Catnapper Furniture is Jackson Furniture out of TN. They are marketed on several online sites. I oredered mine from livingincomfort.com. They are also complicit in this complaint. They may even be in the scamming business together. I ordered the sofa On Feb 10th of this year and promised a 3 week delivery. It took almost 8. I have had the item LESS THAN 2 MONTHS! The 2 recliner ends are slumping and sagging toward the middle of the sofa, the padding on the footrests is non-exsistant and the bare plank board digs into your calves (esp the sharp corner). The upholstry on the pull-down middle (cup-holders, etc) is coming apart and the staples are exposed and has [censored]ed us several times, so that we can't use it anymore, but it is hard to put back up the whole way because of the slumping recliners! LESS THAN 2 MONTHS OLD! I called both Living In Comfort and the manufacturer (Jackson Furniture). I am supossed to have a blanket 3 year warranty on most of the sofa and a life time on other parts. You guessed it - no one is going to honor it. The manufacturer says it it Living In Comfort's problem and Living says it falls under the manufacturer warranty. What a scam. Living does not even have a phone number to call them and they don't answer emails. Do not buy anything from Living and dan't buy a catnapper product from any source. Be warned!

Bought soda, loveseat and recliner. BIG mistake. For the prices very disappointed as they fabric material has started literally ripping apart. It is like it is drying up and flaking off. DO NOT BUY!

Don't waste your money on there furniture, they do not stand behind there product! 9 month old recliner seat cushion core is sagging alot on right side. It's supposed to be a covered warranty item for 5 Years? Wayfair won't do anything, directed me to Catnapper/Franklin they won't do anything either, told me to contact Wayfair $1200 lost! I will tell everyone I know not to by this product

We bought a Catnapper recliner in 2018. One year later, the right arm broke away from the chassis. Also, my feet touched the floor (I'm 6 ft tall) on the store model, but not on the model they ordered and I picked up. It was not level or something. TOTAL LEMON. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BOGUS PRODUCT AND COMPANY. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. They simply don't care. Broken chair going to the curb.

I bought a new catnapper electric recliner In Oct 2019, within 2 months the controller went out we called the distributer (Mrs. B's) and they said they were a discount and they couldn't do anything about it we had to contact the company. We called the company and they told us that since we bought it from a discount furniture they didn't honor any warranty so we order a new controller and it took over a month to get it. Now the fram is bent in it and it hangs like a piece of Junk which it is. There was nowhere on the information that said a person over 200 pounds shouldn't use it. We are over 85 years old so we are not hard on furniture. We both get just a little over $900. a month for Social Security so I saved a long time to get. It is the biggest piece of junk I have ever bought
I have told everyone I know Not to ever buy from Mrs. B's or catnapper furniture. I have never seen such junk.

Same here. I had to put a 2x4 under the back legs to level the seat and make my feet touch the floor. Awful product.

Jackson Catnapper is definitely not quality furniture and once purchased, the customer has zero recourse when issues arise ( and they will arise ) ! We purchased a sofa, loveseat and ottoman and was told 6-8 week lead time, 3 1/2 month's later was told our furniture had finally arrived at Cincinnati Overstock warehouse in Cincinnati, Ohio. Once we rented a trailer ( to avoid their insane delivery fee ) & drove almost an hour away to get it, had to wait over an hour for employees to even find our furniture, then was given the wrong color sofa with the order. The correct one was actually there and eventually found but only with a huge wait time. Once the products were brought home and put in place, we found the ottoman didn't come with screws to even mount the legs and there was a sharp screw protruding from the back of the sofa towards the front almost coming thru the fabric. The ottoman would eventually be approved for replacement but only with another 3 month lead time and only with me driving back once again for the exchange, no sympathy or help what so ever from the seller or an offer for delivery & exchange. Its now 8-26-20 & we're finally supposed to be having a technician coming to our home tonight ( with a 3 hr. arrival window) between 4:30 and 7:30 pm. What legitimate company comes out at 7:30 at night and expects to do a repair like this ? I know just thru common sense that even if the fabric can be removed and the screw taken out or positioned correctly, the fabric will never be re-installed and stretched properly like it was from the factory and he'll say not his problem, call the warranty department which as you all know, never responds and the store we purchased from could care less too since they already got their money. Really wishing i would have purchased elsewhere and with a different brand, The only reason we bought to begin with was of the style, color and removable cushions so they could be cleaned and rotated as needed. Oh and by the way, we had to purchase the $400 ottoman site unseen, its cushion is not removable and the frame feels like plastic ! Whole thing weighs maybe 10-15 lbs & pops & cracks like its ready to fall apart any second. Had i known this i would have never even considered spending that kind of money on something of that quality, of course returning (or even exchanging) was not an option according to Cincinnati Warehouse. They have a very well trained person that will only communicate via email, will offer no other help other than forwarding your complaints, and makes comments like if you make a scene when voicing your complaints at the store will call the police. I'll be writing a review and reporting them to the Better Business Bureau as well. It's no wonder so many businesses fail in today's age with the lack of quality & caring about their customers or their return business, i will never waste another dollar with either one of these businesses and would forewarn everyone out there not to either unless you want nothing but junk and continued headaches. Unfortunately we've only had use of the sofa and loveseat for a little over a month now and haven't even been able to use the ottoman so i'm sure my problems are only just beginning and the replacement ottoman will likely not be any better than the 1st one : ( Don't waste your money or your time with either vendor i've mentioned ! Only buy from "local, honest, reputable" vendors who actually answer their phones, care about their businesses & customers & have GOOD reviews ! Obviously nether of these do any of the above !

