Carrefour carrefour brand crunchy muesli cereal

A sharp and hard peice of black plastic was found inside the sealed bag of Muesli cereal. This sharp peice of plastic was found mixed in with the cereal itself, and is obviously a very serious danger if it was chewed up and swallowed. The plastic piece itseld is triangular and about 2cm at each side. I'm posting this complaint because this peice of machinery or whatever it was that broke off and landed in my cereal could have caused a serious injury. I have very little confidence in Carrefour band products now, as well as Carrefour in general.

Carrefour missing parts

Today I had the worst shopping experience ever! I have purchased today a skooter from your branch in maesem centre.. The packaging was broken but the staff told me that its just the packaging but the item is intact but when I reached home I openeded it to my surprise I found three parts missing! And then I noticed a yellow label on the pack mentioned missing parts! I went back to carreefour and told them and they returned it and asked me to take another one! I purchased another skooter and when I went back home I found one screw missing! I am so angry and upset and this experience will make me stop purchasing from your place as I cant trust you anymore! I demand someone comes to my home and replace the missing parts!

Carrefour food

I bought a raisen from carrefour today for my children, i got shocked to see worms inside and got totally upset about the quality..i have never thought carrefour food safety and quality will be this bad.

I bought this from biyun branch pudong shanghai carrefour. I m so scared about the quality and food safety now.

As you don't have a choice to click complain China I have opted USA. Kindly redirect to China complaints

I hope the action will take immediate.

Carrefour frozen food

This has so far been one of the most unpleasant experiences in carrefour for our grocery shopping. I decided to buy a couple packs of frozen chicken as they were priced very reasonably, only to reach the counter to discover that the check-out price was different from the mentioned price. I had to go back and choose another brand only to find out at the counter line that the check-out price was again different from the one mentioned. We could not afford to go back to the section to choose another brand, waste our time standing in the queue and check-out again, so we ended up buying a pack BEYOND our budget.

We spoke to the Manager who informed us that the price mentioned on the tag is for ONE KG of chicken, whereas the product is packaged for TWO KGS. Please note that there was NO one Kg of product available. ALL products were TWO KGS.

Products' tag prices must be in-line with the packaged product. Are customers expected to scrutinize the price tags so deeply before buying a single product? This is highly inconsiderate and morally wrong to waste the time of customers by pricing in this manner. I believe price tags must be accurate i.e the Price mentioned must be for the SAME AMOUNT of product that is packaged and placed on the shelves.

I believe you will consider and look into this matter.

Carrefour discontinuation of coke light (diet coke)

My Carrefour behind my home (Taiwan) has "always, always" stocked COKE LIGHT (Diet coke). I cannot have sugar and bought it regularly for 15 years at your store and this is because you cannot buy COKE LIGHT in Taiwan "anywhere else", only Carrefour. Also, I cannot drink coke Zero as it has an ingredient that causes me headaches.
Your store behind my home here in Taipei City (Gulin Store), has now discontinued COKE LIGHT and I do not understand why? Whenever I went, I had to buy many at one time (sometimes 12 at a time) because as soon as your store stocked the shelves, the COKE LIGHTS were gone quickly. Also, I have no idea why they stopped as there are "no other diet cola options in Taiwan" at all. For now, all there is Coke Zero to choose from. And so, if you don't drink Coke Zero in Taiwan now and want a diet cola, there are "0" options !

Put COKE LIGHT (Diet Coke) BACK ON YOUR SHELVES!

Carrefour over charging of rs. 1,499.00 by staff named afaq

•Yesterday on 27th of December 2018, I shopped a number of Grocery items from Carrefour Supermarket, Hyperstar Dolmen Mall Karachi.
•I was Served by "AFAQ". When I came home and tallied my Bill with items I bought, I found that I have been over charged @ Rs. 1, 499.00 for "FRUIT & VEGETABLE" (weight or quanitity not mentioned).
• I knew, I hadn't purchased any fruit or vegetable etc because I had got that a day before.
• I request your good self/selves to please warned that guy (AFAQ) to be careful and abstain from theft, I would say.

Carrefour super delayed delivery

I have placed an order on carefoure webstore dec 6, I purchased toys as christmas gifts and bought them ahead of time to avoid hassle with the delivery since I know couriers and and online store are very busy during christmas week.. I've been calling carefoure for follow up when they didnt deliver the goods in the time frame given (2-4 business days). No calls and update given unless you follow up from them. I called today again (dec 17) and the agent told me that they have forwarded the shipment to the courier but when I tried calling the courier, no shipment was placed under my account.. So people if you want to save yourself from hassle, stress, frustrations and probably heart attack, do not buy from carefoure webstore.. Worst online store ever!

