Camping World customer service

My husband and I are from Cayce, South Carolina and we purchased a 2002 Thor Chateau 26 on July 21. This was the worst experience we could have had. After they got confirmation that we were serious, ie...paperwork, check stubs, and put the down payment on the RV. It took 2 days and an angry husband to actually get someone to return the call. They told my husband that our salesman called out and the finance dept. was still working on the "deal" that I told Colton that we were prepared to bring a cashiers check with us for the agreed upon amount. Since they were having trouble financing due to the age of the vehicle, and due to the difficulies that we had been having, Ken said that he was "sorry and would make the cash price right". We were assured an answer the next day, and the finance manager did call me, he said the finance company said no. I asked him to please get together with the gentleman that my husband had spoken with the previous day, we would need a cash price because we would be bringing a check. It took the rest of the day but I got an email with the bill of sale in the amount of $13, 991.94. Saturday morning we boarded the plane, flew to Chicago, rented a car to drive an hour to CW. Our appt. started with a tour of the RV with Bryan. My husband had experience with a previous RV so we did a quick walk thru. Chris took us to get the necessities and we got "lost" in the system. When we were finally called back, I was told that they would attempt to get insurance for me that was cheaper than what I was paying currently. Even though I wasn't interested I went ahead and wasted 30 minutes with this process. At that point the finance manager took us to his office and told us that the bill of sale that they sent was not correct and that it was $1500 and that they could "split" the difference of the discrepency with us, so I ended up writing another check in the amount of $750.00. At that point I just wanted to get this business finished, get our RV and get on the road to home. Once everything was finished and after being on the road for abour 2 or 3 hours the A/C in the main cabin started triping the breaker and the A/C in the main cab stopped working as well. We also noticed that the refrigerator was not cooling correctly. On Tuesday after returning, I tried 3 different times giving people ample amount of time to return the call and recieved no call. So I called Steve the manager at the Columbia SC store and he and Ashley told me to bring it in that this wasn't right and thier intent was to make it right. They have been trying to reach the Illinois store and no one will call her back. I went to CW because I thought that they were all run the way Steve and Ashley run their store, I was WRONG! I need someone from the Illinios store to approve the repairs on the RV that Ashley has been calling them about for days with no response. Any other information please feel free to contact me Ashley at the Columbia SC store has all of my contact information

Camping World 2018 kodiak travel trailer

FYI...for anyone looking for a camper, we would advise you not to use camping world! We bought a 2018 new travel trailer last Friday and came home and loaded all of our things to go camping this weekend. Once we got to campsite we hooked everything up and then went out on lake for 6-7 hours and came back to water pouring out from the under carriage, once inside we noticed water coming from under the kitchen sink and the cabinets already buckled. The water was coming from the hot and cold lines. Once we talked to camping world they said when they put it through service department prior to pick up, they fixed a water leak coming from the faucet. We knew nothing of this at pick up. Apparently they did not fix it but left their used rags to clean up water underneath the cabinet drawers at the water pump (which they are claiming they did not do). So we pack up and come to camping world today and they refuse to come out and look at it and all they want to do is turn it in under warranty and "fix it". This is clearly not a warranty issue and we don't want it fixed that way! We either want a camper just like it or our money back! "Fixing it" is not an option when it's their mistake and now there will be mold and the cabinets are ruined. So our expensive camper is now ruined by camping world service department and so was our family weekend camping trip!

Camping World customer service, timely repairs.

I have taken the last three trailers we have purchased from Camping World for various repairs. All warranty work, all within warranty time limits. Mixed results on repairs, mostly poor all excessive periods of time. Last purchase was fall of 2017 for 28K. Multiple problems precluded us from using our trailer for most of the season this year, used it twice by picking it up before work was completed or parts were in,
used it broken. Our calls were not returned, parts were not ordered correctly, repairs that could have been made were not, promises were not honored and in general we were given the go 'round. That kind of money does not grow on trees for my wife and I. I am done with camping world, I will never purchase another thing from them and I will tell of my experiences to any one that will listen. As a matter of fact, our camping days ( and we really enjoy them ) are probably finished.

Camping World repair service, do any of the o's from camping world read, or act on these complaints?

This site discusses the growth of Camper World. They are growing, however, they are not growing their support Staff.

