Canada Post shipping information/scams

This is a complaint about Canada Post. Several packages/envelopes sent via Canada Post have been lost by them somehow. Even submitting an email to claim the lost has resulted every time in a reply from the postal service saying this or something like this:

"Thank you for contacting Canada Post about the item identified below.

Service Ticket: [protected]

Please check with the front desk, security or mail room, and at your address to see if someone else accepted the item on your behalf, your Community Mail Box for the item or parcel compartment key; or around your property to see if the item was left in a safe location or in a mailbox attached to your home.

*If you have still not received the item, please notify the sender and instruct them to contact Canada Post for further investigation*.

Your Service Ticket will now be closed.

Once again, thank you for contacting Canada Post."

How does this response apply when you reported that the item was sent to the wrong address?
Or, if you are not the shipper?

Being that the case that you are not the shipper, I have been told that their policy implies they do not relay any information to the consignee.

What happens if you cannot get a hold of the shipper to find out where the package is etc.?

The fact of the matter is that Canada has so many loopholes because of the simple fact that they will not give information to the consignee invites for criminal behavior. I know, that's why I am writing this. At the moment there are not specifics as you can see from the above email. There are however many apps online that have been lent an easy way to deliver stolen items, by Canada Post. The seller who is doing deals such as these is on letgo under IOS3unlock here is a case open with Pay Pal:

"You or Paulinho Ronaldo Jr can escalate this problem to a PayPal claim before August 9, 2017. On that date, this case will automatically close. Once a case has been closed, it cannot be reopened or escalated to a PayPal claim. We encourage you to respond to your seller as soon as possible.

Transaction Details

Case number: PP-006-000-sss-xxx
Seller's name: Paulinho Ronaldo Jr
Transaction date: July 20, 2017
Transaction amount:
Your transaction ID: 4F244222JV409xxxx
Sincerely,

PayPal"

This is in process but wanted to make people aware that this is a specific case and seller to be look out for.

Canada Post summer replacement...

Our regular postal lady is either away or re-assigned. We now have an Asian male who seems confused on method of delivery. Twice now I have been working in the front yard & he tries to hand the mail to me. Both times I have pointed to the mail box. With the new vehicle delivery system he doesn't park & walk very far. Parks, delivers 4 or 5 houses then moves vehicle 4 more houses up, gets out delivers another 4 houses, moves again a short distance, parks & delivers a few more houses. How is this cost effective? Also we are getting on a regular basis neighbors mail. Is he not able to read the different addresses?

Canada Post unreliable postman

Yesterday, July 18th we did not receive mail at all. We have had this postman for a few months now and he is unreliable. Unfortunately, I can not be more specific only that there have been days where we did not receive mail and it is coming at different times of day. The time of day is not relevant, however, receiving mail when it is not a statutory holiday is.

Canada Post missing 2 letters

1st letter from Manitoba Health which is a new health card which was mailed on June 16, 2017. The 2nd letter is from my doctor which was mailed on June 29. Both these businesses are located in Winnipeg. I was told my Manitoba Health that the health card would take 7 to 10 days, it is now a month. The second letter was mailed on June 30 and it came from my doctor's office at the Health Science Centre in Winnipeg. I was informed by phone today that i had to get some blood work and a EKG and I have an appointment on the 25th, but I don't know where and what time.

Canada Post two package sent from shoppers post office came back as insufficient fund

On June 30, 2017, I attended the Shoppers Post office located at 3080 Carling Ave, Nepean and sent two packages to the U.S. The clerk weight the packages and I paid what ever it was the cost.
Today, July 14, these two packages came back by mail to my home address is Ottawa. The reason provided by Canada Post, Insufficient found for dimension and destination.
How Canada Post can come up to that conclusion while Canada Post office actually sent the package after charging X amount.
This is 2 weeks later. This is unacceptable as I am doing business with clients and I cannot have confidence my package will be sent correctly to the destination.

