Canadian Tire unnecessary reparations done, wrong explanations provided

I took my car to the service at the Canadian Tire in Hull, QC because my front breaks were finished. Claude, mechanic added the reparations that were 150 $ superior to what I was told by another mechanic the day before. He explained to me that the price of 350 $ was just a "vage estimate" and that the "real price" is given once the car is checked and that the extra work related to back breaks was related to the front breaks; the car would not be functional without. Making it sound severe and necessary, I had no choice but to sign the authorization so the job could be done and my car repaired. While paying the bill, I discussed the matter with the mechanic I saw the previous day and who confirmed that the additional work, what Mr Claude added was unnecessary at this point and that I could had just gotten front brakes and discs replaced; didn't need really anything else. I had to pay over 150$ extra just because Mr Claude (who is also one of the managers or supervisors there, I believe) was abusing me as women, knowing that most women, including myself, can be easily fooled when it comes to these matters. I did not appreciate what happened at all and this additional cost has affected my budget. I would like to get this issue addressed.

Canadian Tire delivery outdoor patio furniture

I am extremely disappointment with the delivery of my patio furniture set...first they were just going to drop it in my driveway...it belongs out back like most patio furniture...I am 72 years old and live alone...how can I be expected to move it to by backyard if they put it in the driveway!

Also ANY furniture I have ever had delivered was unpacked on the truck and the packaging taken with them...

I am a loyal Canadian Tire customer...BUT I certainly would not buy anything heavier then a screwdriver going forward!

Canadian Tire betty crocker popcorn machine

A couple of days ago I purchased one of your products, The Betty Crocker Hot Air Popcorn Maker Model #BC-2979CR from Canadian Tire store in St-Laurent, Quebec. That night I was making popcor vn with one of the Children, the 3 year old, when the popcorn started flying out of the machine so violently, so fast that she was burnt on his chest (through her shirt) by at least 3 scolding hot uncooked seeds. I have never in my life seen such an awful popcorn machine. My niece of coarse has burns on her chest, I have attached a photo of the burns and also a video I have taken of the machine in action.

For one thing the body of the popcorn machine does not seem at all tall enough to compensate for the power of the blower and the of the heat of the machine. I honestly cannot believe that this machine had passed your quality control team. Please advise if this machine was even tested. Also know that I used good Orville Redenbachers seeds from Costco, they are not cheap ones.

Attached please find a photo of my niece's daughter's chest, you can clearly see the burns marks, also a video I have taken of the machine in action. You can clearly see that more than half the seed fly out of the machine uncooked and hot as hell.

Your comments would be appreciated. Also what do I do with this machine? I have the receipt, however I really do not want this product back on the shelf..

Regards

Canadian Tire gift card

My aunt gave me a $100 canadian tire gift card for Christmas. I used it Dec 27 and spent $56.48 - I still have the receipt. There should be $43.52 on the card still (receipt has this info).

However my partner went to Canadian Tire and tried to use the card and it was showing as Declined. They tried it several times and then told him there was no balance left on the card, which is not true.

Canadian Tire returns

I just came from Canadian Tire store# 675 and the girl working in returns and the manager "Jacob " there robbed me $3, also they asked me all of my information which I know was already in the system. The girl even ask me to see my master card, all of this to make me belittle myself and lose my patients and look bad in front of everyone there. They made me feel like I was begging for something.. the girl was leing and the manager was just playing along.. I felt so humiliated I will never shop there again neither will my family.

Canadian Tire plants

I purchased 3 hydrangeas end of the summer from their nursery. This would have been around august/september. They are dead as anything. I talked to a staff last week and he said dig them up and bring in no problem. Dig them up. Brought them in. They claim they only warranty for 3months!
This means that anything bought in august or september is only guaranteed until the snow flies! November or december. Does anyone else know it snows in canada? So basically anything they sell after july you're taking your chances and could be throwing away your gambled money. They refuse (rudely) to honour me as a long long long time customer even though the tags are still attached and it's past 3 months. Had I known their scam then I never would ha e bought anything from them. Now I know. And so will my friends.