I dropped a Freedom Elite off on July the 4th. The comment was thank you, check back next week. I did, check back next week and I just visited today going on the 3rd week and was told to check back next week. The personnel who work there are great!

Johnathan is my contact at the service desk. He even called me at 7:45 PM to apologize for the service not being done yet. I talked to the service manager, I stressed my frustration over a company that serves the community and does not have a support staff to serve the business. In his defense, I blame it totally on the people who can hire.

Profits be darned, hire the people you need to support your business. If there was another maintenance facility that could provide the service I would be gone from them. I am a Good Sam member and if the representatives from Good Sam HQ are reading this then this facility needs to be reevaluated as a vendor. I know that I am not the only one frustrated with the poor service; they said they have more than 500 units waiting to be serviced...

Every time I go there out of frustration because no one answers the phone I see irate people at the service desk because no staff is available to provide the service.

If you are one of the frustrated people who purchased from Fayetteville Camper world and was told what a great support staff they had only to find out when you needed support it was non-existent please sound off. They will not change until they see that the customers want the service they thought they were getting when the salesperson sold them the unit.

Camping World customer service is poor!!!

The Rapid City Camping World needs customer service training for their service desk personnel. Three times we've had our camper in for repairs (some warranty some not) and each time the service desk employee got loud and defensive when we showed the least bit of dissatisfaction. On our last visit, after we questioned the length of time it was taking to check out the employee got snotty replying "well can you fix the computer"! What ever happened to good customer service?

Camping World lousy customer service

we purchased a coleman lantern model 274bhs from your dealer in kingston ny. love the camper but we told wrong information about the model from the dealer . we were told the camper had and electric as well as gas hot water heater not the case. upon pick up the camper hooked up by the dealer for transport and the hook up was done wrong so it spliced the electric wire from the rig to our truck they were gonna let it go with splicing the wire and then putting electrical tape on it and letting us go we protested and they kept the rig and got us a new wire installed the person that did out finance paperwork was only interested in selling us more services we did not want or need took forever. we get the camper to our seasonal site and proceeded to take our first showers in the rig and two to three inches of water was pouring out all over the floor of the rig come to find out the drain pipe was totally separated from the drain of the tub went to the dealer with a complaint and asked if they please could go to the campground where it was located to fix the camper because it was difficult for us to get it back down to them was told they could not do the repair in the field so we brought it back down called this morning to make sure all was okay was told we locked the dead bolt when in fact we did not they had the wrong key the receptionist was rude and would not let me hold until our service advisor was off the phone and just threw me into voicemail my son and I have never heard such rude employees at this location in your parts department and all over your location I can see why I have heard so many complaints about this dealership I have zero faith that my camper will be fixed correctly

Thank you

Camping World roanoke location:

I recently made a purchase for a base plate and Braking system to be added to a new vehicle to tow behind my rv. i called and spoke with parts person and he and the service advisor said if i bought and next day aired they would get it put on asap, since i was leaving on vacation the following week. The part came in and i called to try and schedule only to find that after it arrived that they could not do till the week after the vacation. So being upset that i paid extra to get quick, i decided to drive the 5 hours to get the parts and hopefully speak with manager and get corrected. she started out with she could do the next day then after going back and forth in the back said could not do till friday 2 days later. My issue is not with the manager but i feel as if i was purposely lied to to get the order then denied when i confronted them i have over 40 years of rving and have never had such poor service, i will no longer use this company again to purchase or any thing else. I am still confused why the manager wanted to know what i did for a living not really sure what that has to do with anything a companies word should be good enough to do business with them.

Camping World new rv sold with non working refrigerator and it has been 4 weeks and still not fixed