This mailman was crafted in what he did he had been watching me for weeks. He asked for a drink of water and to come up to my apartment I said no. His assault was planned and I am sure he has done this before ashe was skilled asking the right questions did I live alone? Were the apts noisy? I expected more from canada post. I will file a sexual assault report with police.

Canada Post parcel delivery

July 11, 2017
I live in an apt. building with security cameras displaying activity in the lobby where the mail boxes are located. Today, I tracked my parcel online and saw that it was out for delivery today. I therefore kept an eye on the video feed from the mail delivery area and saw the Canada Post mail person arrive. I saw him put a few things in the mail boxes and left. He did not ring the buzzer for my apt. and I did not see him with any package.
Later I went down to the mail box to see if there was mail for me and found a notice for a parcel which will be available for pickup at the Post Office tomorrow.
I do not drive so I made sure I was home to accept the delivery, but there was no real attempt to deliver the package. Maybe he assumed that nobody would be home at that time of day. It was 11:46 a.m.
The tracking # [protected]
The # on the notice is [protected]

Canada Post xpress post

Avoid canada post or use at your peril - especially xpress post parcel. Shipped three boxes from brampton, on to mississauga, on june 15, 2017. One box was lost in transit. Tracking # [protected] the box was insured for $390.00 and I paid $109.56 total in shipping costs. Ticket number # [protected] was opened on june 20, 2017. Today canada post declined my claim because "they can't verify receipt with the receiver". Meanwhile I have full insurance on the box and can prove the package tracking never left their system.

Canada Post mail carrier

Hello,

we are a business located in Atria II - Sheppard & Victoria Park area in Toronto.
We have been having issues the last year with our new mail carrier as this gentleman is not gentle at all and is very unpleasant to deal with.
We noticed that if our mailbox is full he advises us to pick up the mail but he does so rudely.
We have never experienced issues in the past with Canada Post carriers and Canada Post in general but this person is not fit to deal with the public.
We wish you can find a solution as we don't like this person attitude towards us.
Thank you,
Valentina

Canada Post shipping cancellation

Hello,

I have sold a laptop via Kijiji and the person did not make the payment. I was frauded, but I had already sent the item to be shipped to Nigeria on 06/30/2017 by Canada Post. As I am tracking my post via online, it says it is in MISSISSAUGA Canada Post. I have called the customer service but I have told the situation but they say there is no possibility to cancel a shipment. It is still in Canada and I want to get my laptop back. You can cancel your money transfer even international ones but you can not cancel a shipment. How could that be possible? I am really disappointed about Canada Post service.
I want to cancel my shipment and get my laptop back as soon as possible. I don't want to send my laptop to Nigeria for free. I am hacked and at least I want my item back. I am attaching the tracking information below.

Canada Post customer service at creekside northwest calgary shoppers drug mart

I was at the shoppers drug mart to use the Canada post at creekside in Calgary. 9.30am, Tuesday 4th July, 2017.

Address: 12192 Symons Valley Rd NW #20, Calgary, AB T3P 0A3

I informed the lady at the CanadaPost counter that I wanted to buy envelopes and send a letter to Nigeria. She was hostile and did not offer any help or support. I took her silence as indication that I was to go ahead and continue selecting the envelope.

A white man came in shortly after and was talking to the lady at the counter while I was addressing the envelopes I picked. They conversed for about a few minutes until the conversation shifted to identity theft and identity fraud and the lady referred to "them" being everywhere and we need to watch out. At that point, I turned to the lady at the counter and I saw that they were watching me coldly.

In a very measured tone, I decided to Speak to he two about what I heard - it was not right to make racist assumptions about customers and I felt that the lady should know better and not engage customers in racist comments against other customers. The man she was talking to then can back to threaten me with violence swing I was a [censor]. I maintained that it was not right to make racist comments to customers and this was not what we were about in Canada.