I wish I read these reviews before I bought $700 power reclyner from midway store.it was on the clearance section, that’s the reason the store “can not do anything” when we asked to retrun for refund or exchange. We wrote to Catnapper company, they referred us to contact the store. We also filed purchase protection to Visa, no luck since according to their date calculation, it was over 3 months since we bought it, although it is still 4-5 days to reach mature 3x30days calculation. My back hurts sitting on it. Count me in if you guys organize class action to Catnapper and or Midway.

They need to pay for dumping these garbage recliners on the market. The arm on mine broke away from the chassis. Also over time, it bent backwards, had to stick a 2x4 under the back feet. I'm 6 ft 245 lbs. That shouldn't have happened. They need to be sued.

We purchased a Catnapper Monaco Power Reclining Sofa on August 18. It was delivered on August 20th. Immediately I noticed that one of the usb ports was defective & the material had the worst static electricity problem that I had ever seen! I sat on the sofa for an hour or so that night & noticed that it was much firmer than the one we sat on in the store. The next morning I called the furniture store to tell them about the defective usb port & I told them that the sofa was too firm. I was told that they would have to order the part & that I needed to use the sofa for a couple of weeks to break in the "fibers." I had to leave town that day to take care of my elderly Aunt. I was gone for almost a month. When I returned home, I called the store to schedule a time to have the new part installed & again I complained about the furniture being uncomfortable. I was told to "sit on it for a few more weeks." I wanted to like this furniture, so I did as I was told. I sat on it several hours a day & it made my back & body hurt so badly that I couldn't stand it! It was like sitting on concrete, so I ended up sitting on my old La-Z-Boy! A friend came to stay for a few days & she sat on the Catnapper. She said that her body hurt so badly she felt like she had been in a car wreck or something. I called the store back & insisted that I needed to exchange this sofa. That's when I was informed that they have a 24 hour return policy & if I was not happy with the sofa I needed to contact Jackson Furniture. I emailed Jackson & of course they told me to contact the furniture store. I responded that the furniture store had referred me to them. I also asked if they were going to stand behind their furniture, since the store was not going to. They did not respond. I emailed them again & said since you did not respond to my last email & no one is willing to replace this horribly uncomfortable sofa, can you please offer advice on how to soften it up or make it tolerable? And of course they did not respond. So, in an effort to prevent anyone else from blowing hard earned money on a piece of Jackson Furniture, I'm telling you to RUN AWAY! Sure, it looks nice & it might even feel decent in the store, but you will HATE it when you get it home! You would honestly be better off sitting on the floor! The "Comfort Coil Seating featuring Comfor-Gel" is a farce! There is absolutely nothing comfortable about it & you cannot get rid of the static electricity from the inferior microfiber material! I'm serious... JUST DON'T!

My Wife and I decided to Purchase the Catnapper Sofa and Chair. Well our first Sofa started sagging on the right side and complained and Rhonda's Furniture in Dalton Ohio sent us a new Sofa after about 3 month. Well the new one arrive and it was only a matter of only 4 months with the same issue. They sent a rep out to look into the issue and wed received a Email back saying its not a manufacture issue and they will send a new frame but we need to pay shipping and installation. Well there goes my blood pressure and we called the rep and asked about the warranty, our answer back was them hanging the phone up.
Jackson Furniture does not honor the warranty in any way. The big kicker is we paid $1000.00 for capet/installation in our living room and found the bent frame gouged a hole right down into the floor.
Presently I'm going to see if I can take any legal action into this company and a word of warning DO NOT BUY there furniture.

