Carrabba's Italian Grill very bad food

On my 11/7 Business Trip I stopped for Dinner at the Washington Dulles Airport Carrabba's Italian Grill. The food that I ordered was very bad. To start with the Chicken Parmesan was very Burnt tasting and the Pasta was mushy and very cold. After consuming some of the meal and waiting 10 minutes for waitstaff to return so I could send back the food I was running out of time to catch my flight so I simply asked for a different side item (Tomato and cucumber salad) which was brought out but was equally tasteless. I would like to get a voucher for a nice meal at my local Carrabba's Italian Grill which I know to serve better food.

Carrabba's Italian Grill service

I would like to share my experience while having my marriage anniversary dinner we are a gay couple in which we decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary alone at your establishment and what we had contoured was horrible.
We were sat down on table #65 by your server name: (Estera. K) on 10/27/2019 around 6:41 pm that she checked us out
That night everything was going as plan until (Estera. K) Identified herself that will be our server. While that night it was nice and quiet and we saw the (right) side of the restaurant with some (white Caucasian people) and still with other tables available she looked at us up and down and sat us down at the left side of the restaurant which made us a bit uncomfortable but I didn't want to make a scene so we just ignored the situation.
Minutes later she came to take our order and seem very inpatient to get our order and get rid of us, now while placing my order, we ordered (two) chicken trio combo and (one) margarita sauza gold. When she arrived, she came with (one) chicken trio combo and a (pollo rosa maria) I immediately told her this not what I ordered and she kept debating that was what I ordered and I wish the same dish as my husband I would have to wait like 30-35 minutes and my husband was already eating. I was disgusted with her service and her attitude and how she segregated us from other people at the restaurant.
I was discussing this with my husband and attorney in how your staff had segregated us from others like a dog because our sexuality, which we might have a case/law sue against Carrabbas's Italian Grill and let the social media how sickening this looks so these types of behaviors have to stop once and for all. I was also disgusted when the server would talk to the two other females and laugh and look back at us to our table it was horrible
If you ask me I felt denigrated, segregated from others and heartbroken that we still have to live like this and feel discriminated because we are gay. Thank god my husband knows how I could be when it comes to me defending other rights and obviously I kept my piece and left.
I'm a Case Manager and do know my rights that why I have contacted my attorney on this matter to find a solution.

Carrabba's Italian Grill food

My wife and I dined in at carrabba's in palm harbor this past weekend and our food tasted horrible and was really chewy. We eat at your restaurant all the time and this experience was a real disappointment. I did not want to complain, but we spend alot of money at your restaurant and would like your company to make this right. We want to keep going, but it is hard paying for a bad meal. Thank you Pete

Carrabba's Italian Grill the manager miguel

I'm A Favor Delivery And I've Pick up food for a couple of my Costumers and their orders weren't correct and I've spoke to Miguel both times the first time when I went back he said he knew it was right because he put the order together the Costumer spent over a 100$ and he ask me to get him 5 breads and he told me he couldn't give that much bread didn't Understand why and last nite my Costumer didn't get all of her for so I tried calling and didn't get a answer so I drove back there again and he told me I should've call and I try calling and I didn't get a answer so I went back there he told me that they was closed and he Couldn't do anything tonight I told him this was the 2 time I've had to come back and get my Costumer food he got pissed and told me it was rude off me I asked what was rude of me he said he didn't have to talk to me be cause they were closed and I'm a 3 Party and I should check the order I told him the cook and the server should make sure Everything is in the bag I don't like to dig in there bags I Always asked them to make sure Everything is in the bag they tell me it's all there and then he tell me the other manager was off and those girls aren't properly train right and he was going to speak to him about them I think he needs to take a class his self apparently he's not doing his job neither he has a attitude problem..Thank You Ms. Rhonda James [protected]

Carrabba's Italian Grill curbside pickup order

I purchased two grilled chicken salads and picked them up curbside. When I got home I realized they had given me what appeared to be two small salads with a little chicken in two other containers. I called Carrabba's and spoke the manager (I believe Brittany) who told me she had packed the bag and that is the correct amount of salad. I told her we have ordered this before and it should be much more but once again she assured me this is the correct amount. There is no way these tiny salads add up to $14.99 each! I spent $34 (including a tea) and even have a $3.00 tip (total $37.00)! I am very disappointed and will not be eating at Carrabba's in the future. What a waste of MY money!

Carrabba's Italian Grill unprofessional behavior from manager

I dined in at you restaurant on 10/21/19. The manager brought my entree to my table before the appetizer and when approached by the server he dismissed him and placed my food on the table anyway. He did not speak or anything. I asked my server to bring my appetizer and to bring my entree back later. When he brought it back it was cold and nasty. The experience was terrible. I would like a refund.

