My clothes I ordered in February.
I haven't received my merchandise since February 2023.The company owns me $60.00 but I haven't received my refund, either. I just wanted my money back. I feel the Carol Wright Gifts is not honest with their money back guaranteed. I don't know my account number because it's been a long time since I received anything. Your response is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

$14.95 fee charged to me that I never authorized
My credit card, that I used to purchase a pair of sandals, was charged a membership fee of $14.95. I did not request nor did I authorize such a fee. I called [protected] (the number given to me by an employee of Carol Wright when I called to complain) on April 5, 2023 to have this charge cancelled and refunded. I was told it would be taken care of.
On April 10, 2023, I called again due to the fact that my request was NOT handled. The charge was still on my Visa. AGAIN, I was told it would be taken care of and I received an apology for their error.
Today, April 25, 2023, this matter HAS NOT BEEN HANDLED! Needless to say, I am a bit miffed at all the lies and incompetence that has been attached to this case.
I called the number above every day and received a message that they were having mechanical difficulties, please call again. I feel I have been scammed out of $14.95. While it may seem a small amount to you, but to me (a widow on a low income) its a bag of groceries!
I will NEVER do business with Carol Wright again! This "membership fee" is totally unacceptable! I did not request or authorize it and I WANT THIS CHARGE REFUNDED TO MY VISA ACCOUNT IMMIDIATELY!

Ordering a clearance item and them canceling it
I ordered a comforter set from Carol Wright that was on clearance, then they canceled it for no reason so when I called not one person could give me a reason as to why they had canceled it. All they could say is "I don't know what to tell you". What kind of way is that to run a business. I have spent a lot of money buying through that company, but no more if the first time I try to purchase a item on clearance and they cancel it on me, they will see no more of my money!
Desired outcome: I would like a good reason as to why you canceled my order and I know you were not out of stock so don't try and tell me that.

I was charged two payments on my account in dec 5 2022 on my account and they told me i would get a refund which i never received. I want to know when i will get my refund back or if i have to look into it another way? The payment was 50.00 which was charged twice. I received a call from Carol Wright online ordering service. I was asked to join Passport to Saving. I said no several times. She continued to tell about the saving I would receive. I finally agreed after she said I could cancel when I got the package of saving. She said I could cancel that day and keep the coupons. When I received the PassPort Saving package. I saw no coupons I wanted to use. I called and tried to cancel. I was passed to several people before I was told my membership was cancelled. The following month, I noticed I had been charged for membership fees. I call and again was pas to several people before I was told my membership was cancelled. Beware, you are required to pay a membership fee to order from Carol Wright. It is not worth paying to order, the clothes are just cheap everyday clothes. Now I must monitor my card to check if I am being charged membership fees.

Ordered in Nov. as a Christmas present. By the time he opened them, the 30-day guarantee was past. Even after pre-washing them, the color bled on my husband's hands and on my white sheets. Exchanging them would cost me $10. Getting a refund would cost me $10. Poor quality and poor customer service, talking to a girl in the Phillipines with an accent so strong it was barely understandable.

Complaint concerning order number XTLN8800, and the deceitful practices of carol wright on my first with them. Shipped 7-12-21 did not arrive till 8-3. FEDEX changed the type of shipping from smartpost to ground and LOST the package for a two weeks and then delivered it via ground not smartpost as it should have been it sat in limbo, callled carol wright on 7-21 to get a replacement and was told it would be shipped out never left Co.. Fedex finally found it the first order later and left it in the lobbby of my Apartment complex, and it was stolen. when I called to inquire about the replacement CS couldnt find the reorder, then I was told on 7-27 I would receive a refund in 3-5 days. well no refund and no order has been received. their CS just lied and gave me the runaound after transfering my call and disconnecting me three times only to be lied to that the refund was in process. well its 8/15 it has not been refunded nor have i received my products that I paid $27.82 I want the product or refund my money and I'll get it someplace else.