I bought a Catnapper 14 months ago and within 3 months there were fuzz balls on the fabric. Now 14 months later the motor is out. I can't seem to get a claim filed online like Weekends Only told me to do and there is not a phone number on the website for Jackson Furniture. I am thoroughly disgusted. I'm retired and therefore on a fixed income and can't afford to buy another chair. I previously bought a recliner for $149 that is a much better and more comfortable chair than the Catnapper. Very disappointing.

My husband and I are looking to buy new furniture and was thinking on buying a Catnapper reclining sectional after reading these reviews IDK now if we should. These reviews really surprised me and has me thinking twice about this product and the company. What I liked about the Catnapper sectionals (after spending a day out looking and sitting on them) were that they were firm and seemed durable. But again after reading these reviews I'm afraid to purchase one now. I might understand having some of these issues if it was low priced furniture, but it's not... the sectionals I'm looking at are between 2, 200 and 2, 900 dollars. I was trying to avoid Ashley products because I've had bad experiences with them. And the same with customer service and warranty. It's absolutely ridiculous that the sales reps and companies get away with this! Very frustrating! Thanks for the reviews.

5th of Dec. 2017
We purchased a Catnapper from ABC Warehouse in Detroit in Oct. of 2015. The vinyl covering started peeling on the seat in one area the first year so we bought a pad to cover it. We complained to ABC to no avail. They passed the buck to Jackson furniture out of TN. We phoned them and basically said they could do nothing about it. Since then one arm started peeling really badly. The chair only gets used by my 72 year old wife for TV watching. There is no customer abuse whatsoever. After reading others complaints, I agree there should be a class action suit against Jackson Furniture, TN. The chair will have to be donated if anyone would even want it now.

Catnapper service is the worst I have ever seen in a company. I strongly recommend to buy from any other company no matter how much you like their product. I submitted a warranty claim for 2 loveseat cushions in April 2017, it is now November and still no couch cushions. They have shipped them 5 times now and have sent the wrong size every time. Not to mention the length of time it takes for them to even acknowledge their screw up and fix it, it's an absolute gong show. It's been 3 weeks since i received my last shipment of incorrect couch cushions and they have still not dealt with it. I was joking when I said to the rep, "Do you think I will get them by Christmas?" I guess the joke is on me as I likely won't get them until the new year. I will never buy from them again or recommend them to anyone.

We bought a catnapper recliner in September of 2015. Most uncomfortable chair we've ever bought. The "leather" headrest got holes in it and start peeling apart. Farmers Furniture in Perry, Ga refuses to do anything about it and the manufacturer refuses to do anything about it. We've had cheaper recliners that sat better and lasted many years longer than this piece of crap!

I to have purchased a catnapper voyager loveseat and recliner about a year ago. Started having problems after 2 or 3 months. Farmers Furniture manager and employees have been wonderful on trying to get things done. The problem lies with catnapper. I have been waiting on a part that should have arrived 4 weeks ago. This furniture is very poorly made. DO NOT BUY CATNAPPER. I have never had any other furniture to be so poorly made as catnapper. The padding and cushions are horrible. The frame on the recliner is flimsy.

The catnapper desmond is such a piece of junk, a dangerous, stupid design. When reclined the seat and back cushions are separated by 5 inches and any thing can fall thru. Now the springs are collapsing and sharp pieces of wood are hitting me on the tailbone and ###. Never put a baby on this couch. the 5 inch grand canyon crack will pull a baby in because he couch is Not a 10 degree lay-flat. Its a 15 degree that unfolds into two disconnected pieces that have a sharp piece of wood hidden in the gap. I thought I bought a good couch but this is a ghetto couch. I thought it would be similar to a flex-steel sofa but the frame is weak and racked. It is over stuffed to cover poor design, Your ### falls into a huge gap and slams your tailbone. This is the sofa that you buy for your mother-in-law. haha, ... what a piece of #### it is, Product safety is failing in America, This sofa is very dangerous. David MacDiarmid

BUYERS BEWARE! Don't waste your money on Catnapper recliners. They're nothing but a piece of junk. Bought two recliners from the Barksdale Exchange and the outer covering began peeling off on both of them. They aren't even two years old. A piece of writing paper is thicker than the outer covering of the recliners. Jackson Furniture should be put out of business for selling people inferior products. If you're looking for furniture and the tag says Jackson Furniture -- RUN OUT OF THE STORE AS FAST AS YOU CAN -- you'll save yourself from being conned!

