I have enjoyed Carvel Flying Saucers for many years - I have one every evening after dinner during the warm weather, but today while eating a Flying Saucer I almost choked as there was a large piece of white rubber embedded in the vanilla ice cream! I ordered two children's ice cream cones it came up to $5.82. A couple days later I checked my bank account and carvel charged me $58.22; I contacted the store left a message for the manager no callback went in person later in the day the other stated the manager left early and there was my phone number on the counter written on a napkin. The employee there took his time to find the receipt and circle the transaction for the manager. I called back the next day to numerous excuses such as the manager comes in at noon, call at noon he's busy with a customer etc they where giving me the run around. I had to call numerous times to speak with him when I did speak with him he asked for me to text him my address so he can send me a check for amount owed to me due to the mistake made by the cashier. I figured it would take 5-7 business days. Its been almost 30 days and no check or even a follow up call from him. I attempted to reach out to him and no response. I think this is extremely unprofessional and it's bad customer service.

On 04/16/2017 I visited Carvel Ice Cream at 579 Middle Neck Road, Great Neck, New York 11023 with telephone [protected].

I asked for a medium cup with strawberry and nutela, and the server only gave me nutella, when I was consuming the ice cream I noticed that the strawberry was missing.
Then I proceed to ask the server that she missed the strawberry flavor, her response was very very rude: she said I only asked for nutlella, than proceed to tell me to pay attention to the way she was serving to see if she was missing any flavors.
Last time I will visit any Carvel store in the rest of my life, specially this store this server or owner should be fire by the way it responded alone, very bad business for Carvel.

Carvel on Post rd in Westport ct changed hands a ew years ago. They are rude in that store, and use Hershey's chocolate whenever they can. They put it on Fudgey the Whale cakes, in sundaes and sell it in containers if you want to by carvel fudge. they do not tell you it is hershey's... they pass it off as carvel fudge. i saw the Hershey's container out and questioned them and they denied it. It tastes just like Hershey's but if I wanted Hershey's i would buy Hershey's!

Yes Hello my name is Rachel. I live in Oakdale, New york. I am currently filing a complaint against Carvel in Sayville. My boyfriend Michael took me out to dinner at Cafe Joelle on Main Street in sayville ny and we decided to go get ice cream after at Carvel located on 25 Main street, sayville 11782. Michael noticed a Now Hiring sign outside and told me I should pick up an application there. Right now I am trying to support my mother and help her pay the bills, so i am trying to find a job. Me and Mike had a long day that afternoon and his eyes were red because he was tired.We both went it and signed the application. The manager told me he will call me. The following day i received a call from him telling me to come in for an application. My brother drove me there and stayed on the side. As i entered the entrance, the manager pulled me outside and asked me a couple of questions if i had any experience or not. I told him the deal. Then he questions me saying " was that your boyfriend? I know he was stoned. He is a pothead." That remark made me very upset. So he sent me back in carvel to fill out the schedule of when i can do my days. Another girl was waiting inside and he pulled her outside as well. At the time, the manager didn't know my brother was there waiting and overhead the manager talking about me saying "this girls not going to get hired. She probably smokes weed as well. I am not going to hire her!" My brother overheard him saying that. I am very upset because I did not get this job because some man wanted to be judgmental. How dare a MANAGER of a store even say that about his customers. Please contact them and tell them about my complaint.