Carrabba's Italian Grill email offer for lunch

I received an unsolicited email approximately on october 14th offering a free lunch with purchase of one lunch. I invited a friend for lunch on oct. 16th and went to my local carrabbus on us 19 in port richey at noon. Upon arrival the door was locked and the times listed on front door stated not open until 3pm. We decided to run some errands and come back. Returning approx 2:15 pm I called the restaurant to confirm they would accept my emailed offer. I was told they would not, as they do not serve lunch and had no lunch menu. I asked if we could use this offer on the dinner menu at 3pm and was told no. I do not understand how they could have no lunch menu when they advertise lunch on weekend days. I was offered no solution by the woman on the phone other then to go to another carrabbus restaurant. None which are nearby. Not only was this frustrating for me, but embarrassing as well, as I had to offer my friend lunch at another local restaurant and paid more than I had anticipated. I am retired and on a fixed income. I feel they should have honored the offer and let us order off the lunch menu used on the weekends.

Carrabba's Italian Grill unethical behavior from the manager

On August 25, 2019, my family, hundred and daughter, went in for dinner around 5:30 pm. We were promptly seating. Restaurant was busy. Looked like an old folks convention. Our waiter can]me and we ordered drinks and our food at the same time as we were very hungry and hadn't eaten lunch. Our drinks were served. Waiter came back with the bread. My daughter ate the bread as soon as it was put down. Then the waiter came back and put a menu in my daughters face and said pick something else.
We came Especially for her as she was having a celebration. She picked a Carrabbas so that was it.
Waiter said we don't have pizza. We asked for the manager. She said"we can't serve quality pizza so we aren't making it". We cancelled our order and was told we didn't have to pay for the drinks and bread.
It's on the menu. This also happened in Port St Lucie where their manager said the pizza oven has been broken for months and they have no idea when it will be fixed.
We have eaten here many times over the past 12 years but no more.

I gave my name because I would like to know if my reasoning is wrong. Please respond. Thank you.
First I would like to make it clear I am a frequent customer at your restaurant either dining in, delivery or using curbside.
I have ordered the rib steak many times and never had a complaint. It was always very tender, juicy and cooked to perfection.
On 8/4/2019 I dined in and ordered a ribeye medium well. The steak was presented several minutes later over cooked. It was well done. I asked if I could get another one and the manager agreed to another one. The second steak was cooked exactly the way it should have been but it was as tough as leather and it was very thick. Again I called the manager to look at the steak and he himself said it was apparently a bad cut of meat. He then stated he would have a filet cooked. I reluctantly agreed because I was hungry. The steak was cooked medium well and was tender. Because this was not the steak I wanted I did not enjoy my meal at all.
I had a 20% coupon for my meal. The manager would not allow me to pay the price of the ribeye but charged me the price of the filet mignon. He felt since I had the coupon I was already getting a discount for it.
The difference in the price was only a dollar and change but I feel it was the principle of the situation. I should have paid the price for the ribeye. It was not my fault the first steak was over cooked and the second one was too tough.
I wish I had just left the restaurant after the second steak was not edible to me because of how tough it was. I ended up getting a to go tray for my food and left. Ate elsewhere.
3/4 of that mignon is still in my refrigerator today 8/7/2019. Don't want to throw my money in the trash.
I paid for bad service and for a steak I didn't enjoy.
Hope my next visit is not a repeat.

Carrabba's Italian Grill service and food

I took my wife to the Columbus GA location this past Saturday night for her birthday.

She ordered a 9 oz sirloin cooked medium well. The steak arrived at the table blood rare. We had it sent back to the kitchen. It arrived at the table a second time still blood red and was cut into pieces. I had it sent back to the kitchen a second time and asked for a new steak since this one was cut into pieces. The third steak arrived blood rare the the vegetables were raw. My wife and and I then left the restaurant.

Carrabba's Italian Grill incident and how it was handled

My sons took me to Carrabba's on Mother's Day. Got there about 1:15pm. Wasn't that busy we were the only party of 8 waiting to be seated. We were told it would be an hour to an hour an a half or less wait. After waiting for almost 2 hours a party of 10 came in waited about 10 minutes and was seated before we were. I was very upset that they took that party before us after waiting for almost 2 hours. When we were seated the table I was sitting at had a nail that was sticking out from rim under the table. How do I know this because I proceeded to put my napkin on my lap when I cut my hand and it started bleeding. My husband asked to speak to the manager. When the manager came my husband told what happened and I showed him He brought me an alcohol wipe and two band aids. One for my hand and one for me to put over the nail. He told me and my husband that there was no way he knew that nail was there. My husband and I were very very disappointed the way the manager had handled the whole situation. Carrabba's is my favorite restaurant but after this incident and the way we were treat I don't know