Canadian Tire automotive services

I am writing to detail my experience with Canadian Tire (Woodstock). It was beyond frustrating and I will likely never shop at Canadian Tire after this due to the poor encounter with your staff. My story begins on Tuesday, May 22 at 16:42. I placed a call to book an appointment so that I could have my oil changed and my car serviced as it wasn't running smoothly (and I am not a car-savy person). Appointment was booked for Thursday, May 24th at 08:00. Thursday, May 24th comes along and I bring my car in early, explain my situation to the Auto Service department teller (I believe his name was Dan). I should explain that I am a registered nurse who works at University Hospital in London, but I live in Woodstock. I just finished my shift and dropped off my car, then walk home 20 minutes, as I have no vehicle. At 08:54, Dan returns my call stating there are numerous issues with my car. He goes on to explain that the alignment need fixing, the tires need replacing, the wheel bearing on two of the wheels were shot, as well as the initial oil change/ filter as was scheduled. He explained that the cost was roughly $1, 100 to replace. When I inquired about whether the vehicle would be finished today, he told me "Absolutely", which was perfect because I worked again in London tonight and had no means of transportation. I go to sleep and wake up roughly around 15:00. I didn't hear anything from Canadian Tire so I called them at 15:33 to inquire about the status on my car. Dan from Auto Services answered, and stated that my car wasn't ready yet, but it should be done later. That's fine, no big deal. I made him aware that I worked again at 19:00 in London, so he assured me that it would be done on time. I called back 17:32 inquiring about the status of my vehicle. I'm not sure who answered this time around, but he stated that my car wouldn't be done until tomorrow. I explained to him that I worked in London at 19:00, so was it possible to get a loaner car. And he stated "No, we don't do that". When I asked what should I do then? How was I supposed to get to London? He stated, "That's not our concern". Not only did they initially ENSURE me that my car would be finished the same day when it wasn't, but they neglected to call with any updates when things were taking longer. I understand that it's not a simple job as there was a lot of work to be done. That's not the part I am angry about. The part I'm angry about, is that they never called with any updates and the fact that "I was not their problem". The fact that I had no vehicle to drive an hour to work in was and I quote was "not their problem". It was a $70 cab ride there and another $70 back from University Hospital. Having known that they would have been keeping the vehicle overnight, I could have rented a car. Though, I had to be at work for 19:00 and it was 17:35 by the time the phone call was over, so I had a little over an hour to get to work. Options were sparse.

It goes to show what customer service means to Canadian Tire. I work in a form of customer service… health care. We listen to the patient's (customers) "problems" and come up with a plan to try and fix them. But not with Canadian Tire, as I "was not their problem". To end my story, I ended up paying $1325.00 (invoice #[protected]) and I didn't question it. I am a Gold Plan Member and have been for years. I normally take my automotive problems to Canadian Tire each time an issue arises. Needless to say, I'll be cancelling my Gold Plan at the end of the year. And more importantly, I'll be taking my business to another company who listens and addresses my concerns rather than "not being their problem".

In retrospect, I should have approached the cashier upon paying. I didn't because I didn't want to explode and cause a scene at the time. Nor did I know if that was truly the person on the other line that I was dealing with. The point is that I paid money for car services and that's all your company sees. Money is your motive at the expense of customer service. At the expense of treating people like human beings. I felt like I spent $1325.00 PLUS $140 for a terrible experience. What your staff neglect to acknowledge, is that WE are your source of income/ profit. And after today, you lost a customer for life.