I was sitting with my 9yo and 4 yo grandsons looking at catalogs for ideas for gifts. The carol wright catalog was next. Flipping through it and on page 36 and 37 is very inappropriate stuff for kids!

My order # is XIYQ0800 I received half my order the Bissell sweeper However I haven't received my I pad pillow pad they were order at the same time and you have taken the money out of my account for both! inappropriate bank card charge
I had conducted business with Carol Wright for years with no issues. Recently, however, I experienced a significant one. I placed an order and received the confirmation e-mail for my order. I decided to cancel the order, placing 5 phone calls to do so. Each time I was told by customer service my order was not in the system yet. After the 5th day, the charge for the item appeared on my checking account statement, for they had debited my bank card. I called Carol Wright to cancel the order. Customer service had no record of the order, despite my confirmation number and e-mail. They also could not explain why my bank card was charged when no record of my order existed in their system. I disputed the charge with my bank to have the charge removed.

Yesterday I placed an order with the understanding I would get free shipping, due to your ad. Carol Wright.com charged me $8.99 shipping delivery fee plus $1.95 for free replacement. I have called numerous times about this and none of the reps understand this problem. Some tell me you charge $3.95 for handling but that is a far cry from $8.95 plus $1.95. I am so disappointed because I have been a loyal customer for years and have a revolving account with you. I cancelled my order and will never order from CarolWrightGifts.com again. Such a lovely name you have but you are not honest with the public.

Parents of young children and /or minors should be aware that this company has material not suitable for children. Some items have explicit language in the descriptive heading and many have pictures that are "anatomically correct".
Refund Scam
My mother (92yrs old) order recliner cover item# 64901 said to fit any recliner priced 19.99 and free shipping . The recliner cover did not fit her chair. We were told to just sent it back with the return label for a full refund. Out of the $25.89 they charged her she was refunded $12.00. I called to find out why and they said the difference was for handling and the return label cost . They kept $13.89 of my mothers money for a 19.99 purchase which they chaged her 25.89. The catalog states free shipping and money back guarantee! They fleeced my Mom! I dont know where to turn to get her money back Carol Wright Gifts says Sorry we will not refund .

I wasn't aware of the scam at the time, so I clicked. The first screen asked for name, address, and possibly to enter the credit card number. Since I thought I was dealing with Carol Wright, I entered the information.
Well, it turns out that I had just gone to Freshipping.com and subscribed, according to them, to an auto-renewing monthly membership at $11.97 per month with FreeShipping.com. I never received the $10 back from Carol Right, but beginning the next month, charges started appearing on my credit card. I frankly did not recognize them until the third month, as I buy several things a month from the Internet, but on the third month, I followed up by calling the 800 number on the charge, [protected]. They, Freeshipping.com, explained to me that I had signed up back in April, and were only willing to refund the current month's charge and cancel my membership. I don't remember accepting the membership, as I make a practice not to buy memberships of this kind. I had gotten burnt several years back. They told me they had sent a confirmation email, which if I did not reply to, they would assume I wanted the membership. I believe the email went to SPAM, as my ISP sends a lot of these types of email to the SPAM bucket. Bottom line, stay away from this outfit, and from any companies that associate themselves with Freeshipping.com via these offers for rebates, free shipping, and provide links at their site. I will be very leery of doing business with Carol Wright again.

I had bought a nice winter robe from Carol Wright Gifts and in June I bought only one top for about $13, I never was told or asked about signing up for any membership for any fee, but my father just called me and told me that I was being charged $14.a95 a month for a membership that I never even knew about and never signed up for! I see there are other complaints from customers of Carol Wright Gifts that said they did the same thing to them, and I will never give them any of my business again and they really should be out of business for scamming and ripping people off like this!

She claimed after my father called and asked for this to be canceled and to get a refund, (will see what happens) that they are giving me a refund and canceled my membership fee that I never of course even signed up for or even knew about.
