CashCall rip off!

Cashcall is not a good place to get a loan... I have been paying them for almost 3 years now and have only paid the interest... Yes I needed the loan, we were heavy in debt from three major surgeries that were not covered completely from our medical insurance. But the interest rate is just unbelievable. And they lie over and over "don't worry about the numbers they wont really be that high" when I became homeless and closed my bank account they said I could pay with a money order and if I paid late I would just need to pay the late fee, Ya right I just found out months later that I am incurring a 3-5 dollar a day increase on my loan for ever day late I pay... That just doesn't seem right.

This may be the worse company I have ever dealt with. I took a loan out with them back in April of 2007. Sure the day I spoke to the woman who handles the paperwork online was as nice as could be, telling me not to pay attention to the 'numbers' meaning the payments and interest rates. She pushed me into thinking everything had to be done right away basically not giving me the time to read all the fine print. She did say however that I had 24 hours to read over anything after the money was deposited and if I decided that I did not want the loan I could call back and they would deduct the $2500 from my checking account.

Well that Monday night I was rushed to the hospital and was admitted for 5 days. After getting out I called Cash Call explaining my situation and that I couldn't call to stop the loan - I was willing to show them paperwork from the hospital proving that I was admitted. There answer was - 'Sorry there is nothing we can do for ya' and hung up the phone. They really do take advantage of people who are in need and have no guilt what-so-ever.

I actually closed my checking account so they couldn't take the payments out. I had to beg and plead with them to refinance the loan to get the payments down to $126 per month. On top of it all, they never sent me any type of invoice letting me know when the payments were due but yet they got right on the phone letting me know the payments were late.

I wish there was a law that wouldn't allow company's like this charge the interest rates they do. Maybe we should all get together and each file a lawsuit against them!

I too borrowed money from CashCall because I desparately needed it to save my home in December 2006. I borrowed $2525. Like everyone else, I don't really recall them telling me the interest rate or length of time to pay. I did not have a computer at the time and had to go to Kinkos with my granddaughter to help me. Trying to get it done quickly so as not to pay more for the use of the computer, I did not have time to review the agreement before authorizing it. My payments are $216.55 a month. I thought I was making my final payment last December, but when I called to check, boy was I surprised. I found out rather quickly I still had until May 2010 to pay for a total payoff of $9100.97. Is this not rediculous?! These payments have been automatically coming out of my checking account the first of each month. Can I legally call my bank and have them stopped? What will CashCall do if I do this, sue me? I just was told yesterday that due to the automotive crunch, my work week is being dropped to 32-40 hrs a week when I have been getting from 48-65 hrs a week. I was barely able to meet all my bills even when I was making the good money. Has anyone filed a class action suit against them? Let me know. Thanks

I to received a loan from them as well. I received my loan in 2006, and now in 2009 with the high interest rates, I still owe pretty much of what I actually borrowed, I have been out of work sick for the last three months, and other than that they have always received their payment every month on time. I agreed to pay them by money gram. I didn't want them to debit anything out of my account at all. Anyway, they will call you, and call you all day. I had six to ten messages a day just about. I finally received a call from a Ms. Bonner she seemed very nice I explained my situation to her, she said call her back and see if I can make some kind of agreement with getting back on track, but I want to make a settlement with them, have it in writing, and move on. There seriously a pain in the a--, I want to talk to them about a settlement, It was only a 2, 600 loan, and as I said its still 2, 600. Go figure. I hate this company and would never recommend it to any one ever.

