CarId don't believe what they say about having the part

Bought a brake booster on 1/10/19 with the understanding I would have it 1/11/2019. Were a business and its a customers vehicle part.

Friday nothing call them up. Oh were putting it in the box right now and you will have it sat or monday. Monday nothing. Called again.

We shipped it out and you will have it on 1/17. My customer is pissed, I could have had it from other suppliers for monday guaranteed. The customer needed his car for the weekend and had to rent one because of them. We have a ticked off customer.

There excuse is the shipping times are just a estimate. Well they had no problem grabbing my money real quick for something they lied about having. They say I wont get a refund until I ship the part back to them. I want this payment stopped, this company is a fraud.

I buy over 400, 000 in parts a year and thought I found a good source. Boy was I misled.

CarId led headlights

This company is a big rip off. They send you defective product, will not exchange or refund. I bought LED lights from them, both lights had problems on high beam. One didn't work and the other had a spot in the center. Contacted them and they wanted to know if they were still in resell-able condition, I said sure but they don't work right. That tells me that if they do take a return they just repackage them and send them out to the next person that buys from them. They also asked for a pic or video and I told them I didn't have one and was not going to reinstall them just to take a picture or a video of them. There reply to that was that they have to have on for the manufacture. So I am just out $179.00 for something that won't work. I am going to report them to the BBB, and the state attorney Generals office for fraud.

CarId brakes

I ordered brake rotors the front were the right size the rear were not.
Now its been past 2 months pushing to 3 and they keep saying they are checking with the manufacturers. They have been blowing me off for over a month now.
And to top it off they keep saying its out of there return window time
I remind them that only counts if they did there part correctly the first time. It doesn't count if they ship the parts.
Got to Napa. Don't order anything here

CarId shipping

They overcharge for shipping (40.00 on a 170.00 order) then ship parts after the estimated delivery date. When you call them they say they will provide you with their shipping policy which means they think their slow shipping is the norm. 10 days for simple spark plugs is way too long in today's 2 day shipping environment. I can't go to the parts store now because you can't get a refund until you receive your order which will be next week I guess.

CarId product issue followed by the worst customer service

The WORST customer service. Went with company after they advertised free shipping. Saw they offered Military discount so I called and was verified and approved. Didn't realize until later that they gave me the discount but took away free shipping. Wasn't much more so I didn't make a deal of it. Ordered tail lights. It rained a week after install and they filled with water. Contacted Car ID to see if I could get money back and return items. Would not do a refund. Not their policy. They will only replace with same (defective) product. Will only send replacements after they send me return label, send back old lights, and then review my account. More than a week later and still no return label. Call and they are still "processing" label. Called again and demanded refund. They finally agreed, but will only issue refund after they receive old tail lights. Still "processing" return label. Return label "should be done in another 24 to 48 hours". The same label I have been waiting on for more than a week. It states on website main page "Easy Returns". That's a joke.

CarId tire delivery time

When I purchased the tires on a Tuesday the 9th I clearly stated to Anthony that I will be on the road on Tuesday Mourning for Florida due to being a insurance adjuster and needed to be down on Florida to inspect claims I had set up for inspection due to the Hurricane. Anthony fully understood this and I told him if the tires can not be to my home on Monday to cancel the order. He reassured me that he and his manager will walk or push this through so it will be there for Monday. NOW both of these lazy Piece of [censored]s did not walk this order through and the order was not put of for delivery until Wednesday night at 9 pm! This order was not canceled nor did these 2 "gentleman" did not take ownership of the mistake and just stated it was a possibility to get them on Monday. Then if they knew when they placed the order why not cancel as instructed and refund my money like I told Anthony to do. Then Anthony and Manager not answer the calls on The Thursday when I found out about this and they stated the order is shipped and it's mine! I had to change the inspection times of these insured who had their house damaged by a Hurricane that I would not be there to HELP them! I will and every chance I have to tell my story to every site and friends across the Country about your company! This is not good business. I very simple thing I requested is that you re-route the tires to Florida... yep These 2 [censored] refused this because they stated it was my issue and I had to pay for their mistake. (because they said it was a possibility for Monday) Even though I stated to cancel if the delivery time was going to be ON TUESDAY! This whole sale of these tires has caused many issues throughout the weekend and the beginning of the week to get the tires and having them installed it was a chain reaction of bad things happening!