Carrefour unethical behaviour (cashier)

Time: 12: 40 - 13:20
Location: Carrefour IBIS hotel branch (Al-Barsha 1 - Closer to Mall of Emirates), Dubai.
Complaint Against: Cashier (Name: Magdy) (see attached photo).
Description:
- Today 14 Dec 2018, at 12: 40 I was in the Carrefour branch (IBIS Hotel, Al-Barsha 1) for normal shopping, whenever I completed collecting my selected items, I set my self on the que against working cashier waiting my turn with two customer before me and.
- Second Cashier (His name is Magdy) he be on second cashier slot and one customer came from shopping area and he dealt with him directly without considering the my waiting on the que.
- The cashier (Magdy) after finished with the said customer he dealt with another customer came behind me for the second time to neglect my turn.
- I noticed him whatever he did as skip me for two times, so, he raised unnecessary augment and did not response to me after I clarified him the unfair act he did.

I left the place with disappointment toward the cashier misbehavior with unfair feeling.

From the above, the cashier (Magdy) he did the following mistakes:
- Did not proceed as fair process to deal with customers as cashier.
- Raised argument to defined with invalid talk.
- Did not pay respect to customer whenever talking to him.
- He shown careless regarding whatever happened.
- His unethical behavior address his non suitability for direct deal with customers.
- His attitude unacceptable and below standard could carrefour maintain.

Appreciate to take the proper action toward this incident and wish to meet professional & friendly staff in this branch as usual as I am living closer to that branch.

Carrefour repair

I bought american tourister luggage about 6 months ago. There is a problem in the lock. Unable or stuck when u try to manage a code.Sent it for repair in dalma mall branch. They texted me that toblem is resolve the item is ready for collection last nov 27, 2018. I took the item later, dec 10 2018. When the personnel handed me the item i saw scratch on the upper part of the bag. Itold him why there is scratch in my bag?he said its already there before. i informed him its not there when i sent it for repair but he insist its already there. I told him Even the receipt no note that there is scratch or damage before i handed it for repair. Still he INSIST is already there. I TOLD him i know my bag before i gave it.then checking the main issue, the lock, it happened that the issue is the same the lock tend to stuck in-short its not resolve. He was trying to convice me its ok but i said ofcourse TOTALLY NOT RIGHT and told me that give me 5 minutes and ill change the lock. I ask him why in the first place for several weeks the lock is not change or fixed and sending the customer an sms that the problem is resolved. And waited for approximately 15-20 mins. Feel frustrated.

Carrefour carrefour market

Hello,

I want to make a complain for the Carrefour market located in Romania, Bucharest, Str. Ziduri Mosi, Nr. 23, ZIP 021203.

I have waited 15 minutes to weight one kilogram of oranges because there are just 2 weighing scales available and one employee is handle them.

You are waiting too much for a simple task!
There should be more automated weighing scales like all the modern supermarkets have.

Carrefour i'm complaining about the poor n bad service of the staff in your jeddah sulaymaniyah outlet.

Dear Sir/Madam, I'm proud to say that I am one of your loyal customer for I had been shopping at this outlet of yours for 7 years as I'am one the expatriate who worked in Jeddah n I lived in Jeddah in the district of Sulaymaniyah.Therefore it is only understandable that i shopped in this outlet of yours almost everyday.But over the years it's sad to say that I'd noticed that the services provided here by the staff is not improving but infact declining.The staff seems to have an attitude problem as they somehow appears unaware of the importance of customer service.Considering your establishment being in the retail business where your competitors are abundant the only 2 points that is important for you to stay in the competition is price n customer service.But somehow I think the problem does'nt only comes from the ground level but also from the incompetent manageral staff that is from the supervisors topwards.I almost never once see any of the management staff going round checking on the staff n customer service especially in the electronics section.I once wanted to inquire about 1 of the mobile phone product but I n my wife had to wait for half an hour before we are finally being served unreluctantly by one of the staff.N things like this happens many times.I think that it is crucial for you people at the head office of Carrefour to send inspectors to this or other outlet of yours in Saudi Arabia as your fine reputation as one of an international establishment is at stake.Thank you for your immediate attention.

Carrefour racist store

We are an American family living in England and were visiting Romania. We stopped by yesterday evening at a Carrefour in Piatra Neamț for some wine and snacks and were followed by 2 members of staff the entire time. We couldn't move 2 feet without them being in the way and were followed constantly throughout the store. The front security guard even scared our 3 year old child and made our 7 year old very uncomfortable. There was no reason for them to be xenophobic against us, especially as we were spending money each day. We will now be taking our custom elsewhere since they allow their employees to discriminate against foreigners.

Carrefour rude attitude from supervisor and cashier

Evening time, around 7pm was purchasing some items! On the cash while was scanning proses one item was wrong priced. The cashier Mohamed was informing that the price is different from displaying. He sent his helper to check the display price and when he come back also confirmed that price is 10aed not 15aed. It was a set of 6ps of water plus 6ps of Pepsi! After came assistant of supervisor . Trying to solved problems but cannot and push up me to pay for it 15aed.
I know that price is for responsible of staff for shop.
At the end both of them assistant and cashier were rude and refused my rights!
If u don't take any actions abt them I will continue to complaining another departments!