Canadian Tire customer service - clearance item for sale

I went to the Canadian Tire store in St. Thomas to buy some quick connectors for a garden hose. On the shelf (hook) was exactly what I needed, then I looked over and the exact part was on clearance, and you could tell this package had been opened as it was wrapped in celophane, but it was exactly what i needed so i took the clearance item - to save a whole 7 dollars. When I checked out the cashier (she was new that week) rang it up and it came up at full price - I told her I got if the clearence rack and to look at the packaging. As she was new she sent me over to the Customer Service desk and then I waited 15 minutes for someone to help me. Then I was told again that the item was 11 dollars and not the 4 from teh clearence rack. I once again pointed out the packaging, so she took it to the manager who simply just stated nope full price. I again asked her about the packaging, open parcel (this now was more about principle then saving 7 dollars - I had already wasted more time then 7 dollars was worth). She very rudely stated if that is what comes up in the computer that is what it is - i offred to show her where i got the product and told me that she did not have time, i then mentioned the packaging and she again stated in a higher tone, it is full price, tkae it or leave it. So I left it and walked out.

I will not likely be going back to St. Thomas to shop anytime soon, I have 3 other Canadian Tires stores withinthe same driving distance, including gas bars, but will be avoiding St. Thomas.

I had an almost identical experiene at the CT on Hebron Way, St. John's, NL this morning.

My little guy needed a new street hockey stick. I checked the CT website and bingo, found a stick on clearance for $11.93 (reg price 22.95). The stick was a Sherwood, T1000 JR stick with an ABS blade. When they scanned the stick the price was $22.95. I took out my phone showed the clerk the pic and it was IDENTICAL TO THE STICK I WAS HOLDING IN MY HAND. It was indisputable. Two (not one), managers get involved. Both as rude as Ive ever experienced from a retail employee. Both managers could not dispute the product I had in my hand was the same product advertised on the website, AS AN IN-STORE CLEARANCE AT THAT SPECIFIC STORE no less, for $11.93. Here's what infuriated me: both argued that because the product codes didn't match they were different products! Same brand (Sherwood), same model (T1000), same color and paint scheme and same size (junior). But No! Bc they had two different codes they were different products. I can only assume that they were so embarrassed by the stupidity of their argument they had to dig in. The male manager ended the encounter with "Were done here!" Well guess what CT, IM "done here too! Never will i darken your door again!

Canadian Tire return department

Two days agony purchased a blueberry bush which has turned brown. I went to return it at 4:15pm on my way home from work. After waiting approximately 10 min I was told that the one in charge of authorization is at lunch or break and that I would have to come back. At 5pm when she is finished. Am I suppose to work my schedule around the employees break or lunch? Should there not be more than one person authorizing plant returns? Very disappointed in the service.

Canadian Tire retail services

I am so unhappy with my experience at the Canadian Tire on Main St. North Van. I looked online and it said there were 7 baby floaties in stock but I couldn't select Colour etc online so went into the store with my 7 month old son. I was told they had 7 in the store and was continually told ‘someone was bringing it out for me.' I waited 45 min until I purchased it and was told I would be called when they found it. I told them I needed it by Wed. as I was going out of town and needed it for my trip. I even offered to get it from another store and they said they would do his if they couldn't find it. Wed came and I still hadn't received a phone call so I went in again with my so. and was once again told ‘someone was looking for it'. There was one girl trying her best to make things right with no success and was unable to get a delivery person to drop one off so I finally received a refund for the purchase and don't have time to find another one now. To top it off I asked where the restroom was and they pointed me in the right direction and advised there was a change table for my son. This was true however it didn't open due to the location of the paper towel dispenser. I shop at this Canadian Tire often and so do my friends but I've heard of many other bad experiences there. Even today when I was in line there today there were many upset and frustrated customers. Understaffed and poor management. I have never been so frustrated and angry about a retail experience in my life. I would have much preferred someone telling me they didn't have it so I could have gone somewhere else. Unacceptable.