CarId carid will not cancel an order that I placed 3 hours prior

I have included a link to the video of the process for buying rims and tires from CARID.com. At no point does the site or the process tell me that I can not cancel my order once I click purchase. They will not let me cancel my order per their hidden policy's.

I purchased a set of rims and tires from CARiD.com. 3 hours later, I ask them to cancel the order. Non-custom, in-stock items I ordered. They said I could not cancel the order and I would be forced to receive and pay for it. No cancelations period. They eventually explained that their policy is to not cancel rim and tire package orders. That is not what I was told or presented when I purchased. If there was a notice or a pop up that said you can not cancel this item, I probably would not have purchased. I explained to the support person at CARiD that this was not right, no where was I notified or could see a no cancelation policy. The support persons response was that he didn't make the rules, and that's it. He then said they would do me a "favor" and allow the order to be canceled but I have to pay a 9 or 19.95 restock fee on each item. I told them hell no, that is not a favor, that is a consumer theft. I am seeing what else can be done to protect us consumers from these greedy people. 3 HOURS! That's all the time that went by from my order to cancellation request.

Also, the website is littered with messages that say they will return or cancel your order without any issue. LIE

CarId car seat covers

Before I ordered these covers I emailed the company and ask them specifically if these covers had seperate headrest covers. They emailed me back and confirmed that they did. The picture and description of the covers definitely indicated that they were seperate. When I got them they were one piece and I couldn't use them. I called and told them what had happened. They told me to return them and I PAY the return shipping costs. That certainly doesn't make sense to me. Horrible customer service!
I will not purchase from them again.

CarId wheel & tire package damaged/ poor customer service

I purchased a wheel and tire package on 9/6/18. I received the order on 9/18/18 with all four wheels being damaged. Called CARid and was told I would have to start a damage claim. Ups picked up the packages 9/21/18. I was told as soon as ups sent tracking numbers to them a new order would be processed, that did not happen. Received an email that the new order had been processed on 9/26/18 and they would ship on 10/5/18. A few hours later I received another email saying there was a delay and they would now ship on 10/9/18. Today is 10/8/18 and I decided to call and check the status of the order. I am now being told there was another delay and they are unsure of the new estimated shipping date. It has now been over a month since I paid over $3200 for the wheels & tires and have no product.

CarId unreasonable shipping time/cancellation policy

Don't be fooled by their flashy website, online chat, etc. Recommend you do not do business with this company.
Initially, I believed the salesperson was very helpful. I wanted to order 17x9 wheels and tires for my wife's brand new Jeep. The salesperson advised me these wheels, although they should fit, might be tight and I should go with something more aggressive. He told me the same wheels were available in 20x10 with a -24 offset. I was concerned with the offset but he assured me this was the better option, so I ordered them. I now know this offset is too aggressive and the tires will stick out too much for what my wife wants. Not his fault, but was he being helpful or just upselling me on the more expensive 20" option?
The salesperson told me it would take about 2 weeks to deliver. I placed my order, and my credit card was charged (almost $3200), on 04SEP18. The website also indicated the estimated ship date was 14SEP18.
On 20SEP, having heard nothing about my order even though I had inquired twice online, I called and was told they were waiting on the TPMS sensors. I asked what the ETA was and they could not give me an answer, only "you'll get a tracking number when they ship, ok".
On 24SEP I called again and asked for the status of my order. Still waiting for the sensors. Still can't tell me how long. "We'll email you tracking information when they ship, ok". No, it is not ok! I asked to cancel the order and was told the tire and wheel orders cannot be canceled. I asked to speak to a supervisor, was told there were none but to hold on. After some time, the salesperson came back and told me my tires and wheels would ship the next day. Really? How did things change that quickly?
Well, of course, they did not ship. I understand their policy is they won't cancel or refund tire and wheel packages, but if they cannot deliver the product in a reasonable amount of time, or come up with another solution, they need to cancel the order and make things right. They also don't have to deal with my wife who is livid that her Jeep is not done!
Shame on me for not researching the company before purchase. With almost 600 BBB complaints and thousands of negative online reviews, this company cannot be trusted. I just want to quickly receive a full refund and be done with them.

