Cashbaq - Nonpayment of rebates

Cashbaq would not pay the rebates I earned. I waited over 8 months, all awhile submitting requests to release payment. I would receive emails back say it would be 1/20/2011. When that date came and went, I logged in and noticed my date had changed to 3/20/2011. I sent another email over the weekend of 1/29/2011. As of 2/1/2011, I still have not heard. I...

Cashbaq Unresponsive to non-payment

I had earned a check for Nov supposedly sent 11/20. Never received the check. set up several tickets w/ customer service over the past few weeks to confirm check was sent. No Reply.

Update: I haven't posted in a while due to the case being on going. The Case is suppose to happen in June now after being delayed twice by cashbaq. We'll see.

here is an idea speaking as someone also impacted by the unexpected default of cashbaq.com on its members.

1) start a website or a facebook page or something to get everyone who is owed cash back rebates to join.

2) on this website put instructions on how each person effected by this can submit a complaint to the state AG of CA.

3) have one person from this group of people volunteer to file civil or class action law suit against the owner(s) of cashbaq.com and in such a lawsuit put reference to all the others effected by this who have already complained with the state AG of CA.

4) the same volunteer needs to post updates as they are made available on this website.

If these 4 steps can be followed, then everyone *should* get some form of cash back from the amounts that are owed to them, not necessarily the entire amount(s) owed. This will also take some time and patience while the process takes its course.

SO MAD! No email, no warnings from Cash Baq. To top it off, no "Contact Us" button on their site. VERY unprofessional! I always used big crumbs rebate program, as well as cashbaq. TRY BIG CRUMBS! They've got a ton of partnership stores, great % rebates. ** Use referral id: 7saturdays

Considering most of our rebates were earned in July and cashbaq posted up until November 15th on twitter (5 days before the checks where suppose to go out). I want to know how they can explain pulling the sorry we're out of business thing two months later.

I just filed a complaint with the CA Attorney General. Thanks for posting the link. Its a great ideal for everyone who is owed money to file, it will definitely get their attention and he may be prosecuted for scamming people.

We should all file a civil class action lawsuit. At least we'll get some money back. This can't be legal and it is probably an automatic win for us. I am owed some money and they never answered my inquiry and cheated with the next check date by moving up the date by another month.

On February 1, 2011, Cashbaq.com, an internet cashback website, posted that they are no longer in business. "Like so many other companies, Cashbaq was hit by the worst recession of our lifetime. We regret that Cashbaq is unable to continue operations and has shut down." (http://www.cashbaq.com/). This was after several weeks of blog posts from members who were stating that they never received their recent cashback payments. While Nanoosa.com does not like to see this happen to anyone, we would like to help support those who were former members who have not received their cashback.

Considering the site was open for months after the so called checks were sent leads me to believe it's just a way to cover up that fact of a lie and went on operating. Hope you guys took screen shots and my court case is in March vs them.