They are the worse i have ever dealt with. I took out a loan was paying on time then took ill and four surgeries later fell behind on everything. cash call was horrible with the abusive phone calls..."it's your bill, you didn't have a problem taking the money or spending it..." no, i sure didn't and you were being paid on time untill my kidneys decided they did not want to work! They called my references non stop, three four times a day, they called my work all day even though they knew i wasn't there for four months, they would call my cell phone 13 times a day, even blocking their number, calling back to back to back. the hospital told me i had to keep the phone off at that point it got to the point that i had to change my number. needless to say when i got on my feet THAT is when they offered a settlement $3000 for the $5000. but keep in mind there was a year of good payments at their high interest rate which meant they didn't lose a penney. of course while setting up the settlement plan it had to be 6 payments at $547...that a car note! they dont work with you, instead they are nasty, verbally abusive thieves who take advantage of those in need and desperate and then talk down on you and make you feel like you are a criminal. oh, now that there is a settlement in place, they call to remind me when my payment is due. i don't need you to call me to let me know when a payment is due...call me when it's late, the harassment just continues...had to change my number again! they just down right suck! don't do it, don't sign your peace of mind away !

CashCall awful interest rate!

I Took out a loan with them maybe 2 years ago, for more than 2,000 dollars, and they would not tell me the interest rate until after the loan was settle, and the interest was at least 500.00 dollars on top of the loan, and the next month they started taking payments of 215.00 a month and i don't think it was fair, and now i can't get any thing on credit now, so now I'm screwed, and stuck with BAD CREDIT, and after I had switch Banks, they started calling me and I told them that I could not afford the whole payment, and the person on the phone got an attitude with me.

cash call is a ripoff. took out a 1000 dollar loan, had a question, contacted cashcall, just found out what i thought was a six month loan is actually a 25 month loan with interest accruing daily. please contact me if you have any information on how to stop this company from destroying people's credit.

just to let you know, if you don't pay cashcall, they would sue you and then garnish your paychecks if you don't show up on the hearing.

but that's better because they could only take the legal amount of interest that they could versus paying them every month for years to come (interest being thousands of dollars). think about how much interest you have even if you're paying good and on time. if you don't plan on paying them, let them sue you then show up at court and pay what's to be ordered by the judge.

that is, if you have bad credit and there's no more hope in salvaging it. or if you still haven't gotten back to good financial standing.

they are simply inhumane. they take advantage of people who are already struggling and harrass them to the point that it's degrading.

I had a loan with cash call that I was unable to pay due to entering into alcoholic rehabilitation at a residential recovery home in January of 2008. I resided in that facility until May of 2009 at which time I entered into a sober living residence (at which I currently reside). I just received a letter at my place of employment from Greater California Financial Services Legal Dept. stating they attempted to collect this debt on September 1, 2009. (I never received any notification). They claim they will take legal action within 10 days of the date of the letter (May 10, 2010) unless payment is made. Someone from their firm called the owner of my place of employment last week stating they were going to garnish my wages. I am very upset as I cannot afford to pay the $6, 055.97 they claim I owe. (The original loan was for $5, 000.00 in 2005/2006). I am now just barely getting on my feet after being unemployed from November of 2007 through March 2009. If contact is made with my employer by them again I risk losing my job. Please let me know if anyone else has been able to fight these people. The interest they are charging is outrageous and I am at my wits end.

I hate Cash Call. They're horrible people! They're nice to you when you first apply but once you've signed that fu***** contract, they will stalk and harrass you. I feel sorry for anyone who falls into their trap. Especially those who sign up for a mortgage loan! God help all these people. The government should shut that hell hole down!

CashCall cashcall will stress you out!

Well just like lot of people out their we to got a loan from this company, cash call has become our worst nightmare, we have been with them for 1yrs and within the year of being with them they took my money, out of my account 3times after they got paid. Took their time giving it back. Of course my bank charged me overdraft fee. Call them, they said I'm crazy but they took my money, lied every time i called to ask about giving us back our money. This went on until i went to my bank and told them what this company did, we blocked them out of our account because they was making my other bills bounce and i wasn't having that, so they got blocked out of my ck account so i do money grams. Now these people put us behind in our bills and we still haven't caught up, yet they never even said that they were sorry, they didn't care this is the worst company that i ever came in contact with. I start document phone records time and dates names if i can number they called from sometimes they block their number, they start call from 8am to 9pm all day sometimes, they don't even say anything or they just hang up, i ask for a bill they wont even send a bill like most company make you wonder. Mmm why is this company getting away with this outrages fee, they pray on the working class poor i said poor because even though we all work some of us live pay ck to pay ck and they prey on the poor this company knew before they gave all of us a loan they knew if you had slow payment history or good paying history if their is a class action suit against them count me in just for stress and harassment something has to be done about this company.