Canadian Tire customer relations

On tuesday, may 22, leduc, alberta canadian tire store, we proceeded through the cash register after paying for all our items. The young cashier even came to scan all the items in our cart. Two were big ticket items, the rest were smaller. My husband was pushing the cart out of the store when the security bells went off. Clearly there was something not deactivated in the cart. I showed the two employees the receipt and all items in the cart. One of them said to my husband, it's not the items in the cart, it's you. We want you to walk through without the cart. This is complete discrimination and an embarrassment especially in front of our 8year old daughter. Please have your procedures re addressed for this so you don't discriminate or embarrass anyone else.

Canadian Tire customer service re: tires

On May 14, 2018 we called Canadian Tire in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta . We were needing 4 new summer tires and found the tires on the Canadian Tire Website. We were wanting the Michelin LTX. We were told that we can't get them. OK. We gave another tire number. Nope, can't get them. We gave another...Nope. " What can you get?" He then listed lower quality tires and we explained we did not want those. We were playing telephone tag 3 times to see what tires they can get in. We redirected the conversation to inquire ' why they could not get the tires listed on the Canadian Tire website?" - I will get the manager to call you back. The manager called us back and sure enough we can get the Michelin LTX and they will take 3 days to come in.

May 18, 2018: We called to see if "the tires are in.?" No they were not. They would be coming in on May 21, 2018. Can we book the car in for changing the tires? No we are closed. When can we book in the car? We are closed on Monday. Can we book the car in on Tuesday, May 22 after 3? Yes.- 3:30 Are you sure? Yes. If the tires are not in you will call us? Yes.

May 22, 2018: They call my husband. Can we move your appointment to 1:00? No my wife is at work, that is why we asked for the after 3 appointment and you told us it would work. Ya, we can make it work. ( I found this out later)
I go in at 3:15 and give them my keys and I sit and wait. As I was waiting, my husband calls me and asked if I got the car in ..I said yes. 4:00- we can't get your car in we are double booked, what can we do? - I am pretty frustrated and explained that we have been getting the run around since Day 1. They call in the store manager...I retell the whole story situation and stated 'at this point I have no confidence that you can even put the tires on correctly'. I said, " Sorry, I do not want the tires...I will go else where." It was like I was talking to the wall...no response, no offer as to what they were willing do, Nothing. They handed me the keys and I left. I was walking around outdoors and could not find my car. Where is my car? 10 minutes wondering around. I head for the big bay doors on the side. Where was my car? Still on the hoist.
I explained to the 2 techs that is my car. I was outdoors looking for it. They couldn't believe it, " they did tell you where your car was? " 'No' and again re explained my run around and they explained they saw my keys but didn't know what was going on. They had to go and find someone just to get retails of why my car was on the hoist. They re explained that they were in fact doubled book. I asked if one of they could back my car off the hoist so I could get going. They were glad to do so. I thank them.

Canadian Tire harassment and violence.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to make a complaint for the accident which happened to me at one of your branches in Winnipeg - Canadian Tire at Garden City Shopping Center.
Yours is organization of very good reputation. It is known for great customer service, but recently, I came across aggressive behavior, disrespect, harassment, and abuse from one of your employees.
On April 19, 2018, I went to this branch to buy some parts for my vehicle. However, after waiting for a while and not being helped I encountered the aggressive behavior from an employee at auto-parts unit. She did not have a knowledge about specific issue I needed to resolve in my vehicle and realizing this she confronted me with rudeness and irritation. I asked her to call for someone who could help me with my issue, however she refused. We were heading nowhere, and I just wanted to pay and leave. At this point someone approached me as a mobster without introducing himself (it was security Bruce as I learnt later). He was so aggressive that I decided to leave the store buying nothing. When I was just about to exit the store, Bruce jumped on me from the back preventing me to come out of the store. His argument was: "You are Eastern European guy and do not know how to behave properly, you do not listen to our orders (?) and refuse to be served by a woman." He handcuffed me with violence. I was attacked by this guy for nothing. I have no criminal record, I even don't have speed tickets or traffic violation what so ever for all my life.
I'm 55 year old and I've got lucky to learn (thank you to Canadian Tire) that security is not for preventing violence, but for escalating crazy stuff out of nothing.
I'm completely lost in guessing what could trigger such violence. Bruce was holding me for 3 hours handcuffed in security room calling me insulting names and clearly enjoying it.
I asked to call police by myself right away. They said that they did call 911, however they lied, they never did because they knew there is nothing to proof by reviewing video recording. They forced me to sign "property trespass notice". If I have refused, Bruce promised to hold me overnight, no water, no washroom. He said: "You can pee in your pans". Realizing this mayhem is with complete support of the store manager, I went to police where I found they never called police.
I am asking to review this video recording as a proof that I was attacked by Canadian Tire security guy with no reason. Please remove this barring from me as it was issued with no legal grounds. Some customers were shocked with what they witnessed and offered me their contact information to testify everything they saw.
I was advised to see a lawyer and seek public media attention.
However, I am writing you because I believe in Canadian values that honest people still exist and will review this act of violence.