Carrabba's Italian Grill pasta with shrimp & scallops

Went to Carrabas in Coral Springs Fl. Had the worst meal, When my entre came out, there was no sauce on it maybe a tsp full, the pasta was entirely dry & stuck together, I asked the waitress for more sauce, after waiting 15 min. she came back to tell me they were out of sauce! I never heard of such a thing in an Italian restaurant!? Then the waitress said they will make more sauce, but by the time I waited my pasta was cold & really stuck. I told her I did not want the meal anymore. She did offer me an alternative, but I was really turned off by then. (Ps. Never did bring me sauce). I visited this restaurant a few times, never had this problem? I hope you can tell them to always have sauce on hand! Thankyou Fontaine Schiavone. Please reply. At. [protected]@comcast.net

Carrabba's Italian Grill food

Went to the restaurant in Pasadena maryland for my girlfriends first time there/ birthday dinner and it was absolutely ruined. For starters hostess was absolutely rude beacuse we asked for a booth due to having a child with us second ordered our food the classico with chicken parm lasagna and a side had to send the fries back them being so greasy it was pouring put of the inside of the fries no problem it happens go to eat the chicken parm floatimg in grease again lasagna was completly rubbery and burnt on the bottom lile it had been microwavedanager appologised and took ot back we decided to gove it another chance beings we were there hungry and it was what she wanted for her birthday dinner ordered the margaritta pizza and again bottom wss burnt and the dough on top was so raw it was inedible. At that point she was in tears this is absolutel a slap in the face beacuse i suggested this place to her over olive garden I have been to the one in frederick maryland and the one in my home state of Kentucky and had nothing but great and excellent results this location is a nightmare something needs to be done. We ended up coming home eating frozen pizza

Carrabba's Italian Grill staff

Absolutely appalled at what just happened to my husband and I at the Carrabba's on Geyser Dr in Colorado Springs. We eat at this location A LOT, and recently, they hired a woman (Kelly) that both my husband and I worked with in the past. We have always had problems with her and she has always caused problems for us. We always ask to not be seated in her section simply because we don't trust Kelly at all. Tonight while we were eating, Kelly stood about 20 feet away from us with two other females, pointed at us and all three were laughing, staring at us. We asked for a manager, (not to have anything taken off of our bill or to get Kelly fired), but to simply point out that Kelly was being blatantly rude and making us feel uncomfortable, and what we got was a joke. Lauren the "owner" came to our table and when we brought the issue up, she literally said, "Everyone in here knows you two and I eat at the restaurant you both used to work at, and everyone talks badly about you. You bring the drama into the restaurant when you come here." We were shocked. So my husband asked "So you're okay with having a staff member who continuously causes problems and drama for your customers making them feel insulted and extremely uncomfortable?" to which she replied "Yes". Long story short, we were openly insulted, ridiculed, and made to feel very uncomfortable. The "owner" Lauren, literally blamed us for her staff member (Kelly) being openly rude and honestly mean to us and also told us that she hangs out with people who talk badly about us and that its our fault Kelly is consistently rude. She said she wont be doing anything to solve the situation, and if we weren't okay with it, that was "our choice". We are still shocked at what just happened. We definitely will not EVER return to this location. Neither one of us has ever been so insulted before. We WILL be contacting any and all "hire-up" authority to tell them what happened.

Carrabba's Italian Grill manager john carrico

I called Carrabbas (01•24•19) to let the manager, John Carrico, know that I plan to come in but there's a possibility that I may not make it due to car trouble. I told him what was going on and he said to get my shift covered, Uber or to get a friend to take me to work. I said, "Ok but if I'm not able to get anyone and if time doesn't permit with getting my car issue taken care of, I won't be able to make it." He said, "No, I'm telling you that it's unacceptable." I explained that I understand but my initial statement still remains.

I called back about an hour and a half later (around 2:30pm), letting him know that I wouldn't make it for sure because I was told I had to be with my car when the tow truck arrives and that they hadn't begun the process so time wouldn't permit. I told him that everyone that was asked to cover my shift was not available. It was explained to him that I was at work in Southaven, MS so it'll be a stretch to try making it to work in Collierville by 5pm.

John Carrico accused me of lying. He said that he knew I would call back an hour later saying I wasn't going to make it. He said, "You knew you weren't gonna come when you called the first time." I said thank you since you think I'm lying, prompting to end the call. He said because you are lying. He went on to say, "Get here, get someone to cover your shift or you no longer work here." I said, "thank you and have a good day." FYI, I've never called in before. I recorded our second call as evidence, considering how the first call ended.

Since John Carrico has been getting away with his rude, inconvenient and inconsiderate behavior, employees complain about him but continues to accept his behiavior because they do not want to get fired. I would like for the company to get feedback from their employees about how John Carrico operates. If most reviews are not good, it would be great for him to be demoted or terminated. I am 1000 percent sure the reviews/feedback will be horrifying and not live up to Carrabba's values and morals.