Worse piece of CRAP I`ve ever had in my home.Couch is peeling & material falling apart.Bought it at Farmers Furniture in Ozark, Alabama. They said they would replace it but it would be special order & would take 6-8 weeks to come in.I checked with the store manager about 3 weeks ago & was told it would arrive Nov.29.Well, it`s Dec.10 & haven`t heard a word.I think they should be reported to The Better Business Bureau & anyone else that could put them out of business! If anyone starts a class action law suit, I would certainly like to be included!I read somewhere that this might happen!

I bought my Catnapper Voyager in May of 2016. In only two months the padding in the seat and footrest had sunk and sagged down making the chair VERY UNCOMFORTABLE to sit in. I had owned a LAZY BOY prior to buying the Catnapper and that chair remained comfortable to sit in for 10 years! This CATNAPPER IS A PEICE OF JUNK and is terrible quality and a huge waste of money. I can feel every spring and board in the seat now and my hip hurts after only sitting in the chair a few minutes. I am going to have to purchase an upholstery replacement cushion to even be able to continue using the chair! I am VERY DISAPPOINTED and wish that I hadn't wasted over $700.00 buying this lousy worthless junk! I could have gone to the thrift store and purchased a used chair and had something more comfortable to sit in! Memory foam my [censor]! The only thing it remembers to do is remain 1/20th on an inch high and hurt my butt! The reason these chairs are called CATNAPPER is because the only thing that can sit in it comfortably is a cat!

I'd like to know if there's a class action suit as well. I have permanent back damage from this piece of junk. I need back surgery, but surgery is not an option for me because I have one lung, lost the other to lung cancer and I had BOOP and went into respiratory failure. My lung won't hold up to be sedated for another surgery. So I'm basically going to live the rest of my life in debilitating, unrelentless pain.

BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE! DON'T BUY CATNAPPER BRAND! We purchased two leather Catnapper recliners less than two years ago (December 2015). During the first year of having the recliners, one of the handles on the side of the chair broke. We got that repaired. Now, the leather on one of the recliners is literally peeling off from the material that it is bonded to. The leather is so thin--thinner than a piece of tablet paper if that is even possible. The recliner has not been abused. My husband and I are elderly. We don't have any small children or pets--so that is not an issue. These recliners have a nice appearance and rich feel to them, but that is deceiving. They look like they would last for many, many years. However, after less than two years of use the thin leather layer is peeling away from the material underneath it. I will never purchase the Catnapper brand of anything. Their products are not worth a plug nickel. Don't buy Catnapper--you'll regret it.

P.S. The other Catnapper recliner has not shown any defects, yet. That being said, it is probably because it doesn't get any use except for when we have family members occasionally visit.

I purchased 2 catnapper recliners in Dec 2015. My husband and I too are elderly and the chairs are not abused. After 15 months, the chairs started to peel. I contacted the store I purchased them from and was told that they were no longer in warranty, but that he would try to help me. He contacted catnapper who told him that they no longer had the material to fix my chairs. Reason was that they had made the material too thin and they had had so many complaints that they no longer carried that material. So, they noticed the problem and just quite making them. What about all the people that got taken. We paid high dollar for these chairs thinking that they would last us a lifetime. We were told that to get them recovered would cost more than we initially paid for the chairs. I think a class action suit should be brought against catnapper.

We purchased a Cat napper lift chair last fall 2015. We have already had to purchase another lift chord. The main complaint is that there is no padding the arms. Just the two boards holding the material. It is very uncomfortable for my husband. We have to put pillows on each arm to keep the wood from digging into my husband's arms. Need something done.

Catnapper my a##, crapnapper is more like it. How can a company boast about it's products being made in the U.S.A. When it is made out of imported junk parts by don't give a sh## people. Worst experience with furniture I've ever had.
Leather is not from any animal I've ever seen.Unless I'm mistaken, cows are not built out of cheap plastic coated fabric that peels within the first month. Replaced once repaired twice. Still peeled. I hate to exercise my warranty options due to lead times of eight too twelve weeks for replacement parts. Love seat is bent and twisted and shedding it's finish like a snake. How about it people I think it's time to start a class action lawsuit and put these rip-off artists out of business. I would be ashamed if I worked for this company, at least I have a conscience.

