They tell you phone is a penny.
That is false advertising.
I own my phone and I am not on contract.
However, I have been with cellcom for more than 20 years. When I went into the store to inquire about the penny phone, we were told not only did they not have the phone they advertised, but also my bill would go up at least 20 dollars a month.
When I asked why, She told me it was because I would be on contract and that is the way it always was.
She then said, "they had to recoup some of the cost".
I asked, " If I own my current phone, and you sell the phone to me for a penny, than how could the bill go up by 20 dollars a month on such a long time customer"? No factual answer!
If my bill goes up 20 dollars a month on a 2 year contract, 20×24months=480 dollars.

Terrible company
I was employed by this company (splash or now cellcom in Llansamlet Swansea) to sell mobile phones I completed the training and I worked two weeks I was then told they were leaving me go as I had not hit my target, when I started 20 people was taken on but we were all finished two weeks later, its now four week's since I finished working there and I am still trying to get my wages out of this company they just find excuse after excuse, but I have been told that the welsh assembley pays this company in the region of £700 for every person they employ (this I have to get confirmed) anyone that has worked for this company I would like to here from you if you have not been paid so we can get something done as they are just con merchants. I have also asked the local tax office to investigate this company and I would like to know who the directors of this company are, so if anyone knows please put it on this site.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