Carrabba's Italian Grill quality of food

On1/15/19. I picked up a takeaway order of 2 lasagna dinners for me and my husband who is currently in a nursing home it was a little celebration. When I unpacked all the food I realized they looked very different and I wasn't sure one of them was indeed lasagna it was dried out the pasta was a brownish color and I was not able to eat more than about one quarter of the very center Very disappointing.

Carrabba's Italian Grill Food and ran out of bread!

On 12/30/18 My husband and I visited our local Carrabbs's wich we frequented every Sunday for 3years never missed a Sunday.We actually got to know the staff pretty well. When my father in law passed away we stopped eating at carrabba's every Sunday. So we were craving it so we went. Arriving we were never told that the restaurant ran out of bread which is one of the main reasons of going. Then we had to wait 20 minutes for two glasses of water and so we ordered an appetizer with tomatoes and bread well it came out but no bread! Are you kidding me the waitress couldn't tell us?Then I ordered the polo Rosa Maria and the side was supposed to be spaghetti with meat sauce well the chicken was very small and they took a meatball and cut in fours and called it meat sauce! Terrible! I'm so upset at the quality and quantity! And all we got was sorry it happens. Unacceptable!

Carrabba's Italian Grill left sunglasses on table

On Nov. 26 th, after having dinner, I left a pair of expensive sunglasses on the table. I didn't realize it until morning and went back as soon as the doors opened. I didn't expect a problem because the waitress would have gotten them as soon as she returned to the table for the check. She also had my name and credit card information and could have put my name on them knowing I would be back. When I went in, the young man who took care of me told me he saw a pair on the wall next to the podium because he too was working. He then went to ask the manager thinking they may have been put in his office. He came back to tell me they were looking. The manager never came out so the young man went back to the office. Needless to say they were not there. I felt the whole situation was handled very poorly and the manager didn't have the decency to come out and address me himself. I could understand if I didn't come back for several days, but it was less than 24 hours. I paid $300.00 for these glasses and very upset that someone helped themselves to them. My waitress was Alyssa and a male manager. I feel they were taken by someone on their staff! They were a name brand that would have easily been recognized as expensive and that's why I don't have them! I left my name and phone number asking for the manager to talk to the waitress and call me this evening. I have yet to receive a call nor do I expect to. I'm very, very upset about how this was handled especially since I go to carrabba's often. I will never go back! I realize to you they were just sunglasses but to me they are a necessity for my sensitive eyes!

This is now December 12th and my complaint has been noted as resolved! I really don’t know how that could be since I have heard from no one! No one has answered my email or called me! I am furious as to how my complaint has been answered and I will be writing to whoever will listen to me!

Today is December 11th and it’s been 15 days since my original complaint. On November 26th I left my $300.00, Maui Jim sunglasses on the table. I went back to Carrabba’s on Wednesday, November 28th for the second time to check if they were found. That is when the manager called our waitress and she confirmed that she brought them to the hostess station. The restaurant was empty which leads me to believe they were stolen by an employee. I am part of your rewards program and they had my name and phone number which they could have used to contact me. I feel that Carrabba’s never attempted to follow protocol with an expensive item. As a result of their negligence, they were stolen. Because of their cost the theft is a felony. I’m not giving up on this complaint and will be filing a police report if it’s not resolved. I also intend to write to the Tampa BBB on the way the issue has been handled. To date, I’ve heard nothing from two different managers or from my original email. Carrabba's Italian Grill discrimination by employees

As I have gone to culinary school and have worked under trained Chefs and have worked in many high standing resturants it really sadden me that the staff at Carrabba's in Jacksonville standards are so low. I first reliezed this when I saw how unclean and unsafe the resturant was as well at closing time if you wanted to clean the staff complained .As well the high level of discrimination both sexully and well known about by staff is out of this world as a person whom has worked to do my best at all times I have to honestly say don't eat at Carrabba's Jacksonville Beach they are not cleaning their is mold and melldew every where people will get sick and I am really sad to say that the staff is way way behind time if they think it's Ok to harass staff member s who are new and trying their best to do Safe Services to the customers and staff they get a flat out thumbs down from me and I worked in the resturant don't eat atbCarrabbas Jacksonville for your own health.

Carrabba's Italian Grill waldorf, maryland location. dirty silverware, dirty bathroom, server smelled of smoke and dressed like she was at a slumber party.

My friend and I ate lunch at the Waldorf, Md location between 1-2 pm on 5/2/18. Our server was polite, but dressed like she was wearing pajamas. Sloppy presentation at best. When she approached the table, cigarette smoke smell was overwhelming. At the end of our meal, we asked for takehome boxes. She brought 2 small square dessert boxes that would not accomodate the leftovers. Not even close.