CarId Mounted wheels and tires

9/18/18
I purchased a set of wheels and tires from CARiD on July 09, 2018. Upon arrival, i noticed many issues with the order. FIRST, I had paid them an extra $152.96 to install TPMS sensors, which they did. The TPMS sensors are what tells your vehicle which tire is low and where it is located. For example "Driver's Rear". So every wheel/tire combo came with a location on it, such as "Driver's Rear". The problem is that if i placed the tires in the correct location, two of the tires where facing toward the back, instead of to the front. These tires are directional, and cannot be used backwards. They will need to be remounted, or have the TPMS sensors reprogrammed. Both of which cost money, both of which CARiD never acknowledged, nor did they offer to fix. SECOND, one of the wheels came with a giant "ding" in the face of the rim. Again, no offer to fix or replace. THIRD, every wheel/tire combo was mounted and balanced so they could be installed and driven immediately upon arrival, unfortunately the mounting weights that they used were not affixed properly, and fell off of one wheel/tire combo while simply sitting in the garage. This will need to be re-balanced, along with the rest that are using the same weights. If they fell off just sitting there, i'm sure the rest will fall off as well. FINALLY the biggest issue of all. The fourth wheel they sent me was not even the correct bolt pattern for my vehicle. My Kia Rio uses a 4 bolt pattern, and the last wheel had 5 bolts. This is absolutely unusable. I contacted CARiD about the issue. After many days and weeks of getting the run around, i was given a shipping label and told to ship the wheel with incorrect bolt pattern back to them to be corrected. Finally they stepped up and attempted to correct the issue. Unfortunately, they are now telling me that i must close my PayPal case before they will ship it back. They are literally holding my wheel for ransom until i close the case that is my only lifeline from them screwing me over. I feel they are being dishonest and attempting to get me to close this case knowing that i will not be able to open it again. I finally just requested all my money back via PAYPAL which i got months later. EVERYTHING they promise is a lie. Be prepared for horrible service and pre-scripted email responses not relevant to to the situation all. Their service staff is trained to just copy and paste and answers, never giving any personal help. Aaaaand upon delivery, every wheel and tire was posted with a giant orange sticker stating that you now own these wheels and CARiD will NOT be held responsible if you attempt to install them. Basically saying if you put them on and set the car down, you're stuck with them. FAR from what their website states. And be advised returning one of these costs about $70 each. That's out of YOUR pocket. Cost me $200 to send the other 3 trash products right back to this trash company.

CarId poor customer service / can't speak with any supervisors

CARID.com has been my worst online buying experience. I placed an order for wheels and tires and was quoted 10 days for delivery. After 15 mins I realized on the email receipt that delivery was much longer and decided to cancel. Called back literally 15 mins after placing order via the phone and was told wheels are custom fit and I will be charged be a 10% canceling fee to restock. Absolutely, absurd so I requested to speak to a supervisor/manager and was told they don't have a supervisor to speak with. I should have cut my loss and just paid the restocking fee; however, reluctantly kept order. Shipment arrived and wheels did not fit...wheels was not milled deep enough and CARiD customer service stated I will need extended (shank) lug nuts. I have been calling for a week and keep getting told that lugs will be ship today expect tracking by close of business. To be continued...