Another staff of shoppers drug mart decided to threaten me with calling the police on me. I said that I would get my lawyers and would not be intimidated because they were in the wrong.

Then the supervisor came as well and I had now three people confronting me, two of whom did not witness the start of the discussions. They wanted to twist he story to make me out as agrressive and I said the videos will show who was the aggressor. The man was aggressive verbally and physically came into my space, while the women were hostile and it is undoubtedly because of my ethnicity. If I was a white man, nothing would have happened today. It would have been an uneventful day at the post office.

I said I was filing a complaint and that the staff need to be trained on diversity. The lady supervisor said they had no issues and her staff were fine. EVEN THOUGH SHE DID NOT WITNESS THE WHOLE ENCOUNTER. It became an all white people versus the only black person gang up. This is not acceptable, being super racist to a customer because of skin colour, and yet being absolutely willing to have racist conversations with white customer in the presence of the black customer. I was never made to feel welcome or accepted and it was never their intent to make me feel welcome or accepted. As a Canadian this is the wrong way and people like this do not represent us and should not work for Canada post.

Thank you
.

Canada Post election ballots

Attention Canada Post:
It is no secret that during the Conservative federal leadership election, some ballots did not arrive on memberships mail boxes. Consequently many people could not vote for Conservative leader! People in Canada post ridings either dumped them in garbage & burned them or discarded them in some way! Some total ridings did not receive their ballots (Mine was sent out 4 times) they NEVER reached my house to this day! DON'T EVER LIE & TRY TO BLAME ECXLECTION HEADQUARTERS! THE WORST THING THAT PARTIE DO IS STAMP THEIR PARTY LABEL ON OUTSIDE ENVELOPE. NO DOUBT YOU HAVE MAIL SORTERS & DELIVERY GUYS WHO HATE THE PARTY & stopped all ballots to in their communities of delivery! NO OTHER EXPLANATION IS FEASIBLE! So am consulting with federal law to investigate your mail sorting/delivery business! Federal offenses and lawsuits will be filed. Postees will lose jobs until you clean up & and OWN -up to these crimes!

Canada Post underpaid postage!

I was notify by Paypal that I underpaid this package EE181073238CA that I shipped on Jun 6, 2017 via Paypal / CanadaPost services. I have to comment that I do not agree with outcome of Canada Post and I do not like that fact that Canada Post can just go charge my credit card few dollars here and there without my consent. If Canada Post can proof that I did not enter the incorrect weights and measurements, at least provide the proof. The reason I don't agree with Canada Post is because I always put an extra centimeter of the actual measurements, I always enter an extra 20 grams of the actual weight. So I don't understand why Canada Post is asking me to pay extra $7.57 for a package I sent when I have entered extra weight and dimension?

If I am wrong, at least have the decency to provide proof a picture, a video ...than just charge my credit card without my consent .. .. I think it is only fair that Canada Post provide proof because this was not the first time Canada Post charge me extra on top of what was estimated at the time of checkout. I am willing to pay the fees if I am wrong, but I am pretty confident that I have never ever underpaid or mistype any measurements of weight or dimension !

Canada Post hobby items were given to post office, however were not picked up

June 12, 2017 to June 22, 2017
LX010316089CA Tracking Number
I send over a package with cards/hobby items to a customer, however the package was not picked up from the delivery office based off my information and hasn't been paid the dues for it. In general I would hope to receive the package back in good condition. I also hope to not have to pay a large amount of money to get it shipped back to me because that would be incredibly inconvenient but if it has to be done, then I will do it.

If it's in the scenery you sent it to then good chances are it's stuck in their customs, which can take a week or more to process and determine if the customer needs to pay for it. At this point it's out of Canada post's hands and in the hands of the mail carrier service to wherever you sent it. Not much Canada post can do about that, sorry bud.