Canadian Tire axe

I bought a brand new axe, but after I got home my father informed me I purchased the wrong one so I went back to return it within half hour of purchase but was told I can't return it because it was used. I did not use it at all and I told them I bought it like that. I didn't use it at all and returned i tried returning it within half hour. I only waned to exchange it for the correct one. I was treated rudely and even told to "[censored] off". Worst service ever I will never ever ever buy anything from
Canadian tire again!

Canadian Tire ungrateful and rude customer service

We visited your CT store on Keisley Drive, St . John's, NL the last week of April, 2018 to purchase a Catalina Wicker Rocking Chair. We approached customer service who asked a staff to meet with us and using your computer lookup we showed him what we wanted. No problems. He radioed the warehouse and asked to have one brought to customer service for us. Shortly a man came with our chair in a huge box and we went to customer service and paid for it. My husband being the honest man he is suggested that perhaps there may be more than one chair in the box as the box clearly says 4 and it was huge. They checked and found three other complete chairs in the box cushions and all. They took one out and gave it to us and no thank you was issued.
We were amazed that we walked out of there and could have come home with 4 chairs for the price of one. We loved the rocker and went back and bought another one. No issues. April 30th we decided to buy 2 more to have a complete patio set. Returned to the store and when they brought it out from the warehouse again it was a huge box clearly marked 4. Customer service charged us for one and we walked out of the store with a worker helping us pull the trolley. We were amazed but again could not do it. Went back inside and told them. The cashier who checked us in said it was their mistake and we should just have walked away but by this time two male staff were hauling open the box. They gave us a chair and we left. Not one person thanked us or acknowledged our honesty. In fact they never spoke to us. It was an unbelievable experience. We could have had 8 chairs for the price of 2. They are 173.00 with tax so they are not cheap. We just wanted to let you know and hopefully this won't happen again. I do have my receipts to prove I bought the chairs.

