This is an expensive & stressful way to manage your funds, especially if you are already struggling. Firstly they have LOST my salary despite correct data input at work - so far 11 days and no sign! It also takes ages to load your CASH (paid over post office counter which btw costs you another pound) to your billing account - it states 2 working days but of course this excludes weekends. I paid in Thursday but it will be Monday before i can use my money. The web site has been down Wednesday to Friday every week since i joined and during that time you cannot get even a text with your balance on - but they charge you 15p to tell you service not available plus network charges from your phone - not normal text prices. This text tells you to phone them - but they are closed after one on Saturday. It costs £12.50 per month plus a £30 set up fee for all this stress. They are just cashing in on peoples misery and fear. Evil. Try the co-operative bank - easy, ethical, debit card, direct debits, (which ONE can't handle) n standing orders and best of all TOTALLY FREE!

I have only just joined cardone and from the start have felt uneasy about them and there service. Reading the comments i have seen has only gone to confirm my doughts. I take particular offence to the fact that on top of this monthly fee of 12.50 i must pay a further £1.00 to load my card at the post office as i can not use my on line facilities until the monthly fee is paid by debit or credit card. If i had access to a debit card i would not be using this rip off company in the first place. I will not be activating this service as all the signs are bad. Will take heed of a previous commentator and try the co op bank