We picked out the new 2018 travel trailer at Camping World of Sherman on 6/15 and were told to come pick it up at 3:00 on 6/16/2018. This was so they could get it ready and make sure everything was in working order! We arrive at 230. Around 430 after being told they are really busy, other people were late to appts, etc we are finally told it's our turn to sign the papers and take our camper home. Great! We look over the camper and find the chair has a worn spot that is almost a hole. They say they can't replace it but can have someone fix it. OK, whatever. We sign the papers, buy the extended warranty and go to take it home. They were already closed at this point. We get down the road and realize they did not put a paper tag on the camper but luckily we made it home without it. Then the fun begins! We get it home, leveled, electricity and water hooked up and are so excited...only to find out the refrigerator does not cool. We let it run over 48 hours. The freezer worked great but not the refrigerator. I called the service dept and they said bring it in. We pull up to the service area on 6/21/2018 and start backing it in only to have a long haired, crackhead looking guy run out and yell at us as if we are doing something wrong. He told us to go park it in the no parking zone across the street. We pull up there and Shawn comes out. We explain what's going on and he said to leave the camper where it is so they can move it later and check it out. We were offered nothing in writing acknowledging we were leaving it. All we could do was take a picture of the paper he was writing up. Once they checked it, they said it needed a part ordered through the Forest River warranty and they would order it and have it expedited. We had a vacation scheduled with the camper for the upcoming weekend. We were told that it would take a week or two to get the camper fixed. If we wanted to use our brand new camper we could come pick it up and use it and just take a cooler since the refrigerator is broken. We live over an hour away and my husband works and can't just keep driving back and forth taking it and picking it up. This is not an option. The camper stays there. They say the part is on the way. There's almost no communication on their part. I receive a call from Shawn saying it will be ready to pick up on 7/9/2018. I hear nothing. On 7/11/2018 I call him. He says he has no idea why anyone would have said that because they don't even have the part yet. It's due in on 7/13. He will call me whether it's in or not. Again, no call. I call him. The part did not come in but is now supposed to be in on 7/17/2018. I call the evening of 7/17 after no call from Shawn only to find out he's not there and the part is not in. Dale will email Shawn and have him call me today. I get a call saying the Dometic factory was shut down for 2 weeks and that's why the part wasn't ordered. NOT ACCEPTABLE! Shawn has his service Mgr, JT call me to basically the me the same thing and that the part is now ordered and he will call when they have shipping confirmation. This is where we currently stand. We bought a brand new travel trailer, have not gotten to use it, our vacation time has passed and the 1st payment is due. STEER CLEAR OF CAMPING WORLD AT ALL COSTS! We have been lied to over and over. The next step is to stand right outside their property on the highway service road with signs warning people to stay away! They need to make this right immediately or buy the camper back plus cover all the time spent back and forth and having to deal with this!

Camping World service center

We took our 2016 Aerolite 174 to Camping World in Alcoa Hwy in TN. on June 7th. (we wanted to bring it in sooner but we had to wait for a appointment to open up, this took weeks). We needed a leaking water heater checked and a creaked gasket in the toilet. We were told there had been issues with leaking water heaters and they would check the warranty. (We went camping in May and the water heater leaked when we first hooked it up. The gasket on the toilet start leaking 2 days into camping.
Since June 7th we have called multiple times to check the status. Almost every time we had to leave a message and would never receive a call back. After 3 or 4 weeks we finally talked to some one and they said someone would be looking at it tomorrow. We called the next day no answer. After a few days we finally got another person that said they would look at it tomorrow. After a week we get a call saying the damage was due to freezing and we ask about the toilet leaking and they said that was related to the water heater. That doesn't make since, but none of this does at this point.
Today we get a call asking if we wanted them to fix it? No we just wanted to make a appointment and let our camper sit there for 6 weeks during camping season.
This is the worst customer service I have encountered with large purchase.
We are going to upgrade our camper this year but it will not be at any Camper World locations. The only time they pay attention to you is when you are looking to buy and once you make that mistake they act like you don't exist.
We also told them the antenna had never been connected and they wanted to charge us to connect it. We told them we are not paying for something that should have been done when we first bought it.

Very dissatisfied customers that will tell everyone we know not to go to Camping World.

Paul Martin & Kim McKinney.