CarId poor customer service and shipping issues

After looking over several sites i chose to go with car id for my custom wheels and tires for my car...i liked the fact that the site said in stock ready to ship with a 3-5 day delivery time...That was a lie...after placing my order and getting an email confering everything, i get another email stating there is a delay and it will be the 22nd before it even ships and a 3-5 day ship time...so i'm waiting 2 weeks on a supposed 3-5 day delivery...called customer service to find out why, was told they had to wait for the items to be shipped to them before they could mount and balance my wheels and tires and then ship them to me...that;s right these items were not in stock like the website claimed...asked them if they would cover the shipping costs to compensate me for the delay and was offered $40...wow...Will Never Do Business With Them Again

CarId refund for bumper

I am extremely annoyed and disappointed with Carid.com I have previously ordered a bumper for my Genesis coupe Hyundai. The part did not fit my car so I send it back waiting for my refund. I have been waiting for 4 week now, still no sign of my refund. I have contact the company several time now. But it seem like I'm getting the run around. Upon several emails sent to the company the claims department notify me with a email claiming that the product was damage. This is just asinine to me, to send back a damage bumper after pictures and email were exchange. Order #[protected]

CarId saab sunroof visor and seat covers order number [protected] & [protected]

I am extremely annoyed and disappointed with Carid.com
I have previously ordered a sunroof visor for my Saab 900i to be delivered to the UK. I paid online, and was then contacted to say it was going to cost an extra $70 to ship. I agreed to this, and ordered some seat covers too, asking that they be posted / shipped together. The seat covers were selling online by Carid for max $120 (size / model dependent)
I checked my PayPal balance today and $286.37 has been charged to my account!
I have not agreed to these charges, and have emailed Andy T three times demanding a cancellation of the order, and a refund of my money. I have heard nothing back!
This is a complete rip off company!

CarId refund

Sir/Ma'am,

I'm writing in regards to my order that was placed on May17, 2018 order# [protected] for $522.09. The kit was the wrong kit for my truck, I contacted CARID and requested to return it. Belltech was an hour and half away from me at the time so I mentioned that I could just take it directly to the corporation. After patiently waiting for an RMA to generate I was given permission to take the part in with the RMA. I drove the part in and dropped it off on Friday 25MAY18 at 3pm. I called Monday about my refund, I was advised that the company would have to process the return before CARID could refund me and it would take a couple days for processing. I was told to call back Thursday. I called back Thursday and I was told that they still didn't see it and try back on Monday. It is now 04JUN18 and no refund in sight. I call once again and was told that they had to call Belltech to verify that the part was dropped off as if I would just make up the whole scenario, after verifying that the part was indeed dropped off I was told my case was sent to the internal team to process my refund and it would take a few days to show back up on my card. I finally felt a bit of relief but it was misguided because 11JUN18 no refund was posted. I called AGAIN and once again the representative called Belltech to verify that the kit was received. After again getting conformation that the part was indeed received my case was sent to the internal team for the refund and this time it was going to get processed immediately as if the first time it wasn't important enough. During the time I was in the process of packing up my entire family to move overseas to the Middle East to meet mission requirements so I felt like I didn't have to be dealing with this sort of thing. I was promised that it was taken care of. I log on to my account 02JUL18 and realize that CARID still failed to refund me. Here I am thousands of miles and 6 different time zones later having the same problem I had 28MAY18. I called again late at night to make the time zone requirement to speak to customer service long distance and having to pay for each minute I was on hold because ONCE AGAIN the representative had to verify that the kit was dropped off with Belltech. 20 minutes later Max Guape advised me that Belltech confirmed it was dropped off. He told me that he was sending my case to the internal team to process my refund immediately again as if it wasn't important enough the last time. The phone call cost me $20 to make to get a refund that should've been given to me over a month ago. I check my account and no refund and no carbon copy on my email that I requested to actually see if my case was being sent anywhere. I don't deserve this kind of treatment from CARID over a kit that wasn't designed for my truck and one that wasn't opened and one that I hand delivered back to the company. Here is a breakdown of my time and efforts not taken seriously by your corporation even though I know this information falls on deaf ears:

May17, 2018- Called to place order (17 Minutes)
May 19, 2018- Received incorrect kit
May 21, 2018- Call to do a return (31 Minutes)
May 23, 2018- Call to get a status on RMA (22 Minutes)
May 24, 2018- Call to get acknowledgement that I was hand delivering kit to corporation (33 Minutes)
May 25, 2018- Dropped off kit to Belltech (93 Minutes)
May 28, 2018- Called to get refund because part was delivered (18 Minutes)
May 31, 2018- Called back about refund (23 Minutes)
June 4, 2018- Called back about refund (41 Minutes)
June 11, 2018- Called back about refund (37 minutes)
July 2, 2018- Called back about refund (20 Minutes) $20 for overseas phone call

