Carquest Auto Parts Policy on returning defected parts.

Had to replace front cv axles in my jeep three times. The parts are defective because I am retired and only put aprox. 15,000 miles on the jeep before the ccv axles go bad. And they are all highway miles. The last times just had to exchange them for the new ones and now I had to pay the full price and Advance Auto Parts said it is like I'm starting over again with the warranty . If the parts are going bad that quick they have to be defective and why should I have to pay full price again and not have the warranty on them. I purchased them at Advanced Auto Parts store # 01059 38 N Maysville Ave. Zanesville, ohio. My name is Larry Morgan. It just doesn't make sense not to back your warranty on you merchandise.

Carquest Auto Parts Refund on wrongly ordered part

We ordered an axle assembly for front passenger side of a Toyota Camry,the order had to be prepaid before they would order ,we paid the part came in and we live 37 miles from the store and got it home was the wrong side. We returned for a refund and the people said ohh that a no refundable part and they should have told you,which they didn’t.it’s our mothers car and she’s 81 and a lot of her check went for that part.we have been customers there for years, but new management took over and we feel like we. Are being mistreated because we are a few of the native Americans who do business there.this isn’t right for one they ordered the wrong part why do we have to be said no too it was there fault.

Desired outcome: Would like moms money back and them to admit it was there fault for the missordering not us.

Carquest Auto Parts customer service

A few weeks back I had my mechanic look at my car. Called back and said the battery was bad. Told him to get one at Car Quest as I had an account there. Mechanic calls back and says I don't have an acount at Car Quest. What the heck? I've had an account at Car Quest for 50 years. Mechanic thought it was weird too. Called the store to find out what was going on. He said account was closed as it wasn't used. Bought a battery last fall at Car Quest in Malta and it was working. Shouldn't I have been notified of this? Very embarrassing. Manager says I'll have to fill out a new credit application to start a new account, ok fine, could you please send me one. Sure no problem and I give him my box number. I notified him 4 times, and he said he would send one. It is not a lot of work to do. I still expect him to do this and perhaps an apology note wouldn't hurt. Sounds like he has a chip on his shoulder. I've never complained about anyone before.

Carquest Auto Parts Employee

This female worker name Veronica Marcia that works at the manassas location doesn’t know how to keep it professional when it come to clients always flirting, joking inappropriately, I once thanked her for a favor and she responded with as long as i come over to her house and take a couple drinks it’s all fine. I love buying From Carquest they always have the parts I need and I always get them When I want Them but it’s just every time I call and she pics up It makes me uncomfortable.

Carquest Auto Parts Service

On Aug 8th, 22 A riding mower was taken to CarQuest in Holly Springs, Ms. 177 S. EAST Boundary St. It has been two weeks and I am being informed that the required part has not showed up. When I inquired about picking up the mower from the shop I am informed that I have to pay a fee. The mower is still under warranty and I need that mower repaired or allowed to get it to another repair shop

Desired outcome: Released or Repaired in a timely manner. Overnight Express. Same day shipping. Etc.

Carquest Auto Parts Employee named "Sparky" at store #3614

Extremely rude employee. I searched inventory on the advance auto web site at it showed in stock for "in store pick-up" at the local carquest in Hollywood Maryland #3614. As soon as I entered the store this employee named "Sparky" was rude. He quoted me a different price then the in stock price from the advance web site and when i questioned he stated i had to buy online, when i requested where it stated that he continued to take to me rude and could not provide a legitimate answer other then it is what it is. Well, I drove to the advance auto store, where I am always treated with respect and they confirmed, the price on line IS the in store price. So I purchased it through advanced and requested they deliver it from carquest to advance for me to pick up tomorrow morning.
As a business, I do not understand why you would employ an individual who treats customers like ___ and drives business away. Understand carquest is a subsidiary of advance auto, but I will never patronize any carquest again. If necessary, I will have your business transfer any parts to the local advance auto on Walton lane... or start shopping auto zone.

Desired outcome: You figure out what you need to do... I would recommend asking other associates or customers about "Sparky", I will not shop there again!

Carquest Auto Parts Slave cylinder

Made me waist my time and money I work at a shop here in gilroy so I make sure no one else looses their time with this pathetic place they call an auto parts store @Carquest 210 E 10th st . The management is horrible the employees even worst. Waited a whole week for a part they never ordered. They even gave me the wrong slave cylinder in the first place. Horrible service Invoice number 619699 .

I went to but few parts for cars business . As a enter, I walk other way to the front counter when I encounter 5 peoples . 2 of them in the phone . Nd three talking between each other . As a stood there waiting. No one seems to care about my needs . As waiting . A women yell from across the counter about 7' feet's from me to my left . She yells to me, @ WHAT YOU NEED ! I really felt bad and very unwelcome . Like a pice a shtt . So I proceed to say . Good afternoon, welcome here, how can I help you ! . Repeating what they should say to me . In the first place. As saying this, the women's look to me very annoying and undeceive and unfavorable and very discriminatory. I guess because I

I ask her for her name she say she as maggy the manager . The person next to her roll her eyes on me too . While I was leaving they were making me feel bad .
I believe that things like this should not occurs in place of business like this one and good customer service should habite a place of business . A great busniness like this .
All I want to This people call a manager to apologize to me and the person next to her. Otherwise peoples like this should not work in places likes this . I will never will set a foot a business who doesn't respect peoples and welcome there customer . You guys should have better peoples a leaders

This store is very unprofessional, the manager told me she was goin to have my part in by Saturday, Which was a week exactly because they gave me the wrong part in the first place. I went in today to pick up like the manager told me to do only to find that they never ordered the part, then one of the coworkers calls her manager and she claims she knows nothing about my part when she’s the one that helped me, this is pathetic especially her being a manager I will never do business here again & to top it all of I paid 141$ with some change and they only returned me 136$ because they claim idonated 5$ which is something I would NEVER do . I will be back Monday to get my 5$ idont care that they’re only miserable 5$ I’m more upset that they made me wait a whole week for nothing . live in north east montana malta carquest closed 430 pm on a Saturday what a [censored] hole . so I call Glasgow mt carquest and there closed to 430pm Saturday after noon . why don't you find people that want to work . and make u money . not welfare case . u might as well close the dam doors to both store.