Camping World service

Got treated horribly. Was given prices that was written down on one of their pamphlets. When we went to start payment process we were told a completely different price. Salesman said he made a mistake. Then they had the nerve to say the price they gave us wad on another trailor that had some mild hail damage. They had us come back to look at the trailor with hail damage and it was so bad even the 2nd salesman that was also involved with the 1st salesman was afraid for us to see and saidit was really bad. They tried to sell us a totaled trailor for only $2k less. They have lousy their minds. The 2nd salesman felt so bad and embarrassed that he found us another trailor for around the same price we were looking but fiberglass for less hail damage concerns. When they got it in they failed to call us to come and look at it once it got there due to thefact that the 1st sleezy salesman sold it from up under us knowing it was brought there from their storage. I called and spoke with a manager named Gary who treated me horribly. He didn't want to talk to me or bother with me till I told him I was going to file a complaint and contact corporate. Worse than car salesman. The other Sales reps even messed with the salesman that sold the trailor we were supposed to get by calling himJake the Snake all day. Even undercut the 2nd sales guy. Guess that's why, because he didn't want to have to split the sales costs even though he didn't do anything for us but lie, cheat and steal. Filthy and worse experience I've every gone through.

Camping World warranty work

Camping World Headquarters July 10, 2018

Good morning.

Our 2017 Trailer has been at the Vacaville, CA. Camping World facility since April 15, 2018 - three (3) months now - to repair a (1) collapsed duct in the floor HVAC system, (2) bathroom door incorrectly installed & crooked, (3) refrigerator leaked and heavy smell of ammonia on the first day of a 3-week trip to the Northwest in March 2018.

We bought the 2017 Keystone Bullet Model 248RKSWE - chassis # 4TDT24821HX426574 in July 2017, brand new. Tried to make an appointment to make warranty repairs in October 2017. There was a huge backlog. Had to wait till March 2018, then again in April 2018. We dropped off the trailer, no movement on repairs for (2) weeks. PARTS, PARTS, PARTS. The shop will not fix anything until ALL the parts have arrived. Now waiting on a cross member for the floor HVAC. I have spoken to them over a dozen times and they have called me.

DO NOT blame Anzra in the service department. She is the hardest working person in the entire building. She is not the problem. Turnover, people quit, warranty disputes amongst manufacturer and Vacaville, etc.

I have been more than patient, trust me. We are retired and on a fixed income and trying to enjoy what we couldn't do when we were younger. Can someone PLEASE help me? Ignacio & Margaret Perez 925/783-8284. [protected]@comcast.net

Praying for a favorable response.

Shop Work Order is 18095.

Camping World 2018 hideout fifth wheel

We bought our camper in June of 2018 and we have had nothing but problems. For one the battery will not stay charged. It has power hooked up to it don't understand. I have called Byron office to get this fixed. But they don't seem to care after you make the purchase. We didn't finance anything we paid them with a cashier's check. When we got it they couldn't find the keys the vacuum wasn't in it. The remotes weren't in there. I had to go buy remotes to use tv and radio. Not real happy with camping world right now. I am gonna give them til the end of Wednesday to let me know what they gonna do about it if not herd anything by then I will be getting my lawyer involved. It's crazy that you pay 35, 454 dollars and can't even go camping cause your camper isn't right. Thanks for listening and maybe something will get done without having to take action. We just don't give our money away freely.

Camping World 2018 heartland pioneer fifth wheel pl 3 vin 5sfrg3722je378480 (no access to rv)

To Whom It May Concern,
I Purchased a 5th Wheel June 11th 2018 from Camping World, Las Vegas Nv. The 5th Wheel was to be delivered to me June 18th as I had plans to take my family on vacation. It was delivered June 19th without a call to let me know it would not be on time. The 5th Wheel was delivered across the street, not on my property but on a neighbors property. The keys were given to my mom, which were not the proper keys to the 5th Wheel, as I could not get in it to open and inspect it. At time of Purchasing 5th wheel, I also bought and paid cash for an air conditioning unit which was suppose to be installed before delivery, which was not installed. I called Camping World, told them about the issues, they told me they would be out the next day to pick up the 5th Wheel to install the A/C unit. I heard nothing from them for 26 days leaving messages and being hung up on by Thomas Gal amongst other staff . I left messages with Joseph Milliron, Thomas Gal, Mike Holsie, Brad Mercer. These are all the employees I dealt with while making my purchase. NO one responded. Needless to say, I was unable to go camping with my family, took off work. Lost wages. mother was to be living in the 5th wheel. She is living with me in my studio apt.My This is one of the main reasons I purchased this 5th Wheel, so my ill mother can be comfortable. It's been a month and it is not unaccessible.
This is only stage one of my problems with Camping World and their employees. Finally a call back on the 17th day, after I sent an email directed to all the above names. They came picked up the RV on June 3rd 2018, took it back to Vegas 4 hour drive, which is wear and tear on the vehicle and tires.
They brought it back, July 5th 2018, driver backed into my gate, railing came off cement slab. Cement cracked. So they installed A/C (problem), where they installed it, in bedroom, the bathroom door won't open fully because door is hitting A/C unit. Also ceiling stips in bedroom falling apart, and pieces of wood in kitchen coming down.
My 1st payment is coming up in 2 days. I have not even had a chance to use the vehicle. I not only purchased this to go camping, I also purchased this so my disabled mom could live in this. How can she live in a vehicle without opening the door to the bathroom? I am trying to contact all of the above persons named above for an answer, to no avail. I would like to be compensated with reimbursement of cost for my A/C I paid cash for, first months bill to be paid since I have not used the 5th wheel this month, and for the 5th Wheel to be satisfactory repaired with phone calls reassuring it's to my standard. This is not asking to much considering what I have lost.
These emails below might be repetitive, but I wanted to include everything including pictures.