Canadian Tire service

2018-05-20. 2:00 pm - I went to the CT store in Chateauguay, QC to buy a Champion Rototiller advertised for $799.99. After speaking with a clerk, I was issued a floor agent to help me with my purchase. Verifying that this branch had two pieces of this equipment, the agent then tried to find the manufacturers manual legally required for every tool, machine, or piece of equipment for sale to the public. After two hours, thy still could not find a manual for either of the rototillers. No one came to update me except to say "we're still looking".in the mean time, the truck I hired to transport the tiller is waiting outside the store. At 4:00pm I gave up waiting and wanted to speak to the store manager who was in the office behind me. He refused to come out, even after I requested he speak with me. Instead, a Mr. Tahgrib, a manager from another part of the store approached me and asked if I was the person waiting for the manual, I confirmed that and he replied they're still looking for it. This is now 2 hours later and 4 employees looking for a manual.
I tell Mr. tahgrib I am dissatisfied with being made to wait 2 hours, pay for a transport truck (the tiller is of considerable weight and size), and never have received an update as to what is going on.
Mr. Tahgrib relied to me that the transport truck isn't his problem and will do nothing to about it having to wait, but suggests possibly downloading the manual, which I say he other employees tried to do over an hour ago. He still refused to satisfy me or take into consideration my losses of time and money at the stores incompetant employees... he explained they misplaced the manual when they moved the merchandise around, or the incompetence of the managers in placing any importance at all on the required manuals.
I am from the community next to Chateauguay, and the estimated disposable income from my community to this municipality, was, at last count, approximately 14 million dollars a year, and in this Canadian Tire store in the hundreds of thousands. My spending alone, in this Canadian Tire store, is well over $20, 000 dollars.
As a loyal customer, I am bitterly disgusted at the ineptitude of the employees I encountered today in trying to purchase a rototiller worth $800 dollars.
The entire situation and the way I, a loyal Canadian Tire customer, have been treated is utterly ridiculous and demands my satisfaction.
I hope this letter of complaint reaches the supposed caring ears of the corporation, and am responded to with more than platitudes and emails.

Canadian Tire garden or leaf 5 bag bundle

Saw price match sign over 5 bag bundle of leaf bags . Posted price $2.99. Exact same bundle (as confirmed by Service Desk) $2.47 at Home Depot. Manager said "no", so no sale. Why the price match sign over the leaf bags if you will only match with other Canadian Tire Stores? I assume you match with them as the only difference was the CT logo and HD logos on the bags.

Canadian Tire most products I have ever bought from you and your customer reps

the latest incident (and the last) happended today, May 20, 2018. Picture if you will your customers point of view...

I start off my day by searching through your website to make sure that the products I want to buy are in fact in the store (I don't know how many times I've wasted cab fare to get to your stores only to find out that on the second day of your sale you are sold out and there are no rain checks offered). I get my kids and disabled husband organized, get my things ready to go, call a cab and we are on our way.

We get to your store, find what I'm looking for, but it's locked so I get a worker to come and unlock it. Then he informs me that he has to carry it to the cashier (now I'm thinking wow, I'm being treated like a thief. Okay then... so I also needed a dolly so your worker went to the back to get it... again... I'm not allowed to carry it to the front. I must say that that's really offensive but whatever. I get to the customer service desk where your worker dropped off my products, I was about to spend over $200 after being treated like a thief, I walk up to the counter and place the small products on the counter. She scanned them okay then just stood there looking at me. I look at the dolly sitting on the floor beside me and look back at her. She just kept staring at me. So I figure she must need the bar code so I point to the bar code, she tells me its not the right one. So I keep looking, find another code and point it out to her and she tells me no that's not it. So then she asks me to pick up the dolly. I'm assuming so that she can get a better look and maybe find the bar code, you know like you are paying her to do. But the bloody thing was heavy and I only had one free hand so I couldn't really manage it... keep in mind I have kids and a disabled husband with me and there is a huge line up piling up behind me, and your worker would just look at me with these dead pan eyes and then give me a disgusted look because I couldn't lift a metal dolly with one hand. Not once did she ask me to scan the product for her, I had to pretend that I was workihng there because I ended up grabbing the scanner from her and scanned the bar code that I pointed out to her the first time... and oh my god it scanned. But at this point my husband and I were so disgusted and annoyed with her that my husband said that's enough let's go and we walked out the door. We had to leave before causing a scene because what I really wanted to say was, "Get off your fat [censored], waddle around the counter, scan the product and tell us how much money you want from us."

Now this isn't the first time I've had issues and it doesn't matter which province I'm in... ALL of your stores and employees across Canada suck the big one. I once bought a lathe from you, within a week it broke. I ended up returning it 3 times and everytime we got it back the same part broke and you refused to give us back our money and we ended up just throwing it away... it never did work properly EVER. I'm really surprised how you can treat customers so poorly considering the products you sell are sub-par, mostly defective and of poor quality. And on most visits good luck on finding what you are looking for or anyone to help you. And your employees are not knowledgable at all if you can find them.

