I attended Centura in Columbia, SC back in 2009. I had to miss a few days due to a death in the family. I was told it was ok, and I could ttake my final when I returned. I got back after 5 days and was told I had to retake the entire semester. They allowed me to continue with my class during the day and at night I had to retake my classes again. I was litterally at school from 8 am until 9 pm. They did that just to charge me for the classes I was told to begin with I would not have to retake. Then at the end of it all at Graduation, I received Honor Roll Student, Deans List Student, Presidents List Student, Summa Cum Laude and get this PERFECT ATTENDANCE! I would like my money back from the semester you FORCED me to retake after stating I dind;t. I have been fighting this for years now on my own. I believe an Attorney will be taking this over for me and I am 100% sure that I will owe you NOTHING when this is finished.

I didn't receive my award check and I wasn't allowed to drop the class the person told me that I couldn't and that she had to put the money towards the class and that she save my spot when I wanted to return I didn't agree with that because I was behind and I was frustrated because I was promise help for my learning disabilities because I was in special education in school

When I joined Centura almost 9 years ago they had if you needed a computer they would send it to you. They sent me a old Dell tower computer and it worked for less than a month. I called Centura's tech support and they sent me a box posted by UPS to put the original computer in that they was supposed to fix, then a week later they send me a tower with no hard drive. I called them again and they said they was sending something else the next day a hard drive appeared at my door, I do not have any idea how to put a hard drive in a computer or have knowledge of its inner workings. So I was stuck with a tower, a bulky monitor and key board and mouse that they charged in my tuition 10, 000 dollars. Years later they went to the department of education and put that as apart of me owing them. Now its 2020 and I'm up to my eyeballs in debt, every year they are taking money away from my family that we need every year last year, 2019 I lost over 8, 000 dollars to the US Department of Education this year 2020 they just taken 9, 431 dollars of my federal and 576 of my state income tax. Centura is a scam, I should have known they were shady when I seen their add in the classified book with all of the other shady operations. The only reason I enrolled with them is because of my parents saying I needed to get off my butt and do something.

I attended this College in 2011 and my field of study was a medical assistant billing and coding. I was misled to believe that this school would provide the necessary credits that would allow me to get decent employment and salary when they know that is not the case you will be stuck with loans that you cant pay back. dont sign the contract you have been warned...

I attended Centura College, and I was at the end and about to graduate, they told me that I would had to come up with 1, 750 dollars to finish, I told them up front that I didn't wanted any student loans, but since I was about to finish I agree to get a student loan for that amount. two weeks later I paid off my student loan. Now six months later I get a letter from the loan department stating that my loan was due and my payment would be (X) amount. I called the loan department and stated that I paid off my loan, they told me that they gave the college the full amount of 3, 500 dollars and for me to talk to the school. So I went and they told me that I agree to paid this, and handed me a piece of paper stating that I agree for the full amount and it had my signature on it. I look at it and notice that it was not my hand writing. They forge my signature and told me it was mine. I hand someone to verify that this was or was not my hand writing and it 99.98% not my hand writing. So Centura College forge and fake and embezzled 1, 750..00 dollars. and now I have to pay that back to the loan department. They need to be investigate for fraud, forgery, and embezzlement.

Recently the company Centura College charged me for the classes, which I never attended and signed for it as well. I contacted the secretary and explained the situation, but she insisted that I attended and she checked it somewhere. I wanted to warn everyone, because these people are really dangerous and dishonest. They would charge you for everything possible. So be careful if you use the services of this company and post your comments about it. Thanks.
