after a hit and run i was told to use this auto body shop. they absolutely butchered my truck. they broke off 2 side trim pieces and glued them back together.(on top of this they took pictures of the pieces after they glued them back together and thought that would cover them so they did not have to replace them). i also noticed significant damage to my front rims that was not there before they got my truck. after noticing these damages i took everything apart and found that they neglected to put three of the bumper bolts back on as well as other retainer clips. they broke one of my backup sensors and deny responsibilty. i cant beleive everything that i found. if you have a choice do not take your vehicle to them or if you have had work done by them i suggest that you look at it very carefully. in the end i managed to get the two trim pieces out of them but im still out multiple hardware pieces to correctly put my truck back together and i have to buy new sensors not to mention i have to live with the damage that they caused to my rims.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have also had very poor work done to my vehicle by car star, the scraped up my fender flare, mounted the bumper visibly crooked, and did not fix the 2 dents it went in for in the first place! Very disappointed, will see how well they deal with their mess.
ps: that should be REAR bumper shock! I don't like auto correct.
i know they welded one tea bumper shock mounting on my car after a rear ending. Didn't check early, so got stuck. Other Red Deer body shops are not any better.
