Central Highlands Real Estate Property Management Group in Prescott Valley Arizona, has an employee who works for them namedMichaela Windsor, who has been committing fraud against their clients. She boasted to local friends about the mistakes she makes in billing and overcharging customers who rent out their homes via Central Highlands Real Estate LLC. We uncovered this after our elder brother was being serviced by Central Highlands for his properties. Our accountant investigated payments and noticed numerous issues. Clearly overcharged. When Michaela was contacted, she refused to take calls, hung up on us, and never responded to email. We only began to investigate after a mutual friend (who also knows Michaela) here in town shared with us comments by Windsor about how accounting is done at Central Highlands. She also boasted about how it happens all the time and she gets away with it because she is the "accountant, and nobody checks her work". Also boasted that her Manager also looks the other way in her behalf. Michaela also joked that the owners Ron and Patricia Fiedler have no clue what goes on around the office and are barely their on a daily basis. We feel the BBB and Prescott Chamber of Commerce should be aware of the actions of this woman and investigate Central Highlands, maybe even a class action case against them. Michaela Windsor is unethical and carrying out fraud against various customers who are absentee owners and have no way to protect their interests. We ask all customers of Central Highlands to have an accountant look at the last year of your statements and report any criminal fraud committed by Michaela Windsor to local authorities.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
We have been trying for months to get this complaint removed. It is libelous and a complete fabrication. The only way to do so is with a court order which is costly and difficult to do as both the party who posted this complaint and the website are protected with anonymity. We can get the complaint noted as resolved but resolution is not the same as absolution. There is no truth to the accusations. This is a character assassination and has been harmful both to our employee and our business. There are no specifics to the accusations, who, what, where, etc. No one has filed a complaint with the department of real estate, our property manager or with us the owners. We cannot disprove an accusation without any facts. However, the Arizona Department of Real Estate is required by law to perform random audits of every real estate company in Arizona. Just prior to this complaint we completed an audit. The audit reviewed all aspects of our business, policies and procedures, files records, contracts, bank accounts, receipts. and a comprehensive check of our books and accounting. We passed every check with "substantial compliance" and made the "Honor Roll" issued by the Real Estate Commission.
It is irresponsible of Complaints.com to post complaints without review or substantiation of any kind. To make the situation worse, as the victims of the complaint, we have no recourse. The best we can do is reply to it. Unfortunately, the accusations are still posted and we can only hope that our response is read and believed.
This was written by an ex-boyfriend. I know this because I dated him to, shortly after this victim left him and he showed me what he did. If I only knew then what I know now. I am sorry that he did this to this young lady and I hope that she heals from the destruction that he leaves in his wake.