Carrefour life threatening food product

Dear sir..
I bought a canned beef that has been damaged and open. Yet it displayed for sale at a discounted price. I bought from Amman Jordan. Not noticing the dammage because it was rapped up with plastic tape. I took it and attempted to open it for my family to eat when I discovered it has been dameged and exposed to air. Which made it rotten and full of warms. This is unsafe business practice that endangers people lives. And Putting dammaed and contaminated food prduct for sale at discounted price is violation of food and drug administration laws. I am submitting a complaint to department of commerce in Jordan for unsafe and unlawful violation.

Carrefour not allowing you to exit past tills with nothing bought, causes language confusion

In the Hospitalet de Llobregat district of Barcelona, Carrefour has a big shop on 2 floors of a big mall. it opens onto the mall on both floors. One floor is all household goods, the other is food.
Invisibly until it happens to you, there is a rule that you are not allowed to leave the shop through the tills if you have not bought anything. Why? I have not seen other shops in Western Europe operate any such rule.
The reason why I had not bought anything was because I had entered the household goods floor without realising it was wholly that, and being on holiday I was in no position to buy household goods. I was there for food, and did buy some after finding the correct floor. So I was not in the end a person intending to buy nothing. In fact in the attempt to leave through the tills I got informed by another customer that there was a connection between the floors, at the back of the shop where I had not found it. This not being signposted either.
A rule against leaving the shop through the tills without anything bought creates a situation where speech is necessary. Hence for folks on holiday it can create a language embarrassment, impractical for the shop and alarming for a foreign customer who does not understand what is suddenly happening and being asked of them. As food shopping can be done by visual gestures without speaking, a language embarrassment is totally unnecessary to cause to happen, and is not what the customer is prepared for, the customer who goes there for food shopping expects that it can all be done without speech.

Carrefour after sale service

I bought dish washer on September 28, 2018
The after sales inform me that I get gift which is electrical kettle and hair dyer.

Since that date until now I try to contact the administrator and I raise two complain without any response.

Finally, last week I went to carrfour and I asked them about the gift and they inform me that they are still waiting the gift from the supplier!
So why they promise me that I can took the gift any time after receiving the dish washer.

Any way I keep contact them and finally one of the after sale member call me and inform me that the gift is ready but the gift is not as we agreed he told me the gift is clothes iron!

I reject the gift and I informed him that it wasn't our agreement, he reply to me no this what you agreed and this what registered.

So I send him the invoice which clearly showing that the gift is (kettle and hair dryer)

So he said ok I will check and until now no any response until now.

Second issue all of carrffeour market they have review option on Facebook page except Jordan market, I believe that they already now about their service quality that's why they cancelled it.

Carrefour online shop

Hi, I've ordered online goods with Carrefour UAE. Despite the delivery has been delayed, I've been not received all the goods I've paid on their Webshop. I've send them an email without any reaction. Customer Service number is not working (a message is keep repeating to press the bottom #2 for english...)

Carrefour fake gift promo

The sign said that If I purchased unilever products for more than IDR 75000 I could get a free stuff from ponds/close up. When hI arrived at the register, the lady said tha the item was empty so I went to the information. I had to wait for 35 minutes for nothing, got no explanation, got no stuffs, all the staffs kept giving me floating answers. Terrible service and fake promotion. Asked for a manager and nobody came.

Carrefour electronic

I was in the counter 83 and there is a lot of customer and I ask supperviser to open counter he said system not working in dcc Dubai and I know he is lier I said to him to call duty manager after long time he come he said there is no duty manager and manager
Please if u don't have atuff to open counter close better for you

Carrefour warranty for mobile phone and behaviour of customer care, & store manager of ajman city centre u.a. e.