To Whom It may Concern,

I am at my wits end over this company called Cash Call. I was used as a reference by my sister who took out a loan with them. She fell behind on her payments earlier this year due to an accident which left her temporarily unable to work. Cash Call started calling me about 2 month ago, first trying to inquire about my sisters phone number. Since then they are calling me up to eight times a day and have begun threatening me. In one phone call the person tried to say that I was my sister. In another phone call I was told that I had better cooperate or that they will make it hard on me. They have even tried to send me loan documents to sign on her behalf... they are asking me to pay for this loan. These people are nuts.

I need some sort of relief, I have asked them not to call but they disguise their number and call on several different phone number or marked the line as unknown. They have been harassing me on my cell. I contacted my state and was told that there is not much that they can do but I have to fill out a complaint form and it may take up to several weeks for a response. Not only are they calling me but they are also calling my elderly mother and have threatened her as well. They openly discuss the amount of this loan with any and everyone that they have contacted. I was under the impression that if you are not the client they cannot discuss your personal business. I guess that this is not so with this company.

Tonight I got another round of phone calls. The representative tried to tell me that I promised to help them by sending money for an account that I do not have with them. I told her Not to call me again. I hung up and seconds later she called me again, wanting me to give her information on their client that they already had. I told her that I had confirmed that information for them several months ago and not to call me again. She then threatened me and said that this is the reason why my PEOPLE have a problem. Now she went there with an ethnic assumption.

What gives these so called companies to harass a person that a) is not a client and b) not a cosigner on this loan.

I await a reply with any assistance that you can offer.

Thanking you in advance.

Sincerely,

Maria Gonzalez

I looked for different companys for a personal small loan of $ 2500.
I just lost my mother and needed money to pay for funeral services and I send all my prove of documents of what I needed to pay and I went online to see if I could get a personal loan and I was approved . I was relieved and I paid all my payments on time for 3 years not one missed. But as I got closer to paying them off They got aggressive with phone calls day and night, weekends and at my work #, w-mails, shame on all of you at Cash Call Inc also The president who run Cash Call Mr. Paul Reddam. I have pay you over the amount and you guys still are trying to collect on this paid loan.

I am trying to pay them off the full amount. But they refuse to take my check giving me one reason after another why they can't accept it. They are telling me the only way they can take it is by sending it through Moneygram which would cost me a few hundred more dollars that I can't afford.

Please go online and file a complaint against Cash Call with the Better Business Bureau of Anaheim ,California. The more complaints they get, the lower their rating will be. Since I filed a complaint with the BBB last week, Cash Call has stopped harassing me, my sister, my ex-husband, my mother, and my ex-mother in law.

When Cash Call, or any one else, deducts more money out of your checking account than they are authorized to, you must file a complaint with your bank, and the bank will have the money back for you within 48 hours. It's just a simple piece of paper you have to fill out, and the bank does the rest. I notified Cash Call in writing that they are no longer authorized to take money from my account. They did it three more times, and each time my bank reversed it. Cash call is well known for breaking the law.

CashCall harassment and outrageous interest rates!

The outrageous practices of CASH CALL include harassment, threats, high interest rates... please start the ball rolling on an investigation towards a CLASS ACTION. It's causing me anxiety, stress and illness... this business and OWNER PAUL REDDAM must be stopped. Paul Reddam has violated these laws before, been sued and lost before with DI TECH and his other lending companies. They are legalized loan sharks preying on the less fortunate during low points of financial chaos. They act like they are offering you help from debt and they put you in deeper debt charging nearly 100% interest rates.

