Subject: Problem in Air-Conditioner since its Purchase (Product is still under Warranty)
I would like to bring to your kind notice that, I have purchased an Optima IDRQR Carrier Aircon Air-Conditioner from S.R. Electronics, 60/4, Yusaf Sarai Main Market, Opp. Gurudwara, New Delhi-110016 against Invoice No: 8120 dated 14-07-2004 having Chasis No: 0007235, Product Serial No: [protected].
Since, the purchase of the product, I have been facing problem with it. I have launched a complaint to your service centre dated 20-04-2004 regarding its cooling problem for which your engineer Mr. Deepak has came and clean out the Air-conditioner Filters and told us that now it will work properly and will cool properly. Next Season, after that we have been told by your service engineer that there is problem with the Air-conditioner compressor and has to be repaired/ replaced, which has also been done by your service engineers.
Now again this season, when we tried to use the Air-conditioner, we are again facing the same cooling problem. Now when we contacted your service engineer, he told us that the cooling gas has been leaked out of the compressor and hence new cooling gas has to be filled in it. The filling of new cooling gas will cost us Rs. 3000/-, which can be reduce to half Rs. 1500/- as we faced the problem in the warranty period.
When we asked him for what reason the cooling gas has been leaked from the compressor pipe then he does not give us a satisfactory reply and told us that at times it leaks for one or the other reasons. Sir, I would also like to know that how come the cooling gas can be leaked out from the compressor pipe on its own. Its seems that there is some defect with the product (may be manufacturing defect, since purchase of the product), then why should I pay for it. We are purchasing the Branded products just because of its good repute and good services, by paying good value of it. And if we have to face the same problems as of a local product, then what’s the use of paying a good value of a Branded product.
Sir, I would like to ask you if the Branded companies will provide it products to its customers with such a problematic way, then how long can the company can hold its customer in current Competitive market, where in today’s scenario products are just recognized by consumers by its Error free working and its good after sale services.
I would humbly request you to kindly get my problem sorted out on priority basis, as I could not use the product properly, even just in one season, since I have bought it.
