Canine Companions review: Unprofessional

Do not hire Aleesha Gibson, owner of Canine Companions. I had two elderly dachshunds one 15 and one 13. They were rescues, and I was fortunate to be able to take my dogs to work for 11+ years. When my work situation changed I hired Aleesha to come to my home to pet sit. She was to come Monday thru Friday at 1:30 for 30 minutes a day to let my dogs out and spend time with them during the visit. I told Aleesha during the initial interview that they did not like other dogs, and they could not go to doggy day care. I told her that one dog was deaf, and one dog was almost blind. I told her that they were a bonded pair, and at this stage of their life they needed to be in their own home, their safe place. Problem #1: she was contracted to come to my home at 1:30 – she was not consistent. Some days she came too early and some days too late. She also did not always stay the 30 minutes as agreed.
Problem #2 she brought ANOTHER dog into my home! She did not ask permission. She did not leave me a note. She did not text me about the dog. I found long white dog hair on my sofa! When confronted she said that she did bring a dog into my home not once but twice in two days. I believe there have been other dogs in my home over the past few months. Beware!