Canada Post parcel not delivered

On the date of 2017/06/19 a parcel was sent to me from Edmonton using Xpresspost. The estimated delivery date is said to be within 2 days. Today is the 2017/06/28 and my tracking number still says the parcel is in transit. I live in Grande Prairie which is about 4h away from Edmonton. I was in Edmonton last weekend and I have not received the parcel yet and it wasn't returned to the sender either. That parcel cost me more than $500. The tracking number is LH [protected] CA. I called Canada Post a bunch of times and you are unable to provide any accurate information like who the driver was, where is now, was the parcel delivered on foot or what is going on. This is really annoying and I really want my parcel back. I don't believe in missing parcels because that parcel was big enough to b seen by any one, so either the parcel was stolen or there is something else happening. What ever the case I want my parcel back!

Canada Post islamic stamps being sold

On June 27, 2017, I was in the post office mailing a package. When paying the cashier, I noticed Islamic Stamps for Sale. This was for Ramadan - I was told. This is totally unacceptable to me, as this is not a Muslim country and having the Post Office promote a religion goes against separation of church and state. Don't forget this is the same group that don't want us saying "Merry Christmas".
It is becoming more and more clear that this government and it's agencies are divisive .
This will, in the near future, cause the silent majority to stand up and speak out in a thunderous way.

Fed Up!

Muslims are not telling us to stop saying Merry Christmas but our local and federal governments sure as hell are. Every year in Calgary, the budgets spent on decking out the city on Christmas have shrunk to the point that within the past couple years it has become almost unnoticeable that we are in the Christmas season (I'm sure having a muslim mayor has nothing to do with it) . This in itself wouldn't even be an issue. Times change and traditions do as well. But as this person in the original post is indicating, it has changed to a point where special privileges are being given to non-Christian ethic groups during their holiday season and we are expected to quietly except the replacement of our western culture with a historically barbaric one. I just hope that in the next federal election when considering choosing between the lesser of two evils, everyone considers what this liberal government (and Canadians such as yourself) have done to this country in such a very short period of time. No doubt we are headed to the same type of Angela Merkel style muslim apologist style of government where atrocities are committed in the name of allah and we are encouraged to turn the other cheek in the name of jesus (as you are doing now).

Cool your jets. Muslims aren't telling you to stop saying Merry Christmas. Nor is anyone else. You just want to be the "victim". What would Jesus do? Certainly not raise a fuss like this

Canada Post registered mail delivery on june 23,2017

On June 21, 2017 I mailed a package of Legal documents from Wasaga beach on behalf of Robert C.Cronish and Sandro Peca tracking # [protected] going to 401-357 bay street, Toronto Ontario, M5H 2T7, the item was time sensitive and was expected to arrive on Friday June 23, 2017.when the mail man/woman got there, they did not take the time to go to unit 401 to deliver the package. But noted on the tracking email that" the recipient not located at address provided. Item being returned to sender"I immediately called the recipient and confirmed that was the correct address and that they were in the office at the time. Due to Canada Post employee negligence I had to get the package and drive from Wasaga Beach to 357 Bay street to deliver the package that was already late.I immediately called and made a complaint on June 23, 2017 ticket # [protected].I am yet to hear from someone.I want my postage funds returned back to me plus my $30.00 gas.I am awaiting your response.

Canada Post international letter delivery

There was a registered letter send from Malaysia that left the country on 12th May 2017 and apparently arrived in Canada on .
I call Canada Post and they mentioned that there is 3 weeks delay at customs.
After waiting that period, called Canada Post and they tell me that I need to call the sender and find out.

I have written to the sender of the letter but waiting for their reply.
It is frustrating that I have to follow-up just for a registered letter.

Sounds very similar to my package sent from Malaysia. According to sender it was sent out to Vancouver on May 18. The sender stopped replying to my request that they provide information as to where exactly it is as Canada Post claims they can't track registered mail despite the sender providing a tracking number and told me to contact sender. Very frustrating experience. Hopefully we both receive our mail.