Dear Sir,
I have bought Mobile from Carrefour Ajman, with extended warrantee for one more year on 29-10-2018. But unfortunately, the mobile has net work problem in June 2018, and I have given to Customer Service Ajman City Centre on 30-06-2018. They have returned the phone to me on 10-07-18, I have checked with the sales representative to check the mobile, as he has checked and told me that the pc has returned as it is and it was not repaired. I have returned immediately to customer care to send it back for repair, they have sent again for service.
On 14th August I have received a call from Ajman CC Carrefour to collect the mobile, they have given me other model of mobile which was white color (mine was dark grey) and full of scratch on body (used mobile) which I told I do not want this and returned immediately. The person sitting in Customer care was Mr. Atiq, he told me he will refund the money. I have visited him on 19th August with original bill, he told me his manager is on vacation, come immediately after Eid, I have agreed for that and again visited on 23rd August Thursday, he told me she will back on 28th August, accordingly I visited on day again same answer and told me to come on 9th September 2018, he has agreed to give me call once Ms. Rica (his manager) joins the duty. But he told me about refund I have proof for that if required I can show you.
Ms. Rica (Customer care Carrefour) called me on 14-09-18 Friday morning and asked me to come. I went there that time she was given me rude answer that, your mobile has come you can take this, we cannot refund money. I told her this is nearly 90 days, but in your invoice clearly written that after 30 days refund will be given. She was very rude and adamant in her word. I told her that your colleague had agreed for refund and accordingly I have bought new mobile, but she was giving me the same answer. I though better not to argue, taken the receipt back and not collected the mobile.
In Service Request clearly written that -‘During the warrantee period, if the product is immobilized more than 30 Days, Carrefour will establish a voucher corresponding to the price paid by the customer the day of purchase.
Date of purchase of this set was 29-10-2017 (Less than 1 year) and also I have taken the extended warrantee for that. I have trust with Carrefour, any product buying from Carrefour I am always taking extended warrantee . You check with my customer details with Carrefour, and also I am the regular purchaser of Carrefour Ajman, Sharjah, Mirdiff and Madina Mall.
This time I am really very upset about this incident, also note that I have already complained about this incident when they were making me to wait and not giving proper answer in August month. This is my first claim and I am so upset that the customer care is treating customer in very bad manner. Its like I am begging for my own money. The time taken for repair was nearly 90 Days.
Then I have called Customer care toll free number of U.A.E. Ms. Fathima from Carrefore customer care U.A.E. spoken to me and explained me about the procedures of Carrefour about warrantee claim. First of all thanks for her giving correct explanation and patience, which I have not seen in Customer care Ajman.
Regarding my claim I have explained her about the incident, she was telling Carrefour will solve the issues with in 30 days. I too agree with this, but in my case I have given phone first time on 30-06-18 and they have returned me without repair on 10-07-18, I have checked same time with mobile counter technician and returned same day with in 1 hour returned to customer care, they have taken and 2nd time they have returned me on 14-08-18 with White colour mobile (mine was Dark Grey) with full of scratches on body. You can check they have taken here more than 30 days (35 days), and still not able to repair my mobile.
As a policy if it is not repairable with in 30 days Carrefour guarantees for the refund. The same thing was told to Ms. Fathima, she told she will forward the enquiry internally, but she cannot disclose to me about the internal enquiry. I am okay with that, but I have not received any feedback about this as more than one week is passed.

Again I have received call from Ajman City Centre Carrefour that they have repaired my old mobile and asked me to collect from there. Accordingly I have collected on 26-10-2018, but color was same, the condition was used and model is other model. I really upset with this type of attitude of customer service of Ajman City Centre. Today again I have visited Customer care of Ajman CC and shown the details of phone to Customer care rep. of Atiq, he was not responding, then I have asked him to call manager or any responsible person, i need to talk to them. He has called some person with blue shirt, he told me that he is the manager, (Really not looks like manager) I have explained him the situation from the beginning, He acted like hearing everything and he told me once you accepted the phone, Khallas, nothing, we cannot do anything. I have told him still phone is under warrantee, but he was telling me again and again no sorry we cannot do anything. I have asked his name he told me Mr. Ahmed, you can check whether he is manager or no. Manager should be cool and calm with customer as all retail chain will treat customer is a king. Person was tall and with curly hair.
Really I fed up with the situation, I think I am wasting my time, Carrefour staffs are playing with me, neither I want the replacement nor I need cash back. But make sure that it is spoiling the reputation of your store, as now a days everybody is giving tough competition.
Customer service of EMAX, Lulu and Nesto are far far better than you. Even online Souq.com is giving better service than you. As I have bought new Samsung phone from Souq, where as the screen was damaged due to my mishandling, they have replaced the screen with 7 days with the additional cost of AED.100/- I was very happy with their service. But the service which I have received from Carrefour was unforgettable, waste of time and I never buy valuable/ warrantee items from Carrefour.
You can check, prior to this incident I used to buy most of the items for my own use and company use buy only from Carrefour, but after this incident, I have totally changed the purchase of items from Carrefour to Emax, Sharaf DG, Lulu and Nesto. You check in your system by using my mobile and myclub card. I am totally disappointed with your service.
Now I am not asking anything about my mobile, but please transfer this email to some responsible person who can improve the service. The things happened to me should not happened to any others. I had a very good opinion about Carrefour and also I was thinking that Carrefour is an international chain, will provide better service and we can trust, but now everything were not up to the level, this is due to the quality and lack of training to staffs.
I used to buy on an average of AED.3000/- per month and I is to visit weekly 3 to 4 times to Carrefour Ajman, but now hardly once in a week.
