutch housing again which caused it to over heat so bad that it almost caught on fire. The belt was disintegrated to dust and there was a lot of heat damage. I wanted them to do the work on it, but because the bike is still under warranty and it wasn't them that did the work on it the owner was told by CFMOTO that the bike had to be sent to Clarenville Car Care again for them to fix their mistake. The bike has been there now for almost a month waiting for parts. The parts come from a warehouse in Quebec if they have them in stock, if not it has to come from China. I was told by Clarenville Car Care that all parts were ordered and in stock in Quebec and a rush was to be put on these parts to be delivered (Air Freight). I was just at the garage yesterday to check if the parts were in yet and they said they were still waiting for one part, a clutch housing. This has made me very upset that I'm paying for a bike that's practically brand new, but have had these problems arise and to try and get the bike fixed only for it to take so long to get it back. I sincerely feel so bad right now that I could just burn the bike to the ground and bring it back to the dealer where I bought it from and tell them to shove it where the sun don't shine. I'm usually a very patient person but this is just getting out of hand now. The bike cost a lot of money and there are dealers close by to work on it, but getting parts in a timely fashion just doesn't happen even when the warehouse is just hours away by plane and even if it was sent by ground it should still only take a week not three to four weeks. What I would like is to bring the bike back and get my money back for it and the financing on it cancelled. If I can't get that then instead be given another bike in it's place because now I don't trust that this bike is going to be in the new condition that it should be in only having 360 kilometers on it. Thanks!

CF Moto atv

in responed to Mike Puglia complanint, when he bought the UTV from us he did recive the winch control and owner manual, as for bolts falling out of his unit, the bolts that he brought us did not come from his unit, this was something that he found and said it was from his. As in other problems that he had we only know of some of the minor problems which were fixed, the items that we fixed were from "use" this is an off road unit, Mike knows that the unit is ready to be picked up but does not want to pick up.