Over the last 20 years I've tried and tried buying at your stores but everytime I have been hugely disappointed and pissed off after every visit. So I'm telling you this was the last straw... I will NEVER shop at your stores anymore. Your corporation does not stand behind any of your products, your employees are all incompetent, and quite frankly you should not have Canadian in your store name because you guys give Canada a bad name. And now I'm out $14 in cab fare again, for a completely wasted trip.

At this point I really don't know what Canadian Tire could do for a resolution. I know for a fact that they refuse to give refunds for faulty products and since I refused to pay for products this time around due to poor customer service what is left? I don't have receipts for all the wasted cab fare that I have spent for each wasted trip.

FYI

When I got home I checked online and found a better quality, better priced dolly at a different store and I checked online and found the same air brush compressor that I was ready to spend at your store for a better price with free shipping same machine and it came with more stuff.

Canadian Tire ordering online

I wanted 2 seat covers. The bin in the aisle was empty. Nobody could help me get more from "the back". I check online, they have 7 left in stock. I place an order online using credit card. I recieved confirmation email, order has been processed. I recieve email from bank saying Crappy Tire has successfully made a preauthorization. Next day I recieve email saying order has been cancelled from Crappy Tire. I call support number. They can't tell me why or how its been cancelled, but tell me to call store location because they cancelled it, theyll know why. I call the store location, they are unable to tell me why its been cancelled or if they have any in stock. They couldn't even find the product in their own store. This isn't first time I have run in to trouble with Crappy Tire. The company is a joke and employees are useless.

I feel your pain trying to deal with this joke of a canadian retailer. i am just back from a trip to this useless store where i was buying a hand cart and a compressor air brush set up...not only was i treated like a thief by not being allowed to take my purchases to the counter myself...but get this...as i stand there at the customer service desk waiting to pay them i get a four tonne clerk staring at me with desolate eyes and unable to scan the product code nor locate it and now seemingly baffled ask my 100lbs wife to life what weighs near her weight to keep lifting and turning the product and then act annoyed becauuse she cannot...how bout you get off your fat [censored] and walk around and figure out how to sell us this...needless to say they are undeserving of my money. probably a safer choice for me and my money as EVERYTHING i have ever purchased there is defective and poorly made. i once had to return a lathe i purchased there 3 times and it was still defective when returned to me...they ended up refusing to stand behind the lathe but refused to return my money...thier drill bits and tools are likely made of pot metal as not one EVER has held its edge long than to uses...thier paints are terrible...EVERY tool they sell needs to be modified to function as intended ...MASTERCRAP and everything Crappy Tire sells is better suited as landfill as it is most likely where your money will end up.

Canadian Tire auto parts / re rotor for car

At grant shopping ctr. I am buying my friend's car. He went there to buy the parts for me. As he lives out of town and I had the car and I was getting the car fixed I went to pick up the parts his car needed which he paid for. They gave me 1 rotor that was paid for. So I had to buy that out of my own pocket. I asked him to give me 60 % off he said yes but didnt do it. We needed 2 rotors and now I was not going to be reimbursed for me 30 $ cuz they made the mistake or not giving the owner chris 2 rotors. Chris had the list of parts to get from midas so there was no mistake on our part. It was clear what car and what was needed. Then my son who lives very far was fixing my car lives in st. Jean baptist. And they gave me the wrong rotors. He had 5 bolts and we needed 4 bolts so he had to drive into town get my receipts and get the right bolts. Gas gas gas and time. I cannot believe the incompetance and lack of recompence and care these people gave me.! I hope that u compensate me for all that gas and time. At least 60 % off on all parts bought there. My reciept is not with me but you may ph me in afternoon for info. [protected] email [protected]@gmail.com