to Joseph.Milliron @campingworld.com
Please read this as this is pertaining to You. (Fifth Wheel from Camping World {CW} at 13175 Las Vegas Blvd. So. Las Vegas. Nv. on June 11th 2018. ) I Paid $4000. as a down payment.
The unit Was suppose to be delivered June 18th 2018. Was delivered on June 19, 2018. At time of Purchasing RV I also purchased an extra air conditioning unit in which CW was to have installed before delivery. I paid cash for a/c in the sum of $943.00 . When delivered they left parietal keys, with limited access to RV. in which I have limited access to enter the unit. RV was parked across the street on a neighbors property. I called Camping World in Las Vegas the very same day June 19th after it was delivered to let them know I don't have correct keys. Camping World said they would come out on Wed. June 20th to give me correct keys, and to take RV to install air conditioning unit. June 19th came and went, No key, no word from CW {Camping World} I have called Camping World on a daily basis, and have left numerous messages with no response. I was dealing with a Mr. Brad Mercer, and Mike Holsie and Thomas Gal. Upon speaking with Thomas Gal, he hung up on me. Brad Mercer, and Mike Holsie have yet to even attempt to return any phone calls.
Also on section 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 form REG 343 rev 2/2012 www my name was forged.
The basis of purchasing this RV was to go on vacation with my family right after it was delivered. I was unable to go on vacation and not only wasted my time planning it, but what a let down to my family.
I also purchased it for my elderly ill mother to live in after I returned from my vacation. The RV has been sitting across the street since it has been delivered, I am afraid it will soon be towed, or vandalized.
My 1st payment is coming up soon, and I haven't even been able to view the inside.
I am sure I will not receive any contact back from any one in this email, as I have made several attempts to contact you during your business hours, with out any contact or messages back from anyone at CW. I am simply writing this email to each individual I have mentioned above as proof and documentation that I have continuously made attempts to resolve this issue with no response from any one's name in this email, or anyone at CW.
Please send this message to all employee's who's name is on this message.
Thank You.

2nd email for 2nd problem

Today is July 6th 2018. I am writing this email as proof and documentation that I have tried to make attempts to resolve another issue with you regarding the 5th wheel I purchased from camping world on June 11th. I sent you an email Yesterday July 5th asking you to call me. I have yet to hear from you or any of your staff.

Issues with 5th Wheel as follows:
Picture 1. Air Conditioner installed, bathroom door hits A/C unit does not open.
Picture 2. " "
Picture 3. Stipping on ceiling, in Bedroom
Picture 4. Wood pieces falling from 5th Wheel in Kitchen from traveling to and from.
There is an issue with the air conditioning you installed in the 5th wheel. You installed the a/c in the bedroom and the bathroom door hits the air conditioning unit so that the bathroom door does not open. It opens slightly. A person cannot fit in through the door. Didn't your person installing the a/c examinge the unit after installing?
I am inserting pictures for you to see for yourself.

A few other issues: The stripping on the ceiling of the bedroom is coming apart. I am not trying to be nit picky, but I paid a lot of money for this 5th wheel and I expect it to be complete upon arrival.

Upon bringing the 5th wheel on my property, the guy driving it hit my gate, and the railing came off the cement, making the cement crack.