We all know we took out loans, but they are ruining our lives with harassment and outrageous interest rates, please fight for our rates to at least be lowered to a decent standard for everyone and/ or shut this awful company down for poor business practices and unlawful tactics!

They call work when letters are written to stop calling places of employment, they harass family members who personally ask them to stop contacting them. I have started filing these documents and calls are logged with entries to begin the process of stopping these bonus driven employees that treat you with disrespect and are motivated by greed and competition. Dateline NBC should begin the investigation and expose them too!

I have a loan with CashCall and they are the worst company ever. I don't receive their statement until the 30th or the 1st of the month. Yes I am aware I owe them money, yes I understand that I am still responsible for a bill even if I didn't receive the statement, however they start calling before 8am on the first of the month and don't stop calling until after 9pm. The statement says bill is due on the 1st but late by the 15, I always pay the bill each month and it is not late but it is still very annoying to have the phone ringing all the time. I can't even block the number because they call from a different number all the time, they have offices in CA, NV and now I believe UT. This is ridiculous. If there is a class action suit in NV against these people, I would like to be a part of it. I see most complaints are from CA but they have a call center here in NV and still do business here in NV last time I checked. Probably the worst financial mistake I ever made was dealing with this company.

I am being harassed by the representatives of Cash Call. I paid them as much money as I could two days ago, and now they are demanding that I pay more immediately. They refuse to wait until I get my next paycheck. They told me to beg my friends to loan me money- I told them that I did not ask for handouts. Then they told me to sell something valuable, and then buy it back, later. This tells me that they don't care how I get it, by hook or by crook, as long as they get their money. I sent them $200.00 two days ago, and now they want another $142.95 immediately. I told them that I don't have the funds available right now, but they won't accept that- they tell me that I'm not trying to pay back on my loan. I told them that I would make it my highest priority to pay them when I get my next paycheck, but they want me to pay them off and go hungry. I just sold my car two weeks ago, so that I could save on transportation- related expenses, and insurance, and they tell me that I'm not trying to pay them what I owe them.

I would love to be part of a class action law suit...I finally paid off this dreadful loan by asking a family member to help me out. I was told it was a 3 year loan yet after paying 298.00 for a year ina half my balance went from 2525.00 to nearly 2700.00. I never missed a payment I never get a statement and I was lucky to never get any dreadful calls, but I was about to just close my bank account...then I called them and said is there anyway to refinance this loan...their answer "we dont refianance" just rude. I feel they prey on the weak and get these carzy loans and now they do home loans at 3%...Maybe that has a darkside too but Just please if you need help or need money donate a kidney is less painful then dealing with this company...

This company is heartless. I called to get a one week extension for my payment. The girl insisted to know the reason why, I told her it was personal, after she kept saying thats not an answer, I finally told her my HUSBAND DIED, even after that she kept asking questions, well how did I make last months payment, why did I take out the loan, I was in tears on the phone, because emotionally I have not recovered from my husbands death. The next day I called because I wanted to change the auto draft to moneygram, again i was harrassed, i told the person my husband just died and i was harrassed yesterday and not going through this, they put a supervisor on LORENA WELCH, she kept sayng is the money going to be their, why do i want to do a moneygram, everytime i answered, she would come back with another sarcastic question. I kept telling them I think I have a personal right to chose how I pay, and they can't force me, as long as I pay by the commited date. On and on, finally I got the information to do money draft.
Again these people are HEARTLESS, very hard to deal with.
Record all calls, and tell them up front you are recording, use your cell phone, most have that option to record and put on speaker.

I've been paying a $300.00 a month on a $2500.00 loan and my balance is $2900.00.

DO NOT BORROW FROM THEM.
