Celebswhiteteeth / after taking steps to cancel beware of computers down response
Reading the numerous complaints about the tendencies to cancel the subscriptions after the trail samples are received I must further add; I never received the trail sample and did call to cancel after the same problem with another company offering the same deal. At the time of my call to cancel the company told me that their computers were down and I continued to call only to get the same response about the computer problem. Needless to say I experienced the money being taken out of my account to pay for the yearly subscription of $150 rounded figure along with the process fee of 4.50 but this does not included the bank charges for overdraft fees when not knowing that this was going through.
The company was quick to reverse the charges within 3 to 5 business days but does not refund the 4.50 cent charge being it is a foreign country charge to the bank. This company also said to talk to the bank to reverse the overdraft charges which they are unaware that the bank only reverses charges that they are the one at fault. So because of their computer problems I am now left with charges totaling $70 more plus whatever else may clear the bank because this is deemed my fault. Sad story is that when one thinks they are getting something for nothing beware there is a cost and it is the consumer who needs to be aware of the fine print but even to the attempt to undo the process computers go down and we end up paying for it anyway.
The thing is right now everyone is out to get something for nothing including banks and credit departments so watch out there is a price to pay and it is usually the consumers ignorance that ends up costing.
