I am going to the media with my story regarding the CDI Campus...the reason being is that so many students are being taken advantage of when they want to further there education and make a life for themselves...I have also posted a story on this site and gotten a few responses from others so please continue the good fight... who are you to say that i am speaking for everyone...so what you had a good experience not everyone does and its being handled internally by the campus.
If you are thinking about going to CDI College I'm going to tell you right now change your mind. I'm enrolled in the HR payroll course and I have to tell you that the amount of problems I've had right from day one are more than ridiculous. More often than not the day you're supposed to start your course it has been not not been downloaded and you do not have access to it that day and perhaps maybe for not two or three days. I was one of the lucky ones we had one student who didn't have access to her course for 2 weeks in a one month course. I have had more issues with trying to get help from these people, they tell you that there's a student resources department that there's a number you can call that there's a help desk but I'm here to tell you there is no help available. I've been given false information I've had my grades change after they've been posted and I'm currently in a battle about one of my grades right now. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else do not give CDI College any of your money.
Update!
Not only has the school given me nothing but headaches and problems but they are now messing with my finances. Just found out today from Manitoba student loans. My student loan or at least the second half of it should have been released sometime on or around may 15th. I just found out from student aid today the reason my funding has not been released is because the school has not confirmed my enrollment. As usual I tried to get in touch with somebody and have been giving the runaround so far. I would really like to know who I need to talk to to Lodge a complaint that would actually do something about this school. If any of you have found any good places to Lodge the complaints please let me know.
I must tell you that I was employed by CDI College in the GTA for several years, and I have never seen a better (or worse) example of Mikey Mouse Management. The instructors are treated very poorly, the students are told lies while enrolling, and the the general level of instruction is not good.
I would advise anyone considering enrolling with this so-called school to look to the Colleges of Ontario (Seneca, Humber, etc.) or even the fine Universities that we have in the G.T.A.
Please keep away from schools like CDI! They are only interested in taking your money...I have met some very good instructors who just refused to work in such an oppressive environment!

it's too bad that you've had a bad experience but you don't speak for everyone. i've had a pretty good time at CDI. My teachers have been helpful and make sure i understand all the material. without there help i wouldn't have made it through the program. and without my diploma, i wuldn't have foudn my current job. i for one didn't have the same experience as you at all.