Carquest Auto Parts brake caliper

Replaced front brake caliper on my 2012 Ram 3500. When I had it all together and pressed brake pedal one of the boots came off of the housing. Course this was after the store closed and I was stuck for the night with a broke down ride. I will be taking it back to the store for a replacement as to the staff in Sedro-Woolley WA are excellent and I try to stay loyal there. Please look into this part failure as to it was a huge inconvenience and irritant to have a new part fail. Especially brake system. At least I saw it now and not down the road as dirt and grime caused the caliper to fail at speed...

Carquest Auto Parts acrylic enamel car paint

Bought this paint, supposedly mixed in store. And it didn't set up right. I used the right amount of hardener, I've used this exact paint at least 20times before! I've wasted weeks of my time, and hard work, plus $243.43!
I'm not sure what went wrong, but it's been 3 weeks and my car is still tacky. It hardened after a week in the shop, then I pulled it outside, the few settled and it now has dirt and grime embedded into the paint. In order to fix this, I'll have to spend another couple of weeks sanding it back down, and another few hundred dollars on new paint.
I have the receipt.

Carquest Auto Parts Lost credit account payment

I opened an account with advanced auto parts to get a discount as they instructed me. Then when CARQUEST took over, I tried to get the correct spelling on my account name, and to do so took my check into the local Twin Falls, Idaho store as the correct spelling was on the check and it made sense to have them personally handle it. A month later I was sent a bill for the missing payment, I checked my account and it had cleared. I informed the store manager of that and he said he would contact head office Atlanta and
handle it. I have since received 3 more bills, each time informing me of overdue account (they have my money somewhere on someone's account and have since it was paid in April) The last bill threatens me with legal action, and when I contacted them someone named Chantell informed me that I needed to prove that I made the payment and to send her a check copy...I asked if she was willing to pay 25.00 for the check, she said they don't pay check copies. Since it was their mistake, I have paid the amount, it in my mind should be handled by them. I called the local store manager, Tony, who has repeated stated that it would be taken care of, only to be told that there was nothing he could do. I informed him that I guess they would be putting me in jail over their mistake. I asked him to close the account (I will have to buy repair parts elsewhere which since the company change over will not be terrible) and I am no waiting for the next shoe to fall from the collection department of CARQUEST. I am not at fault, and am old enough I think I will fight this injustice for a while

Carquest Auto Parts Mr. Tom Martin

In April of 2014, I had 2 years service with Carquest Auto Parts, Topeka, Kansas as a delivery driver of auto parts to various vendors.

On Wednesday April 30th, 2014 I reported for work and proceeded to discuss my anniversary pay raise with Mr. Tom Martin, Manager of the store, one thing led to another, avoiding the raise conversation. Mr. Martin stated, he had me on the schedule for working this coming Saturday. In talking with Mr. Martin reminded him he had just told me 2 weeks prior that I would not be on a Saturday work schedule until May 17th. Mr. Martin had scheduled me for the previous Saturday also, had another driver fill in for me because plans had been made for that weekend. Mr. Martin jumped me about not scheduling that Saturday off either on the
calendar or in the computer which is the procedure. I asked why would I schedule time off when he had already told me I wouldn't be working a Saturday until May 17th. The discussion got rather heated and I told him this was a bunch of ### and that he had my 1 week notice.

Thursday, May 1st was my scheduled day off, came to work Friday May 2nd completed my schedule and he terminated my employment at the end of the shift for inappropriate language during our conversation. This was a smoke screen, due to the annual raise I should have gotten.

Mr Martin's profanity is on a daily basis to fellow employees along with customers using the f-bomb.

In 2 years with Carquest I have never had any kind of evaluation for performance, I believe if they have nothing down in writing you can not prove them wrong. I did get a raise last year which brought my salary to $7.83 per hour.

There is also questions about auto parts being sent out without being paid for by Mr. Martin to a company called Kansasland Westport to a gentleman named Steve, don't have his last name, this can be confirmed by fellow employees at Carquest.

I worked for 35 years with the BNSF Railroad in a management position, 27 years serviced with the Air Force & Army.

I liked my job with Carquest, putting up with the atmosphere, the intimidation, threats, being retired from my previous company & military background do not need the stress. My name is: Stan Lusk [protected]

Carquest Auto Parts Poor Customer Service for Commercial Account

I am past trying to work with this store. Too many changes, lackluster service, store managers not wanting to help, leaving early, assistant managers questioning why you call their store and not knowing how to look up parts requested the day before nor be able to locate in their system. Sales managers not even attempting to make an effort to work with your shop. Regional sales manager not wanting to listen to commercial customers and deal with problems. Apparently my commercial account is not worth CarQuest's time. Good to know. I will make sure everyone knows how Carquest treats their commercial accounts. As a consumer and business owner, I would not even recommend this store to anyone!