Bought a catnapper from Feceras within one yr the brain went wrong and also the left back of the chair fell apart. Little over a yr the brain control went bad again Federal would not repair it again. The store and the repair service would not even talk to me. Bill the head person at Ferceras quit. I had to call the company catnapper refereed you to a company in Cleveland and bought the parts. They even said they were having problems with the parts. Now two yrs. later the motor quit can't even get a hold of catnapper at [protected] and [protected]. Wethere you push button one or 2 or 3 for service all you get is the answering machine. No live people answer the phone now with no chair to recline in my legs have swollen. And put on more weight I had to buy a chair from Boscovs named catnapper they told me it is under warranty for one yr. after that catnapper would take care of it. I am calling Boscovs and letting them know the reputation of the company catnapper is not reliable.

Went to a local high end furniture retailer. I thought I had found the perfect power recliner. I had been researching chairs for 6 mos. I saw the "Hanes, leather power reclining sofa set on the retailers website. It has everthing I was looking for. Leather. Power recline. Nailhead trim. The "Hanes" set included individual coil springs in seating. Comfor gel. Memory foam. After a couple of weeks of "we can't find it, oh, we found it" mishaps, they did finally deliver the chair I had supposedly actually sat in. Well I did not receive a Hanes recliner. I received a Jackson, Jordan, Catnapper. Tags all over the chair confirms this. I called HOM furniture and spoke w/ the mngr. I told him that I rcvd the wrong chair. He informed me that I did not. It is common for a retailer to change the model name of a furniture set when it is put online or in the showroom. WTReally? Is that legal? Sounds like bait n switch. Because I would of NEVER paid over $1000.00 dollars for a chair that has such horrible reviews! I research thoughly ALL my big purchases. When I found Hanes had no bad reviews I thought my money was well spent. Wrong. The chair is all ready sagging to the right. (Im not a big lady). The head rest is so big it pushes my head and neck forward. The back arch pillow is flimsy. Almost sitting in a "C" position in this chair as I write this. Is what this retailer did even legal. Certainly not ethical

Oh, by the way, it's not made of solid wood, it's made of cheap particle board! And we were told that catnapper factory in TN, went on strike, and they had to have it made over seas then shipped from Denver, Colorado to our residence in Ohio! Everytime we called, we got the run around! Talk about poor customer service... yet they had no pro lem taking our money! Please beware folks... Had I known this, before I bought everythig, I would have saved the headaches and hastle, on such ignorant people, and a crappy company! Grrrrr

My fiance and I bought the catnapper concord 143 series, through sofa sectionals.Com and it was the power reclining 3 set suit. The love seat, recliner, and sofa set. We ordered it January 2015, and was promised 4-6 weeks on delivery. We didn't receive anything until 6 months later, and went without furniture! Then, upon delivery, they only brought the love seat and recliner. We had to wait 2 weeks for my sofa! We didn't have it for not even 2 months, and the arm rests and sides of the recliner and sofa, we're falling apart, and they sent a tech out 5 times, and need him to come out, yet once again to repair them! He told us, it was poorly made, and was put together with just large staples, no wood glue or wood screws. He put extra glue and screws, to fortify it. When calling customers service, they were very rude.we asked if the repair tech can just fix it all at once, and fortify it- and their response was no, it has to be done, as it happens and when we make a claims report on it! We have a year warranty through them, but a lifetime warranty on the frame and motors. Doesn't make sense. We paid nearly 4000.00 straight out on our debit card-for 3 pieces of junk! And to think it's American made furniture! SMH! Something has to be done! I am ready to contact an attorney to get our money back as well as punitive damages... this is ridiculous!

I purchased my catnapper recliner with heat/vibro massage...The heat/vibro stopped working and i called the retailer babcock furniture here in lutz florida...Because i had purchased a warranty agreement...They sent a tech out and he tightened up the loose reclining mechanism and put in an order for an ac transformer to power up the chair...Because the manufacturer (catnapper) had run the power connection out between the rocking mechanism and it was cut...Well they said it would take 4 to 6 weeks to recieve my transformer...I called and complained and the store was sent the "control head for the chair"! and the order was for a transformer...Now i have called both the store and the warranty company...Both of which decline responsibility pointing the finger at one another and finally at (you guessed it) catnapper furniture! which is like a ghost...Now the clock supposedly has been reset to 4-6 weeks... I place the blame at babcock furniture's door, as the retailer they are responsible for what they sale...And offering a warranty that you pay for does not release them from being responsible for customer satisfaction...