I have a question re: the 5th wheel. Why can't you send someone out here from either Vegas, or San Bernardino Camping World to fix the issue, instead of taking it all the way back to Vegas.
Today July 6th is the first day I finally open up the 5th wheel to take a look at it. Its been 25 days since I purchased the 5th Wheel, and STILL have not been able to use it. My payment is coming up soon. I expect an answer ASAP.

I would like for you send this to your corporate office, as I will do the same to make sure it gets there.

Mr. Milliron, I am trying to work and communicate with you. But in order to do so, you have to work with me too.
Seriously would you be happy if you bought a 5th wheel and had so much problems such as what I am going through?

Again, this is the 2nd email I have sent you, and I would appreciate if you would forward this to Brad Mercer, Mike Hosie, Thomas Gal. I would gladly appreciate a call from ANY OF THESE PEOPLE.

Camping World pull behind camper

We went to look at a camper 3 weeks ago at camping world in Oxford Alabama. We didn't intend on buying. We wound up getting a pushy salesman and he kept insisting that we buy. We did give him a $500 check to hold the camper and told him we would let him know if we were going to buy the camper the next week. We did not sign any paperwork at all. We want our money back now. They will not call us back.

Camping World ordering rv furniture

I spoke with Camping World regarding the purchase of a sofa for our motor home. They referred me to the manufacturer, Lippert, and I did so. I was very happy with Lippert as they gave me details on the sofa that Camping World could not and because I wanted the sofa delivered at a later date they said to advise Camping World and they will pass that information to them because the sofa is drop shipped right from the factory.
I did so. After making the purchase, I emailed and called Camping World. When I spoke to their associate I was shocked with her attitude...You cannot do that, she exclaimed. When I told her what Lippert said, she exclaimed that I should not have spoken to Lippert. I explained that a Camping World associate told me to call Lippert. She then spoke to a manager and then said that she was cancelling the order. OK, this is the road Camping World wants to travel, so be it. But the next day I received a confirmation from Camping World that the order had gone through. I called the number provided (different from original number) and followed the menu to existing orders and their phone just hung up.
If this is Camping World's new way of doing business, they better wise up. The competition is great and Amazon as just one example does a much better job with customer relations and customer service. I was never yelled at by an Amazon associate. Amazon now handles Lippert Sofa's so they will get my business and Camping World will lose it and much more business as the word gets out.

Camping World jayco jayflight slx

We purchased a new Jayco Jayflight SLX from the Greenwood, IN location. We pulled it home and while we were driving I noticed the electric brake controller didn't have a numerical display. I checked the wiring on the controller and tow vehicle, and both were fine. Then I checked the trailer wiring and found the brake wiring on the axle, not connected. Just two bare wires hanging there. So I emailed the salesman and he said "that's a service issue, and I would have to call the service department." That's it, no apology or offer to assist or accommodate or anything! I'm not sure how a brand new trailer slipped through a pre-delivery inspection without functioning brakes?
So now I'm told I need to bring it back ~80 miles for service to repair the brake wiring.
I'M NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!

Camping World replacement window didn't fit/cost to return item

I ordered the window May 11 of 2018. The window in question here is item # 108969. The Slim Shade Unit. The replacement window offers a clear tinted glass with a folding shade inside to provide privacy and bloke light. The replacement window is supposed to replace the window that comes stock on most RV doors. The replacement window specifications on the company's website and in the catalog did not indicate a thickness measurement or tolerance required for the door. I tried to order online and was notified that I needed to call the order in. The representative stated that the item was backordered and would be sent as soon as it became available. All specifications that where offered on the website and catalog indicated the width and height of the window cut out. No thickness measurement was offered. After receiving the window, we tried to install it but quickly found that it does not fit the thickness of this door. Okay, so I'll just return it. The item was repackaged in the original box and prepared for shipping. I called the customer service number and was told that I would have to pay for return shipping even though the problem was no fault of ours. The shipping cost me almost half of the cost of the window. My husband is a professional carpenter and would have made sure the window would have fit if the proper dimensions had been given. I have mentioned this incident to a few other RVers and have heard the same complaint from each of them. I believe the return shipping should be covered by the company especially if the information is not advertised in full or if it is no fault of the customer. My order number was 1773977.