Total time to get a refund that I still haven't received (6 hours and $20)

I'm exhausted to get a refund that I'm more than deserving of. This case is getting passed off to Navy Legal to handle the rest of this. No one wants to give me my refund so I'll let a legal team retrieve it, I've went above and beyond to get it on my own but evidently your company has absolutely no intention of trying to refund my money. Sailors don't deserve to be treated this way and your company needs to be flagged by the armed forces so service members aren't getting their hard earned money stolen from them.

CarId product not shipped as promised

On Friday, June 29, 2018, I called the Sales Office to inquire about a Higher Quality Brake Caliper for my 2011 Ram 3500 Pick up truck that I use extensively for Towing. This is my Work truck and "TIME" is very important as I am not able to work without the parts. They gave me a recommendation for a part and then I inquired about when it would "SHIP" as every day I do not have the part, it is a day I will not be able to work.

Below the Part they provided a link to, there was a Counter and it said if I purchased in the next 3 hours, it would "SHIP TODAY". I proceeded to order the part ($213.69) and I received an email confirming my purchase @ 9:47am. Even today, it gives you a ticker count down that if you purchase within the next XXX minutes, it will ship out today.

The Product NEVER SHIPPED and since I have contacted them, they have generated a Tracking Number but 12 hours after generating the Tracking Number, the product has NOT entered the UPS system. I have talked to 3 separate people and they do not care that they have failed to meet their "GUARANTEED SHIPPING" but are well versed in re-routing packages back to their location... THEN they will refund my money.

I have asked to talk to someone in Authority and that is against company policy. So we have a company who OVER PROMISES and UNDER ACHIEVED. Have ZERO Accountability and an Executive Team who want to be hidden from their Customers and do not want to be contacted when issues arise.

I have cancelled the Order, informed my bank to NOT PAY and refund my money and VISA has been notified.

Additionally, I am notifying and filing a report with the Attorney General (AG) with the state of NEW JERSEY and letting them deal with their lack of Customer Service.

I have purchased numerous times from CARID, they have quality parts but when you can not get the parts when you need them, that is an Issue...

CarId 2015 ford f150 rotors (brake kit)

I recently inquired through CarID sales chat about the purchase of a PowerStop Brake Kit that consisted of rotors and pads for the front and rear of my truck. The sales person asked me some questions about the truck and asked me for my truck's VIN number, which he said 'guarantees' a fit. The salesperson placed the 'correct' parts in my cart and I purchased them (527.00) with confidence. They were wrong. The rear rotors are the wrong ones. I inquired the same evening about the process to get them exchanged and the customer service representative was not professional, told me 'to go outside and take pictures now' (it was midnight) and that nothing can be done until they have photos. There are only two choices of rotors when you go to purchase them, and I have the wrong ones. I was told I can't have an exchange because I installed the front rotors already and you can't return installed items! I don't want to return the front rotors; I want to return the wrong rear ones! I chatted and I called and never got one person that acted like they cared about solving my issue of having the wrong rotors for nearly $600. I did send photos and all requested information. I was told that I would receive instructions within 3 days. It's been longer than that. I expect the company to resolve this issue immediately. I want a mail-back label for the rear rotors, as well as sending my correct rear rotors, so that I can return the wrong rotors. I have transcripts of all the chats, however, they are not on this computer so I will attach them later.

CarId customer service

I purchased a LED Conversion Kit for my 1999 Dodge Truck. Shortly after I had them installed I had a problem with the high beams. I contacted Chris and was told in order to replace the Kit, I would need to pay for another Kit and he would send me a return label for the old Kit and I would be refunded the original purchase amount. I received the new Kit with no return label. I contacted Sam in customer service and was told Chris didn't know what he was taking about and that I purchased two Kits. They have no intensions of working with me. I called the morning and suddenly Chris is no longer available. Go Figure.
