I purchased a camera lens from Cam Vision Camera IT & Audio Syed Alwi Road, Singapore. I had asked for a Prime lens for my Nikon Camera. But the shop keeper cheated me by selling a cheap lens for 4 times its price. I am not much aware about lenses and so I believed what the shopkeeper told me assuming that they do not cheat tourist in Singapore. But back to India when I checked the model & price in Amazon I found that I was not given a Prime Lens. Instead it was only an extender that costs $61. But it was sold to me for $200. I was given 2 lens filters for $30. Not sure about the quality of that also. The lens is not good and not focusing properly. Also Nikon experts say that the extended lens if put on to the Nikon 18-55 / 55-200 lens will spoil the camera and lens soon as it is heavy weight and the camera motor will not support that weight. I am cheated. I have the bill. I request that suitable action must be taken for cheating tourists and also refund must be provided by the vendor to me. My email id [protected]@gmail.com

I have ordered lens from cameraishop.com, and if this is a lie, I will file a complaint to the FBI if I do not come within 1 month

I ordered a Canon 28-300 f/3.5-5.6L EF IS USM lens with free cap keeper from the online website www.soniccameras.com on August 13, 2008. Instead of a Canon lens, they sent me a Sigma lens 18/200mm F3.5-6.3 DC OS. When I told the representative from the company that I ordered a completely different brand of lens than the one that was sent to me, he just told me that Sonic Cameras sent me an even better lens. I was told to use the Sigma lens with my camera. During this process, the representatives on the phone were extremely rude and unprofessional and told me that I could not return or exchange the lens because they were exclusively ordered from Japan. I paid a total of $1, 910 for the lens with a filter I requested and the market value of the lens (Sigma 18/200mm F3.5-6.3 DC OS) that Sonic Cameras sent me is ranging from $294 to $463. I am currently in the process of filing a suit against the firm.