Camping World 2017 keystone cougar camper

I am really discourage about this camper and the service we have been getting. We spent so much money on this camper things are not being fixed or being fixed half assed and we keep having to take to camping world to get things fixed. Our warranty runs out next month and we still are dealing with stuff that was said to be fixed or was fixed but not fixed right. We took our camper in last October to have a bunch of warranty issues fixed. We had many calls from camping world parts are in when can you bring camper up. We told them three times they had our camper ok well I will go look again but couldn't find the camper. This is [censored]. Then it was getting cold out so we wanted to know if they were done nope hadn't even started so they said they were going to winterized because they had not even started and some parts were ordered wrong. We finally got our camper back in Jan February time frame. We had to take back up because the sink in bathroom was still leaking so my husband took a pic to show them we finally got it back again they fixed the leak but underneath the cabinet the wood is water stained and warped. Then we told them about the couch not shutting properly well nothing has been done about that then we also told them about the trim around the wheel well my husband had to put screws in it because they never fixed that and it almost blew off. Memorial weekend we used camper and the shower started leaking everywhere found out the shower area was not winterized so we finally got them to come out and fix them the next week we went out the turn on valves started leaking everywhere and then 2 weeks ago we went camping again and found out the lines under camper that lead to the shower are leaking everywhere. I have called yesterday and today and no one has called me back. We also told them about the stove burner but they said nothing wrong. There is something wrong because it starts a fire underneath the plate of the stove. They were supposibly fixed the toy hauler door and ordered parts but now we have to slam because it runs and won't shut right. We spent all this money and all we have had was problems with this camper and people fixing things half assed. Our warranty is about to expire but no one cares. I am very disappointed with camping world and right now will never ever buy or recommend this company. I am tired of nobody returning my call or fixing issues. Please contact me by [protected] to help resolve these issues. I am done. Someone needs to call me to make this right before I call people up line or better business bureau. I am tired of being screwed around.

Camping World class a rv purchase

I bought a Class A RV from Camping world in August 2017 and have had continuous maintenance issue since the purchase. We did purchase the extended warranty and while the warranty has covered much of the cost for the maintenance, we have still spent thousands in repairs. Frustrations of cost along with several delayed trips and having been stranded on the road three times, once for several days.
We purchased this RV to use, although the RV has needed more time in the shop than on the road. I don't know what the answer is but we are very dissatisfied and significantly concerned over the long-term ownership prospect.
Currently there are several open maintenance issues and based on previous experiences, I expect the RV will need a month or more in the shop and other shops to correct the open issue along with several thousand dollars in cost over what the extended warranty will cover.
List of open issues
• Brakes Do not work correctly, have had them worked on two times and still not corrected. Very Dangerous ?$$
• Main cabin A/C issues not cooling correctly $270
• Refrigerator - Freezer not cooling correctly ?$$
• Large full-length slide-out alignment/operational issues along with associated damage to fabric, seals, locks, frame, body paint, sheet metal, slide floor etc. Appears the warranty may will cover some of the repair cost, will likely still cost me at least $1200 over warranty coverage. If not covered by warranty the cost will be several thousand$ to repair.
• Gray tank meter indicating incorrectly $150
• Engine A/C has been recharged three times since purchase, there must be a leak. $?
• Chassis unstable causing the RV to rotate wildly side-side over uneven road surfaces, repair shop suggested it needs maintenance and replacement parts to correct. Several thousand $$$$
• Chassis Jacks not leveling properly ?$$
• Intermittently when turning on leveling jacks, error message for low voltage ?$$
• Leaking shower door at lower frame ?$$
• Water heater intermittently fault when on Gas
• Mount for Trailer brakes not holding the brake unit.
List of closed issues
• Engine Cooling Fan failure
• Engine Thermostat failure
• Engine Turbo Charger failure
• Failure of two leveling Jacks
• Washing machine failure
• Front Tire failure
• Trailer lights intermittent.

And finally, at time of purchase the Extended Warranty was originally written up incorrectly and explained incorrectly resulting in the loss of 1 yr of coverage after the fact. Originally 60mo coverage at time of purchase, then later after purchase/closing maintenance contract revised to 48mo with added mileage limits.
